Number 22
Piper has to quickly close the file when she hears her mum and Leo's voices as they make their way into the kitchen. Leo puts the file into his bag then enlists Terese's help in putting the Christmas decorations, but Piper has other plans... like staring at Leo's bag wishing she could get inside it!
Number 26
Amy and Gary are talking about Alice when Xanthe (and her laptop) arrives to see how she's got on in her exams. With Sheila on the phone (to Xanthe), they together see how she's got on at the same time - and she's done it, she has scored 89.5! We hear Sheila has passed too (65) so cue happy faces and words all round!
Gary thinks she is in to medical school already, as she's got higher than last year's cut off, but Xanthe would rather wait until she hears officially before totally celebrating.
Ramsay Street
Outside #22, Mark brings Terese, Piper and Leo up to date on what Alice did and none of them can believe it.
Leo then gets a call on his phone, which he quickly cancels saying its telemarketing. Terese tells him to get his number on the do not call register (Piper did hers), but he doesn't want that to happen.
Harold's café
Dipi and Shane have summoned Yashvi to hear how well she got on in her exams, but she's not checked yet. Shane hasn't either as he wanted them to look together, with Dipi hopeful that they've both done well. Yashvi tries to use what happened to Sonya as a way of stalling but is told to check her phone.
Eventually they "rip the band aid off" and check their results. Shane is thrilled with his 83 as it means he can go to Uni and praises his daughter once she finally reveals her score - 64. Dipi reminds her she's met the score to get into the sports management course she was interested in although Yashvi can barely reach any enthusiasm to celebrate that!
Lassiters Complex
As they exit The Waterhole, Gary can't believe that he's fathered a future doctor. Amy also praises him for the support he has given his daughter especially with the tough year she has had. Gary then gets a text about another job, so has to call off the plans he made with Amy.
Just after he leaves, Amy spots an upset Aaron sitting beside the lake.
Number 22
"I'm glad we did this," Terese remarks after seeing the tree up in the livingroom. The tree has also brought back memories about Josh and Christmas, which she tells Leo about. She's suddenly remembered that they've forgotten the kid's homemade decorations and heads out to the garage to get them, which conveniently allows Leo to call the number that he had to pretend again was a telemarketing call. Whoever it is, he seems to know them given the relaxed nature of the call and agrees to call them back later.
Harold's café
Xanthe receives warm congratulations from Elly and Piper as they come in for lunch. They spot Yashvi and after she asks about Xanthe's score, tells them hers and receives plaudits for the better score than she was anticipating.
The Waterhole
Aaron tells Amy why he is upset, and she reminds him that he can still be a dad, its just David's swimmers they need to use. "I know," he replies and puts it down to his "stupid ego thing."
AMY: You and David are going to have a family one day however it happens, you are going to be the most incredible dad.
AARON: Thank you Amy, that means a lot.
They start talking about how Gary is going on his new job and she's just telling him about Gary's side-line when her phone rings and she ain't happy!
Robinson Heights
And that bad news is that the solar panel inverters and battery back-ups have been stolen from 20 properties in the development. "This isn't an inside job is it?" Aaron asks, and Amy admits she'd not thought of that after confirming that a security guard is meant to check twice a night. She confirms that the insurance will cover it eventually but given the houses are ready to be occupied, the delay is going to be a logistical nightmare!
Harold's café
After Terese passes on her congratulations to Xanthe, Piper pulls her aside to ask about the Christmas decorations and if it was weird Leo wanted to decorate the house. "I think its really sweet," her mum replies back and Piper feigns excitement to ward her mum off.
"Are you still worried about Leo?" Xanthe asks when Piper returns to the table. "Yes," is the reply and tells her mate about looking inside the file (at home not at work so no ethics broken) and knows he is hiding something. She then goes onto tell Xanthe about the photo of the late teenage girl she saw in it and accompanying it was a list of payments. Piper also adds that Leo was very keen to hide the file too when he came downstairs with Terese. After agreeing that it is weird, Xanthe wonders if the girl is a secret lovechild, but Piper vetoes that on the age she looked.
PIPER: I just don't want mum to get hurt, he lives with us now, I'm worried about her.
"No, Leo's a good person," Xanthe exclaims but Piper reminds her that they thought that too about Cassius and likewise the Rebecchi's about Alice!
PIPER: If my mum's boyfriend is lying to her then she has a right to know.
Number 24
After catching up with Mark about Sonya, Elly gets out her laptop to check up on Yashvi's score as she doesn't think the lass is telling the truth. And it looks like Elly is right, Yashvi is lying - she has been able to check some of the scores and if you fail one area then you've failed overall, and Yashvi failed English. "You going to say anything?" Mark asks, and Elly is torn over what to do.
Somewhere
Gary chats with Amy on the phone about the theft while he waits to hear about his next job. Some random woman comes out of a warehouse to confirm if Gary is the driver (he is) so the head inside to get things moving.
Number 22
Leo is surprised to see Piper home and she explains that with Toadie at the hospital, she is working from home. They start chatting about Alice (and the death certificate for Heather) and Piper thinks she was the one who broke into the law office and whacked her.
Leo's phone goes off again and after confirming that its telemarketing again, she comments that they are really after him!
Number 24
Turns out that there is a shortage of solar panel inverters, which is going to put finishing the houses back months and Amy isn't looking forward to breaking the news to Paul as she knows he is going to flip! "Its not your fault," Aaron reminds her and tells her to stop doubting herself too, she is a great project manager.
AARON: The only people to blame are those mongrels who ripped you off.
Number 32
Elly hears how well Shane has got on when she calls round to subtly ask that they talk to Yashvi. "Have you seen her results?" Elly enquires but Shane replies that Yashvi simply told them. "Why?" he asks curiously and is told that he needs to have a chat with her. Eventually he gets the gist of what Elly is trying to tell him and asks if Yashvi lied to them? Elly doesn't tell him explicitly that Yashvi has failed, just urges him to talk to his daughter.
Warehouse
Gary is loading up his van when one of the boxes splits open and the contents fall on the floor - a solar inverter.
Lassiters Park
Kev thinks that Gary has done the job speedily fast when he meets up with him in a secluded part of the park. Gary demands to know if Kev is having him on after concluding that the load he is shifting came from Amy's business. "You'd better hope she doesn't find out," Kev jokes with him but turns out that Gary hasn't done the delivery because of who they belong to. "She'll be covered by insurance," Kev points out and reminds Gary what he was getting himself into.
KEV: Just finish the job or I'm going to have to tell my boss and he's nowhere near as nice as I am.
(Later)
Meanwhile at another part of the park, Yashvi is kicking a footy when Dipi leads Gary out of where they're secretly watching to talk to their daughter.
Shane and Yashvi toss the footy back and forth for a bit before he starts talking to her. He praises her for how great she has been since she took the game up and that she will get in in the draft next year. Shane dishes out a pep talk about it not being the end of the world given how her footy... and school went. Dipi walks forward and joins them at this point and consoles her daughter as she begins crying.
DIPI: We know you're incredibly bright, and talented and kind.
YASHVI: Don't forget stupid, I got 31.
Shane reminds her that folk, like him, manage through life without high school qualifications and Dipi suggests that she could always redo Year 12.
SHANE: It's never too late.
The lass admits that the only thing she wanted to do was play footy, so is unsure now of what to do and Shane replies that its "okay not to have the answer right now." "When you're ready, we'll work this out okay, together," Dipi calmly reassures her with.
Number 22
Piper receives confirmation from the PI of what the dossier should have contained - that Heather wasn't dead. This gives Piper the proof that Alice was behind the one that attacked her, so she could doctor the dossier. Leo seems relived that given what they know now she is capable of, Piper was lucky to get away with concussion!
While Leo heads from the summer room into the kitchen to make them a cuppa, Piper quickly takes a look at his emails. There is one from a Delaney Renshaw entitled 'so great to hear your voice' and when she hovers over the name, a photo appears - the one she saw in the file before.
Of course, she is caught red handed by Leo, and he asks what she is doing!
Coming up on Neighbours

- Susan giving Elly advice.
- Leo after his dad's help.
- Shane finding a pressie underneath the tree that Toadie should see.
