The Waterhole
Dipi and Terese have joined Jane to celebrate her engagement to Des, which will only last 24 hours as they are getting married tomorrow! Jane admits it's crazy, but Terese thinks it's marvellous.
TERESE: And I'm not just saying that because I think it's great publicity for the hotel.
Meanwhile, Paul and Des are having a drink at the bar; Paul's glad everything worked out well. Des thanks him for bringing him and Jane together.
DES: Seriously, mate - I can never thank you enough. That's why I really want you to be my best man. I know you've done it before.
PAUL: Yeah. Actually, I've got to admit, that is the best buck's party I've ever organised.
DES: Too bad the wedding never happened.
PAUL: Yeah! How long ago was that now?
DES: Thirty... thirty-five years! (...) This time, I don't want another buck's. Well, not unless you want to get dressed up as a baby and wear a nappy again. Which I found quite disturbing.
PAUL: Yeah, I know. I'm still in therapy.
But Paul is keen to sign up to be Des's best man again, nonetheless - and says he'd be greatly honoured. They shake on it.

David pops round to talk to Susan about Finn; he's tried to call and left voicemail messages, but Finn hasn't called him back.
SUSAN: Last time I spoke to Elly, she didn't say much about him - but she did say there was a big storm coming. And now I can't get through to anyone. So I suppose the storm's knocked out the phone reception.
DAVID: (...) Have you heard from Bea yet?
SUSAN: No! Well, she texted Elly; but she's not answering her phone, she hasn't called here. Liz hasn't seen her, let alone heard from her.
DAVID: Sounds like she's not ready to talk yet. I'm sure it won't be long until she is.
But Susan still looks worried.
Lassiter's
In Jane's room, Paul and Terese are filling Jane in on the schedule for her wedding tomorrow. Jane is pleased not to have to lift a finger herself. She thanks Terese for all she's done.
JANE (to Paul): But most of all, I need to thank you.
PAUL: Me? What? I didn't do anything to deserve it.
JANE: You brought Des back into my life! And although it's not exactly traditional, I wondered if you'd do me the honour to... well, to stand beside me tomorrow, and be my best man?
Paul looks flummoxed as Des has already asked him, but before he can explain, there's a knock at the door; it's Des, with a bottle of champagne on ice for him and Jane. Terese and Paul decide to leave the nearly-newlyweds to it, Paul still looking worried by his dilemma as they go.
No 24
Mark and Paige are hanging out while little Gabe has his breakfast, and talking about how they'll square things from now on, with Mark living in Adelaide and Paige on the Gold Coast. Mark says he's been checking out cheap flights.
MARK: All we need to do is sit down with Jack, and draw up a travel roster that's fair and fits in with everyone.
PAIGE: You love a roster, don't you?
MARK: That I do.
Aaron and David come in, and fuss over Gabe. Aaron says they're heading down to the last day of the wedding expo, and invite Mark and Paige to join. There's some umming and ahhing over the logistics because they have to get Gabe back to Jack who's returning to the Gold Coast later, but Paige says it's always going to be like this from now on - they can make it work.
Lassiter's Complex
Mackenzie has dragged a not-particularly-willing Richie to the wedding expo, because it's the last day and she hasn't seen the dresses yet.
RICHIE: What's there to see? A white dress? There - done.
MACKENZIE: Oh, it's so romantic - love is totally in the air right now. I mean, how could you not love this?
She homes in on Charlene's wedding dress.
RICHIE: I prefer to eat my meringues than wear them.
MACKENZIE: But it's beautiful!
RICHIE: Okay! We can stay for a bit, but not long. We don't want to run into Harlow's oldies.
MACKENZIE: Oh, Terese and Paul will be way too busy to bother with us. Just relax - you've got nothing to worry about.
Meanwhile, Clive and Sheila are also touring the wedding dresses.
SHEILA: Oh, why on earth would Terese put that one on display? I mean, that's the dress she wore when she almost married Gary, and that was a disaster of a wedding!
CLIVE: So you've told me - many, many times.
SHEILA: Poor Gary. Why do you think he's so unlucky in love? I mean, first Terese, and then Amy, and then this horrible mess with Prue!
CLIVE: He's spending time with Kyle; he's on The Island™; he's fine. And he always bounces back.
At this point, Ned appears and announces they're drawing the first mystery prize of the day.
NED: And the winner is number 35!
Sheila's bought a ticket, and it's the winning one! She's super-excited.
SHEILA: 35 is my new lucky number!
She's hoping for a day spa voucher, but...
NED: You have won a designer wedding dress worth $7,000! So maybe instead of getting pampered, you should be getting hitched!
Clive claps hesitantly, a rictus grin on his face, as everyone else applauds!
Nearby, Mackenzie and Richie have just finished checking out one of the wedding cars being displayed, when Terese appears. They both look worried.
TERESE: Is Harlow with you guys? I've been trying to call her all morning - it's going to voicemail.
MACKENZIE: ... No, she's not with us. Not right now.
TERESE: Well, do you know where she is?
MACKENZIE: I think she went...
RICHIE: ... to the library.
MACKENZIE: ... to the movies. Sorry, I meant the library!
RICHIE: I meant the movies!
Unsurprisingly, Terese smells a rat...
Harold's Café
Des and Jane are having breakfast together, having eschewed the whole 'not seeing each other before the wedding thing'.
DES: The more I see you, the better, I reckon.
JANE: Absolutely.
Jane gets a message from Susan, inviting Jane and Des over to discuss her role as celebrant in the wedding ceremony.
DES: I dunno. I was kind of wishing we'd get married by the King like Paul and Terese did.
JANE: I know you like Elvis, Des, but it might be a bit late for that now.
Dipi comes over to check on them, and tells Jane to come over to her place with her dress and accoutrements, and she'll help her get ready. Jane suddenly becomes distracted.
DIPI: Unless you wanted to get ready on your own?
JANE: Oh, no - no, no. I... I was thinking about Nan's pearls. I wish I had them with me; it would've made me feel like I was part of it.
DES: Knowing Mrs Mangel, she'll be here in spirit. If only to haunt me for racing away with her number one granddaughter!
Des and Jane head off to Susan's, while Dipi looks thoughtful...

While Jane looks over wedding documents, Susan is giving Des a guided tour of the house he once called his own.
DES: You know, even with all the renos, it still feels like my old house.
SUSAN: Oh, well, I'm glad we could give you the full Cook's tour! Hey, how's Jamie doing?
DES: Oh, beaut! I can't thank you enough for what you did for me and him.
SUSAN: Oh, I'm just glad I found Daphne's shares and was able to help.
DES: If it wasn't for you, Jamie and I wouldn't have reconnected. If ever I'm gonna make a Christmas card list, you're on it!
Susan is a bit distracted with her phone, explaining that her niece is on an island with a patchy signal, lest we forget! Meanwhile, Jane has identified a ceremony package she wants to go for, and Des is happy to go with it.
Jane also wanted to speak to Susan about her job; she wants to hand in her notice with immediate effect, as after their honeymoon they'll be splitting their time between Perth and London. Susan's visibly a bit put out, but says she'll work something out to allow Jane to quit.
SUSAN: Consider it my wedding gift!
They get talking about the ceremony, and Susan asks who else is in the wedding party.
JANE: Just Paul. He's my best man.
DES (laughing): Women don't have best men! Paul's my best man.
JANE: ...
SUSAN: Sounds like you need to phone Paul.
Lassiter's Complex
Sheila and Clive run into Jack at the wedding expo, who's admiring some flowers in one of the tents.
SHEILA: Considering the lilies of the field!
JACK: Oh, Sheila - pulling out a Biblical quote! I'm impressed!
SHEILA: Oh, I'm not a lapsed Catholic just for nothing, you know!
There's a mailing list on the stand for prospective customers to sign up for information on the latest bargains - but Sheila notices that the last person to sign it was a 'Sheila Gibbons'!
JACK: Maybe that's a sign from God that it's time you two became one!
Clive and Sheila both look awkward, and as Jack walks off, they quickly dispense with the mailing list!
Mark and Paige catch up with Jack, meanwhile, and drop Gabe (and Mr Blankie) off with him.
JACK: There's something I need to tell you guys before we go. But don't worry, it's not bad - in fact, it actually might be good. It should be good. It is good! I'm gonna move to Adelaide.
PAIGE: What?! No way!
Jack explains there's a church vacancy opened up in Hope Valley, which will mean Paige and Gabe can also feel free to move to Adelaide to live with Mark permanently. Everyone is thrilled with this arrangement, and Paige happily hugs Jack.
Nearby, Terese is trying to phone Harlow.
RICHIE: I told you we shouldn't have come here.
MACKENZIE: You were right. Harlow's gonna kill me!
Terese tells them that neither Hendrix nor Harlow are answering their phones, 'so goodness knows where they are'. Mackenzie explains that they definitely reached the island, because Harlow texted her when they got there. Terese is concerned that Pierce or Chloe haven't called her to let her know. She sees Paul coming, and tells Richie and Mackenzie to get out of here.
TERESE: But if they're in trouble, it's on your heads. Go!
The teens scarper. When Paul comes over, Terese tries to tell him about Harlow and Hendrix, but he's too busy stressing about whether he'll be Des or Jane's best man; apparently they've left it to Paul to choose! However, Paul suddenly thinks of a way to keep everyone happy, and hurries off before Terese is able to say anything more. She makes another call.
TERESE: Pierce, hi - could you call me when you get this message? I'm really worried about the kids. I want to know if they're safe.
The Pavilion
Susan and Des are in place prior to the ceremony, when Sheila and Clive turn up. Des greets Clive with a big hug.
DES: Oh, crikey - Clive! Clive Gibbons!
CLIVE: Des Clarke!
DES: I didn't recognise you without your gorilla suit on!
CLIVE: I will never live that down.
Des introduces himself to Sheila, but erroneously assumes she's Clive's 'missus', causing another awkward moment between Sheila and Clive. They take their seats for the ceremony. Terese turns up, and Ned tells her that Jane has just arrived, so they get the ceremony underway. Des assumes that Paul's absence thus far means he's decided to be Jane's best man...
Nearby, Jane is in her dress, and hanging out with Dipi and Nell.
JANE: Such a sweet idea, having Nell here. I'm so glad you thought of it.
DIPI: Well, like I said, if Mrs Mangel couldn't be here, or her pearls, why not a girl with the same name?
Ned appears and tells them it's time to begin.
DIPI: Ready, Nellyfish?
NELL :You bet!
Dipi reminds Jane, 'Hey - you deserve this', as they walk towards the pavilion, Nell sprinkling flower petals before them. Des smiles emotionally as he sees Jane approaching.
DES: You look... beautiful. Where's Paul?
JANE: I dunno. I assumed he'd be here with you?
Paul emerges.
PAUL: I am here. But not as anybody's best man. I'm going to be your wedding celebrant instead.
Susan explains this is allowed as it's not a legal ceremony, and everyone seems happy with the compromise.
JANE: I think it's a wonderful idea!
DES: Ditto! If I'd known you'd be doing it, I'd have asked you to get dressed up as Elvis!
PAUL: Oh, yeah, very funny. It's a shame my rhinestone jumpsuit's still in the wash, isn't it?
The ceremony begins.
PAUL: Welcome, everyone, to this very special and joyous occasion...
Lassiter's Complex
David, Aaron, Paige and Mark are bidding goodbye to Jack and Gabe, who are heading home for now. David and Aaron tell Gabe they're going to come and visit when he's moved to Adelaide, as they're his new favourite uncles. The smile on his face says he agrees! While David and Aaron help Paige put Gabe in the taxi...
MARK: Jack, I cannot thank you enough for what you're doing for us.
JACK: If it's in my power to make people happy, why wouldn't I?
They shake hands.
MARK: You're a good man.
JACK: My pleasure.
Jack bids everyone goodbye, before getting in the taxi.
JACK: See you guys soon. God bless.
As the taxi drives off, Aaron notices some free cake samples, so he and David rush off to avail themselves.
MARK: You know, normally, when I'm this happy, something usually comes along to ruin it. But on this occasion, I think everything's gonna work out just fine.
PAIGE: Well, we do have God's blessing!
MARK: Well, whatever it is, I'll take it.
Paige suggests they head back to Mark's for some 'quality alone time'.
PAIGE: How else is Gabe gonna get a little brother or sister?
She drags a delighted Mark home by the arm!
The Pavilion
Meanwhile, Paul is pronouncing Des and Jane husband and wife.
PAUL (Elvis voice): You may now kiss the bride. Uh-huh.
They kiss, to the tune of Kylie's 'Golden', and everyone applauds. Jane throws her bouquet, and Sheila catches it!
DIPI: That's a sign. That is a sign.
Clive and Sheila both look panicked, and Sheila tosses the bouquet away again, where it's caught by an extra!
SHEILA: It's not a sign - not now, not before, not ever! I'm sorry, Clive - I love you to the moon and back. But after Frank, I knew that I never wanted to get married again. And we're just perfect the way we are, aren't we? I mean, we don't have to be tied together?
CLIVE: I am so relieved to hear you say that! (...) I feel exactly the same way!
SHEILA: Oh! Well, all those signs that were telling us to get married, were really signs to tell us to have this conversation!
CLIVE: Although, you do still have a $7,000 wedding dress.
SHEILA: Yeah. And I was thinking of selling that online - and the money I get, I will take us on a very sexy holiday.
CLIVE: This is why I never want to marry you, ever!
They pash! Meanwhile, Susan is filling Terese in on the storm that's enveloping the island, and cutting out all the phone signals. Terese supposes this is why Harlow hasn't been in touch.
SUSAN: I'm very worried about Bea. I've got no idea where she is.
TERESE: Well, Paul will be more than worried when he finds out about Harlow and Hendrix (...) When I tell him, he is gonna go ballistic. He thinks Hendrix is the devil incarnate.
Paul appears.
PAUL: Tell me what?
TERESE: Nothing. Nothing.
PAUL: Terese, if there is something going on with Hendrix and Harlow, I want to know about it.
Lassiter's
Back in Jane's hotel room, Paul and Terese are hugging Des and Jane respectively; Des thanks Paul for a 'bonzer day'.
JANE: After organising so many weddings, you two must be exhausted!
TERESE: I'm definitely ready to put my feet up! But business-wise, the expo's been a huge success.
Terese says that out of all the weddings, including their own row renewal...
TERESE: I think yours was the best.
They wish Jane and Des a lovely time on their honeymoon cruising Alaska. Paul tells them to visit again soon, and Paul and Terese leave.
DES: So, are you ready for the rest of our lives?
Jane turns around.
JANE: Maybe you should start on the buttons.
DES: Oh, dear!
JANE: We could be a while!
They laugh. Outside in the corridor, Terese tells Paul she can see he's struggling
PAUL: Yeah. I want to throttle Hendrix right now! And what about Harlow? I mean, she's always so sensible. Why on earth would she do that?
TERESE: I know. It's disappointing.
Terese says they'll all be home tomorrow, but Paul says that doesn't make him feel any better.
PAUL: Cos I can only imagine what went on on that island!
No you can't, Paul!
No 28
Susan is on the phone to her sister Liz, Bea and Elly's mum.
SUSAN: Yes, yes, of course I'll keep you in the loop. You do the same. You let me know the second you hear anything... Oh, Liz, I'm not deliberately trying to panic you. But Bea should've been with you by now. Something's just not right...
Susan finishes up the conversation, and hangs up. She turns to look at the framed photo on the shelf, of herself with Karl, Elly, Bea, Finn and Aster on Aster's naming day. We close in on Finn, Bea and Elly in particular. Susan looks disconcerted.

Cue title card - Neighbours End Game - overlaid on a panoramic shot of The Island™.
The Bush
Finn is rushing through the foliage with the bow and arrow, towards the sound of Gary shouting for Harlow.
Old Watson Mine
Harlow has been bitten on the arm by The Snake™, but Bea has managed to transfer the reptile into the rucksack. Bea tells Harlow to hold her arm still.
The Bush
Gary is calling out Harlow's name. Nearby, Finn sees Gary and aims the longbow at him, preparing to fire.
Old Watson Mine
Poisonous snake expert Bea is making a compression bandage for Harlow's arm, to slow the venom's spread.
The Bush
Gary is still calling for Harlow, and Finn is struggling to get a good aim at him through the foliage.
Old Watson Mine
Bea applies the bandage and tells a panicking Harlow to breathe, assuring her they'll get out of here.
The Bush
Finn continues to stalk Gary. He's just about to fire a bow at him, when he hears Pierce and Hendrix approaching, and quickly goes to hide his weapons in the bushes.
PIERCE: Hasn't the silent treatment gone on long enough?
HENDRIX: Dad, I don't want to talk. I just want to find her, okay?
PIERCE: I didn't accuse you of anything with Harlow.
Finn comes out to meet them; Pierce thinks that as Harlow's still missing, it's time to head to the mainland on the boat and get some help.
FINN: I'm one step ahead of you. Elly and I are about to leave. Just wanted to let you know.
PIERCE: Right, well, I'll come with you.
FINN: No, don't. I saw some caves back up that way (...) over that ridge. I think I saw an entrance just in the distance, but maybe Harlow took some shelter from the storm?
This ploy seems to work, and Hendrix and Pierce start heading back in the opposite direction, leaving Finn to continue stalking the territory around the mine...
The Glampsite
Chloe comes to talk to Elly. Elly is all packed and ready to leave, and tells Chloe that Finn is out searching for Harlow.
ELLY: Just hope he doesn't run into Gary.
CHLOE: Why?
ELLY: Oh, just all the attitude he's been giving him lately (...)
CHLOE: Umm... I didn't say anything sooner. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.
ELLY: Who are you talking about?
CHLOE: Finn. He had a go at me, Elly, and apparently, Gary had a similar run-in.
ELLY: Gary's never been a fan of Finn's.
CHLOE: Well, he thinks something is really off.
ELLY: Finn has worked so hard to become the person he is today.
CHLOE: I know. I'm not implying anything.
ELLY: Yes, yes you are! You're saying he can't lose his cool or say anything harsh without there being more to it.
CHLOE: ... I just thought you should know.
ELLY: This kind of talk, Chloe, is really dangerous.
Old Watson Mine
Harlow tells Bea her arm has gone numb from the snake bite. Gary is approaching, still shouting Harlow's name, and now he's close enough for them to hear him. Deciding it doesn't sound like Finn, the girls shout for help, and Gary hears, rushing towards the mineshaft.
BEA: Gary, it's Bea! Harlow's here too!
GARY: Bea?!
BEA: Yes, Gary - help, please. Harlow's been bitten by a snake. We need to get her to the hospital. The ladder's broken.
GARY: Alright, just hang on!
He finds some rope and ties it around a tree, so as to lower down a backpack full of water for them. Bea and Harlow breathe a sigh of relief. But at that moment, Finn appears again with his bow and arrow. He fires it, and it hits Gary square in the back! Gary drops to the ground.
Finn smirks in slow-motion, and walks towards the mine. He examines Gary, who is lying lifeless on the floor, the arrow still in his back - then grabs him by the arms and drags him away. Down the mine...
BEA: Gary, are you okay?
HARLOW: Why has he gone so quiet?
At this point, a rope drops down in front of them. The girls are relieved and Bea goes to grab it - but it's just Finn having fun. Soon after, he drops the other end of the rope too, and it lands in a heap in front of them. Without saying a word, he grabs his bow and arrows and walks off, smiling to himself, while the girls continue to call for Gary.
The Glampsite
Roxy is really upset about Harlow being missing, and frustrated that phone reception is still off. Kyle gives her a comforting hug. Chloe comes in.
CHLOE: Umm... have you guys noticed anything strange about Finn?
KYLE: Just that Dad's been on his case.
CHLOE: What about the other stuff that's been happening? Bea leaving, Harlow going missing?
ROXY: What are you trying to say?
CHLOE: I'm just commenting on the weirdness of it all. And we know his history.
KYLE: No, hang on. If anything was up with Finn, someone would've noticed.
ROXY: Yeah. Didn't he have to do that check-in thing where Toadie had to vouch for him?
CHLOE: That wasn't exactly an assessment.
KYLE: Well, even so - Toadie's a good judge of character. If something was up, he would've picked it.
The Mainland
Toadie's lying face-down on a beach, unconscious - a huge gash on his forehead from where Finn hit him with the rock...
The Glampsite
Elly is moaning to baby Aster that 'Uncle Finn' is still not here. Aster has puked, so Elly goes to get some wipes from Finn's bag - instead coming across details of the cabin that Finn asked Harry to arrange. Finn comes in at this point, and explains that he was thinking they could stay somewhere overnight en route to Sydney to see Bea.
ELLY: Overnight? We can't do that - we have to keep driving.
FINN: It was just a thought, never mind.
ELLY: Any update on Harlow?
FINN: Yeah, they reckon she's camping in some caves.
ELLY: Okay, so do we still need to send for help, or...?
FINN: No, I think everyone's good. We should go.
ELLY: Hey, did you run into Gary again? He seemed upset.
FINN: I don't care about Gary. I just feel bad about wasting the morning. We said we were gonna leave, so let's leave.
Elly looks a bit uncertain.
FINN: Come on.
The Mainland
Still on the beach, Toadie wakes up! Groaning, he turns over and gasps for air. Coughing, he crawls towards a bag that's also washed up, and takes out a water bottle - but it's empty. He rolls onto his back and lies there, gasping.
Old Watson Mine
Bea's still calling for Gary, while Harlow sits nearby, feverish and in pain from the snake bite.
HARLOW: it's no use.
BEA: No, maybe he's gone to get some help.
HARLOW: Or Finn did something. He's been coming here... Hey, do you think my mum's in danger, too?
Bea goes to give Harlow some water, but it hurts her throat - and her eyes are beginning to fail.
HARLOW: I can't see - I can't see!
Bea tries to reassure her, then cries out for help again.
The Bush
Finn and Elly are walking with their bags and Aster towards the beach. Elly looks worried.
FINN: You're quiet.
ELLY: Am I? ... Chloe said something before.
FINN: What?
ELLY: Well, I just said that you were worried about Bea, and we're all really stressed...
FINN: What did she say? You can tell me.
ELLY: Apparently, you had a go at her.
FINN: No.
She strokes his shoulder.
ELLY: ... It's okay if you lost it. We all do it sometimes. Is that what happened? Just tell me, I'll understand.
FINN: Chloe's just trying to cause trouble. Like she always does. Let's pick up the pace.
Finn walks on, but now Elly is even more concerned.
The Beach
As they arrive on the beach, Elly notices that Finn's bleeding copiously from his arm. He shrugs it off, saying he must have caught it on a branch - he can't remember.
ELLY: Hey, there's a lot of blood! Doesn't it hurt?
Finn stops and gazes at her fondly.
FINN: You know you get this funny look on your face when you're worried? It's like you're... like you're serious, but you're not?
ELLY: ...
FINN: It's not a criticism. It's... it's endearing. Do you remember that excursion we took, to Botany Bay? You, me, fifty unruly Year Tens?
Elly's face falls slightly as she realises in horror that Finn's memory has returned - but she retains her composure.
FINN: You wanted to recreate the steps of the First Fleet. You had the whole thing planned out, and then it started raining. In fact it started p***ing down, and all your plans went to s***.
He's laughing.
FINN: That's the first time I saw that look. Right then and there.
Elly stares back at him, not knowing what to say. Aster starts crying, and Elly seizes the opportunity.
ELLY: I think she's hungry, sorry.
FINN: Well, just feed her on the boat.
ELLY: I should probably change her here. Look, she's really, really uncomfortable.
Elly gives Finn a bottle of milk, and asks if he could go back to the boat to heat it up for her.
ELLY: Come on - you know how much she hates it cold.
FINN: ...
ELLY: Finn? I love you.
FINN (smiling): ... It's so good to hear you say that. I know we have a lot to work out, but... I think we can. We can be a family. You, me and Aster.
ELLY: ... I'd really love that.
Finn kisses her on the lips, and Elly doesn't resist, concealing her desperation to get away from him. He drops all his bags and promises to be right back with the milk.
Once he's a little way away, Elly looks in Finn's backpack. She's horrified to find Bea's phone, with all the messages Elly's sent her - and Toadie's phone, too! Panicking, Elly grabs Aster in her baby capsule and starts running. But Finn sees her, and angrily marches after her...
The Mainland
Paul is driving along in his car, presumably with a view to getting a boat to the island and finding Harlow. On the beach nearby, Toadie is struggling to his feet. As Paul drives, he sees Toadie in the distance, standing and then collapsing back onto the sand. Concerned, Paul pulls over, exits the car, and rushes down the sand dunes with a flask of water to help.
When Paul reaches the beach and pulls Toadie onto his front, he realises who it is, and quickly gives him a drink of water.
PAUL: Toadie, what happened?!
TOADIE (laboured): It's Finn.
The Bush
Elly is walking through the trees as fast as she can, desperately trying to quieten Aster, who is babbling. Finn is nearby, looking for her. He now seems psychotically happy.
FINN (shouting): Elly? I know you can hear me! What's going on, Elly? Why are you running away? You *told* me you love me! You know that I love you too. We can work this out, Elly! I have got the whole future mapped out for us! You just have to trust me! You've got to trust me, Elly... Elly? ... Elly!
The Glampsite
Hendrix and Pierce have returned to glamp, and reconvene with Chloe, Roxy and Kyle. They haven't found Harlow, and when Kyle asks if they saw Gary, Pierce replies that they only saw Finn.
HENDRIX: Maybe he's checking out imaginary caves, too (!)
PIERCE: Finn gave us a tip that didn't pan out.
HENDRIX: Yeah, we wasted ages because of him.
CHLOE: ... Finn gave you a bum steer?
KYLE: Go on. Tell them what you told us.
CHLOE: It's... I keep thinking, I'm worried about his state of mind.
The Mainland
Paul is sitting on the beach with Toadie, who's now sitting up, albeit shivering.
PAUL: So, Finn hurt Bea?
TOADIE: He muttered something along those lines.
PAUL: Try and think, Toadie. Think exactly - what exactly did he say?
TOADIE: He said something about being in love with Elly. But I dunno, it happened so fast.
PAUL: Do you know how long you were in the water for?
TOADIE: No.
Paul can't get any signal on his phone, so helps Toadie to his feet so they can walk back to the car - but they're having to go a long way round, as it's too steep to get Toadie back up the dunes in his current state. As they slowly move along...
TOADIE: I can't remember seeing Harlow or Hendrix, so they may not have made it.
PAUL: Yeah, well, I'm not gonna take any chances. Let's get you to a hospital, and then I'm going to that island.
Old Watson Mine
Bea and Harlow are still stuck down the mineshaft, Harlow now very unwell.
BEA (shouting): Help, please, someone!
HARLOW: Bea?
BEA: Help, please!
HARLOW (crying): Bea? Tell my mum I forgive her.
BEA: No - we're both gonna make it out, okay? It's okay.
HARLOW: I know she loves me, and I love her, too.
BEA: You can tell her all of that when you get out, Harlow.
HARLOW: And Hendrix... I'm sorry...
Harlow loses consciousness.
BEA: Hey, Harlow, no! Don't give up. Don't give up!
Bea desperately tries to wake Harlow up.
The Bush
Elly is hidden behind a rock with Aster, but can hear Finn nearby.
FINN: I'm starting to get angry now, Elly! I have done all of this for you, and you are letting me down!
Aster is still making noises, and Elly desperately shushes her.
FINN: I'm gonna give you one last chance, Elly! One last chance to make this right! What's it gonna be? ... Elly?!
Unbeknownst to Finn, he's standing almost on top of the rock Elly's hidden behind - but thankfully for her, he doesn't see her, and walks off in the other direction. A terrified Elly continues to try to keep Aster quiet.
The Glampsite
Chloe, Pierce, Kyle, Roxy and Hendrix are still discussing what might have happened to Harlow.
HENDRIX: I dunno, it might not mean anything...
ROXY: You need to tell them.
KYLE: Tell us what?
The Mainland
Paul is helping a barefoot and exhausted Toadie towards the road - a different stretch of road to that his car's parked on.
The Glampsite
Hendrix continues to speak.
HENDRIX: The fisherman that gave me and Harlow a lift to the island - I realised I don't really know what his deal is.
PIERCE: What's that got to do with Harlow?
The Mainland
Emerging onto the road, Paul realises his car is further away than he thought.
TOADIE: I don't think I can make it.
A car appears from around the bend.
The Glampsite
Roxy has a theory.
ROXY: Hello? A creepy man on the island and she goes missing?
CHLOE (to Hendrix): Was he creepy?
The Mainland
Paul runs into the road and waves to the car, shouting for it to stop.
The Glampsite
Hendrix admits to the group that the fisherman...
HENDRIX: ... was a bit weird, yeah. Late fifties, I reckon. I dunno how he fits in, though.
Everyone looks worried.
The Mainland
Paul thanks the driver for stopping, and helps Toadie into the back of the car, before getting in himself.
PAUL: This man needs urgent medical attention, then we've got to call the police... There's a psychopath on the loose, and he needs to be stopped.
TOADIE: Finn Kelly.
The driver turns around. It's Harry Sinclair - and he's pointing a gun at them!
The Bush
Elly is running through the bush with Aster again, now in total panic. Finn is still nearby and looking for her.
FINN (shouting): Do you realise what I've done for you, Elly? For us?! You told me we couldn't be together if Bea was in the picture. So I removed her.
Aster has started to cry. Elly is crying too, as quietly as she can.
FINN: And then Toadie got in our way, so I removed him, too! And this is how you repay me?! Elly!! ... Elly, I am not leaving without my niece.
Once again, Finn strides past the spot where Elly's hidden, and she starts to move with Aster in the opposite direction. Losing her footing, Elly falls over - and suddenly screams, as she sees Gary's body lying in the undergrowth! Finn immediately turns in her direction.
Old Watson Mine
Bea has heard Elly scream too, while Harlow remains unconscious...
The Bush
Finn has found Elly, and strides towards her menacingly.
FINN: Elly, I loved you so much!
ELLY (crying): What did you do with Gary and Bea?!
FINN: Why did you throw it all away?
ELLY (screaming): What did you do with them?!
FINN: It's not important. Give me Aster.
ELLY: No!
FINN: I am only gonna ask you one more time.
ELLY: Don't you hurt her!
FINN: I would never hurt my niece. She hasn't betrayed me. Unlike you.
ELLY (screaming): No! Please!
Aster cries as Finn snatches the baby capsule from Elly.
ELLY: Aster!
We hear Elly screaming as we cut to black.
The Beach
'Zombie' plays, as Finn retrieves jerry cans full of petrol from a life raft, and walks in slow motion back up the beach, his face a picture of fury. We see him lighting a match, then cut to flames enveloping the foliage. He's then seen emptying more cans of petrol to spread the fire further, interspersed with images of him looking sombre against the flames.
We move to an overhead shot of a huge stretch of coastline on the island burning, with great plumes of grey smoke billowing into a darkening sky. Finn speeds away from the island on a boat, an expression of grim satisfaction on his face...
Next Week

- Susan is lying on a bed with Finn
- Finn says, 'it's just you, me and Aster now'
- We see Aster in a car, and Susan, who says, 'Finn, you're not well'
- 'JACKIE WOODBURNE', says a caption
- Finn slapping his hands to his face
- 'ROB MILLS', says the next caption
- 'What did you do?!' shouts Susan at Finn
- Finn pushes Susan, and shouts angrily, 'You'll never be a mother to me!'
- Susan approaches Finn from behind, about to hit him with something
- Finn approaches Susan in a chair with some rope
- Susan screaming, 'Fiiiiiiiinn!'
- 'ONE'
- 'No- one can hear you out here,' says Finn, triumphantly
- Finn throws down a shovel, having been digging an ominously large hole in the ground
- 'MORE'
- A tearful Susan telling baby Aster she's sorry
- 'DEATH'
- Finn surprises Susan as she creeps about, saying 'It's really nice being here, just the three of us'
- Both Susan and Finn, in black, are now staring into the camera
