No.24
Elly arrives, she's come to borrow a Space Jam DVD which Chloe recommended. Shaun has reached the Island but hasn't got great phone reception. She explains he's applied for the Counsellor position and waiting to hear. Hendrix wants to borrow 50 bucks, Pierce advises he gets a job. Hendrix thinks this is over the foster care situation and slams the door on his way out. Pierce hopes that if Shaun gets the job he can help Hendrix.

Lassiter's Office
Pierce, Chloe, Paul and Terese are holding a meeting. Pierce announces they plan to revive the Adventure Camp idea. Pierce admits it will take up time but promises it won't clash with other commitments and will be strictly out of hours.

PAUL: Do you even have any spare hours?

Terese is happy to professionally address any conflicts that might happen. Paul and Terese head off.

Hendrix arrives wanting an apology despite the fact they're at work. Hendrix has spoken to Leila over the phone. It turns out Pierce was the reason they were turned down for fostering.

After pondering Toadie rings Dee and tells her he has something he needs to share with her.

Lassiter's Office
Chloe can't recall what happened as they were both there during the interview. The reason was Pierce and Chloe have considered having another baby, this is also the first Hendrix has heard of it! Chloe insists the thought hasn't crossed their minds. Pierce had told Leila they'd considered this but left it up to Chloe. This was due to Chloe's Huntington's but Pierce realises Leila has got the wrong end of the stick. When prompted they apologise to Hendrix for jumping the gun. Hendrix isn't impressed that Pierce hadn't had faith in him. Hendrix is now asking for 100 bucks, Pierce agrees to hand it over.

No.22
Ned gets out from his night out and has had a good time. Yashvi is happier now. Ned admits he will be a few days late with the rent. He's been paid for the installation but hasn't got enough after having to pay bills and supplies. Paul reminds him that rent is a bill but Terese is ok about this. Ned will pay her asap.

PAUL: It's true what they say about starving artists.

Terese is ok about this, Ned hasn't needed an extension before now. Paul thinks it could happen again if she lets him be late this time.

The Waterhole
Dee knows what the next step is. Toadie has already realised that Dee plans to go to Alaska as she would want to help her Dad Peter. Toadie plans to go with her. Dee is surprised by this.

TOADIE: I said I'd find a way to make things up to you.

Toadie plans to ask Shane and Dipi to look after the kids and can close the office for a couple of weeks. Dee suggests that the cancer is in one lung so could carry on for another few months. Toadie realises Dee will want to stay with him up to the end.

DEE: I want to get to know my father. It might take more than weeks.

Toadie agrees with this. Toadie offers to come for a while, return to Australia and come back with his kids. Dee doesn't think that's possible. Dee is touched but wants to do this by herself. Toadie agrees to wait as long as is necessary. Dee refuses, he's spent too long waiting.

DEE: You deserve more. We both know we can't be together and that's ok.
TOADIE: This is what you wanted to tell me. This is... this is it. This is the end of us.
DEE: I will always love you.

Lassiter's Lift
The Island was more peaceful than Shaun was expecting. Finn came to mind but what happened was unattached to memories of Finn.

Lassiter's Office
Elly and Shaun find Chloe yawning as she works late. Various things on the Island are coming back to life. Shaun admits the place has been wrecked badly. The campsite remains can be seen plus rubbish. He suggests a clean=up crew plus a bulldozer for the vegetation. Elly suggests that Chloe asks for volunteers. Elly thinks people would volunteer for this good cause and help a lot of kids.

Harold's Café
Kyle tells Pierce he wants to volunteer to help clean up the Island. Pierce doesn't want him forced into it after what happened.

KYLE: I want something good to come out of that place. Reckon Dad would do too.

Hendrix is back from the movie and noncommittal about it. He's sorry that it wasn't the right time for fostering if that's the path they want to take. He wants to borrow Pierce's credit card to purchase a drone, he claims it's for school. Chloe is sceptical about this! Pierce agrees.

PIERCE: Don't get anything that will annoy the neighbours.

Pierce and Chloe realise that Hendrix will make the most of this! They agree they haven't ruled the possibility of having their own child yet, Chloe is still making up her mind. Pierce wants to save the fostering idea for a later date, Chloe agrees. They have other things to focus on. He wants to check if she's ok about things.

CHLOE: If I say yes will you buy me a drone?!

Aster is asleep but grizzly. Shaun is pleased to announce he has got the Counsellor position at the school. Elly congratulates him but isn't very enthusiastic. She admits to having qualms about him working there. Due to Finn she can't return to teach there and she needs to work out the future for herself. Shaun hadn't realised this and wants to decline the job. Elly wants him to take the job and convinces him. It's important to her for them as parents to be honest with each other. He agrees and wants to take the chance of a fresh start.

No.30
It's now the next morning. Dee messages and then calls Toadie on Skype. He's surprised she's already leaving for Alaska, she got an early flight. Toadie is stunned as they had a lot to discuss.

DEE: We said everything last night didn't we?

Toadie wants to come and see her. She refuses, she's packed and ready to go, she's going to visit the prison first. Heather has been transferred but they have communicated by phone. Toadie offers to come to visit Andrea but Dee declines. Dee plans for this to be her last visit. She does plan to come and say goodbye to people on him and the rest of the Street, Toadie agrees.

Prison
Andrea still has dark hair and is convinced that Dee is here to argue. Andrea asks after Hugo but Dee doesn't want to talk about him. Dee explains about Toadie contacting their biological father. Dee needed to know about their father. The man has had a quiet life. Andrea points out that when he left Heather was pregnant and isn't impressed. Dee doesn't think he was in the right headspace back then. He's considered finding them since he got clean. He works in mines in Alaska plus he has lung cancer. Andrea seems quiet when she learns it's bad but isn't that moved. Heather wanted Andrea to know. Andrea isn't interested in writing to him. Dee accepts this and heads off.

Lassiter's Complex (Outside Harold's Café)
Yashvi is telling her parents and Ned about eating caviar. Ned gets a call from Noah about the commission. Ned offers to make a draft. As he comes off the phone they realise he didn't get it.

SHANE: You regretting giving up that steadily paid job yet mate?

Yashvi is supportive and wants to know when they can go back to the restaurant, he looks worried.

Ramsay Street
Dee walks out from No.30 hand in hand with Toadie then hugs Elly goodbye. Elly hopes Dee can make good memories with her father. Dee has left a card for Karl and Susan saying goodbye. He tells her to call if she's ever stuck.

DEE: You deserve so much love. Be open to it ok?
TOADIE: I'm straight onto the dating sites as soon as you leave.

He agrees. They share a tender goodbye kiss.

DEE: Goodbye.

Dee gets into the taxi and waves goodbye. Toadie watches her leave.

Memorial Wall
Toadie remembers Sonya telling him he needs to love again when time has passed.

TOADIE: Well you told me that I had to move on and be happy. So I did and I was happy there for a bit. (Toadie remembers kissing Dee in the kitchen.) Things just couldn't work out between us. I mean, me and Dee. Too many complications. I can't believe I nearly lost Hugo after everything that we went through together just to protect him. But he - he's safe now and our Nellyfish too and that's... that's what I'm going to hold onto. I'm never going to put anything before them again. I know, I know. Yeah I can hear you saying it, I know - just get it together. I miss that. I miss you. So that is what I am going to do. I'm just gonna focus on me and the kids and word. If I ever need a reminder about what's important in life, I'm just gonna come and see you and... You can set me straight. I love you.
