Pierce vehemently rejects Paul's suggestion to move away from Erinsborough, plus he points out how is he going to convince the others to move too! Paul isn't backing down, and indeed points out that surely if his marriage is to recover, its better for him not to live across the street from Dipi.

While they continue to argue, their respective wives begin to wonder what they are talking about from where they are standing (once Chloe confirms the murder hunt has begun). "I thought this hotel sale would put an end to this," Terese says to Chloe before going over to the gents and demanding to know what they are arguing about. The ladies don't believe Pierce's reply of "nothing," so Paul instead says he was giving Pierce advice about Hendrix.

PIERCE: I'll take care of Hendrix, thank you Paul.
PAUL: Make sure you do.

Lassiters Complex
Avocado Hendrix runs into Harlow and asks if she still wants to dress up (he has her costume in his hand) but it's a no because he is still in her bad books, despite getting the stuff sorted with Jane.

"She's got every right to be upset," Pierce says to his son after seeing Harlow walk away from him. The lad knows that but plans to keep "chipping away" to win her back.

Pierce then notices Dipi and Shane looking for the murder clues outside Harold's and goes over to talk to them. Immediately he sees that Dipi has the necklace on and after Shane heads off to find more clues, he asks why she is wearing it. Dipi explains about Nell finding it and that Shane insisted she wore it, so she couldn't get out of not wearing it. To ensure Chloe doesn't see it, she tries to conceal it under the convenient scarf she is wearing. "I saw it," he points out and she promises to be more careful.

Lassiters Lake
As they cross the bridge, Ned admits to Kyle that he's no longer into Halloween given what happened last year with Scarlett. The pair then run into Yashvi at the rotunda who has been chatting about trying to avoid Ned on the phone to Bea! "I'll grab a coffee," is Kyle's way of excusing himself so that the pair can talk alone although they don't hang around too long, after Ned invites her for a drink at #22.

"Are you serious," is Chloe's reaction to Pierce's suggestion that the family relocate out of Erinsborough...and potentially Victoria too. Pierce's rationale is that he wants to fix the family and moving away is the chance of "a fresh start."

Harold's café
After successfully finding the next clue in the café (but refusing to tell Dipi who she thinks did it), Catwoman Jane runs into Paul and Terese on the way out. Paul is extremely grateful to Jane for resolving the Harlow situation and apologises for asking her to bend the rules.

When they reach the counter, after Jane heads off to solve more clues, Paul informs Terese (in a loud enough voice so that Dipi can hear) that he thinks the Greyson family will be moving away. Terese is shocked by the news and immediately accuses Paul of having a hand in it, which of course he denies. In the background, you can see Dipi roll her eyes!

Number 22
Over a beer, Ned and Yashvi start the conversation neutrally (over what Shane is doing at #30) before Levi interrupts to drop off a parcel that was inadvertently delivered to #26. Ned knows what it is - Scarlett's painting now the Osbourne Society have finished with their need for it.

NED: It's like I can't get away from her.

Ned orders Levi to get rid of the painting, making it clear he wants nothing to do with it at all.

"This really has come out of the blue," Chloe says to her husband after they start talking about his bombshell. He denies that its due to Nicolette and instead puts it down to Paul and his constant gloating since the share trade. "That's it, you don't like Paul?!" a bemused Chloe asks and while agreeing that she too doesn't like the man, adds that Erinsborough is her home.

CHLOE: I like my job. My brother is trying for a baby. It's just a lot to leave behind because you don't get along with someone.

Pierce then announces the perfect place to move to - Adelaide given Paige and Mark are about to have a baby and she'd be close to her mum. "I guess," she replies having obviously never thought of that before and Pierce tries to sell her on the move - a massive house and the boys are welcome to come visit any time.

PIERCE: This is about you and me and Hendrix putting down roots for our family on our terms.

"You really are serious about this?" she asks and he can't reply "yes" quick enough and Chloe agrees to at least think about it.

Hendrix has messaged Harlow to ask him to meet her, and when she arrives, he breaks the news to her about Pierce's plans for them all to move away. The lad is extremely upset and he nods his head when Harlow asks if he wants to talk about it.

Dipi looks mightily relieved Chloe didn't stop too long and speak to Shane and herself when she spotted them outside Harold's, Dipi having of course made sure the necklace was covered by the scarf! She then receives a summons from Pierce asking her to get to the room ASAP, which she manages to do after coming up with an excuse (stuff to do at Harold's) when Shane heads off to the Community Centre thinking the next clue in the hunt is there.

In private, Dipi admits she isn't surprised at Paul continually making more demands of Pierce to keep quiet with what he knows. She doesn't look too happy at hearing him talk about moving way and even though Pierce admits, "I don't want to move anywhere Dipi," he already knows what the fallout will be if their secret comes out and doesn't want her caught up in it.

DIPI: That's very noble.
PIERCE: The last thing I am is noble.

"That's how I see you," Dipi replies, adding that he never "make me feel ignored" or "taken for granted." "How do I make you feel?" he asks and her reply is "wanted." Seconds later, she and body double Pierce are pashing away.

Number 26
"Yuk!" is how Kyle describes Scarlett's painting being taken into #26 by Levi and Yashvi. Given their earlier conversation, he decides to head over the road to check on how his mate is doing.

Meanwhile, Levi apologises to Yashvi for ruining her time with Ned but she replies it wasn't him that ruined it, but rather the painting! "Scarlett is going to haunt Ned forever," she laments after they've taken the painting out of the packaging it was returned in. Levi knows it's been "all about Ned lately," so asks if she is okay. "I don't know, I thought so," she replies but then admits that seeing the painting has brought everything back - she wants to get past it and forgive him, but seeing the painting just reminds Yashvi of how much Ned hurt her.

Number 22
Ned is surprised to see Terese home after she comes out into the garden to check on how the boys are doing. Kyle tells her about the painting being returned, which is why he is down, and he adds that he feels "its never going to end."

"I wouldn't be a mate if I wasn't," Kyle replies in acknowledgement to Terese thanking him for being there for Ned. Ned was off taking a call and when he hangs up, he explains about the call - some gallery wants to buy Scarlett's painting to put in their permanent touring collection! Given he "never wants to see that painting again," Ned is torn over what to do. They though think that given its going to be on tour - he won't need to actually see it, something that he'd never considered before judging by the facial expressions he his making!

Dipi and Pierce sneak out the staff entrance of the hotel... seconds after Shane has been there too (there was another clue in the bushes beside the door). "I guess that's it then," she asks and Pierce confirms that it is. The pair have one last final pash and are caught red handed...not by Shane though, but by Jane who is very much shocked by what she has witnessed!!!

Paul can't concentrate on the clue he is reading due to his partner - Harlow the slice of toast (Hendrix's outfit now makes sense - the pair were going to be avocado on toast!) He isn't sure why she is still wearing it, so she explains that Hendrix has been hit hard at the thought of moving away especially as neither want that to happen, so while she hasn't forgiven him, she equally doesn't want to waste time being angry at him.

HARLOW: He's still my boyfriend.

Paul doesn't want her to forget the trouble he got her into, before the pair head out to get the next clue.

Pierce spots his son standing in the bar and the lad informs his dad that while he gives his blessing to him and Chloe leaving, he is staying put in Erinsborough because he isn't "leaving Harlow." Given he is 18, the lad makes it clear he doesn't have to follow his dad and will either carry on living at the house or make alternative arrangements.

HENDRIX: I am not leaving.

Harold's café
Jane is delirious to have won the Halloween murder mystery hunt - she was the murderer apparently! Although Dipi is happy for her friend, she knows that Shane will be devastated given how much he was putting into it.

Jane then starts making some cryptic comments, which puzzles Dipi, until the final one - that she loved Shane's 'Phantom' outfit and that she saw the pair pashing. Thinking quickly, Dipi comes up with an excuse for them being passionate with each other (dressing up in costumes!) and asks that what she saw stays between them. "There's no need to be embarrassed about public displays of affection with your husband," Jane says to her friend... and seconds later Shane the pirate walks into the café!

Thinking even quicker, after Jane turns around and sees Shane, Dipi says that he went home to change "because the Phantom's just for me." "Spicy!" Jane replies back, still somewhat confused about what is going on but adds that it's "sweet that he made such an effort." Again, Dipi asks for this to be secret, and Jane replies back "understood," although you can still see the confusion on her face over the whole thing.

Yashvi is bemused at her summons to the backyard of #28, so Bea is the one to explain that the painting is getting in the way of her and Ned moving on from Scarlett and knows what can help.

"You have to get changed," Dipi tells the newly arrived Pierce and why. Pierce is caught in the middle, given its Chloe's event, he feels he can't change into his normal clothes (as she suggested) otherwise Chloe will start asking questions given she knows he was wearing a costume. "Tell her you spilt something on it," Dipi suggests otherwise "Jane figures it out and then everybody knows."

PIERCE: What are we doing Dipi?
DIPI: Putting out fires.
PIERCE: And then? We put out another fire and then another fire? It's got to stop.
DIPI: Pierce...
PIERCE: Before we hurt people. Come on, you know it has to.
DIPI: I know it's wrong, but what we have, what you gave to me when I needed it most, I don't know if I am ready to lose that.
PIERCE: I'm sorry Dipi, it's got to be over.

As 'The birth' starts to play, Dipi wordlessly takes off the diamond necklace and gives it back to Pierce.

Ned and Kyle are doing over the pro's and con's of selling the painting to the gallery.

"I promise you'll feel better," Bea reassures Yashvi with.

Kyle asks Ned why he became an artist in the first place and the reply is "my way of engaging with the world" and gives the examples of Sonya's mural and doing tattoo's. "So you've worked too hard to throw it all way," Kyle tries to point out to him and warns that if he "says no," then "Scarlett wins."

KYLE: Don't let her take more than what she already has.

And it's a huge 'oospies' at #26 where Yashvi is literally pulling the painting apart!

Ned calls the gallery back to say he is happy to sell his painting to them.

And as if ripping the painting to shreds wasn't enough... the picture is now being burned as the aptly titled 'Fire' plays in the background!
