Ebony's office
Ebony and Chloe continue to trade polite insults at each other before Ebony asks, "are you calling me a gold digger?" Chloe's reply is to point out how her venture is being financed!

EBONY: You know, you think whatever you like, Pierce supports my dreams. You just stay away from him and we won't have a problem.

Chloe gets that Pierce honestly loves her, but asks the question:

CHLOE: Do you love him for the man he really is. Not his wallet?
EBONY: What's not to love?

Number 30
"He's so used to her now. It's like they've never been apart," Toadie comments to his brother as the pair stand in the kitchen watching Andrea (in the livingroom) tell Hugo a bedtime story, down heartened that the little lad won't remember Sonya doing that with him.

The pair then start discussing whether or not to let Dee (should she be found) into the kids' life causing more upheaval, and Shane suggests they keep them out of it. "Can we?" Toadie asks, and wonders what can of worms would be opened should they find her?

SHANE: And not just for the kids.

"I'm not worried about me," Toadie replies and confirms that he isn't going to track Dee down - he can live without knowing the answers... again!

SHANE: Keep life simple eh. Sounds like a plan.
TOADIE: Dee's in the past... for good.

Andrea's happy time comes an abrupt end when she receives a text message informing her she's been fired!

The Waterhole
Chloe is unloading her woes about Ebony to Kyle when Gary and Amy arrive. The men are immediately at loggerheads with each other as they thought the opposite was picking up some samples - as a result there is none to look at, so to prevent more arguments, Amy leads Gary out of the pub.

CHLOE: Happy families?

Chloe asks Kyle if she should tell Terese about Ebony not being "on the level with Pierce, that she's a blood-sucking money fake... or should I just go straight to Pierce?" "Neither!" is Kyle's choice and tells her instead to have faith in Pierce because he isn't stupid and equally wouldn't be happy hearing his fiancée be bad-mouthed!

Number 30
Toadie tries to tell Andrea that they can't sack her like that, but it turns out that the job was a cash in hand one and reassures Willow that she will be fine, spending time with her kids makes it all worthwhile.

Number 30 (next day)
Mark drops by with an update - Heather has been spotted checking into a hostel in the [Melbourne] Central Business District and a police car is on its way to check it out. Both Rebecchi men are dubious as they thought she'd keep her distance plus Andrea said she was in WA. Mark suggests that perhaps Andrea has been lying to them (to throw them off the scent) and has also been in contact with Heather all this time? Toadie isn't sure given Andrea risks losing access to Hugo and Shane comments that given what Andrea has said during her hypnosis sessions, would she really help Heather?

MARK: Well, either way, Heather is nearby, and we need to focus on that.

Lassiters hotel foyer
Plucking up the courage, Chloe asks Pierce if he's done his "due diligence" on Ebony and his reply is to ask if she is "trying to imply something?" Chloe explains it so he doesn't repeat what happened with her. Pierce reads what really is up with Chloe and points out that if she has an issue with Ebony, then she doesn't need to work with her, afterall "it would be understandable if things were awkward." She swears to him it's not that and realises that she probably shouldn't have said anything to him. He politely suggests to her that she keeps out of his love life from now on.

The pair are spotted chatting by Ebony when she comes into reception (they are chatting slightly away from it) and as soon as Pierce leaves, she is immediately over to Chloe, demanding to know what she was talking to Pierce about! "Your paranoia," Chloe jokes which goes down like a lead balloon, so she then says "work" since he is a business associate. Ebony is after Chloe to pick up some samples for her, all of which Pierce is picking up the tab for.

Number 30
Toadie has invited Andrea to the house to inform her (and Willow) of the updated news about Heather. Both seem shocked initially when he informs them that Heather could be in Melbourne. Willow admits to feeling nervous about it too, while Andrea calls out "that bloody woman" the memories from the hypnosis fresh in her mind. Toadie acknowledges that the news is tough, but both need to keep looking after themselves, and on that note, Willow wonders if they should get Andrea to a doctor (she is starting to get really worked up) but she rejects the offer.

On top of Andrea's woes of losing her job, it seems her lease is up for renewal too, but she rejects Willow's offer of help to find somewhere else.

Ebony's office
Pierce is impressed with his fiancée's office when he arrives. She however isn't impressed at him subtly asking how things are with Chloe, eventually confiding in him that it is getting to her everyone saying how full-on he was with Chloe. "You have nothing to stress about," he reassures her with. She rejects his offer to talk to Chloe, suggesting that if he gives them space, then perhaps they could become friends?

EBONY: But let me handle this by myself, yeah. This is what I'm good at.

Harold's Café
Andrea calls her mum to give her the heads up that the police are after her and that she needs to get out carefully! Before she ends the call (because Willow has come into the café) we find out that the so called 'job text' was actually a text message from Heather arriving!

Andrea lies to Willow over who it was she was talking to on the phone, lying that it was about having to move out of her house. Willow offers to help pack up her belongings and to see if there is space at the backpackers, which Andrea turns down. She then lies to her daughter again, claiming that Heather hasn't called because "she's not that stupid" to want to end up in jail.

Willow quizzes her on her reaction earlier [when talking about Heather], and after taking Willow's hands, Andrea puts that down to being in shock but adds that after thinking about it, she doesn't need to be affected by Heather anymore.

WILLOW: Even though she could be out there somewhere?
ANDREA: Yes, she could be, but she's not going to come here.

Power Road
Chloe stops by to chat with Kyle after being out to get the items Ebony wanted. She admits to him about telling Pierce her worries regarding Ebony, however he thinks that she might have made things worse!

CHLOE: Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Chloe places the stuff into the back of Pierce's car after he stops by (Ebony wanted to see the tram). Being all sweetness and like, Ebony acknowledges that perhaps there has a weird vibe between them but hopes that they can get through it! "I hadn't notice," Chloe lies between her teeth in reply and tries her hardest not to accept the pressie Ebony is offering her (a reject thing she bought herself!) as a peace gesture!

"That was nice of her," Kyle remarks after the due have driven off to which he gets the naff garment thrown in his face!

Lassiters Complex
Chloe catches up with her brother to ask what legal searches she can do on Ebony because she doesn't trust her "as far as I could throw her." Immediately Mark makes it clear he isn't using the police database, but Chloe is insistent on the search being above board. "Sounds like you should be minding your own mind," Mark bluntly tells her, but she immediately counteracts by telling him that it is "her business" because Pierce has been really good to her.

CHLOE: He's a special person and if someone's taking advantage of him, he needs to know. Don't you think?

Number 30
Mark has been in contact with Toadie to inform him that Heather has packed up and left the hostel. "I can't believe we got this close and lost her again," Shane laments but Toadie is a realist and knows where Heather is involved, they shouldn't be too surprised!

Toad runs an idea he has past his brother - he wants to put Andrea up in Lassiters for a few nights. "Why would you want to do that?!" is Shane's immediate reaction. Toadie explains that she is being evicted, but Shane really meant why is he getting involved? "For Willow," Toadie replies because the lass is worried that despite what Andrea says, she is fearful that her mum is going to have another setback.

TOADIE: I just don't know if this is the right thing for me to be doing.

Shane gets where Toadie is coming from and eventually tells his little brother that he's to "do what you need to do."

The Waterhole
Amy is seeking refuge in the bar with Elly having had enough of the 'not dream team'! "They will argue about anything," an exasperated Amy says, and Elly hopes things will settle down soon. Changing topics, Elly replies that things are good between her and Shaun, but the conversation is suddenly stopped when Elly spots Mark coming into the bar with his sister.

Mark's advice to his sister (about Pierce and Ebony) is that she should bide her time - folk aren't great at keeping secrets long term!

MARK: It eventually comes out.

"Let her expose herself," he says, warning that if she gets involved then it might affect her friendship with Pierce before adding that she should be ready to be there for him when it's over.

Number 30
After telling Andrea (and Willow) that he plans to put her up in Lassiters for a few days, she rejects Toadie's kind offer because of the cost and the fact he's done "too much for me already." He tries to explain that it's for Hugo and Willow's benefit too and going for a compromise - she can see it as a loan to be paid back. She now agrees and promises she will pay him back as soon as she can.

ANDREA: I won't forget this. I don't deserve your kindness. Haven't been shown a lot of kindness in my life, so...

Lassiters Complex
The 'not dream team' are at it again - this time both father and lad have the samples!

Ebony spots Chloe watching the warring Canning's and hands over something to be urgently dry cleaned for her romantic night with Pierce. "I hope you and Pierce have a lovely evening," Chloe says through gritted teeth before going off to carry out her duties.

Andrea's flat
Andrea opens the door to the flat and drops in the first lot of empty boxes ready to be filled up. Thankfully Willow has gone back to the car for more boxes so doesn't see the guest awaiting them, sitting on the bed - Heather!

ANDREA: What are you doing here?!
HEATHER: Well can't a beloved mother visit her daughter?
