Number 30
JJ is thrilled to see his mum arrive home, but Dex isn't there to welcome her as he's finding it hard to deal with the accident. Cara finds herself being reminded that she's just out of hospital after major surgery (she got let home early given who her wife is) when she wants to immediately resume the projects she had on the go at the house. Remi isn't too pleased but eventually concedes into letting Cara cook dinner instead.
Harolds café
Terese, Paul, Karl and Susan debate whether the legal advice Moira got is correct or not. While Terese plans on calling her lawyer, Karl thinks it contesting it might make the residents angrier. Paul is insistent that she contacts her lawyers to seek their advice.
Number 30
Cara can't resist checking her projects out much to Remi's annoyance. Remi lays the risks out to her by not recuperating and suggests a distraction would be to use Cara's downtime into researching sperm donors.
The Waterhole (beer garden)
Over drinks, Shane and Jane discuss their recent relationships including the time they dated, whilst from the other side of the beer garden, a very curious Max and Nicolette observe the cosiness wondering if their parents are "getting it on."
Number 30
Cara is on the hunt for her hidden treats in one of the upper cabinets in the kitchen. When she finally finds it, she's overdone the stretching and groans. JJ picks up on the noise she made and after reassuring him that she's fine, Cara puts it down to "a little twinge" but when he leaves the kitchen, you can see that Cara is in a bit of discomfort.
Number 22
Turns out the advice Tim gave was correct, Terese has to fix any safety concerns of the residents or refund their money. She is also peeved that it was Toadie who did the wording for the contracts too! Paul suggests that she turfs Moira "and her agitating cronies" out and he'd happily volunteer his services to do that!
TERESE: I don't belong there anymore. And we're not punishing Moira for something I did to myself.
The Waterhole (beer garden)
Minus the watching kids, Shane and Jane wonder what if things had been different back in the day and they'd stayed with each other.
SHANE: I might have liked being married to a superbrain!
The pair seem to be becoming very close to one another, helped by holding each other's hands, when Karl's arrival kills the mood - he's looking on advice over whether to cancel his Italian bike trip or not.
Number 28 (next day)
After finalising their 'to do' list, Karl informs Susan that he's going to cancel his Italian trip but she tells him not to be too hasty just yet.
The garage
With Max all set up with a home and job, Shane feels his time is up in Erinsborough although does ask Paul to keep an eye on the lad after he goes. Paul is going to miss his old mate and the pair share a hug just in case Paul doesn't see Shane before leaving.
Heading into the garage, Shane wants Max to show him the operating procedures at the garage but the lad would rather know more of what happened at The Waterhole!
Number 24
Nicolette is doing her best to convince her mum that there was sparks between her and Shane last night. Jane isn't in the mood yet for another relationship after what happened with Vic, despite Nicolette's claim that Jane fancies Shane!
The garage
Max seems delighted to have witness his dad give Jane "the old Ramsay charm" but then admits to being surprised at his dad going after someone like Jane - someone "straight- laced" and "way smarter" than his dad. Shane reminds his lad of the adage of "not judging a book by its cover" especially one belonging to Jane!
Number 24
Jane concedes she did flirt with Shane, aided by alcohol and nostalgia but is relived that things didn't progress although Nicolette doesn't believe a word her mum is saying!
Number 30
Cara puts on a brave face and hides the fact she is in pain, when Susan (and JJ/Remi) join her in the living room for a cuppa. However while they chat about Terese/Eirini Rising, Cara removes herself to the kitchen on the pretence of getting a glass of water, to cover up the fact she is in pain, and whilst there takes some painkillers.
Number 22
Paul isn't willing to let Terese get depressed, he's got a day of activities lined up to distract her with. First is playing chess while she off loads to him, then it's a break room where she can use a baseball bat to take her frustration and negative energy out followed by a stone massage to recover! "It doesn't sound awful," she concedes before they begin to play chess.
Beginning the unloading, she bemoans the fact of putting all she had into Eirini failing where instead of loving what she is doing, the senior citizens now hate her and so she contemplates cutting her losses and selling up.
Number 30
Cara manages to hide the fact she is in pain as she and Remi begin their donor research.
Number 24
Once they finish coffee, Shane has a sudden memory flash of Charlene and Jane rehearsing their cheerleading in the living room of the house. Jane compliments him on his memory and the pair start to pussyfoot around each other waiting for someone to make a move.
JANE: Are we having a vibe?
SHANE: I don't what to have tickets on myself, Jane Harris, but it does seem like it!
Jane is relived she isn't imagining it although seems sure neither of them "would do anything." "Of course not," Shane replies back!
Number 22
Terese is like a changed woman after her date with the baseball bat and smashing things up and the massage that followed. She begrudgingly thanks Paul for helping her put things in perspective and has decided its too early to sell Eirini Rising. Paul does remind Terese that she should be proud of what she has achieved even if she does sell up. Terese turns down the offer of spending more time together as she's got a counselling session and something to do…
Number 28
… which is handing over her Eirini Rising keys to Susan. Susan acknowledges how difficult it was for Terese to hand over the keys and is sorry over what has happened. Karl promises they will take good care of Eirini and agrees with Susan that they can handle being "tainted" for being associated with Terese.
Susan now thinks it might be best if Karl does go away to help calm things down with the residents and is confident that their stance towards Terese will soften in time. "I won't pin my hopes on it," Terese says in reply to that.
SUSAN: You're handing this with so much grace.
TERESE: Well, I'm trying.
However while Terese had on the happy smile when saying that reply to Susan, when they hug her face tells a different story.
Number 24
Max has had an accident at work and is after Nicolette to sort him out with the aid of Jane's epic first aid kit. She heads into the bedroom area but barely seconds later she rushes back out horrified with what she's seen… that would be Shane and Jane in the aftermath of an 'afternoon delight'!!! The scantily dressed pair quickly rush into the living room where Shane spots that Max is also present.
SHANE: Whole gang's here… great!
Max can't but help comment that it looks like his dad came to town "for business and pleasure!"
SHANE: No apologies… right!
NICOLETTE: (in a praying stance) Please, just let this be the last time this happens to me!
JANE: Or you could just learn to knock!
