No.32 Backyard
Chloe is dressed up for the Melbourne Cup. She gets the ring out of her handbag and looks at it. Aaron comes out to join her, Chloe claims she has been doing a workout before the race! Aaron compliments Chloe on her outfit, she returns the compliment. Aaron thinks she will be great on her first day as Acting Manager. Aaron notices the ring and thinks it's for Chloe to wear. She claims it doesn't work. Aaron thinks it's bigger than Chloe needs. Chloe admits that she plans to propose to Pierce but is not so sure. Aaron is stunned and wants to know why she isn't sure. Chloe explains about her chat with Elly who thought it was too soon for Chloe and Pierce. Chloe points out that it's her decision not Elly's, Aaron agrees.

Toadie arrives and wonders whether Karl is ready for today. Bea explains that Karl is asleep as he's still jetlagged.

TOADIE: Oh man I should have put a bet on that.

He's got an extra ticket now and wonders if Finn would be interested. Bea tells him that Finn isn't feeling well. Bea heads off to see if Finn is ok.

Elly is pleased that Toadie wants to sort things out with Finn, she suggests he should give it some more time. Finn has a lot going on but will sort things out with Toadie in time. Elly wants to know who Toadie had in mind to take. Toadie points out Elly is allergic to horses! Elly agrees that is the case but she doesn't want to be a jockey. Toadie agrees for her to use the ticket, she thanks him. Elly wants to sort things out with Chloe.

No.22 Backyard
Paul, Terese and Harlow are sitting around the table. Paul gets a text from Amy sending apologies for the way Kyle behaved the night before. Paul hopes that Amy is severely dealing with Kyle! Paul tries to get Terese's attention who is on her phone, Terese tells him she is paying attention and agrees with him. Terese does think it wasn't the greatest plan to request Amy does an interview for the hotel. Paul thought it would help. Terese is texting Chloe who is requesting help. Paul doesn't think that Terese should keep seeing if Chloe is ok.

Melbourne Cup
Terese gets a phone call from Chloe who's at the races. Chloe reports that things are going well. Chloe rings off as Pierce arrives. Chloe admits that she isn't so sure about having things organised. Pierce reassures her she's doing fine. Chloe tells him that people have asked questions about the spycam, Pierce reminds her to breathe. He's sure everything will go ok. Chloe is wishing that Terese would be able to be present, Pierce points out Chloe has him instead of Terese.

Toadie is talking about Pierce and Chloe's relationship, Elly denies having feelings for Chloe. She claims she is looking after Chloe as a good friend. Elly thinks it would be better for them to try living in the same place first.

Ramsay Street
Terese is impressed to see a stretch limo outside their house. Paul tells her that after everything that has happened he didn't manage to cancel this. Terese wants to get a refund if possible. Paul thinks they should make use of it and go somewhere else. They should forget the world and have fun same as everyone else!

Melbourne Cup
Toadie reassures Elly that he knows she is worrying about things but they are working at the moment. They've got the hidden cameras on their minds as well.

Pierce observes that Chloe is nervous, Aaron reassures him the reason is due to work. She has to get this event to work. Pierce agrees as it's a big event and also Chloe's in a new job. Pierce hopes that Chloe will be ok after it all, Aaron doesn't think that will be a problem! They clink glasses.

Roxy is determined to win the Lassiters Looks title. Hendrix is also convinced he's going to be the winner, Roxy isn't so sure! Hendrix tells her about his amazing custom made outfit. Roxy shows him her dress under her coat. Hendrix thinks there is a problem but won't tell her what the reason is. Roxy wants to place bets on the winner getting $50 and a year's worth of bragging rights! Hendrix agrees to this.

There is a knock to the door and Harlow goes to answer it. She is stunned to see Prue arrive with a suitcase.

PRUE: Darling I've missed you. Come on, cuddle for Mumma?

Harlow reluctantly accepts her hug.

Elly tries to talk to Chloe but Chloe needs to take a call. Elly tells Toadie she isn't impressed that her attempts to talk to Chloe haven't worked. Toadie wants Elly to calm down and enjoy the event. Toadie sees someone and tries to act cool. Elly isn't sure what's going on. Toadie explains that the person is Cosentino and is surprised that Elly has no idea who he is. He is the greatest magician of Australia! Apparently he escaped from a concrete block 10 metres down into the Melbourne Aquarium which sparks Elly's memory. Elly points towards him and Toadie stops her.

Toadie goes over to where Pierce, Chloe and Aaron are talking to Cosentino nearby. Cosentino is enjoying being in his hometown. Aaron explains they performed at a charity event together a few years ago and explains he was a dancer. Cosentino doesn't remember even when Aaron explains Cosentino made their clothes vanish! Cosentino wants to know whether Aaron will be performing, Aaron thinks it's possible after a few drinks! Chloe points out Aaron is joking! Pierce just looks at Aaron and leads Cosentino off.

Chloe reminds Aaron they're at a professional event. Aaron points out the last event was professional as well. Aaron thinks Chloe is on edge when she's about to propose. Aaron thinks it's due to her chat with Elly, Chloe denies this. Hendrix comes over and points out Roxy revealing her outfit which is the same black dress as Chloe's! Chloe isn't impressed.

Chloe goes over to Roxy who is chatting to Elly. Chloe tells her to remove her outfit, Roxy refuses as she hasn't got any underwear on, plus she's going in the competition. Chloe insists she needs to change her outfit as she is Roxy's boss. Roxy needs to either change or leave!

Harlow has been giving Prue a tour of the house. Prue admires the place but doesn't think it's a family or nurturing place. Prue wants to move things around but Harlow makes her sit down instead. Harlow wants to know why Prue is here in Erinsborough.

PRUE: Why do you think? I didn't come all this way to cuddle a koala.
HARLOW: You told me to never speak to you again.

Prue apologises for this and she definitely regrets doing that. Harlow reminds her how she felt about this at the time. Prue can tell from her aura. Harlow wants to know what has changed between then and now. Prue excitedly announces that she's left the Order. She didn't think it was right to give up on her daughter by dedicating her life to this group. Giving Harlow up was not self improvement. Harlow wants to know what Prue's next plan is.

PRUE: I want you to come home with me.

Harlow wants to know what Prue's motive is. Prue has missed Harlow and doesn't think Harlow is safe where she is.

Road Somewhere
Paul and Terese are travelling in the limo. Terese is worrying as Chloe hasn't contacted her. Paul thinks texting might work this time as all the other times haven't worked! Terese knows Chloe will manage, Paul points out that Terese told Chloe how to manage so thinks she'll be fine. Paul reminds her they've got their drinks, a lovely view in a lovely place and he's with her. He has his idea of heaven right here! Terese points out that mineral water isn't quite the same but the rest is wonderful. They shut off the window behind them and the driver and start kissing.

Pierce compliments Chloe on how she handled Toadie going crazy over Cosentino. Chloe is pleased that people are not mentioning the camera incident now. Pierce tells her they can leave that till the next day and thinks Chloe has done a great job today. Chloe agrees and they kiss.

Pierce heads off and Elly comes over. She is impressed by the event and regrets wearing heels! Chloe thinks she's looking great! Elly apologises for what she said, Chloe admits she did feel down about it after feeling so great.

ELLY: As the Queen of Spontaneous Life Choices Gone Wrong, I guess I thought I had wisdom to impart.

Elly admits she wasn't in the right. She thinks Chloe and Pierce go well together. Chloe agrees and talks about how Pierce has supported her through all that has happened with Faye. Elly tells her that she is happy for Chloe and Pierce but looks a bit wistful. Elly needs to use the toilets, Chloe offers for Elly to use the Members toilets.

Road Somewhere
The limo is still going along the road. Paul and Terese are getting redressed. This is the first time either have done this in a limo! Terese wryly comments they can cross it off the bucket list. Paul jokes about enjoying the speed bumps and they laugh. Paul pours another drink and they're going to enjoy some leisure time. Terese reminds him they will have much more free time! Paul thinks Chloe will need more help, Terese points out she has been fine today. Paul reminds her that Terese helped set today up. Chloe still needs to get used to the day to day running. Paul wants to enjoy their day off now and wants to find another road with speed bumps!

Prue and Harlow are now at the kitchen counter. After reading the Facebook article about hidden cameras, a Prue has been worried and hasn't got much sleep. Harlow points out that Paul and Terese weren't responsible for this, Prue reminds her that Paul and Terese were responsible for the cover up. Harlow thinks it's just an error, Prue disagrees for this occurring twice. Prue thinks it could recur and they're being filmed at the moment. Harlow wants Prue to stop overreacting and they haven't got cameras there. Prue thinks that the influences around are bad. Harlow reminds her that Amy lives elsewhere but Prue points out that she's very close by. Prue isn't impressed by it all. Prue seemed to like Paul and Terese at the time but insists it was only a short meeting. Harlow points out they're dealing with everything and Terese has quit her job. Prue doesn't like the unstable environment and wants Harlow to return home. Harlow refuses as she likes this place. She has good friends, a good school and her family are here as well. Prue points out she is Harlow's mother, Harlow reminds her that is the case when it's to Prue's advantage! Harlow is determined to stay here.

Toadie is joking with Cosentino about picking the winner as they head off. Aaron admires Roxy's new outfit which is a silver dress. Roxy admits that what Chloe did was actually a favour. Chloe convinced a woman in the toilets to swap outfits. Roxy hasn't coughed up yet as it will be a cut of her winnings. Hendrix is convinced he will win the competition, Roxy isn't so sure as she pours a drink over his outfit! Roxy asks for $50 which she thinks is now hers. Hendrix is determined to still win.

ROXY: You're confident for someone wearing Shiraz.

Hendrix heads off as Roxy laughs.

Everyone is impressed as Cosentino finishes a trick with a spoon. Toadie wants him to do a trick with glasses so Cosentino borrows his sunglasses. Cosentino does the trick as Chloe looks at Pierce. Everyone applauds as Cosentino makes the sunglasses topple over. Toadie asks for more tricks but Pierce needs to lead Cosentino away. Toadie follows them.

Chloe is up on the stage to present Cosentino. He does a card trick as everyone watches intently. Cosentino asks for a volunteer and picks Chloe.

CHLOE: I didn't know this was on the cards.

Everyone groans as Cosentino advises she lets him do the jokes! He finds a ring in her hair which stuns Chloe! Pierce goes down on one knee.

PIERCE: You're strong, funny, beautiful and compassionate and you make me laugh every single day.

He tells her he's learnt from her that seizing the moment is important and not wasting any time. Pierce asks Chloe to marry him. Roxy jokes that it won't be great if she refuses! Chloe produces her ring and they both laugh. Everyone cheers and applauds as Chloe goes down on one knee as well. They both accept, get up and kiss each other.

Chloe is telling Pierce she thought it was strange that he wanted Cosentino to be there. He hopes she didn't think it was a cheesy proposal, she thought it was perfect and they kiss. Chloe asks for Hendrix's reaction. Pierce hasn't seen Hendrix and Chloe realises that Hendrix didn't know beforehand. Pierce shrugs it off and they share kisses.

Toadie and Elly are watching them. Toadie wants to know how Elly is doing. Elly insists she's fine and wishes the happy couple all the best.

Prue is offering to help Harlow pack but Harlow refuses. Prue offers to do it after the last time which Harlow thinks was a waste of time! Prue offers to do it together. harlow explains that she's not heading back with Prue. Prue thinks that Harlow is upsetting her shakras and her hard work is being undone. Harlow suggests that Prue meditates until Paul and Terese return. Prue doesn't think that she needs to speak to them. Harlow wants to prove to Prue that they are the role models she needs. They are trustworthy and responsible.

Paul and Terese totter in laughing and stop when they see Prue. Paul drunkenly points out to Harlow that Prue is visiting! He falls onto Prue as he tries to hug her. Paul falls to the floor as Prue looks at Harlow disbelievingly!

Melbourne Cup
Chloe announces the Lassiter's Looks Competition as the finalists go across the stage. Aaron is also one of the finalists. The other two female finalists are unknown. Everyone cheers and applauds. Hendrix is just in trousers and braces and a top hat, Roxy doubts he will get any votes! She claims to eat her fascinator if he picks up any votes!

CHLOE: The winner is Hendrix Greyson.

Everyone cheers and applauds. Aaron congratulates him as Roxy looks furious! Chloe thanks everyone as Hendrix notices the ring on her finger. He asks what it's doing there. It seems Hendrix has missed the proposal! Chloe tells him what happened. Hendrix just looks at Pierce.
