- Levi continuing to ignore Freya
- Glen telling Terese that Kiri is his daughter
- Leo asking Glen if he's interested in Kiri
- Glen saying he's in love with Terese as a cover story
- Harlow breaking up with Corey because she's not over Ned
- Corey telling someone on the phone they need a "new plan" for Harlow
David chats with Toadie while he's trying to unlock the Rebecchi Law office. He tells Toad that he felt like Georgia was interrogating him yesterday, but Toadie insists it's the only way she'll be able to form a solid defence. David offers to hold Toadie's belongings while he struggles with the door. Harlow walks by and asks how David's faring, offering herself for babysitting duties or grocery shopping if he needs it. The three of them then notice Corey and Hendrix walking and talking together across the complex.
TOADIE: Hello, new boy hanging out with old boy. That's dangerous.
HARLOW: Well if you must know he's not new boy anymore. I ended it with him.
DAVID: That's a shame. Are you okay?
HARLOW: Yeah. It is what it is.
DAVID: What about Corey, is he heading back to the UK?
HARLOW: I don't know actually.
Toadie finally gets the door unlocked. Harlow continues to stare Corey's way, wondering why he's suddenly so chummy with Hendrix.
Aaron is collecting the mail with Isla when Levi comes over to say hello. Levi asks how things are going, and Aaron says they're okay all things considering. Aaron then asks if he's heard from Kyle or Roxy lately.
LEVI: Yes, they found a place! And they bought a Staffy.
AARON: That's awesome.
LEVI: They named him Levi. I'm not sure that's a compliment though.
AARON: (chuckling) Mate, I think it means they miss you.
Levi notices Freya is staring at them, appearing as though she wants to come over and talk, so he bids Aaron goodbye. Freya looks disappointed.
Things are still awkward between Chloe and Kiri, and Chloe would like them to clear the air. But Kiri's not in the mood for a reconciliation. Mackenzie then strolls out wearing a sheet mask and asks if they're keen to join her. Chloe and Kiri both say yes, but then back out so they don't have to spend time together. When Kiri exits, Mackenzie comments to Chloe on how strangely they're behaving. Mac wrongly thinks it's because Chloe slept with Kiri, but Chloe says it's a different issue entirely. Freya then walks in and makes her woes about Levi known, but both Chloe and Mac think she needs to keep giving Levi space.
Hendrix asks Corey if Harlow mentioned why she broke things off, so Corey makes up an excuse about the chemistry not being there. Hendrix then says he and Corey should hit the town one night and he'll act as a wingman for him. Corey says yes, so Hendrix goes into the kitchen to check his roster (having a slight coughing incident with the water he's drinking in the meantime). Harlow walks in and admits she's surprised to see that Corey is still in Erinsborough. But Corey says he hasn't had a proper chance to explore, so he thought he'd do that now his work conference is done.
COREY: If that's okay with you?
HARLOW: Yeah, I don't want things to be awkward between us.
COREY: Great! Then why don't we go back to the way things were? Friends?
HARLOW: I'd like that.
Corey gets a text from someone named Christabel saying 'I'm here', so he asks Harlow to let Hendrix know he'll see him later and then heads out.
The mysterious Christabel isn't pleased that Corey is no longer dating Harlow. She reminds him that his "task" is to exploit Harlow's vulnerability "and use that to bring her in". Corey says he's going to have to find a new angle and he'll keep her updated. Before he goes, Christabel asks Corey for an item she's needing but he doesn't have it on him. She points out that if he's serious about "advancing" then he'll bring it to her, so Corey says he'll meet her back here later with it.
CHRISTABEL: The Order is putting its faith in you.
COREY: Nothing will stand in the way of the process.
Levi is playing darts when Freya makes another attempt to chat to him. She brings out the bottle of gin he bought her and says she hopes to share it with him. Not in the bar of course, but perhaps tonight. Levi, however, doesn't want to hear anymore out of her, so Freya leaves the bottle on the table and says if he changes his mind he knows where to find her.
Terese and Ned are checking what needs to be set up for fashion week. Kiri has a quiet word with Glen and wonders how he's holding up having Terese around all the time. Glen says he's fine, but Kiri thinks he should just throw caution to the wind and get together with Terese.
GLEN: Yeah, it's not gonna happen.
KIRI: You like each other don't you?
GLEN: There's more to it than that.
KIRI: Oh come on, it'd be cute! Two people transforming hurt into new love.
GLEN: Sounds like the back of a book I'd never read.
KIRI: Okay but I bet you'd stream the TV adaptation.
GLEN: Paul and I have an agreement, I can't go there.
Ned and Terese approach and Ned asks if he can scope things out indoors, so Glen goes in with them. Kiri turns around and is surprised to see a visitor to the winery - her mum, Barbara.
David pushes Isla's pram and lets Aaron know he and Freya are meeting up with Toadie and Georgia again later. Aaron offers to come this time for moral support. He then spots Levi sitting at a table alone, so he goes over for a quick chat. Aaron asks if everything's okay, mentioning how awkward things were with Freya on the street earlier.
LEVI: How do you do it?
AARON: What's that?
LEVI: How do you forgive David so easily?
AARON: It's not easy, but I mean he is my husband.
LEVI: Yeah but he still lied to you.
AARON: I think people are more than just the last thing they've done. I've seen a lot of love and kindness from David over the years, so I guess I know who he is.
LEVI: Fair enough. It's a bit different with Freya and I though, she's been lying to me since she got here.
AARON: Mate, I think she had a pretty good reason.
LEVI: It doesn't mean I can trust her.
AARON: Don't take this the wrong way, Levi, but I think you're being pretty hardline here.
LEVI: Aaron she can't keep lying to me and then expect to just talk it out.
AARON: It sounds to me that it's exactly what you need. People aren't perfect, but sometimes it's worth accepting that.
Lassiters Hotel - Corey's Room/London
Corey goes straight to the safe and takes out a USB stick. There's a flashback to London when Harlow burnt Prue's diary in a park bin, but when Corey was alone he dug out the charred diary. Inside was a key, which opened a safe, which contained the USB. Back in the present, Corey copies the information onto his laptop before he has to part with it. He can't help but open the file labeled Prue.mp4 and is horrified by what he sees on the clip (which remains unseen to the audience).
Barbara tells Kiri that the place is a lot nicer than what she imagined - not that she expected a dump of course. Kiri would love to know why her mum has turned up out of the blue, but Barbara says that she's felt distant from her daughter and wanted to see what her new life was all about.
KIRI: As you can see I'm right where I belong.
BARBARA: And you're happy?
KIRI: It's been a weird couple of days but other than that, yeah.
BARBARA: (smiling) Good. Now when can I meet your co- workers?
Now is good for Kiri, so they head off to find everyone.
A very excited Amy shows Toadie some of her fashion week looks on her phone. Her mood is dampened, though, when Toadie has to break the news that Harlow and Corey have split up. Amy gets strung out and hopes the two of them will still be able to model for her. Luckily for her, Harlow just happens to be walking through the complex so Amy rushes over to offer her commiserations, but to also ask if fashion week is still on. "He still wants to be friends and so do I, so yeah, if he's happy to, I will," Harlow says, much to Amy's immense relief. Corey slinks around the complex and watches them chat.
Hendrix admires some of Mackenzie's modelling shots that Montana sent through for her. Mac says she'd like to start a portfolio in case more modelling opportunities crop up. Hendrix smirks at her when she starts to yawn.
HENDRIX: Didn't keep you up too late last night did I?
MACKENZIE: More so your coughing. Are you coming down with a cold?
HENDRIX: I don't know.
MACKENZIE: I love you but please don't give it to me.
Levi pops over, holding the bottle of gin, and tells Mac and Hendrix he's there to see Freya. The couple give them some space. Freya is stoked to see Levi, thinking he's there to mend fences with her, but Levi bursts her bubble when he plonks the gin bottle on the bench.
LEVI: I don't want to do this anymore. I know what you want from me, Freya, but I can't. I don't want to forgive you. You've done nothing but lie to me ever since you got here. And some people could give you another chance but I am not one of those people.
FREYA: (trying not to cry) I'm not going to mess up again.
LEVI: I can't trust you. I can't. I need to look after myself. So please, no more talking. No more approaching me when I'm out. I'm done.
Ned and Terese tell Glen that everything seems to be running smoothly for fashion week. Terese can't believe Paul has been so agreeable, but Glen says Paul can surprise you every now and then. Kiri and Barbara are walking around the corner of the building, still trying to locate Glen. But he walks into the building just as they stride out to the main walkway. Barbara wants Kiri to come home for a visit next weekend, but Kiri's rostered on at work. She promises her mum she'll pop over next time she's free.
KIRI: I'm sorry.
BARBARA: No, I'm glad actually. When we sold River Bend I was worried we left you out to dry, but you've really landed on your feet haven't you.
KIRI: Yeah I have.
Corey has returned to give the USB to Christabel. She snits that he should have handed it over before he left the UK, but Corey says he forgot in all the rush. He then tells Christabel he had an idea about how to lure back Harlow. Corey reveals that the guy Harlow slept with has a girlfriend, so he wants to somehow alert the girlfriend to the dalliance, then be Harlow's shoulder to cry on in the fallout. "I'll leave that in your capable hands," Christabel glowers. "Good luck." She leaves just as Corey hears Harlow calling out for him. Harlow says she was hoping to have a coffee with him, which Corey is pleased to go along with.
Mackenzie finds Freya in tears after Levi has gone. Freya admits she just couldn't let Gareth go, and now she's literally dragged everyone down into her mess.
FREYA: And now David might go to prison. I'm pretty sure that Levi's never going to want to have a bar of me again. I don't know what to do.
Mackenzie hugs Freya while she cries.
Glen looks around for Kiri and nearly has a heart attack when he sees her strolling with Barbara through the vineyard. He hides around a corner, wondering how on earth he's going to escape out of this one.
