702 Eclipse Apartments
Krista is helping Sebastian into a chair when Leo comes in. He forces a smile, and Krista goes to get Seb's room ready for him to move back in. Seb is seemingly still in a lot of pain, and says he's overdue his painkillers - Leo goes to get them for him.

SEBASTIAN: Thanks so much for being so cool with me being here, man.
LEO: (unenthusiastic smile)
SEBASTIAN: I don't usually trust myself doing this kind of thing solo, but... having Krusty around really helps.
LEO: Yeah, well, your friendship means a lot to her, so...
SEBASTIAN: I'm not gonna throw it away this time.

Leo doesn't say anything - just pours Seb some water to take his pills with.

Byron, Sadie and Max are all at home as Vera prepares to head out. She's going to view a bungalow out the back of a house in Preston as a potential new home.

SADIE: You're leaving?
BYRON: Vera, you can't. If this is about what we said on Christmas Eve - look, we are all so sorry.
VERA: Look, you didn't say anything that wasn't true.
SADIE: But this is your house.
VERA: And I'm trading it in for one that suits me better. The main house has people my own age, and the bungalow has an uninterrupted view of a hot yoga studio!

Max wishes Vera luck as she heads out. On the sofa, Byron and Sadie feel guilty.

No 28
In the garden, Holly is looking at the bottle of Scent by Zelda that she believes Heath bought for her. Sadie turns up to borrow some ingredients as the housemates are making dinner for Vera. She sees Holly hide the perfume bottle.

SADIE: Why do you have Heath's creepy perfume? I thought you said you got rid of it.
HOLLY: I'm going to. It's just complicated.
SADIE: Well, not for me.

Sadie grabs the bottle and is about to tip it out onto the lawn, but Holly stops her.

SADIE: You don't owe him anything, Holly!
HOLLY: I know that, but you can't waste a bottle of Scent by Zelda!
SADIE: It's perfume.
HOLLY: it's exclusive, okay? I was gonna list it online. I'll just... I'll donate it.

Holly says she has to be at the Complex early tomorrow for work, so promises that she will take it to the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation then.

SADIE: Good. You've let Heath mess with your head enough already. It's time to leave him behind.

Holly nods in agreement.

702 Eclipse Apartments
Seb is listening from his bedroom as Krista and Leo talk about him, and the challenges to come once he's off his pain medication. He comes to the door.

SEBASTIAN: Anything you need to say, I can take it.
LEO: Maybe you should check into a clinic when you're off the painkillers.
KRISTA: That's a great idea.
SEBASTIAN: Clinic? You mean, rehab?
KRISTA: It's not a dirty word, Seb.
SEBASTIAN: Yeah, but it is an expensive one.
KRISTA: Okay, well, you don't have to worry about that.
LEO: Krista got a whole lot out of rehab when she was going through her recovery.
KRISTA: Yeah. The support that I got from my mentors there, it was incredible. And I wouldn't be where I am today without their help. In control of my life... engaged to a wonderful man...

Seb looks unenthused as Krista and Leo paw at each other.

SEBASTIAN: Yeah, all you need is a white picket fence!
KRISTA: You can turn your life around too, Seb. And if you're serious about making a change, then...
SEBASTIAN: Yeah, I am... I'll think about it.

Seb heads back to his room, and closes the door. But he can still hear what Leo and Krista are saying next door. Leo asks if it was okay that he made the suggestion of rehab. Krista says of course; she should have suggested it herself. Seb looks unkeen.

No 32
Holly has joined Byron, Sadie and Max to prepare dinner. Vera comes in, grumbling about her bungalow viewing. Apparently there were a lot of other applicants.

SADIE: Well, how did you get along with the actual housemates?
VERA: No idea! I waited hours for some old duck in a designer pantsuit and a bottle of pinot noir to get the place before I could get near 'em. I thought I was gonna have a nice cuppa with people I had something in common with. Not auditioning for the Golden bloody Bachelor!

Despondent by how it's gone, Vera's decided to cancel another viewing she has lined up for tomorrow - but Holly suggests that instead she could find a way to make her prospective housemates sit up and notice her.

SADIE: That's a great idea. I can make you look way better than the pantsuit lady.
VERA: You think so?
SADIE: Absolutely! We are gonna help you find a great new place.
VERA (buoyed): Thanks, kids!

702 Eclipse Apartments
The next day, Krista asks Seb if he's given any more thought to the idea of going to rehab. Seb says he doesn't think it would be right for him. Krista says they haven't been through the exact same thing, but nonetheless she thinks he needs the rehab.

SEBASTIAN: What I need is you. Someone who's been through it and come out the other end. You did offer to help.
KRISTA: I did.
SEBASTIAN: Now you're shipping me off to rehab... is this because of Leo?
KRISTA: ... He's my fiancé. And I want to do what's right for everyone. It's not surprising that he's uncomfortable with you being here, given everything that happened.
SEBASTIAN: Well, then, give me a chance to prove to him that he doesn't need to be. You're doing for me what David did for you - that's got to mean something to Leo.
KRISTA: Yeah. Okay. I'll talk to him.
SEBASTIAN: Thank you. And then, when I'm back on my feet, I've got to figure out who I am when I'm not the guy who's getting the party started, and doesn't leave till the lights come on.
KRISTA: That's easy. You're the guy who smuggled chocolate mousse into my room at the boardo when my entire family forgot my sixteenth birthday.
SEBASTIAN: Yeah, but we were kids then.
KRISTA: And you're also the guy who stayed back with me at the hostel in Ibiza when I got food poisoning. Hello, you gave up a party on the beach to stay back and feed me dry crackers, and watch dodgy old DVDs. Look, none of my favourite memories of you have anything to do with Partying™, Seb. They never did.

He looks emotional as they hold hands.

KRISTA: And however you choose to tackle this next phase... I'm with you.

He nods and smiles.

Lassiter's Complex
Holly joins Aaron, having just donated the Scent by Zelda perfume to the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation shop, where it's now on sale for a 'criminally low price'. But at least Heath will never haunt her again, she says. Talk moves on to the equipment delivery for the Lights Up event, which we learn Yasmine has put Holly in charge of handling. Holly hopes it might be a sign that Yaz has a job in mind for Holly back in the USA.

AARON: Would you be up for something like that?
HOLLY: Well, yeah, I could be! I mean, the world's my oyster. But I have to impress her here first.

No 32
Sadie is doing Vera's make- up ahead of her next house viewing, while throwing her some practice questions that her prospective housemates might ask her. Sadie's phone is ringing, but she doesn't seem keen on answering it.

SADIE: It'll just be Dad again.
VERA: You know, it's probably normal for parents to worry about their kids after they've been mowed down by a car.

But Sadie dodges the conversation, keen to focus on Vera's houseshare interview instead.

SADIE (practice question): So, why would you like to live with us?
VERA: Because it's cheap and full of oldies.
SADIE: Vera, that is a bit too honest for a first interview (...) You want to make a good first impression.
VERA: That's what the gladrags and brownies are for! How are me bribes coming along, boys?

We pan over to the kitchen where Max and Byron are in aprons, doing something very precarious- looking with a bowl of brownie mix and bickering over it like a married couple!

Lassiter's Complex
Holly and Aaron are going through plans for Lights Up. Yaz's tech guru Kendall is apparently on her way from the airport. Holly tells Aaron about the 'state- of- the- art' transformers that they'll be using as part of the setup - the system won't work without them, and Kendall is bringing them from the US herself.

HOLLY: Those things are exxy as.

Aaron is a bit overwhelmed by the technicalities of it all, but Holly tells him not to worry; configuring the tech is Kendall's job, and she's got it covered. All Aaron needs to do is ensure the equipment is delivered, checked off and stored in the Waterhole overnight. He agrees that that sounds easy enough.

Lassiter's Hotel
Leo greets Krista in reception and asks how Seb is doing. Krista explains that Seb has decided against rehab, and she can see his point of view.

KRISTA: He wants to be around someone who's had the same experience.
LEO: But there are plenty of trained counsellors in rehab.
KRISTA: Yeah... I'm like an inspiration to him, right? And the one- on- one attention - I mean... I can be to him what David was to me. I dunno, maybe it's my way of paying it forward.
LEO: Yeah, I just... I don't want him to come between us again.
KRISTA: He won't. For what it's worth, he can see why you would have a problem with it. And he said that he's determined to prove himself to you.
LEO: Right.
KRISTA: Thank you for trusting me on this.
LEO: I trust you on everything.
KRISTA: And I trust you, husband- to- be.
LEO: Well, now you mention it, wife- to- be, I need your opinion on something.

He explains he's been thinking about their wedding reception - Krista assumed they'd have it at Yorokobi, but Leo doesn't want to feel like he's at work on their special day. (When is he ever at work?!) Instead, he was thinking of a little restaurant down on the river that Krista likes. He suggests they go there together later to try out a tasting menu. Krista seems keen on this idea, and kisses him.

Lassiter's Complex
Aaron and Holly are hanging around when Yaz's tech person, Kendall, turns up and introduces herself. Kendall says she's been scoping out the Complex ahead of Lights Up - it'll be a complicated build 'but the fun ones always are'.

AARON: So, have we got these famous transformers?
KENDALL: Oh, those are too important to risk in a cab (...) I have a courier bringing them over from the airport.

Holly looks like she has caught a whiff of a familiar scent, and is distracted as she explains that they won't be closing down the Complex to do the build, but rather will do the rigging in sections.

HOLLY: I'm so sorry - are you wearing Scent by Zelda?
KENDALL: You have a good nose! Found a bottle for an absolute steal at that little thrift store over there.
HOLLY: Wow!

They all start to laugh, but Holly's laugh is rather manic, and keeps going longer than is socially appropriate; evidently she's been spooked by the resurgence of the perfume!

AARON: Holly, are you okay?
KENDALL: What's so funny?

But Holly's laughter has evolved into hyperventilation...

HOLLY: It's just typical... I'm sorry...

Holly rushes off, leaving Kendall and Aaron looking confused.

Sadie declares herself impressed after she conducts a taste- test of Byron and Max's brownies. The boys high- five.

BYRON: But you could try sounding a little less surprised.
SADIE: You two should bake for the house more often.
MAX: Come on, let's not get too carried away.

Vera comes in in her 'gladrags' and the gang are all very impressed at how glamorous she looks.

BYRON: Vera Punt, you are looking hot to trot.
VERA: Oh, thank you, darling.

Sadie tests Vera with a couple more practice questions, and Vera seems to have some pre- learned answers ready to roll - so Sadie presents her with the box of brownies and declares her ready for her interview. Vera heads out looking confident.

BYRON (to Sadie): You did a really good thing there.

Lassiter's Complex
The very important transformers have been delivered in a van, and are now piled up in the courtyard. Kendall is asking a few probing questions of Aaron, and quickly ascertains that he's not a real lighting tech and only has limited experience in the past. Kendall looks unimpressed, and is seemingly about to call Yaz.

KENDALL: Normally I wouldn't question Yaz's judgement, but between an amateur rigger and Holly pulling a Houdini...

Aaron says he knows this must be frustrating, but that Holly is amazing at her job, and that he is a hard worker and a fast learner. Kendall puts her phone away, and says he can start by getting Holly back on site - they're spread thinly enough as it is.

702 Eclipse Apartments
Seb is lying seemingly unconscious on the floor, and there are pills scattered around next to him. He twitches and begins to move as Krista comes in, having returned to get changed for her visit to the restaurant with Leo.

She rushes over to tend to Seb, who says he thinks he may have taken too many painkillers; he just wanted the pain to stop. Krista helps him onto the sofa and counts the remaining pills, deciding he can't have taken that many. She goes to get him some water.

SEBASTIAN: I'm so sorry about all this. The pain's messing with me. And I've had way too much time to think.
KRISTA: About what?
SEBASTIAN: About how amazingly successful my life's been. I haven't held a job for longer than two months since high school - that's got to be some kind of skill.

Krista reassures him that she hadn't either until Lassiter's, and it's not as if she even earned the position. Feeling very sorry for himself, Seb says that even if someone gave him a chance like that, he'd probably waste it.

SEBASTIAN: I'm not good at anything except using people. It's like my whole life is pointless.
KRISTA: Hey - okay, I know you feel really lost right now, but it won't always be like that. I promise.

They're holding hands again.

SEBASTIAN: Can I get that in writing?

Krista declares she's going to order them some pizza, while Seb puts on some trashy sitcoms.

SEBASTIAN: But you have a date.
KRISTA: Well, you shouldn't be alone right now, okay?

Krista calls Leo to break the news...

Lassiter's Hotel / 702 Eclipse Apartments
In the foyer, Leo is ready to head to the restaurant and answers Krista's call. She tells him she needs to reschedule; Seb's had a tough day and 'it could go one of two ways'. Leo looks annoyed, but suppresses it and tells Krista it's fine; they have plenty of time to plan the wedding. She tells him she loves him, and Leo reciprocates, then ends the call. Despondently, he gets back in the lift and returns to the penthouse.

No 32
Vera returns with an empty brownie box, and Max, Sadie and Byron all ask her how her interview went. But Vera says she messed it up - she forgot all her pre- rehearsed answers and spoke her mind!

VERA: Turns out they like everything about me but *me*.
MAX: And they ate all your brownies?
VERA: No, that was me. It was a long trip back, love.
SADIE: We're so sorry, Vera.
VERA: Oh, don't be. I wouldn't want to live with those airheads anyway.
BYRON: Vera, just... just stay here, okay? Honestly, we would love you to.

The others nod, but...

VERA: As gorgeous as you three are, I need to get out there and find my own people. It looks like it's just gonna take me a little longer to find them than I thought.

She retrieves a final brownie from her purse and bites into it, before asking what's for dinner!

Lassiter's Complex
Aaron is loading the boxes containing the very important transformers onto a trolley to take into the pub, as Holly returns. She apologises for her meltdown earlier. Aaron warns Holly that Kendall is 'one hiccup away' from calling Yaz and having both of them replaced. Holly declares she'll help Aaron take the transformers to the pub and then buy him a big dinner to say thank you for holding the fort.

However, as Holly begins to move the trolley, it tips forward and its contents - the very important transformers - fall straight into the pond! Lest we were in any doubt, we close in one the boxes with the word 'TRANSFORMER' written on them! Holly and Aaron look very worried indeed and rush to try and retrieve them...
