Number 22 (back garden)
Ned and Piper return from Boxing Day shopping to find Terese looking unhappy. They ask if everything's ok.

Lassiters Complex
Leo drags a suitcase through Lassiters, greeted by Paul and Jane who are drinking wine outside. He asks Paul if he can move back into the Penthouse which Paul quickly agrees to. Jane asks about Terese and Leo admits that they've broken up. She then leaves father and son to chat. Paul soon cottons on to the fact that Delaney is involved, wondering if there is any alternative to what's happened. Paul says he wouldn't wish this on Leo and Terese despite their history.

Number 22
Terese tells Ned and Piper what happened. She can't quite believe it and wonders whether there's more to it, as Leo's decision to end things didn't quite ring true.

Lassiters Complex
Leo admits he's not sure whether Terese believes that he wants to end things with her. However, she doesn't know anything about Delaney's blackmail. Paul makes a comment about Delaney blackmailing Leo for being the informant but Leo admits that's not the only reason; he's also protecting Paul for disposing of Mannix. Paul feels extremely guilty.

Number 22
TERESE: He told me he loved me, literally yesterday. You don't go from that to ending things just like that, with no reason.

Ned points out he might have something genuine with Delaney. Terese isn't convinced.

PIPER: What are you gonna do?

The Waterhole
Delaney asks Leo whether it was difficult breaking up with Terese. He implies that it was, but she dismisses their relationship based on the fact that they weren't together that long. She compares it to her and Leo, mentioning how they've known each other for 4 years.

DELANEY: History like that doesn't just go away.
LEO: You can't really measure relationships in days or months. It's more about how you feel in the moment. I'm sure you'll get it when you're older.

Delaney looks offended but insists she wants to make every moment count if Leo will give her the chance. They hold hands as a shocked David looks from afar.

Number 28
Bea and Susan discuss the person who contacted Susan requesting to meet to discuss Finn. Bea is naturally very concerned trying to dissuade her from following through with this, but Susan insists that she's meeting him in public and it's perfectly safe.

Karl walks in, having just arrived home from visiting Holly. They start catching up but Bea soon encourages Susan to tell him the news about Finn. She tries to deflect but Bea won't give up, forcing Susan to eventually retreat.

SUSAN: Bea, we'll talk about the other thing later.
KARL: What other thing?
SUSAN: (hesitant) A strange gift. From someone connected to Finn.

Karl looks shocked.

Lassiters Hotel
Leo walks Delaney back to her hotel room. She invites him in but he declines, wanting to take things slow. She soon gets mardy, reminding him that she's the one who calls the shots, but says she's no longer in the mood, so slams the door in his face.

Number 28
Karl does everything in his power to convince Susan not to meet Shaun. He points out that it's a legal minefield given the charges she faces, but she admits that her guilt behind pushing Finn off the cliff is a driving force behind her decision. Karl suggests that the photo-album is an indication of someone just as unstable as Finn. Susan still insists on meeting Shaun, so Karl says they'll have to meet him together.

The Penthouse
David starts questioning Leo about his romance with Delaney, finding it odd that they're together given how hard he fought to be with Terese.

LEO: That was a mistake.
DAVID: That doesn't make sense.

Leo tells David how close he and Delaney used to be but David reminds him that was years ago, back in Sydney. Leo begins to lose his patience, saying that everyone needs to accept he and Terese are over.

Lassiters Complex
Terese sits in the dark thinking about Leo breaking up with her.

Harold's Store
Aaron watches Delaney in the distance while on the phone to someone, presumably David. He says he'll find out what he can.

He greets Delaney enthusiastically, reminding her that they met yesterday. She quickly recognizes him and he asks her how she's getting on with Leo. Delaney says they're getting on well but she wishes Leo would relax a bit. Aaron points out that Leo has only just come out of a serious relationship, but Delaney becomes dismissive of Terese.

DELANEY: Yeah, well, Seniors Week is over now (chuckles)

She thinks Leo might appreciate a 'big gesture' but Aaron isn't convinced. She becomes dismissive again, insisting that Leo wants this relationship just as much as she does.

The Waterhole
Karl and Susan wait apprehensively before Shaun enters. He greets Susan before Karl berates him strongly for leaving the photo-album on their doorstep.

SUSAN: How do you know Finn?
SHAUN: He's my brother.
SUSAN: We understood that his family was dead.
SHAUN: I suppose that story might have been easier for him. He's actually my half-brother. Our mum separated from Finn's dad when Finn was a baby and then she met my dad and had me.
KARL: Right, so you grew up with him?
SHAUN: No, his dad got custody and mum didn't want much to do with him. When she married my dad she pretty much started a new life.

Karl and Susan probe Shaun about why he gave them the photo-album. He says Finn made it for their mother and he wanted to show the Kennedys that Finn was a good person once; Shaun blames himself for how Finn turned out.

SHAUN: He turned into the monster he is because of me.

The Penthouse
Delaney excitedly bursts into the Penthouse to tell Leo that she's found a great package deal at a winery to get away for a few days. Leo says he can't go away right now as it's their busiest time of the year. Delaney says it might be a good opportunity for them to get closer but Leo is resistant to her advances. She soon begins to make threats again which irritates Leo and he tells her he'll be with her, but he can't force feelings that aren't there. Delaney looks upset.

The Waterhole
SHAUN: I dropped out of school when I was 17 and asked Finn to go to South America. He wanted to volunteer in South East Asia but I gave him a hard time about wanting to be such a do-gooder.
KARL: (laughs) I'm sorry I'm just not buying this altruistic picture you're trying to paint.
SHAUN: Anyway, we were in Colombia, when we were on our way to see the Rock of Guatapé when the bus we were on got pulled over by a guerilla group.
SUSAN: That's terrifying, what happened?
SHAUN: They wanted tourists. They were known for kidnapping wealthy travelers and demanding ransom money. Mum paid the 200 grand for me, but not Finn. Dad was loaded, they could have bailed out the both of us but they blamed Finn for us being there. I told them what Finn was going through, they left him there to rot.
KARL: Well what about his father?
SHAUN: He didn't have that sort of cash. He only got out when the military raided the guerilla's camp. He was there for 6 months.

Karl and Susan are taken aback by Shaun's elaborate story. Shaun says he doesn't want them to forgive Finn, but it might help them understand why Finn turned out the way he did.

Lassiters Lake
Delaney tells Paul about Leo's rejection, asking for advice on how to remind him that they have a connection. Paul is brutally honest, telling her that Leo is in love with someone else and those feelings won't just disappear. Delaney concludes that she'll just have to be patient, joking that the hotel perks will have to keep coming in the meantime.

Lassiters Complex
Paul tells Leo that he's had a chat with Delaney, managing to get her to back off. He hopes to find a more permanent solution to dealing with her soon. Leo thanks Paul who heads towards the hotel. Terese exits to be confronted by Leo, who proceeds to ask how she is. She's still very upset, admitting that it feels like there's something he's not telling her. Delaney watches in the distance with a guilty expression on her face.

Number 28
Karl and Susan tell Bea about meeting Shaun. Bea is unwilling to believe the story about Finn's kidnapping but Susan says she spoke to an old journalist friend of hers who confirmed that there were rumblings of a story about a kidnapping around that time which was kept out of the media. Now that they've heard about Finn's past, Karl is keen to move on but Susan still looks deep in thought about the revelations.

Lassiters Complex
Piper asks her mother why she doesn't just take a day off and spend some time in the spa, but Terese says that's not like her at all. Jane exits the hotel and tells Terese how sorry she is to hear about her and Leo. After she leaves, Terese says she suspects that whatever Paul's up to (in terms of her break up with Leo) he must be keeping it from Jane. Delaney approaches much to their dismay. She invites Terese for coffee to which Piper responds in a hostile manner. However, Terese agrees after Delaney says she just wants to be mature and talk about things. She asks Terese to meet her shortly in the foyer.

Number 24
Aaron tells David that Delaney seemed a little insecure about Leo's feelings for her. Despite this, it's clear she won't give up on him! Aaron encourages David not to worry, but David has a gut instinct that something's not right.

Lassiters Hotel
Terese waits in the foyer, as Leo and Delaney talk in the lift. Delaney begins to kiss him passionately as the lift opens. Terese looks devastated.

- Elly shouts at Liz who says she is just trying to help.
- Chloe tells Mark she's worried she'll never find a relationship as good as his with Elly.
- Terese shouts at Leo.
- Ned and Terese watch Leo and Delaney kiss.
