Eirini Rising
We are still in the space that has been designated for the light show, whose giant screens are adorned with the photo of Yasmine and Heath. Paul and Terese stand by as Holly demands that Andrew find answers.
HOLLY: Yaz knows Heath - you have to find out how! (...) I mean, look how cosy they are! Were they a couple once?
Paul explains that they've tried to call Yaz several times, and she isn't picking up. Andrew resolves to run a background check on her as a first move. Then he'll talk to Krista and Aaron, who are on their way back to the Complex; hopefully they'll know more by now.
TERESE: Way back from where?
ANDREW: What, you haven't heard? Max was electrocuted.
Erinsborough Hospital
Max is lying in a hospital bed, his burned hands all bandaged up. Jane turns up and starts fussing; she tells him that she's been talking to his dad Shane, who's cutting short his holiday to come and be here. But Max tells her Shane doesn't need to do that.
MAX: The doctor said I'd be fine once my hands heal. This is my problem, I can deal with it.
Max says everything was a blur from the second the first jolt hit him.
MAX: I dunno... they definitely said it was an accident, didn't they?
JANE: Well, yes of course! It's not like anyone was *trying* to hurt you.
MAX (worried): Yeah. Yeah, right.
The Waterhole
Paul, Terese and Holly have convened with Aaron, Krista and Leo. Aaron tells everyone that Jane is with Max at the hospital, and that he's going to be okay. Holly is feeling bad because she asked Max to help with the lights, and wonders if the cord was wet. Krista says they don't know how it happened yet. Holly still doesn't understand what Yaz's connection is to Heath. Andrew appears, having talked to a colleague at the police station.
ANDREW: According to the US authorities, Yaz's birth name is Silverson.
HOLLY: Oh my god!
AARON: The brother who was murdered...
HOLLY: Heath was not murdered!
AARON: I didn't mean that. Yaz told Nicolette that her brother died in 'suspicious circumstances'.
Andrew asks Krista about Leah Curtin who she mentioned to him earlier; Krista explains that's the lawyer who interviewed Tess Carmichael at the prison, but that Sincast couldn't find any information on her. Andrew goes to call the prison to speak to Tess.
HOLLY: Yaz kept asking me about Heath, and about the outback. I thought she was just being my friend.
TERESE: So the whole time, they were related.
HOLLY: Why would she keep that from me? Why?
PAUL: Uh, where is Nicolette?
LEO: I haven't seen her all night.
AARON: The last I saw her was when Max had the accident.
But that was hours ago, so everyone wonders where Nic is now...
Erinsborough Hospital
Jane is still sitting by Max's bed, but Max is now asleep. Jane sees Nicolette turn up through the window, and goes out to talk to her. Nic's relieved that Max is going to be okay, but Jane wants to know where she's been for the last few hours, as everyone has been looking for her back at the Complex.
NICOLETTE: I went for a walk. A long one. Why were they looking for me?
JANE: Oh, darling - I hate to be the one to break this to you, but... apparently some terrible things have come out about Yaz.
Jane wants to let Aaron and co explain, but Nicolette insists Jane tell her now, so she knows what she's walking into when she heads back to the Complex.
The Waterhole
Nicolette is now back, and Andrew is quizzing her while Aaron, Leo and Krista stand by. Nic claims she hasn't seen or heard from Yaz since this afternoon.
ANDREW: And she never mentioned Heath's name to you?
NICOLETTE (shaken): No, never. She told me that her brother died, but she never mentioned his name.
Aaron comforts Nic, seeing that she's having a tough time processing the situation. Holly then turns up, and tries to reassure Nic too, saying that Yaz played them all.
ANDREW: Why did you leave after Max's accident?
NICOLETTE: I was upset. We realised that Yaz had checked out without saying goodbye.
LEO: Well, it's clear she's done a runner, right? She must be halfway back to America by now.
Krista receives an incident report by email from Kendall, Yaz's tech expert, revealing that the canopy of lights on the system that gave Max his shock was set on a timer, to go off at 10pm. Holly begins to connect the dots...
HOLLY: Yaz gave me a transformer in case the lights went off in the main hub.
KRISTA (reading): She said that the transformer was damaged. She knew which one it was because it was marked, and she told Yaz that it was dangerous...
HOLLY: Yaz gave me that specific task. Max offered to switch it for me.
KRISTA: Andrew, you need to issue a warrant for her arrest - now!
HOLLY (horrified): Was she trying to kill me?!

Krista comes home to find Sebastian cooking dinner for her; it's a goulash like the one they had to make in Budapest to pay off their debt before Krista's dad bailed them out. (Just like the lavender- glazed profiteroles - why is being forced to work off your dinner bill by an angry restaurateur something that happens so much on TV, and never in real life?)
Krista is just tasting a spoonful of the goulash offered to her by Seb, when Leo walks in and looks peeved. Krista then gives Leo a hug and Seb looks jealous. Krista has some more news for Leo - Andrew provided a picture of Yaz to Tess at the prison, who confirmed that Yaz and the lawyer Leah Curtin are one and the same.
LEO: What?! That's so twisted.
Seb suggests to Krista that they go into the city for brunch tomorrow, but Leo chips in, saying he's planned a picnic just for Leo, Krista and Abigail. Seb briefly looks annoyed but Krista suggests they can go to the city another day, and he agrees. But Seb looks annoyed again as Leo and Krista kiss.
Ramsay Street
The next day, Andrew and Nicolette are chatting in the street. Andrew confirms to Nic that Yaz caught a flight back to the US last night. Nic asks if CCTV was how Yaz was traced, evidently worried that she may have been caught on footage herself. Andrew says there was CCTV of Yaz arriving, but that flight logs confirmed the rest. Nic asks if this means Yaz has escaped, but Andrew says they know where she lives and works in the US.
ANDREW: We'll get the local authorities to make the arrest.
NICOLETTE: ... Right. And what'll they charge her with?
ANDREW: At worst, attempted murder.
Andrew has to head to the hospital to take a statement from Max, but tells Nicolette to let him know if she hears from Yaz. Nic insists that won't happen. But the moment he's walked off, she takes her phone out and begins to type a message to Yaz: 'The police could be waiting for you in LA...'
But Nic's forced to put her phone away as Andrew turns back and adds...
ANDREW: If you get a chance, can you check in on Holly? (...) She will need her friends around her.
Nic says she will. Andrew leaves for real this time, and Nic reopens her phone. Thinking better of messaging Yaz, she deletes the half- written message.
Lassiter's Lake
Leo, Krista and Abigail are having their picnic. Abi is rather disgusted at something Krista is attempting to give her to eat! (Possibly a salmon blini?) Krista gushes about what a perfect day it's been, and Leo kisses her. Krista asks Abi what she wants to do next today.
ABIGAIL: GO TO THE AQUARIUM!!!
Krista enthuses about this and suggests they go to the movies afterwards, which appears to meet with Abi's approval too. Leo admits he can't believe Abi is going to be starting school in a few days. Conversation moves onto wedding planning, and Krista asks Abi if she wants to be a flower girl at the wedding. Abi seems very keen. Nearby, Seb is lurking unseen behind some bushes. He looks annoyed that Krista is having such a nice time with Leo.

Jane, Terese and Nicolette are having a cuppa and catchup. Jane and Terese sympathise with Nic about Yaz having skipped town given they'd become so close.
NICOLETTE: We had a bit of fun, that's all.
JANE: Just fun?
NICOLETTE: Yep. Look, if you want to worry about someone, you should worry about Holly.
Terese agrees, and says she's going over to check on Holly now. Just then, Jane's phone makes a noise, and Nicolette tells Terese that it's an alert on her new dating app, much to Jane's annoyance! Jane admits she's been getting various matches, but doesn't want to look at her messages right now after everything that's happened. Terese is keen to have a look at the person Jane's talking to, but Jane admits she hasn't even seen his face.
TERESE: Oh! That's brave!
JANE: Well, I know that he is a renaissance man, and... and we're just gonna focus on shared interests.
NICOLETTE: But what if you meet him and you don't fancy him, Mum?
JANE: Well, I know that he loves jigsaws, and...
NICOLETTE: Jigsaws?
JANE: And that he knows the entire filmography of Vivien Leigh. So at least we'll have plenty to talk about.
Keen to cut short the conversation, Jane urges Terese to go and check on Holly. Terese is just leaving when Jane gets another message, so Terese comes back, keen for a glance!
JANE: Go!
Terese leaves.
NICOLETTE: Did he send you a nude or something?
JANE: No! No, of course not! No, he wants to meet.
NICOLETTE: That's exciting, right?
JANE: Oh, I think it's too soon. We're only just starting to get to know each other.
NICOLETTE: Oh, well, you can't wait too long. What are you gonna do - talk to him for weeks, get invested, and then meet him and realise you don't want to snog his face off?
Jane looks thoughtful!

Holly is in the garden, and is about to go to visit Max at the hospital when Terese arrives. Terese is keen to hear how Holly is going first, explaining that Karl and Susan are really worried about her.
HOLLY: I told them I'm fine.
TERESE: I know, but I think they wish they were here for you.
HOLLY: Dad can't even get out of bed. He needs to focus on his recovery.
Holly tries to leave, but Terese senses she's struggling and asks if she's sure she's okay. Holly shakes her head and starts to cry.
HOLLY: I don't understand how this keeps happening to me. It's like there's always somebody who wants to hurt me. I can't take it anymore.
Terese gives her a hug.

Jane is doing a crossword, determined not to look at her phone. But she eventually succumbs, and messages her potential suitor back, asking him where he'd like to meet. She flinches with excitement as the phone makes a noise to signal that the message has been sent - there's no going back now!
Erinsborough Hospital
Holly is apologising to Max for the fact he got hurt, and says it should have been her.
MAX: Looks like fate chose me this time around.
HOLLY: No, literally - it should've been me. It wasn't an accident; I was supposed to be the victim.
MAX: What? Why would you think that?
Holly explains about Yaz being the older sister of Heath, the guy who left Holly for dead in the outback. Still putting the pieces together, Holly recalls how Yaz once asked if she blamed herself for Heath's death - and how she'd woken up hearing Heath's voice echoing through the house. She'd assumed it was all in her head, but...
HOLLY: It was so real... Do you think there could be another explanation, now we know she was out to get me?
MAX: Honestly, at this stage, anything's possible.
Holly glances down sympathetically at Max's bandaged hands.
HOLLY: Max, I keep putting people in hospital. First Cara, now you. I'm really dangerous to be around.
MAX: No, it's not your fault. Honestly, you don't deserve this. And anyone out there who's trying to hurt you - they'll get what's coming to them.

Jane is preening herself in the mirror in preparation for her date. Nicolette emerges.
NICOLETTE: Oh, woah! Look at my hot mum!
Jane admits she has a date with Renaissance Man at the Waterhole, but has doubts about whether she should really go, especially with everything that's going on. But Nicolette isn't having a word of it, and physically drags Jane towards the front door!
NICOLETTE: Come on, Mum - you're going, and you're gonna have fun. Go forth and date, Mother. I command thee.
JANE: You're sure I'm not gonna regret it?
NICOLETTE: Not in the slightest! Just promise me one thing, okay?
JANE: What's that, darling?
NICOLETTE: Well, you have to use protection.
JANE: What?!
NICOLETTE: Promise me. I think Byron actually has some!
JANE: Nicolette, I can guarantee, that is the last thing that I could possibly...
But Nic has already slammed the door shut behind Jane!
JANE: ... need.
With no other choice but to go on her way, Jane sets off!
Erinsborough Hospital
Andrew is taking a statement from Max about the electrocution incident. We learn Yaz hasn't been arrested yet, and Max asks if Andrew's 100 percent sure she's the one behind it. Andrew says he's as sure as he can be that Holly was the target, but he notices that Max doesn't seem entirely reassured; and Max asks again if it could have been anyone else.
ANDREW: Like who?
MAX: Uh... no - no one. Umm... I just want to be sure, for Holly's sake, you know?
ANDREW: Alright - can we have a straight conversation, please?
MAX: What?
ANDREW: What aren't you telling me? You acted odd after the hit on Sebastian; now you're doing it again.
MAX (tense): No, it's nothing. I, umm...
ANDREW: You live with my daughter, so I have every right to know what's up with you. Try me. I might be able to help.
MAX: I've just had two near- death experiences. Can you blame me for being a bit stressed? I actually have no idea what you're talking about.
Andrew doesn't look altogether convinced, but drops it for the time being.

Holly is sitting staring at some audio equipment she's found in the house when Nicolette knocks at the door. Holly lets her in, and explains about the night she heard Heath's voice in the house. It's the first Nic has heard of it.
HOLLY: I thought I was going crazy, but now I realise I wasn't. Yaz came over... I reckon she purposefully got me drunk so that I would talk about him (...) I heard the voice coming from the living room. I remembered that Yaz had all this audio equipment from Lights Up. This was one of the connections - I double- checked online. She must've set the whole thing up and left this behind.
NICOLETTE: That's... pretty out there.
HOLLY: Not as out there as her thinking that I murdered Heath in cold blood.
NICOLETTE: ... Maybe Heath said or did something to make Yaz think that.
HOLLY: But he never mentioned having a sister.
NICOLETTE: Yeah, they were estranged when he died, I think. I never knew his name. She would only ever mention her 'brother'.
HOLLY: Did she say anything else that might be relevant? Like, why she might blame me?
NICOLETTE: I'm sorry. She never wanted to talk about it, so I'm surprised that she told me as much as she did.
HOLLY: It's alright. I mean, we're both victims of her, right?
NICOLETTE: ...
HOLLY: She won't get away. I'm not gonna let her.
Nic looks worried...
Lassiter's Complex
Krista, Leo and Abi are on the way back from their trip to the aquarium, and talking about the seahorses and turtles.
KRISTA: And those sharks were pretty stealthy, huh? Reminded me of Yaz.
Seb turns up, much to Leo's dismay, and asks how their picnic was. Krista tells him about the aquarium and says they're now headed to the movies. But Seb asks if Krista could help him with something before she goes; Nicolette has asked him to pick up and move some stock at the café, he says, but isn't sure he can do it alone because of his arm. Leo seems sceptical.
LEO: Nic knows you're recovering from the hit and run, right? I'm sure she wouldn't ask you to shift anything if it was heavy.
KRISTA: Yeah, that's true. If she's asking too much of you, I can talk to her.
His ruse foiled by Leo, Seb says there's no need; he's sure he'll be able to figure it out by himself. Krista, Leo and Abi head off to the movie, leaving Seb looking annoyed.
The Waterhole
Jane is sitting alone at a table, waiting for her date to show up. A younger man appears and greets her.
JANE: Oh, I'm sorry, that seat's taken.
MAN: Oh - by me, I hope?
JANE: Uh, no - no, I'm meeting someone.
MAN: Uh, I think that someone is me.
JANE: No, I'm quite sure that it's not!
MAN: (...) But you did say blue dress, blonde hair - and I told you brown hair, brown eyes...
JANE: ...
MAN: Let's try this. Hi, Jane. I'm Clint. It's a pleasure to meet you.
Jane looks like she's in shock as she shakes Clint's hand!

Seb is alone, and pacing up and down frustratedly. He glares angrily at framed photos of Leo and Krista. Then he walks over to his bedroom door, positions his arm between the door and frame, and then slams the door against his arm hard, seemingly to injure himself. He gasps in pain - then makes a phone call.
SEBASTIAN (gasping): Hi, Krusty... I've done something stupid. I need your help.
