Ramsay St
Sonya calls out Nell's name and probes Alice about her whereabouts, but Alice says she saw Nell go with Sonya while Hugo was unsettled. Sonya continues to call out and frantically search, as Dipi approaches saying Nell's not in the back garden. Dipi agrees to go and look at her place.

ALICE: There are so many strangers around, do you think someone could have taken her?
SONYA: I can't even think that ok, she's here, she has to be here.

Dipi reassures Sonya, as Shane approaches. Alice suggests calling Toadie.

Rebecchi Law
Susan tells Toadie about her conversation with Paul, saying he probably didn't listen but she gave it a shot. Sonya calls, telling Toadie that Nell's missing. Toadie tells Susan and rushes out of the office.

Ramsay St
Dipi reassures Sonya again. Alice suggests calling the police but Dipi says it's not been very long. Alice says that someone could have taken Nell and in her panic, Sonya agrees and makes the call.

The Flametree
Gary has just made arrangements on the phone to meet someone later. As he hangs up, he and Amy discuss the fact that Jeremy has just received parole and he'll be staying with Nancy. Gary says that Jeremy doesn't sound too mad, but wants his money back today, hence he'll be meeting him later. Amy insists on coming with him, but he won't let her, saying he's dealt with those kinds of people before and it should be fine.

Lassiter's Park
Shane and Dipi approach some strangers dressed in Halloween costumes, asking them if they have seen Nell. They show them a picture, but unfortunately they haven't seen her. They rush off, continuing to call out her name.

Ramsay St/Community Centre
Sonya and Alice discuss Nell over the phone. No-one at day care has seen her. Alice asks what the police said.

SONYA: They're not worried about it yet.
ALICE: Don't they know time is critical?

Sonya remains frantic, while Mark tells Alice he's going to look for Nell at the school. Sonya rushes towards a man nearby, asking him if he's seen Nell. Susan and Toadie appear. Sonya tells them that her phone keeps beeping, but only with updates that no-one's found Nell. Toadie agrees to search in one direction, while Sonya and Susan pair up to look in the other direction.

Ramsay St
Alice is behind one of the houses and calls out Nell's nickname; 'Jellyfish'. Nell emerges from behind a fence. Alice gives Nell some chocolate as promised.

ALICE: This is gonna be such fun! And the better you play, the more chocolate you get.

Alice high fives Nell and tells her to run inside. As Nell disappears, Alice's fake smile switches to disgust. She grabs her phone and makes a call. She reveals a heavy bogan accent as she tells the person on the line she wants to make an 'anonymous report'.

The Flametree
Gary arrives back from meeting Jeremy. Amy greets him with a kiss, looking pleased to see him safe. He tells her Jeremy was pretty angry but glad to have the money back. He then shows her the lead Jeremy had on Finn Kelly; GPS co-ordinates for a cabin about an hour north east of the retreat. He wants to go to the cabin immediately but Amy pleads with him not to, saying it's best to go to the police with the information. He wonders how that will look but she says they can say the information was an anonymous tip off.

Number 30
Sonya and Toadie rush in to find Alice with Nell in the living room. Sonya is completely relieved but struggles to understand what happened, asking if it's true that Nell was under the house. As Sonya questions Nell, Alice stands behind Toadie making funny faces, causing Nell to laugh.

SONYA: Why are you smiling darling? It's not funny, daddy's not laughing and mummy's not laughing.
TOADIE: Sonya just calm down.
SONYA: Don't tell me to calm down! Don't you ever, ever run away from us again, do you hear me, that was very, very naughty!

Isabella from the DHS walks in just as Sonya loses her temper. Sonya asks what she's doing there, to which she responds that they'd received a call about a neglected child.

Number 30
Sonya quizzes the social worker about who made the report. Isabella reminds Sonya that those details are confidential. Sonya recalls the moment Nell went missing.

SONYA: We were out trick or treating and we went down the side of a house and I just thought that she'd stayed out the front with Alice.
ISABELLA: So you weren't drinking or using any drugs today?
SONYA: No, no, no. I have been clean for over a year and I have people that can vouch for that.

Sonya assures Isabella that she only lost her temper because it had been an incredibly stressful afternoon. In the kitchen, Alice praises Nell for her efforts.

NELL: Mummy's upset.
ALICE: I know. Mummy's playing the game really well. Now remember. You can't tell anybody about the 'secret game'. That's the most important rule, ok? Now, mummy's gonna try everything she can to make you give it up, but...if you do, what happens?
NELL: No more chocolate.
ALICE: (looking relieved) Yes. I mean it's a really long game but we're gonna have so much fun. Cause we're on the same team you and I.

Alice holds her hands up and Nell high fives her.

Lassiters Complex
Susan tells Bea that Nell's been found. Gary and Amy exit the police station, telling Susan and Bea that they've had an anonymous tip off about Finn's location.

BEA: They found his car at New Darwin airport weeks ago. Is that relative to where he might be?
(Gary hesitates)
BEA: Please. I need to know.
GARY: It's not Darwin. It's some map co-ordinates about an hour out of Melbourne.

Bea and Susan are shocked that he's so close.

Number 30
Sonya continues to tell Toadie that she wants to know who reported her, suspecting it might have been someone from day care. Their conversation starts to feel fractured and he points out that the DHS had to rush out because of Sonya's past with addiction. He apologizes and goes to check on Nell. Sonya goes to join him but Alice indicates that it might not be a good idea. Sonya insists but Alice says that Nell was frightened by Sonya. Toadie reminds Sonya that Nell is only 5 and it might be good to give her some space.

The Waterhole
Gary has just spoken to the police, who told him that the cabin where Finn's located is owned by the parents of his ex wife. He advises Amy, Susan and Bea. Bea asks Susan who Finn's ex wife is. Her name is Miranda and Susan mentions that Elly visited her before.

Number 32
Toadie visits Shane. They talk about the stressful day they've just had, Toadie admitting that one of the worst things was the DHS turning up and questioning Sonya about her drinking. He admits he's worried what effect this will have on her, as she already blames herself for what happened.

Number 30
Sonya is standing in the living room looking deeply emotional. As Alice walks in, Sonya tells her that she just wanted to explain to Nell why she lost her temper and say how sorry she was. Alice says she's explained to Nell why Sonya acted that way and Sonya looks grateful, admitting she thinks she'd probably stuff it up if she tried to explain it herself.

SONYA: I've let everyone down; I should've been watching her.
ALICE: No, kids slip away, I mean, all parents have experienced that, I lost my daughter at a shopping mall once and it was so scary...Come here.

She hugs Sonya. Alice then suggests running a bath. As Sonya exits the room, Alice mocks her in a truly menacing fashion.

Lassiters Complex
Gary tells Amy he might check the progress on Finn, as they walk past the police station, but she tells him the police will call once they've checked out the cabin. Shane walks past in his Halloween outfit, putting on his best pirate accent. Gary and Amy notice Shane is wearing a feather they lost.

Rebecchi Law
Alice drops off some food for Toadie. He thanks her, then mentions that he's received a letter from Andrea's hospital. A doctor has become available who specializes in cases similar to Andrea's, but she costs a lot of money. He deliberates over whether to discuss it with Sonya, given the stressful time they've had recently. Alice encourages him to secure the doctor for Andrea given she is Hugo's birth mother, saying he could tell Sonya about it later when she's feeling better.

The Waterhole
Elly messages Susan saying she's free soon. Bea looks to Susan for comfort about Finn, wondering whether she'll have to face him in court if the police locate him. She then starts to fret about what will happen if he's not caught. Susan does her best to calm her down.

Number 30
Sonya asks how Toadie was when Alice dropped off some food for him at the office. She says he's still a bit upset but it'll all be better in the morning. Alice tells a grateful Sonya to head off to bed and she'll put Hugo down for the night. Sonya exits.

ALICE: (to Hugo) Well...I knew Dr Taylor's letter would arrive but today of all days, it just couldn't have been more perfect! And daddy's done the right thing by agreeing to book her. He's gonna look after your mummy. And then mummy can come home. She'll be all fixed up!...And then we'll have to get Sonya out of the picture...(Alice's face drops)...And then we can all be a very...happy...family.
