No 32
Elly arrives home with Aster, feeling very fraught.
ELLY: Sweetheart, I'm sorry for waking you up. I had to get out of there. I just couldn't stay there. Oh, god. Shhh. Go back to sleep, baby.
We can see Elly is crying.

Finn is sitting on the edge of the sofa, looking traumatised by his snippets of memory, and the kiss. Bea emerges from the bedroom and asks when Finn's coming to bed. She can immediately tell something's wrong.
BEA: What is it?
FINN: Just now, something...
Bea goes to comfort him, cutting him off before he can say what's wrong.
FINN: I'm just so tired.
BEA: Yeah, of course you are. It was a big day. I know you'd be missing your brother so much today. And he would be so proud of you, the way you are with Aster. You're the best big brother.
FINN: I don't deserve you.
BEA: What? Yes, you do! Look, I promise everything will feel better after a good night's sleep.
She kisses him on the cheek and hugs him, but Finn looks unreassured.
Lassiter's Complex
The next morning, Toadie is telling Shane and Dipi about an interesting event at The Waterhole he's seen advertised; he's surprised Shane didn't say anything. Shane knows nothing about it, so looks at the invite on Toadie's phone.
SHANE (looking at phone): Oh, Roxy!!
DIPI (looking at phone): Is that even legal, or hygienic?!
SHANE: She must be doing it to make a buck, to meet Lucy's targets. Who did she get permission from? I certainly didn't give it to her!
DIPI: Since when does Roxy ever ask for permission?
SHANE: This is the last thing I need now that uni's back. I've got to go and talk to her.
The Waterhole
In the office, Shane confronts Roxy, who's behind the desk.
SHANE: A naked brunch?!
ROXY: You were busy with Dipi! I had to get the ball rolling. I sent out all the invitations to the VIPs.
SHANE: Yeah, I know - I saw it! 'Undress to impress!'
ROXY: The ticket sales are going crazy - check it.
SHANE: Yeah, right - I haven't seen these kind of numbers in a long time!
Nonetheless, Shane is convinced management will not be happy.
ROXY: They'll change their mind once they see how much cash I'm raking in.
SHANE: Not if they see the jiggly bits first!
At this moment, Lucy bursts in, and introduces herself - she's popped in to give them a pep talk.
LUCY: Any plans to hit today's targets? I want you guys to think outside the box. Don't be afraid to get a little creative.
SHANE: Outside the box - got it.
Lucy promises she'll be back to check later! Shane bids her a sheepish goodbye.

Susan and Karl are surprised to realise, on a text from Elly, that she and Aster went back to No 32 last night, despite accepting their offer to stay over. Elly's excuse is that she thought Aster would sleep better in her own cot. Bea and Finn emerge for breakfast, and Susan asks if they heard Elly go home; Finn admits he was up and down in the night, but claims he didn't hear her leave.
Bea tells Finn he was really restless last night; he apologises for keeping her up. She suggests he hang out at the garage with her today before he has to work. But Finn declines the invitation. Karl remarks that he looks a bit peaky, but Finn says he's just tired, and a good feed will sort him out.
Lassiter's Park
Jane and Lucy are walking down the steps together; Lucy asks Jane how she's feeling about her reveal last night that she's been catfished.
JANE: Completely mortified (...) You could think of me as a complete idiot.
LUCY: Oh, I don't think that.
JANE: I used to. Whenever I heard of women in this situation. And now, here I am - another fool.
LUCY: Hey, stop talking about my friend like that!
Jane excuses herself from Lucy and heads over to the gazebo, where Richie and some of his schoolmates are hanging out with their skateboards.
JANE: Gentlemen, this is not a skate park.
RICHIE: Enter the dragon.
JANE: And I remember you, too, Richie Amblin.
RICHIE: Must be my natural charm.
JANE: No, it'd be the record amount of detentions I had to give you; and it looks like you're trying to add to the tally!
RICHIE: Uh, we're not in school.
JANE: No, but you are in school uniform - and if I'm not mistaken, you have a class to get to. Now.
Richie grudgingly does as he's told, but as he's walking off, a piece of paper falls from his pocket. By the time Jane gets to it, Richie's already gone - so she opens it and takes a look. She looks worried.
No 28
Elly turns up with the pram, to see Finn, who confirms that no-one else is home.
ELLY: Good. We have to deal with this right now. I feel like a monster.
FINN: Same.
ELLY: There is still so much between us. And it has to end. You're with Bea... You still love her, right?
Finn nods.
ELLY: So, we have to go back to completely avoiding each other. I can't ruin this for Bea.
FINN: Agreed. I don't want any repeats of last night, and we can't be alone together. And Bea can never know.
ELLY: We have to protect her. She deserves better.
Elly leaves with the pram. Finn looks sick with guilt.
Lassiter's Park
Jane is excitedly showing Dipi the paper that Richie dropped - there's a love poem written on it, just like the ones her catfish used to send to her online.
DIPI: Wait, wait - you think Richie...
JANE: Is Richard. Not much of a stretch with a name like that, is it?
DIPI: A boy posing as a grown man?
JANE: Dipi, look at the words! It shows an amazing depth of emotional maturity.
DIPI: I'm pretty sure Richie's still dating Mackenzie. Maybe it's for her.
JANE: Well, he was no fan of mine last time I was here.
DIPI: He's grown up a bit since then. Plus, Yashvi would've told me if he was suddenly flush with cash.
JANE: Unless he's waiting for the heat to die down, before he goes on his spending spree.
DIPI: It's a sophisticated scam for a kid.
JANE: He's a local, he has a grudge against me, and he's tech-savvy.
DIPI: Maybe you should go to the police.
JANE: No. No need. I'm very well-versed in the art of getting my students to tell the truth.
Erinsborough High School
Richie is with his mates again in the corridor, when Jane appears and asks for a chat. She hands him back the paper he dropped earlier. When he sees what it is, a visibly embarrassed Richie thanks her.
JANE: Nothing to be ashamed of! You write love letters often, do you, or love poetry? Letters to girls?
RICHIE: Not usually...
JANE: Greek islands.
RICHIE: What?
JANE: They're a place.
RICHIE: Okay. Is this a geography test, or...?
JANE: No, no, not at all. I'm just... considering going.
Richie is increasingly baffled by the conversation and plainly wants it to end!
JANE: And have you been? I hear they're quite lovely this time of year.
RICHIE: No, I've never been out of Australia.
Richie's relieved to escape, as Jane considers his answers.
Lassiter's Complex
Shane admits to Dipi and Toadie that he's given the okay to Roxy's naked brunch, on the grounds that Lucy has asked him to think outside the box.
DIPI: Yeah, there's outside the box, and then there's putting all the boxes on display!
TOADIE: Well, sometimes in order to take the pressure off, you need to take everything off - and I for one need to relax.
Dipi predicts that Sheila will be angry when she finds out; not when she sees the takings, Shane contends. Dipi's also surprised that Toadie's up for going.
TOADIE: I've dabbled in this before - with mixed results. Anyway, you know what, life is too short. You two shouldn't rule it out so quickly!
But Dipi thinks stripping off in front of Toadie would be weird! At this point, Karl and Susan turn up.
KARL: Are we talking naked brunch?
DIPI: Sadly, we are.
KARL: Oh, I'm all for it! I went to a naked music festival back in my uni days. The drummer - ooh, never seen moves like it!
SUSAN: He kept his clothes on. And it was a very long time ago. Everything's gone a bit south since then.
KARL: Oh, really, Susan? Body-shaming now? Didn't hear any complaints during last night's performance.
SUSAN: Kept his clothes on for that, too!
Everyone laughs, and the Rebecchis go on their way, Toadie vowing to see Karl at the brunch.
KARL (to Susan): A little support wouldn't hurt.
SUSAN: Indeed!
Erinsborough High School
Richie is heading out of school, until Jane catches up with him again. He says he has a free period and is heading out to get some decent food, given that the canteen food sucks.
JANE: How is it that you can afford such nice treats? Do you have a job, or do you parents give you money?
RICHIE: What's with all the questions?!
JANE: Just taking an interest in my students.
RICHIE: Yeah but, it's none of your business!
JANE: Now, don't take that tone with me, Mr Amblin.
RICHIE: But you won't leave me alone!
JANE: You have just scored yourself detention.
RICHIE: No - come on, no.
JANE: Yes. We'll be spending more time together.
Richie groans as Jane walks back indoors.
No 32
Finn turns up to talk to David. He's visibly shaking.
DAVID: What's up?
FINN: ... This isn't easy to say. There was this moment, with Elly. We kissed. And all of a sudden, I remembered kissing her before.
DAVID: ... An actual memory? Was it just one, or everything?
FINN: Just the one. But I'm scared. I mean, what if this is just the beginning?
DAVID: Alright. Well, we'll have to call Dr Bowman straight away - and the police, and the parole board. They'll take you straight to jail. We can't have a psychopath wandering around Ramsay Street!
FINN: No, no - please.
DAVID: Karl and Susan need to be in on this... Bea needs to know as well.
FINN: David, please, no! This is too much - please, no!
We cut to David trying to get Finn's attention - it turns out that the scene up till now has been a product of Finn's imagination.
DAVID: Hello? Earth to Finn! You just blanked out for a moment. Is everything okay?
FINN: ... I - I can't.
DAVID: Oh, if it's serious...?
FINN: No, no, it's not.
DAVID: Alright. Well, my door's always open if you need me.
But Finn's already rushed out of the room. David looks concerned. In the hallway, Finn is clearly very agitated, twitching and tugging at his clothing. He breathes deeply in a bid to regain his composure.
The Waterhole
The naked brunch has begun, and naked Roxy - with a strategically-placed tray of drinks - greets a clothed-but-uncomfortable-looking Aaron and Kyle as they arrive.
ROXY: You boys look a little overdressed. Would you like some liquid courage?
KYLE: Might be wise.
Roxy hands them drinks, and directs them to drop their dacks in a box. The boys begin to strip off.
ROXY: We are operating under the three Rs - relaxation, respect, and really good eye-contact. No staring, no photos.
KYLE: Crowd's a bit light.
ROXY: Yeah. You're early. There's more coming later.
KYLE: Great.
ROXY: Mostly men.
KYLE: Oh, I should've known it'd be mainly dudes!
AARON: Aww. Sucks to be you.
Karl and Toadie come in in dressing-gowns, before swiftly disrobing - and Toadie notices Gretchen and Niklas, his naturist clients from Episode 7000, when he and Sonya pretended to be naturists too to score their business! While Toadie goes to greet them, Karl joins Aaron and an increasingly uncomfortable Kyle.
KYLE: You know, this weirdly feels like one of your bike club meetings, doc.
AARON: It really does! When's our next session, by the way?
KARL: Hey, you know what? We should have a naked bike ride!
AARON: (...) Hey, we should call it the Tour Down Undies, huh?
Karl finds this hilarious.
Lassiter's Lake
Finn is on the walkway over the lake, looking pensive. Susan approaches; she's been to get something printed - a present for him. She hands him a framed copy of the photo they had together at Aster's naming day - of her, him, Karl, Elly, Bea and Aster.
FINN: You didn't need to do that!
SUSAN: It's just such a great shot, isn't it? I got one for Elly, as well.
FINN: Wow, it's... it's amazing. Thank you.
SUSAN: I meant what I said the other day. You're part of this family. I just thought it would be nice to get something to commemorate that.
FINN: ... That means so much.
The gift has clearly moved Finn. Susan heads off to school, while Finn remains, looking conflicted.
The Waterhole
We're greeted with a line-up of male bottoms as the camera drifts past the assembled brunchers. Roxy appears with another strategically-placed tray of goodies. Kyle complains that there's been no fresh meat in a while - she explains that many ticket-buyers will have backed out, 'hence the no-refund policy', but is sure some more people will turn up soon.
GRETCHEN: There's yelling from the kitchen. Something about burnt breasts!
ROXY: Oh, no - I forgot the chicken!
As Roxy rushes off to attend to it, Karl and Niklas continue a conversation they started earlier...
KARL: How can you see what you've got if you don't trim what's around it?
NIKLAS: Oh, I would just let nature take its course. It's not like it affects the size.
Toadie is sniggering in the background.
KARL: It does, though - the more sun it gets, the bigger it grows!
GRETCHEN: As long as you don't get it burned! The sun in Australia is very strong.
KARL: No, you're right - you'll need a sun shade. Zucchini's very fragile.
GRETCHEN: I think you mean eggplant?
KYLE: No, he definitely means zucchini! His zucchini! That he grows! In his garden!
Everyone cringes, including the viewing audience.
KARL: (...) Do you think people would watch a YouTube channel about this sort of stuff? I could call it 'Under My Bush'.
At this, Toadie spurts a fountain of orange juice out of his mouth, much of it over Karl, as he bursts out laughing. Karl is just squatting down to wipe the juice off the floor, when who should walk in, but Sheila.
SHEILA: What on Earth is going on here?!
Karl quickly straightens up.
KYLE: Gran, don't have a heart attack!
SHEILA: Kyle Eugene Francis Canning, get your clothes on this instant!
Kyle sheepishly rushes off to obey, while Sheila looks around, revolted.
Erinsborough High School
Jane has Richie litter-picking in the yard for his detention.
JANE: The metaphor you used about the sun and the moon - a little clichéd, but beautifully expressed.
RICHIE: Uh-huh...
JANE: Am I making you feel uncomfortable, Richie? We are in school, after all - the perfect place to discuss your surprising talent.
RICHIE: I didn't write the poem, okay? Mackenzie did - my girlfriend. She gave it to me.
JANE: What? Well, why didn't you say so?
RICHIE: Because it's my private life. The key word being 'private'?
At this point, Susan arrives, and is disappointed to see Richie on detention.
SUSAN: I thought you'd moved past this phase. Why did you get this one for?
RICHIE: No idea! And no idea why Miss Harris keeps asking me weird and personal questions, either!
Concerned, Susan sends Richie off to his next class, and asks Jane to explain. Jane tries to make her escape as well, but Susan isn't having it.
SUSAN: You're already on very thin ice after the file incident last week. You need to explain to me what was going on with Richie just now.
JANE: Yes. Alright, but be prepared to laugh. At me.
The Waterhole
Sheila is giving Shane and a now-clothed Roxy a telling off for the naked brunch, reminding them that the pub is a family venue! She demands to know which of them is responsible, and they both take a portion of the blame.
SHEILA: More proof that you two pair of cards should never be played together!
Lucy turns up, and Sheila wants to take her to the office for a chat, presumably to tell her what Shane and Roxy have been up to. But when Lucy reveals that this morning's takings from the pub are through the roof, Sheila's less eager to drop them in it!
LUCY: Impressive how well your staff can rise to a challenge! It's a sign you've trained them well.
SHEILA: Yeah, well, I do like to run a tight ship!
No 28
A frantic Finn is in his bedroom, staring at his reflection in the mirror. He paces around the room, then sits on the bed, breathing deeply - but it's not stopping him from panicking. He decides to start filming a video diary, and props up his phone as a camera to record with.
FINN: I can't keep this all in my head. I just really need to talk to someone, but what if they don't get it? I have no idea what's happening right now. But maybe if... maybe I just record it, and then people understand, you know? If it comes out. When it comes out.
He hesitates, before continuing...
FINN: I kissed Elly. Things have been really intense between us for a while, and we just couldn't stop ourselves. It just happened. But it triggered something - a memory. A real one, I know it - I felt it deep down, and it... I am praying it was just a one-off. But what if...
A thought occurs to him.
FINN: Maybe Elly's the trigger. You know, that's the only thing that's changed. If that's the case, I know I have to stay away from her. Cos I don't want to remember anything else.
He becomes tearful.
FINN: And how could I do this to Bea? I love her. I don't want to hurt her! It's something he would do. The old Finn. What's happening to me?
Finn stops the recording and continues to cry.
