Outside No.22
Paul isn't very happy at being "exiled" but Terese says Nell needs time to adjust. He agrees. Terese assures him that they'll still see each other, just not in Ramsay Street.

Lassiter's Complex
Yaz is on the phone to someone insisting that Holly is guilty.

Nicolette sees her and comes over, pleased that she is back. They kiss.

YAZ: I really would love to find a reason to stay in Erinsboro.
NICOLETTE: Well then, you should stay. Or is this situation with your brother throwing you back?
YAZ: I can't get it off my mind.
NICOLETTE: I wish you'd tell me more about it.
YAZ: I want to.

Nicolette invites her to meet up for brunch tomorrow. Also, if Yaz wants to meet Isla, they can do that too.

NICOLETTE: Oh, by the way, it's Erins- bor- ough.
YAZ: Erins- borough.
NICOLETTE: Ah, there we go! My Australian bab!

(Later)

Holly has been setting up for the Lights Up event. Terese brings the last photos from Eirini Rising for the reel.

When Terese has gone, Holly says she's just been reminded of an exercise her counsellor suggested.

Aaron and Kendall come over saying they're all set for the tech run.

Waterhole
Nell and Terese are having dinner. Paul passes by, but doesn't join them. Terese explains that Paul is giving them some space.

Paul sits alone at the bar.

Harold's Cafe
Nicolette tells Aaron excitedly that she and Yaz are back on. Aaron is dubious - Yaz has been acting a bit strangely and he doesn't want her to get hurt.

Nicolette explains that Yaz is upset because her brother's death may not have been an accident.

At a table, Sadie, Byron and Holly are thinking of a new name for the garage - like "Max's Motors". Max says they're going to stick with "Fitzgerald Motors" as it's well known locally.

Holly tells them that she's going to get an early night - there's something she wants to do first thing in the morning.

Ramsay Street, the following morning
Yaz walks up Ramsay Street to No.24.

Garden of No.28
Holly is having a bonfire of past boyfriends!

She places a picture of Eden into the flames.

HOLLY: Goodbye, Eden. Hope you choke on your prison porridge.

Yaz arrives (she saw the smoke) and Holly explains that she's doing a "purging ritual"(!)

Next up is Heath.

HOLLY: Don't worry, this is me reclaiming my power, I'm not spirralling. Goodbye, Heath. I never have to think of you again.

She places Heath into the flames and Yaz is a bit overcome.

No.30
Sadie, Byron and Max are looking for accommodation for Vera.

Vera comes in feeling very sorry for herself, having had no luck finding accommodation. She feels very rejected.

They show her the new places they've found and she finds reasons to reject them all.

No.24
Nicolette is explaining to Isla that Yaz is very nice but she's a bit sad. They have a cute conversation about shoes.

Ramsay Street
Yaz is outside No.24 looking lost. Aaron passes by. She thrusts a box of pastries on him and flees.

No.24
Aaron turns up with the pastries looking confused.

Waterhole
Paul greets Nell and Terese. Terese tells him quietly that she really wants to get things right with Nell and she needs more space. She suggests that he stops by Eirini Rising to see her later. He does not look impressed.

Lassiter's Lake
Max, Byron and Sadie are wondering what to do with Vera.

MAX: We need to find her a place where she can hang out with other people and feel like she's got a community, but still have privacy.
BYRON: It has to have a pool, be in the right suburb, can't have sticky floors, it's got to have less than seven cats, more than...

Sadie has seen the Eirini Rising minibus and gets an idea.

SADIE: I just found the perfect solution to our Vera problem!

Yaz's hotel room
Yaz comes in. She has three missed calls from Nicolette.

She opens a bag and inside is an urn containing Heath's ashes. (Apparently recovered from the crocodile?!)

She cries, then gets up and angrily throws some things around.

Waterhole
Aaron and Isla come in and see Paul. Aaron tells Paul that Nicolette is on the warpath.

Aaron tells Paul that he's working with Yaz on the Lights Up even later. He tells him about the Nell situation. Aaron says that Nell had form - she did try to split up Terese and Toadie at one point.

Outside the hotel
Yaz sees Nicolette and apologises for missing the brunch.

NICOLETTE: Apparently you were standing on the street, Yaz. Was it really that hard to take a few more steps and come inside? I told Isla all about you, so that's the second time you've bailed on her. It's not okay.
YAZ: I wanted to spend time with her, too. I...
NICOLETTE: I know that you have a lot going on and I've tried to be understanding.
YAZ: You have.
NICOLETTE: You keep giving me mixed signals, though. And I'm not the girl who chases someone who's putting in half the effort. I got my hopes up.
YAZ: I owe you an explanation. Can we please just go somewhere quiet and talk? I've never met anyone like you. I can't explain it.
NICOLETTE: Yaz, that's so nice to hear, but it makes everything more sad and confusing. I think you need to go home and sort out this stuff with your brother.
YAZ: You won't let me explain?
NICOLETTE: I know I'm sounding cold, but I can't just think about myself, I have to think about Isla.

Yaz nods and wipes away a tear.

NICOLETTE: I wish you all the best. But I cannot keep doing this with you.

She walks away.

Across the complex, she sees Holly and tells her that she and Yaz have split up.

Waterhole
Holly sees Aaron and tells him that things are "off" between Yaz and Nicolette. She probes Aaron for detail and he says there's something going on back at home for Yaz which is causing mood swings.

Aaron tells Holly to call Steph Scully - she has some questions about the Flametree.

Outisde
Yaz is on the phone to the police trying to get them to re- open the case into Heath.

YAZ: So you're telling me that my brother's death meant nothing?!

She hangs up the phone. Kendall comes over and tells her that they're one transformer short which makes Lights Up a death trap unless they pull one of the installations. Yaz takes the broken transformer off her and says she'll handle it.

No.30
Vera tells them that she's got another interview for a house- share.

SADIE: Actually, Vera, we've had a bit of a brainwave today.
BYRON: Yeah, we were thinking about all your must- haves - you want a pool, outdoor space...
MAX: Being around people of your own age so you can be social and stay busy...
VERA: Well, don't keep me in suspenders. Stop teasing, spill the beans.
SADIE: We realised the solution was under our noses the entire time. Eirini Rising!
VERA:(angry) That is the worst idea I've ever heard. Not to mention insulting. How old do you think I am?!
SADIE: No, no, no, we're not saying that you're old.
BYRON: And we checked for the minimum age for residents, it's fifty- five, that's young, Vera!
MAX: Super- young!
SADIE: Yeah!
VERA: Don't try to dress it up! It's an old people's home! You're trying to put me out to pasture. Well, let me tell you, there's plenty of life in me yet!
MAX: Vera, no- one's trying to put you out to pasture.
VERA: I will be handling the search on my own from now on, thank you very much. Now I'm off to Zumba with other young, vital people who have their own teeth and hips and can still drive at night!

She stalks out.

Lassiter's Complex
It's getting dark and some of the lights are on for the Lights Up event. Holly sees Yaz and goes over to her. She tells her that she knows she's been having some family problems, and maybe she should do a pruging ritual as well(!) She gives her a lighter!

YAZ: If anything happens with our lights in the main installation hub, I need you to swap out the transformer for this one.

She holds up the faulty transformer.

HOLLY: Shouldn't Kendall...?
YAZ: Kendall's tied up. You can handle it.
HOLLY: Yep...more responsibility, I love it.
YAZ: It's the perfect reward for everything that you've done.

In the background, Paul presses a switch and the rest of the lights come on.

HOLLY: I won't let you down. I promise.

Yaz just looks at her, ominously.
