- Terese tells Roxy not to ruin her day with Paul and Harlow.
- Roxy tells Harlow that if she's here for happy families, she's out of luck.
- Terese sees Roxy call a friend and claim that she's over that waste of space Vance.
- Harlow wants to know about her father, but Paul is too upset to tell her what Robert did to him.
- Paul engineers things at the Bachelor auction so Amy could hear Kyle talk about how much he wants kids.
- Amy tells Kyle she still loves him.
Amy apologises for telling Kyle. Amy doesn't know what to do about Gary, she still loves him. Kyle says its messy (massive understatement there Kyle.) Amy tells Kyle to organise his date, and tell Gary she went home.
Back Lane Bar
Roxy is taking selfies at the bar. Leo lectures Roxy about it, and tells her no amount of bikini shots is going to get Vance's attention. Roxy sips some cocktails, telling Leo to leave her alone. She takes a bottle of vodka and storms off.
Gary laughs about Vera buying Aaron at the auction, Sheila is pleased they raised a lot of money for Sonya's foundation. Gary says he found a 'ripper' travel deal for Bora Bora, the catch is they'd have to move the wedding forward to next month. Gary thinks Amy will be okay with it as she wanted to move the wedding forward when she wanted a baby (clearly he hasn't learned anything from his surprise wedding a few months ago.) When Paul arrives, Gary tells him that he's taking Amy on an amazing honeymoon, he got a discount. Paul is horrified that she's taking Amy on a discounted honeymoon. Paul doesn't think Amy will go for it, she doesn't like luxury resorts. Gary says its Amy's decision and walks off, while Paul and Sheila share a concerned look.
Paul returns home, Harlow is reading on the sofa, while Terese is in the kitchen. Paul tells her about the auction. Harlow notes that its all just a game of human chess to him. She offers to play a game of Risk with him. She says she called the prison but Robert still isn't taking any visitors. Apparently there isn't much chance of him seeing her in the near future, but Harlow has questions that only he can answer, Robert is still her father. Paul tells her not to trust what Robert says. Harlow asks Paul for more information about Robert, but Paul changes the subject back to the game.
Number 24 - Back Yard
Paul and Terese are having breakfast the next morning. Terese asks if Paul had considered what he would say to Robert if he sees him again. Paul says there is something and leaves. Leo arrives to talk about Roxy. He thinks she's lonely and she doesn't have anyone here she can talk to. Someone needs to get past the walls otherwise Roxy is going to crash and burn.
Roxy lies face down on one of the table when Terese walks in. Terese says she was upset about Paul last week, and the things she said last week could have been said in a better way. Terese says the postings for Vance on social media aren't real.
TERESE: Can you honestly say you're living your best life?
ROXY: Can you honestly say that you give a rat's ass?
TERESE: Yes, honestly. That's why I've called your parents.
Terese has invited them to visit Roxy, and asks her to consider going back with them if she's that miserable. Roxy doesn't think there is a point without Vance there. Terese says her parents are coming tomorrow.
Paul holds a letter in his hand, but puts it in his pocket as he approaches Kyle and asks about his date with Macayde. He asks why Amy left the auction early yesterday, but Kyle says she's fine. He sees Kyle working on an invoice for Jemima for the tram. He decides to leave Kyle to it.
Harold's Café Exterior
Roxy tells Harlow not to say she didn't warn her about the house of horrors.
HARLOW: Roxy, I've seen your socials, I'd prefer you didn't project your issue onto me.
ROXY: What exactly are you talking about?
HARLOW: You blame Terese for what happened between you and your, excuse me for saying, but inappropriately aged boyfriend...
ROXY: Your English accent almost makes it sound like you know what you're talking about.
HARLOW: I understand you're upset, all those fake photos...
ROXY: They're not fake.
HARLOW: They make you look desperate.
ROXY: Well it could be worse, I mean, my dad could be some locked up psycho who doesn't talk to me.
Roxy walks off.
Gary suggests the honeymoon package in Bora Bora to Amy, they'd need to book asap and bring the wedding forward to next month. Amy refuses, she has jobs lined up. Gary thinks it is too good an opportunity to pass up.
Terese gets a call from Gemma, and sounds concerned. Paul tells Harlow that a few years ago he thought he had cancer, and he decided to write a letter to each of his children. He shows her the one he wrote for Robert, but he couldn't send it, there was too much pain between them. He wanted to make amends and it's only time he considered reaching out to Robert. Paul couldn't send it though, there's no chance of going back, but he gives Harlow the letter saying it could do good for her and Paul's relationship. Everything he can tell her about Robert is in that letter.
Gary is still trying to convince Amy about the honeymoon, Amy is concerned about the money. Gary says the tram job has him raking it in. Kyle says he got a phone call from Jemima, another invoice came in after the one he sent and she's been billed twice for the oven. Gary doesn't know anything about it. Amy says they don't want Jemima thinking they've pulled a swifty, invoicing twice for something is the oldest trick in the book. Kyle goes to call Jemima and sort it out.
Back Lane Bar
Terese comes in to break the news to Roxy that her mum and dad aren't coming down to see her. Adam and Gemma have decided to have a trial separation.
Gary continues to do my head in, trying to sell this honeymoon to Amy. Amy can't keep thinking about the expense, Gary thinks she's accusing him of double invoicing Jemima. Gary and Amy start shouting at each other, he tells her just to go to work.
Outside the Waterhole, Sheila accuses Paul of double invoicing Jemima. Paul admits he was behind it, and says Amy will now be thinking that Gary is up to his old ways.
SHEILA: Paul you have gone too far. Messing with their relationship is one thing, but meddling with people's livelihoods, my family's livelihoods, and what if Jemima thought that Kyle and Gary were trying to scam her and fires them?
It turns out Kyle is sitting nearby looking at his phone and only just starts listening in to hear Sheila and Paul arguing. Paul tells Sheila that she wanted Gary and Amy over as much as he did. As Paul leaves, Kyle accuses Sheila of working with Paul to split them up. Kyle demands her to tell him everything.
Back Lane Bar
Roxy cries while looking at her selfies on her phone.
Kyle arrives and tells Amy there is something she needs to know. Amy interrupts and says she's breaking up with Gary. She considered that he might be scamming Jemima, even though she knows he didn't, her mind still went there. They're always at each other, the signs have been there for a while. She can't stay with him while she still has feelings for Kyle. Amy says she and Kyle will need to build their trust again, he really hurt her. Kyle says he'll never forgive himself for what he did to her. Amy is resolved, she's breaking up with Gary. (hoorrayyyyy, finally!!!)
