Hendrix is watching TV. Pierce and Chloe are talking awkwardly about cooking.

Hendrix senses weirdness and tests the water by telling Pierce that Chloe ruined his favourite T-shirt. He just says, "accidents happen". Hendrix tells them to work it out, soon.

Ned is very pleased with how the charity event went. Paul says he's going to cancel a meeting with a "Shane" in the morning. Terese smiles knowingly and says she thinks he should keep the meeting.

Dipi gives Mackenzie a "Pride Present" from Yashvi. She goes off to try it on, but we don't see what it is.

Grant, Shane and Dipi talk. They think he should go to Pride.

GRANT: I wouldn't have thought I'd be invited, I'm not really part of that world.
DIPI: We are all part of that world, that is the point of the day.
SHANE: Everyone is welcome, mate. And it would mean so much to Mackenzie if you showed up.
DIPI: If you want to understand her, you are going to have to get to know people who are different to you.
GRANT: Yeah, but...I don't know.
SHANE: Come on, mate. Take the plunge. I promise you won't regret it.

Lassiter's
Pride is in full swing. Paul sees Courtney at reception and she asks to talk to him about a project she's working on. Paul says he'll cancel a meeting he was going to. Pierce and Chloe come a long and comments on the drag act, and the penny finally drops with Paul that Courtney is a drag artist. He apologises for not realising "she" and Shane were the same person.

Courtney says she's got a nice outfit for Paul to wear to Pride.

Chloe asks Pierce for a coffee to have a chat. He says everything's fine and they should just concentrate on Pride. Chloe says she's looking forward to showing everyone that she's a "proud, bi, woman". Pierce looks uncomfortable again.

Later, Pride is in full swing at the complex with people rollerskating around the complex. Mackenzie, Hendrix and Harlow arrive (Mackenzie is wearing a rainbow top that she presumably got from Yashvi) Mackenzie is looking overjoyed at the turn-out for Pride. Suddenly she catches sight of Grant with Shane and Dipi.

MACKENZIE: Woah. Dad's here.

She goes over to him.

MACKENZIE: I didn't know you were coming!
GRANT: Um...so this is, lots of rainbow stuff. I heard it's a thing, but I'm not sure why.
MACKENZIE: The queer community has adopted it as a symbol of diversity.
SHANE: All the colours of the rainbow.
GRANT:(awkwardly) Ah. Makes sense.
MACKENZIE: I'm so glad you've come.

Courtney Act starts her act. Terese tells Paul off for his behaviour today.

Courtney calls up Chloe and Pierce.

COURTNEY: Look at these two hot newlyweds. Mr and Mrs Lassiters Pride 2020! What I wouldn't give to be the meat in that sandwich! Am I right? Now, don't worry, you'll get your crown and your sash after the swimsuit section of this evening's proceedings...but tell me, newlyweds...in a hotel, how do you get anything done with so many beds around?
PIERCE: Er...we managed to keep it under control.
COURTNEY: Uh oh, things have gone stale in the bedroom already.
CHLOE: No, Courtney, the only thing stale in our bedroom is popcorn.

Everyone looks confused.

CHLOE: From...when we watch movies in bed...
COURTNEY: Yeah, right, I'm going to need a bracing cold shower after that, but give these two a round of applause!

(Oh dear, was that public humiliation really necessary? Poor Pierce and Chloe)

Chloe asks Pierce talk awkwardly, but he still doesn't want to talk about the other night.

At a table, Hendrix, Harlow, Mackenzie, Grant and Shane are ready for the bingo.

Just then, Richie comes in. Grant looks away.

MACKENZIE: Dad...this is Richie. My boyfriend.
GRANT:(awkwardly) Nice to meet you, Richie. Grant.
RICHIE: Nice to meet you too, Grant.

An awkward silence descends. At the bar, Shane tells Grant that Richie is very important to Mackenzie.

Office
Chloe tells Pierce that they really must talk as he's clearly not over what happened with Naomi.

PIERCE: Honestly...I feel stupid about what happened the other night.
CHLOE: That makes two of us! Well, technically three.
PIERCE: I should never have let it go as far as it did. I let Paul get in my ear about you having a crush on Naomi...
CHLOE: Which was bonkers. You know that, right?
PIERCE: Yeah, I do *now*. But...I didn't at the time. I don't ever want you to feel like you're missing out on things by being with me. I mean, the threesome came up with Naomi...
CHLOE: Wait, what exactly do you think I'm missing out on?
PIERCE: Well...being with women.
CHLOE: Are you saying you have a problem with me being bi?
PIERCE: No, no. Of course not. It's just...I know how much you've given up to be with me. And...sometimes I just worry, you know, what if I'm not enough for you?

Shane and Richie are chatting at the bar to escape the awkwardness with Grant. They talk about Shane's Uni work and Shane tells Richie how busy he is with it.

On the stage, Paul introduces Courtney to the stage. At a table, Mackenzie, Harlow and Hendrix tell Dipi that they're having a great time. Grant looks a bit awkward, but he is trying his best. Dipi explains to him that Courtney isn't trans, but a drag queen. It helps people express their feminine side.

Office
Chloe is telling Pierce that his sexual orientation is part of him, and she isn't bothered by it, it's part of the man she fell in love with.

CHLOE: I'm your wife. You can't be afraid to bring things up with me. We already went through that with Hendrix and Lisa, and look how that turned out. Naomi was right, wasn't she? We *do* have a problem with communication.
PIERCE: I guess so.
CHLOE: Sit down. We're going to talk this out. I don't want my husband not understanding me. Ask me anything you like.

Lassiter's Complex
Ned is doing a temporary tattoo for Yashvi. He's having a good day, and tells her that people have offered him work at other festivals. He thanks he for her support.

She laughs that the tattoo is a butterfly - she wanted a dragon! Apparently Mrs Punt has "dibs" on the dragon!

Waterhole
The bingo is in full swing. Mackenzie notices that Grant has won. He asks her to take it up for him, but she's already shouted "Bingo" for him.

Mackenzie goes up with him.

COURTNEY: Come on down, and what do I call you apart from devastatingly handsome and utterly terrified?
GRANT: Um, Grant'll do.
COURTNEY: Grant'll do. And who do we have here, Grant'll do?
GRANT: Er...this is Mackenzie...she's my daughter...

This is a massive moment for Mackenzie, who smiles at him, emotionally.

COURTNEY: Oh, well, if it's a family affair...why didn't you say so? I'm claiming you both as my sisters!

Grant and Maxkenzie are smiling at each other now. Courtney takes a selfie with them.

Mackenzie is walking on air.

MACKENZIE:(to Grant) I had a really good time today. I hope you did too?
GRANT: Yeah, I did.
MACKENZIE: I know a lot of today would have been *so* far out of your comfort zone. So, it means the world to me that you came.

She heads off to ring Auntie Trish.

Shane is just telling Grant that he did well today, when Dipi brings the mood down by saying that one nice morning won't win back her trust. She's still not happy about being kept in the dark about the money. She stalks off.

When she's gone, Shane tells Grant that some things are worth copping a bit of grief for.

SHANE: I'm proud of you, mate.

Grant looks down at the photo of Courtney, him and Mackenzie and folds it. Perhaps he's not entirely there yet.

Waterhole
Courtney is still teasing Paul by saying they should do Grease karaoke! Paul apologises for his behaviour and she takes him off for a drink.

Office
Chloe and Pierce are still talking about her sexuality.

CHLOE: How many other details are there that we don't know about each other?
PIERCE: We know the important stuff, and that's what matters.
CHLOE: Before today, you didn't get the fundamentals of my sexuality! We didn't talk about kids until your ex rocked up and forced the issue. We should have gotten to know each other *way* better before we put the rings on. We just...got blinded by the excitement of moving in together and getting engaged.
PIERCE: Maybe, OK, but what's done is done, and we are taking a different path.
CHLOE: We've skipped so many steps. Maybe...we got married too fast.
