Ramsay Street
Leila is getting the brunt of Aaron and David's frustrations with the sudden news emerging about Emmett's aunt. She breaks the news that the aunt (Linda) has already been cleared to foster the brothers and it is the preferred option to place them with a family member. "And what if he doesn't want to go?" Aaron asks and Leila explains his wishes will be part of the discussions but "maintaining a connection to family is the most important thing for kids in care" she again reminds them of.

LEILA: I understand it's hard. This is a really good outcome for him.

Number 24
Chloe has a good idea for how to spend her day off - taking her mum (and Nicolette) to the spa for a treatment and then going out for a walk in the Dandenongs after some food. Fay thinks it's a great idea and asks Nicolette to help her get ready.

Pierce enters the kitchen and thinks Chloe is overdoing things when he hears what the plans for her day off is. He is not amused to hear Chloe inform him that she's cancelled the CVS (Chorionic villus sampling) test scheduled for tomorrow too. "We need to know," he reminds her, and she admits she is already fearing that the test is going to show "high markers for Huntington's." Chloe eventually reveals her other reasoning - she needs to rest after the test and doesn't want to do that while Fay is living with them.

Nicolette happens to walk into the kitchen (to get Fay's scarf) while they are discussing this, and she backs Pierce up by saying "the sooner you get the test the better" especially as "worrying isn't good for your health." Chloe announces that she will call her doctor to re-instate the appointment.

Number 32
David and Aaron are on tenterhooks waiting inside as Leila chats to Emmett outside, wondering what is being said. Eventually they come indoors, and Leila says that the lad is overwhelmed and needs some time to figure out what he wants. She departs after telling Emmett to get in touch once he's ready and in the meantime, she is available to chat if needed.

Emmett looks absolutely shell shocked after she leaves and admits that he "doesn't know what to do." He reassures them that he likes living at #32 but if he goes to live with his aunt, it will make seeing his mum and brother easier. David points out his mum will still be subject to access restrictions.

EMMETT: I just wish I could live with all of you.

Aaron is quick to reassure the lad for him not to worry about them, he's to do what is best for himself, even if that means living with his auntie. "We understand," Aaron finishes off with and David looks like he is ready to say something but keeps his mouth closed.

The Waterhole/Number 22
Feeling lonely with Terese away, Paul calls Jane to invite her for lunch at The Terrace. Jane however was hoping to have lunch with Nicolette, so Paul suggests to her that she takes the reservation and if Nicolette can't manage, he will be her back up.

Number 32
David finally gets a chance to have a go at his hubby for what he said to Emmett. "I hate this just as much as you do," Aaron replies back but adds that he isn't going to push the lad "because its not fair." David is sure part of their guardian duties is to help Emmett make right decisions, which Aaron readily agrees with... as long as they are objective ones.

David is aghast when Jenna turns up unannounced and tries to (subtly) talk Emmett into going to live with his auntie. He tries to explain that they are giving Emmett the space to think things over... hoping she gets the hint, but she basically ignores him and continues to talk to her son. Acting as the peacemaker again, despite getting filthy looks from his husband, Aaron invites Jenna to stay.

The Waterhole
Chloe gets confirmation that her appointment has been re-arranged, however lies to her mum over who it is with when she asks. Changing the subject, Chloe instead talks about their forthcoming treatment at the spa courtesy of Pierce. Fay is really looking forward to it and tells Pierce that he is "an excellent son-in-law," and Nicolette feels she is forced to say he is "the best" too when Fay looked at her for backing up her statement.

Nicolette excuses herself from the table and then runs into her mum. Jane is thrilled to see that her daughter is getting on well in her job... and accidentally peeves her daughter off when she lets slip that she might have said a word or two in helping her get the position! "I won't do it again," Jane promises to ease the tension with Nicolette and looks thrilled when her daughter agrees to them having lunch.

Spa
The spa only wants 2 people in at a time, so Nicolette suggests to Chloe that she goes in with her mum, now she has got her ready. Chloe rushes off to be with her mum, leaving Nicolette and Pierce behind and he doesn't waste much time in chastising her for butting into the "personal discussion" he was having with Chloe at the house. "But I agreed with you," she points out but that isn't washing with him and reminds her she was hired to look after Fay "and that's it."

NICOLETTE: Message received.

She also wants to pay her share of the bill for the spa day... complimented with daggered eyes at Pierce!

Ramsay Street
Paul heads over the road towards #32 after getting a call from David. David admits that he doesn't begrudge the lad wanting to go and live with his aunt (if she is deemed suitable), its Jenna's involvement that he is worried about, given she currently doesn't agree to any rules! Paul agrees she isn't good at putting Emmett's needs first, and that David is right to be concerned, so suggests that he has to act and says it is better for the lad to stay at #32.

Number 32
Aaron leaves mother and son to chat, heading out the back talking to Chloe about Fay.

Now alone, Jenna uses the fact Aaron is likely to think about his mum all the time to convince Emmett that he is in the way at #32. "It's okay," Emmett tries to explain but is cut off at the pass when she reminds him that Fay is his mum, so he "cares about her more" and that (to her) isn't fair because Emmett needs the attention too.

JENNA: It will be better at your aunties, she's family, so you will be number one.

David overhears that final bit and manages to get Emmett out of the kitchen to have word with Jenna. "What do you think you're doing?!" he says to her the moment they are alone. She plays dumb, so he spells it out a bit simpler for her - she is wrong to tell Emmett that he isn't their priority. Sticking to her guns, she isn't backing down from her stance and David is getting himself really worked up, so much that Aaron is forced to tell him to keep calm when he comes back into the kitchen after finishing his call.

DAVID: What's the point if she's sneaking around trying to convince him to leave?!
JENNA: I'm not sneaking around, he's my kid and he should be with family and you two, and your dad, just want to get rid of me.

David reminds her how supportive they were when she got a job. She isn't sure and thought it was more to see if she would stuff up. "That doesn't even make sense," David replies almost figuratively pulling his hair out! We now find out why Linda is in the picture - Jenna called after feeling they "had it in" for her asking her to move.

AARON: You're the reason she's back?

Harold's café
Fay has really enjoyed her massage so much that Chloe suggests they get her a regular booking at a spa in Adelaide (near where she lives) when she goes back. In return, Fay thinks Paige would like a voucher as she's and a sore back as a result of being pregnant. With the mention of Paige and her pregnancy, Chloe asks if she would have had kids if she'd known about the Huntington's beforehand? "Why do you ask?" a curious Fay asks, and Chloe replies that she is "just curious."

FAY: I wouldn't trade you or your brothers for the world.
CHLOE: Even if you'd known I'd inherited too.
FAY: It makes me sound selfish, but I just can't imagine life without you.
CHLOE: Neither can I... obviously.
FAY: Being healthy doesn't mean life will be easy, there are always challenges.
CHLOE: Some bigger than others.
FAY: Yes, and you never know what's around the corner. Even where I am now, I'm glad I had this life and had it with the four of you. It's been a blessing.

Number 32
The boys aren't sure what to do following Jenna's admission as Emmett comes back into the kitchen asking for his mum. David explains she is on the phone and asks how the lad is feeling about everything.

DAVID: You've got a big decision to make and I'd hate for you to make it without considering all of the facts.
AARON: David!

David ignores him and tries to tell Emmett that moving will be complicated like having to change schools when he's just started making progress.

DAVID: And then there's your mum... I'm not having a go at her, she obviously loves you and she's trying her best but her drinking and what happened at the hotel, that really hurt you.

Aaron tries to step in and stop his husband, but David wants to make sure Emmett is aware of all the facts to help him make this important decision. "We're still trying to get our heads round this too," Aaron tries explaining to the lad as Jenna comes back into the kitchen to hear him add that Emmett shouldn't stress.

David can sense that Emmett has made his decision though, and he has - the lad has swallowed up all that Jenna said to him and basically regurgitates it to them.

EMMETT: I'm going to go today.

Jenna is "so stoked" at the decision he's made and goes to make arrangements with his auntie.

Spa
Pierce tries to clear the air with Nicolette, but she has more than got the message and won't interfere in the future... that includes not being sure whether to say where Chloe is after he asks! Eventually, she informs him that Chloe (and her mum) left not long ago and mentions about the earlier plan for them to walk in the Dandenongs. He can't believe Chloe took Fay alone, even if Nicolette points out his wife is "a grown woman" who can take her mum for a walk if she wants to! "How can you stop her?" she finishes with... just as Pierce rushes out of the spa in his towelling dressing gown!

NICOLETTE: I'm joking.

Lassiters Complex
Pierce, in his dressing gown and with his face plastered in face mask gunk, gives the passing Paul (and unseen random folk in the complex) much hilarity. If only Chloe had sent her text a few minutes earlier, telling him that they're waiting for him in Harold's! Looks could kill too judging by the one he gives Nicolette who is standing in the doorway to the Spa!

Number 32
The boys are helping Emmett pack his stuff up - putting it into a suitcase rather than the black bag the lad arrived with. "I don't have to take everything that you guys bought for me," he says to them, but they insist on it. He does though turn down the offer of taking the PS4, wanting the next kids they have to get the use of it and the other stuff in his room.

EMMETT: They're going to be lucky to have you guys... I hope you don't hate me.

"Of course we don't," David immediately replies back, and Aaron is quick to add in too that he is going to "miss him like crazy," before reassuring the lad that they understand the decision he has made.

DAVID: We knew you weren't going to be here forever, but we were lucky to have you as long as we did.

Emmett starts to well up and Aaron says for him not to cry, that he should "be happy" as this is what he wants.

Harold's café
Pierce, now fully dressed and minus the face mask gunk, gets some gentle ribbing from his wife and mother-in-law after they hear about what he did. Chloe praises her husband for his endeavour before the happy atmosphere changes after she gets a text from Aaron telling her about Emmett leaving.

Nicolette doesn't look too enamoured to be given an impromptu day off after the pair decide to take Fay home themselves when she initially went to go get Fay home.

Jane literally swaps places with them and is so looking forward to having lunch with her daughter... but she now isn't in the mood and calls it off. Despite Nicolette saying its me, not you, Jane looks rather crestfallen after Nicolette walks out of the café.

Ramsay Street
Its farewell time for Emmett and even Harlow has arrived for the socially distant farewell to the lad. "You take care of yourself," Paul says to the lad as well as a warning about not flying drones or climbing on roofs! "You got it," he replies before saying to Aaron and David that they can visit him, which they plan to once he is settled in.

With clever use of filming, David gives Emmett a (pretend) hug before the lad gets in the taxi with Leila, ready to go start his new life. Before getting in the taxi, Leila praises the boys for the fantastic job they did.

LEILA: For first timers, you should feel incredibly proud.

As 'Swept to the sky' continues, the boys really struggle to keep their emotions in check as the taxi pulls away with Emmett giving them one last wave.

Number 22
The boys aren't looking forward to going home to an empty house as they hang with Paul (and Harlow) in the backyard of #22. Aaron wonders how foster parents do this "over and over again," but clears up Paul's misconception that they won't foster again... however from the look David has on his face, I'm not too sure he is ready to sign up and "do it all over again."

Number 24
Chloe is telling Pierce the gist of the conversation she had with her mum - that she'd still go through with the pregnancies even if she'd known about the Huntington's. "How did it feel hearing that?" he asks and with a smile on her face, Chloe replies that she is glad her mum had her.

CHLOE: I love my life, even with this disease. And it made me realise that if the CVS test shows low HD markers, and there's no chance of passing the illness on, I want this baby.
PIERCE: You sound pretty certain.

"I am," she replies but her proviso is "low markers only though." He is looking forward to hearing the results in two weeks' time so, "all being well," they can tell people about the baby... but someone has overheard their conversation - Fay!

FAY: You're pregnant?!
