Erinsborough Hospital
Felix is in discomfort and tries to speak through the oxygen mask. Remi advises him not to speak due to the stab wound in his stomach. She gives instructions to another member of staff on how to treat Felix. She heads off as he thanks her.

Remi goes out of the room and collects herself. She catches Stevie and requests a consult. She tells Stevie that due to personal family reasons she can't treat Felix, Stevie agrees.

Harold's Café
Terese tells Nell that she and Toadie are talking today about her involvement after they leave the house.

NELL: I'm in no rush to leave.

Nell has to head off for a library study session. Terese congratulates Krista on her promotion. She says she's fine working with Paul, but Terese doesn't look so convinced!

Sadie tells Byron that things are awkward at home, and she rues telling Andrew about Quinn. She hasn't been successful in finding a job as she's not qualified.

BYRON: You need to approach it like an escort.
SADIE: Are you suggesting I become an escort?
BYRON: No! Confidence.

He shows her the Day Spa job at Lassiter's on his phone. They are looking for someone who is an all rounder and she has a Makeup Artist qualification.

BYRON: Fake it until you make it.

He advises her on how to stand confidently and sends her over to Krista. She enquires about the job; Krista is wondering why Sadie is standing so awkwardly! Sadie brushes it off. Krista is surprised Sadie hasn't applied before now.

SADIE: Crossing my I's, dotting my T's.
KRISTA: Come and find me for a chat.

Sadie and Byron are both happy with this outcome!

Lassiter's Complex
Dex invites JJ to shoot some hoops. JJ has a study session planned, and watches Nell walk across the complex. Toadie tells him he plans to take them out for dinner to a great pizza place. Nell wants to check in with Terese who will be by herself. Toadie half heartedly agrees, Nell wants to know what's going on. Toadie reminds Nell that Rhonda told Nell that Nell's responsibility isn't Terese.

NELL: She doesn't have anyone else.

Nell heads off whilst Toadie looks thoughtful.

Lassiter's Reception
Sadie tells Krista she specialises in makeup but is fine with glow- up. That's fine with Krista as they offer makeup services. Sadie is happy to be trained in diversifying. Krista offers to pay for the training, Sadie realises she's being offered the job.

KRISTA: You had me at glow- up.

Krista agrees to a trial. Leo arrives and Sadie excitedly shares her news. Leo congratulates her. Sadie heads off excitedly to tell others.

Erinsborough Hospital
Remi is watching Felix through the window. She rings Cara to tell her what's happened.

No.26 Backyard
Andrew and Wendy arrive in a hurry as Sadie is setting out food. They worried something was wrong as Sadie sounded urgent in her message. She's not impressed about the gorgonzola. She is treating them.

SADIE: I don't know anyone in the world who can stand this much grossness.
ANDREW: The whole of Italy would disagree with you.

Sadie thinks they're compatible as they both like this cheese. They get where she's unsubtly coming from! She quickly announces she got a new job and heads off before they can ask any questions.

Andrew and Wendy realise Sadie is feeling ‘misplaced guilt'. Wendy reminds him when she gave him mouldy brie that had been in the back of the fridge. He wasn't convinced it was accidental and really knew.

ANDREW: I didn't wanna embarrass you.
WENDY: You ate homemade penicillin for me?

She is touched by this gesture. Andrew gets a text from the Prison Warden about Felix. Wendy advises Andrew to ring the Police Station, and she'll contact the hospital.

Penthouse Suite
Leo suggests that Abby gives Sadie a character reference. Paul has arrived and is annoyed that Sadie has been hired without experience and not consulting him or the Day Spa Manager. She points out that Sadie is on trial. Paul isn't impressed, Krista points out that she is nearly qualified as a Makeup Artist. Krista is going to fund the extra training Sadie needs. Paul reminds her that hiring inexperienced staff isn't in their policy. Leo knows she's done a great job looking after Abby. Paul wanted to be consulted first! Krista doesn't want to check staff recruitments with each other. Paul doesn't agree after she hired Sadie.

KRISTA: I suggest you get on board because it's happening.

Paul leaves the room. Leo is impressed with how Krista handled the situation as she groans with frustration. She tells Leo she needs her own workspace if this is how Paul is going to behave when they're partners!

KRISTA: I can't share an office with him.

Lassiter's Complex
JJ and Dex are messing around with a basketball. Cara arrives and asks Remi how Felix is doing. Felix is in surgery and there might be complications.

CARA: It must've been a shock seeing him like that.

Felix couldn't speak as he was in lots of pain. Cara is wondering when they tell JJ.

REMI: What if the worst happens and JJ doesn't get to say goodbye again?

Remi admits there is a chance Felix won't pull through. Remi admits JJ might have confused feelings as she is as well.

CARA: Maybe it's better if we hold off.
REMI: Keeping secrets hasn't done well for us in the past. We gotta do things differently this time.

Cara calls JJ and Dex over to tell them what's happened.

Andrew comes off the phone and tells Wendy that Felix wasn't involved in the initial brawl but was helping a friend. Andrew doesn't deny he is doubtful about the truth of this and is going to call Cara and Remi. Wendy tells him that Remi was working when Felix arrived at the hospital. Felix is in surgery and has one of the best surgeons. Wendy offers to drive Andrew over to the hospital. Andrew hasn't changed his mind about seeing Felix so isn't going.

Lassiter's Complex
Remi has been talking to the hospital and Felix has come out of surgery. It looks like Felix will make it. They fixed Felix's bowel without causing complications. Remi tells JJ relatives are allowed to visit if JJ wishes. Felix wants to know if Felix will be awake, he will but woozy. JJ wants to see Felix, Remi agrees. Cara grits her teeth.

The Waterhole
Krista tells Aaron that she and Paul no longer have playful banter since they became partners in Lassiter's. Aaron is doubtful that ever happened!

KRISTA: He can be funny when he wants to be.

Aaron calls over Terese who has just arrived as Krista tries to stop him. Krista guesses what has happened since Paul and Krista became partners.

TERESE: He's being a pig- headed, self- righteous power- tripper with double standards?
KRISTA: That was really scary. Were you on the balcony at the Penthouse?
TERESE: Business is a game for Paul. You just need to get better at playing.

Krista doesn't want to battle to win Paul's respect after doing it once. Terese tells her that Paul will cause conflict if there isn't any. Terese advises her to enjoy sparring with Paul.

TERESE: It's the only strategy that works unfortunately. Paul can be a pain in the ass. But he's great in a crisis.

Krista agrees that Paul was supportive when she lost Hope. The Udagawas tried to get Terese sacked when she had cancer, but Paul fought her corner. Terese appreciates having Paul's support.

Erinsborough Hospital
Stevie advises someone on how to treat Felix. The Varga- Murphys arrive, Remi will sort things out. The rest of the family wait outside as JJ looks through the door at Felix. JJ hears Felix's voice in his head recounting what he said about not wanting to be a Dad or friend to JJ. JJ tells Remi he's changed his mind about visiting Felix. He doesn't think he should bother with Felix if he's not bothering with JJ. Remi knows JJ is just being his caring self. JJ decides to still head to the library.

The Waterhole
Andrew has been telling Byron and Sadie about what's happened to Felix. Byron offers Andrew a lift to the hospital, but he declines. Sadie is surprised as they're brothers. Wendy points out they never made a final decision about it. Byron offers to get some drinks.

ANDREW: Every time we let Felix back into our lives, it backfires.
WENDY: Going to see him in hospital isn't letting him back in.

Wendy points out that Felix was protecting another inmate. Andrew doesn't want to act too soon. He thinks Felix should have stayed out of it.

ANDREW: He's a train wreck. One hero move doesn't erase the past.

No.22
The front room is now the library! JJ tells Nell it was really strange seeing Felix lying in the hospital bed. Toadie arrives to pick up some work that Terese left for him. Nell hands it to him. He asks how JJ is doing after what happened to Felix, JJ is doing ok. Nell hints for Toadie to leave, Toadie asks for her to come to the door. Toadie has agreed for Haz and Mackenzie's wedding to take place at the Nursery before a tenant moves in.

NELL: That'll actually be a really nice way to say goodbye to the place.
TOADIE: I thought so too.

Toadie leaves, JJ wants to know if things are ok. Nell disagrees but tells him things are going to improve.

Harold's Café
Krista invites herself over for dinner. Leo thinks he should talk to Paul for his behaviour that morning. Krista wants to move past it. Paul is still going on about what happened with Sadie.

KRISTA: Terese made me realise that that's not such a bad thing.

Paul isn't romantically involved with anyone and is bored. Krista is just going to let things play out. Krista found it strange the way Terese spoke about Paul after what happened between them. Leo tells her Paul and Terese worked well professionally together.

KRISTA: It didn't sound 100% professional to me.

Leo reminds her Paul and Terese are over for good. Krista isn't so sure!

Penthouse Suite
Terese arrives to make Paul listen to her.

TERESE: You need to tone down the grumpy old man routine. It's way too predictable.

Paul pretends not to know what she's talking about! She doesn't want Paul to ‘crush' Krista's spirit which is exactly what Lassiter's needs. Paul thinks that Krista can handle his criticism, Terese agrees to a small amount.

TERESE: Not everyone wants to butt heads every minute. She's not me.
PAUL: She certainly is not.
TERESE: Go easy on her for Lassiter's sake. I still have a soft spot for it.

Paul refuses to promise something that he knows will be impossible for him to do. She trusts him and knows ‘promises are a sign of trust'. Terese gets in the lift; she and Paul still have a knowing look on their faces.

Lassiter's Lake
Wendy tells Sadie she feels things would have been less complicated if she hadn't gone to Uni. Sadie doesn't agree and thinks Andrew and Wendy will work things out. Felix is at the forefront at the moment. Andrew has made his mind up about it.

WENDY: Going to see Felix in the hospital doesn't mean he's off the hook.
SADIE: Maybe it's just too confronting for him.

Wendy knows Andrew is concerned about Felix deep down.

No.28
Toadie tells Andrew that inmates have requested legal representation, so the Warden called him. Andrew knew inmates were being charged.

ANDREW: It's easier in my line of work to block out what goes on in there. It's been harder since Felix went in.

Felix realised what would happen if he broke the law. Toadie gently reminds him that people don't always learn from their mistakes straightaway, but they still care. Felix created a distance from JJ by telling him he didn't want to be a Dad or a friend. Andrew knows that's not true. Andrew might have been able to sort things out with Felix if he hadn't endangered everyone's lives. He's not able to do that now.

Erinsborough Hospital
Felix groans in agony. He presses his button. The door opens.

FELIX: Didn't think I'd ever see you here.

The camera pans across to show Wendy at the door.
