- Elly telling James Udagawa the cameras were from a student's project (2016)
- The plumber telling Terese and Paul he found a hidden camera in a hotel room
Paul doesn't understand how Terese is so calm after finding out about the hidden camera, but Terese reminds him she was in the same boat three years ago. There's a flashback to Terese and Madison Robinson finding one of the cameras. Another flashback of Amy telling Terese that Ryan Prescott, her ex boss, was the culprit. And a third flashback of Madison assuring Terese the six hidden cameras have been disposed of. In the present, Terese tells Paul they were thorough about the camera disposal but it's a possibility this one was leftover. Paul frets, hoping the camera is inactive.
Toadie, Nell and Hugo arrive home from the US to the delight of Dipi and Shane. There are hugs all around and Toadie tells the fam that Callum's app is doing really well. Nell informs Dipi and Shane they wrote them a postcard but they haven't sent it yet. There's one for Dee too.
SHANE: You heard from Dee?
TOADIE: Yeah, we've sent a few emails backwards and forwards. She's doing well.
Dipi says that Hugo's feeling a bit warm and Toadie figures he's coming down with a cold. Shane and Dipi notice how wrecked Toadie looks and offer to feed the kids and put them to bed so he can go take a much- needed nap.
Terese tells Paul she's having a list sent to her of all the guests that have stayed in the room while the camera's been in there. They're going to do a full sweep of the hotel too, but Terese is concerned they may have interrupted a live feed, which means everything could blow up at any minute. Paul and Terese agree they need to ensure the plumber's silence and call off any scheduled maintenance until things are sorted.

Shaun talks with Finn about the programs for Sonya's Foundation and says he has an idea for a new one. He wants to set up a local branch of a program he runs in Switzerland called The Buddy Club - a mentorship program that offers support to kids in need. Finn's a tad unsure when Shaun suggests they could run it together, but Shaun offers to come to Finn's meeting with Toadie the next day and pitch the idea.

Kyle wants to hang out with Amy but she's got some work on at the hotel. Gary offers to go to brekkie with his son instead, but Kyle's not exactly enthused. Amy then gets a text to say her job's been cancelled and is confused at how short notice the warning was.
Paul tells Terese he's organised a crew to come in and search the hotel - they're not the most moral bunch but they get the job done. Terese says the cover story can be that they're checking over the OH&S. The guest list from the hidden camera room is sent through to Terese and she's aghast to see the most recent guests were Amy and Kyle. Paul's shocked when she tells him, and even more so when he finds out this has happened to Amy before.
TERESE: The cameras we found three years ago, planted by her old boss Ryan, she was on them. Look, I didn't tell you because we were rivals at the time. You were trying to get rid of me!
PAUL: If that scandal had have made it to the newspapers it would have destroyed Amy's reputation. God, if I ever get my hands on that Ryan, I tell you...
TERESE: I'm more worried about Amy when she learns she's been filmed again.
PAUL: No she won't because there is no way that we can tell her.
TERESE: What? We have to. Her and Kyle have a right to know.
PAUL: Don't you see? If this gets out that you've covered it up before, that you destroyed all the evidence...
TERESE: Hey! I managed it as best I could.
PAUL: Yes and I think you made the right call but others won't, so we have to keep this buried.
Terese says they can trust Amy but Paul reminds her they can't say the same about Kyle. Paul doesn't want to worry them until they know more about the camera, so Terese reluctantly says they'll hold off while they wait to hear from the security firm.
The next morning Finn and Shaun sit down for the meeting with Toadie. The brothers tell him all about The Buddy Club and Shaun explains he knows what it's like not to have family around. He didn't hang out with Finn until they were teenagers. Toadie likes the idea but is unsure how involved Finn could be given his history. He tells Shaun and Finn he'll look into it.

Shaun gets a text and smiles when he sees it's from Elly. He then talks to Finn about the pitch they made to Toadie and wonders if they're in with a chance. Finn thinks Shaun would have a better chance if he weren't involved. Shaun's eager to keep this a family business, though, as he wants to spend more time with his brother. Finn thanks Shaun for sticking by him.
Gary overhears Toadie and Shane talking about Shaun and Finn's brotherly bond and chips in with his own story about growing up with Naomi. Talk then turns to more family matters and Gary admits he's having a hard time with the dynamic between himself, Kyle and Amy.
GARY: Three's a crowd and all that.
SHANE: I thought you guys were getting on great guns?
GARY: It's awkward even making breakfast plans sometimes. There's not much I can do about it, just got to suck it up.
SHANE: Still, the end of the day you and Kyle have a pretty good relationship. Must have done something right.
GARY: (smiling) Thanks Shane.
Gary leaves and Shane morosely says that not every family has it so lucky.
Shane helps Dipi clear up tables. Dipi admits she's worried about how Yashvi's dealing with her break- up from Ned. Shane figures their daughter just needs some time to mull things over before cheekily admitting that the split isn't the worst thing ever. Dipi swats his arm and says she hopes he's not going to say that to Yashvi.
Amy and Kyle arrive for breakfast, but Amy spots the crew Paul hired over at the hotel and says she recognises them. Amy tells Kyle the company don't have the most upstanding reputation. She doesn't think it's good news they were hired just as her maintenance gig was cancelled and figures something dodgy is going on.
Paul notices Terese fiddling with her wedding ring and half- heartedly jokes about her having second thoughts. Terese says she's just thinking about how their honeymoon feels like a lifetime ago already. Amy walks in and wants to know what Donovan's crew are at the hotel for. Paul and Terese say it's just for safety measures and then pretty much give her the brush off under the pretence of attending a work conference call. Paul looks guilty when Amy leaves.
Dipi's on the phone to Shane and is surprised to hear that Grant wants to catch up with Mackenzie again. Shaun walks in and finds Toadie, apologising for bothering him but he wanted to check in after their meeting. Toadie reiterates that he loves the idea, but unfortunately he's made some calls and there's no way Finn can get clearance to work with children. Shaun says there has to be a workaround but Toadie says the laws are very strict for good reason.
SHAUN: He'd be brilliant; we both know it.
TOADIE: We are not bending the rules. Not when it involves kids.
SHAUN: So he'll be stuck doing admin?
TOADIE: No. Unfortunately Finn can't be involved at any level. So if you want this buddy program to happen, and I sincerely hope that it does, you're gonna have to find a way to do it without him.
Shaun looks upset by the thought.
Amy finds Kyle and tells him that the crew are there for overdue safety checks, but she's still really suss on the whole thing. Kyle smirks and says that if Amy thinks her dad is hiding something then he probably is. He encourages her to go back in and find out the truth, saying he'll come with her.
At another table, Shaun delivers the bad news to Finn about the buddy program. Finn is downhearted but not surprised and tells Shaun to do it without him. Shaun says it wouldn't be the same, "It's supposed to be a brother thing." Another blow is dealt to Finn when he finds out he can't even do the admin. He feels bad for letting Shaun down.
Paul and Terese try their best to put Amy and Kyle off the scent. But Amy and Kyle notice a weird look between the newlyweds and Terese confesses the truth about the camera. Kyle is particularly angry, but Amy's appalled and distressed when Paul says it might be equipment left over from a 'problem' that happened three years ago.
KYLE: Hang on; this isn't the first time you've found hidden cameras?
AMY: No... my ex boss Ryan, he was responsible, and I helped him get a cleaning contract here.
KYLE: Okay, well if you 'dealt' with this three years ago then how come there's still cameras?
TERESE: Because we thought we'd found them all. But maybe this one just slipped through the net.
AMY: Or it didn't and this is something else.
Paul says that's why they brought the crew in - they'll get to the bottom of it.
Dipi gets off the phone with Mackenzie and tells Shane she's agreed to meet with her dad again. Shane gets out his phone to call Grant and Dipi says to let him know he can pop over later before the girls head to the school dance. This gives Shane pause. He just hopes that Grant doesn't do or say anything hurtful to Mackenzie to ruin her night.
Amy feels sick at the thought of people watching them on the camera. Kyle is super riled up and says if it is Ryan then it's Paul and Terese's fault. Amy replies that her dad wasn't involved and Terese handled it as well as she could at the time.
KYLE: What? By letting that creep walk away? Why didn't she call the cops?
AMY: If word got out it would have ruined the hotel.
KYLE: Which is why her and Paul want to keep it all hush hush again. All they care about is protecting themselves! Babe, the camera could have recorded hundreds of people.
AMY: I actually think they're doing the right thing by keeping it quiet until we have more information.
KYLE: Even if this isn't Ryan, Terese not reporting him three years ago means he's been free to do the same thing to someone else.
Kyle leaps up and storms towards the police station. Amy tries to stop him and begs him to think about Terese and what it would do to her.
AMY: Leave it with dad. He can do things the police can't.
KYLE: Wow, are you serious? After all the stick you've given him about being dodgy, you're just happy for him to go vigilante on this?
AMY: That's not what I meant. It's complicated.
Kyle replies that it's not - he's going to deal with it right now. Amy watches on in distress as Kyle heads into the police station.
