Mackenzie enthuses about the food that Shane has cooked. Richie seemed to be jumpy and had made a quick exit. Mackenzie admits that Shane had a go at them over the cream. Dipi isn't sure what the answer is but goes to put some cake into Shane's rucksack. Shane arrives quickly looking panicked. Dipi finds old samosas in the bag and isn't impressed they've gone to waste. Shane apologises but is relieved that's all she's found.

Kyle is impressed with the food and jokes about Levi returning more often! Sheila quickly insists that shouldn't happen! Sheila insists on clearing and fusses over Levi. Sheila and Levi have the next day off. Sheila promises to stay out of Levi's way but Levi tells her it's not necessary. Levi heads to bed. Kyle advises Sheila to ease up, things will work out.

It is now the next morning and Shane has fallen asleep over his books. Dipi wakes him, it's half an hour before his shift. She suggests he showers and he heads off to do that. Yashvi comments that he looks shattered, Dipi points out he's been studying hard. Yashvi points out he's doing a lot of studying and not partying like it's meant to be. Dipi rues making him go shopping when he didn't really have the time to do it. Dipi muses he needs a break. Yashvi thinks he can catch up on sleep during his numerous holidays.

Harlow and Mackenzie are waiting for Paul to read their pitch but he's not appreciating having an audience. He tells them it will be easier to do it without them watching so he's going to head off. Paul asks Ned to clear a bit of stuff as it's lying around. Paul admits to Terese that he doesn't think the proposed changes will be good for the business. He doesn't want their feelings to be hurt but thinks it's unfeasible. Terese tells him he needs to make Harlow understand this.

Kyle is bantering about Bad Boys to Levi. Sheila is tiptoeing around Levi and tries to head to her bedroom to take her medication. Levi tells her it's important and heads off instead. Sheila walks off in a huff.
The Waterhole
Shane is chugging down the water and Roxy thinks he's had a wild night, he denies this. He's not very chatty and is just getting through his shift. Roxy witters on and he wants her to stop asking questions. She doesn't take the hint and he snaps at her.

Paul shows Harlow and Mackenzie the statistics.
PAUL: 73% of respondents wanted luxury as a key factor.
Mackenzie points out these statistics are 4 years out of date. Paul points out that there was loss after this over the next two years where these changes have taken place. Harlow realises he's just thinking about the money side of things. Mackenzie tells him that bookings might go up if he goes green. He's still not convinced. They point out that Pierce has used environmentally friendly ideas for the Island, Paul is more interested in profit. Harlow realises he won't change his mind but isn't impressed.
The Waterhole
Shane gets a call from someone with no name and is curious about it. Shane is nonplussed. Roxy goes to pick it up but Shane stops her. She jokes about the call being important but Shane isn't interested.
Dipi arrives and enthuses how hard Shane has been working. He shrugs it off. As he needs a break she's booked him into Lassiter's Hotel for the night. She has a discount from Pierce. She thinks he really deserves it. Shane thanks her. Dipi heads off. Roxy notices that Shane doesn't look so enthusiastic. He doesn't think he is so deserving of this treat.
No.26 Backyard
Levi and Sheila are both heading towards the jacuzzi. When Sheila realises she tries to back off but Levi is happy for them both to use it.
Harold's Café
Dipi lets Pierce have his order on the house after giving her a hotel discount. Pierce hopes that it will be a rest for Shane. Chloe is getting the hang of things in Adelaide. Pierce can't imagine what it's like for Chloe watching Fay go through this. Dipi thinks that Chloe needs to prioritise her own health. Chloe has used up the beetroot burgers. Pierce has thought of a way for Dipi to repay the favour about the hotel discount.
Ned admits he has stuff all over the place at home. Yashvi points out that only Paul has issues about it. Ned gets the impression that Terese also isn't impressed. Yashvi suggests a studio space but it would need to not cost much. Yashvi is supportive of him pursuing photography and needs to head off.
The Waterhole
Roxy has found speed drugs in the bathroom, this makes Shane alert! Someone tried to flush the drugs down the toilet. Roxy plans to call the police, Shane isn't keen as the place would be searched.
Yashvi arrives for her order and Shane snatches the drugs. Roxy isn't looking impressed, Shane claims Roxy is hungover.
ROXY: I don't know what that was but you're gonna tell me right now.

Paul has received a noise complaint by text about The Backpackers and isn't impressed. He isn't impressed either by Harlow's compost container. Terese is fine about it but Paul isn't so convinced. Harlow wants to not use paper towels and plastic packaging. Paul feels coerced into agreeing.
PAUL: I'm going to need another organically grown ethically sourced coffee.
The Waterhole
Shane admits that he's wiped out by the course. The rest of the students are young and don't have responsibilities like him and are fine. Roxy is stunned that he's been taking drugs, Shane wants her to quieten down. It got too much when he went to help Grant. Shane realises it sounds crazy. Study aids and energy drinks only worked for so long. He needed to stay up all night. Roxy asked him if he could step back from the acceleration course. Shane refused.
SHANE: I've failed at pretty much everything else in my life.
Roxy isn't convinced but Shane tells her it's true. He is determined for this time to be different. This hasn't been going on too long, Roxy is the only other person who knows. He takes it when he's studying, Roxy realises that's daily. Roxy tells him that after a friend did the same he stayed away for a week. Roxy wouldn't take speed herself. Shane got rid of the drugs after Ollie was busted by Yashvi. Ollie wasn't Shane's drug dealer. He was stunned to learn about the drugs at school. Shane insists that he's got things sorted. Roxy doesn't look so convinced!

Dipi is impressed that Pierce has all the ingredients ready that were on the list. He even bought double ingredients to be on the safe side!
DIPI: Good mood leads to good food.
Dipi dances to the music and jokes about finding his groove. He banters about not being a good dancer, she's not fazed. She insists and he gradually moves to the music. Something falls off the worktop and they laugh.

Levi is looking through the fridge as Sheila tries to creep past. Levi calls her out on this. He's fed up of Sheila apologising all the time and keep running in the opposite direction. She's terrified of messing up as he might have never spoken to her again. She wants to explain what actually happened and her actions when he's ready. He understands why she did it but needs to go at his speed which she agrees to.

Harlow has sorted out which products need to be changed, Terese is agreeable. Paul realises Harlow isn't stepping down without a fight.
TERESE: Must be a genetic trait.
PAUL: I get that Harlow is sticking to her guns. I just wish they weren't fully loaded and aimed at me.
Terese is still seeing similar traits between the two of them! Paul points out that Harlow will inherit the business one day so this will affect her.
Paul suggests a truce to Harlow. Paul suggests that Harlow shadows him at Lassiter's and see things from his point of view. He wants to put his point of view over. He wants her to see that the changes aren't as simple as she thinks they are. Harlow things changes might be proved the better option. Paul isn't convinced but they agree to do this.
The Waterhole
Roxy isn't so convinced Shane is on top of all this. She thinks his judgement is up to its usual standard over being able to give up the drugs. She points out he wants to do this but it could not work in several ways. Shane refuses to tell Dipi.
ROXY: You need your family to get through this.
SHANE: I can't. She'd never look at me the same.
ROXY: She's your wife. She loves you and deserves to know.
Shane insists he needs time to get himself together. Dipi arrives, she has beetroot all over her hands.
