Fitzgerald Motors
Mark tells Aaron he knows it was Chloe's bra in the car because he's the one who does the laundry! Aaron thinks Chloe would just have told Paul about the car if she were seeing him. Mark plans to talk to her about it; he wouldn't put it past Paul to take advantage in return for Chloe keeping her job.
Penthouse Suite
Amy tries to talk to Jimmy about what happened to Kirsha on camp but he has suddenly turned into a sullen teenager who gives only monosyllabic answers. Amy takes his phone away and asks him what it was like having his dad on camp but can't get anything out of him.
Out on the balcony, David tells Paul he dropped in on Karl who is stable and conscious. Leo arrives and David asks him if he's still thinking about Mishti but Leo says he's been too busy. Paul asks Leo to have Chloe get his car cleaned tomorrow, and David looks suspicious over the way Leo responds.
Number 24 (next day)
Mark asks Chloe for a word and tells her that sleeping with the boss can be tricky. When he reveals he's referring to Paul, Chloe is amused; he's old enough to be her father. She thanks Mark for his concern but tells him he's way off base. Mark mentions the bra but Chloe says she already told him she was driving the car.
Harold's Café
Amy is talking to Elly about Jimmy. She's worried about him with Liam back and after what happened with Poppy and Kirsha. Elly suggests giving him space but Amy thinks Jimmy needs her more now, not less. Aaron and David enter, all over each other after David's trip to New Zealand. David asks if the girls have seen much of Leo as he doesn't seem to be his usual self.
DAVID: I'll just have to see if I can pry it out of him.
AMY: The men in our family expressing their feelings? Good luck with that!
Lassiters complex
Fay asks Mark to stop interrogating her about Chloe. She asks why Paul would put the staff through the compliance training if he were involved with Chloe. They run into Mishti whom Mark asks if she thinks Paul could be taking advantage of Chloe. Mishti says they have to make sure nobody gets away with this kind of thing. Fired up, Mark goes to speak to Paul. Fay makes a phone call.
Number 24 / Penthouse Suite
Chloe takes the call from Fay and tells her Mark's going to ruin everything. She calls Leo and tells him to get Paul out of there because Mark's on his way. If Paul learns about the bra he'll figure out what's going on.
Lassiters complex
Liam tries to talk to Jimmy about the breakup with Poppy but gets as much response as Amy did. Elly appears and Liam sends Jimmy inside to order more drinks. Liam tells Elly he thinks a trip overseas would do Jimmy good but Elly tells him what Amy said about thinking Jimmy needs her more than ever. Liam decides not to accept the offer so they never need to know about it.
ELLY: You would do that?
LIAM: Absolutely. I'd do anything for Amy and Jimmy.
Penthouse Suite
Leo asks front desk to stall Mark. David appears and Leo is jumpy. David asks him if he wants to talk but Leo says no. The phone rings but Paul gets it before Leo and is told Mark Brennan is waiting to speak to him. Leo claims he wanted Mark's perspective on the police station renovation since he's an ex-cop! He sends David and Paul off to get some lunch... via the basement car park so they don't have to see Mark! He calls reception back.
LEO: Yeah, send up Mark but tell him to take the fire escape. I don't know... you think of a reason!
Harold's Café
Liam asks Jimmy if he's talked to Amy about what happened at camp. Jimmy asks why everyone is so obsessed with him talking about how he's feeling. Liam tells Jimmy he remembers what it's like so he'll let him get on with it, but he's going to be around a lot more so they can hang out. Liam gets a call and Jimmy overhears him saying the job offer in the Big Apple is a very attractive opportunity.
Penthouse Suite
Mark finally makes it to the apartment but Leo tells him Paul isn't there. Chloe emerges from the lift and tells Mark he's got it wrong.
CHLOE: Mark, you're wrong about this. I'm not having an affair with Paul. It's with another guy.
LEO: Well then you don't need to say anything!
CHLOE: I have to come clean.
LEO: No you don't!
CHLOE: It's with Brandon!
LEO: Brandon?
Chloe tells Mark he can check it out with Dipi as she caught them in the spa at her place.
MARK: Then what were you doing in Paul's car?
CHLOE: You know what we were doing. You found the evidence. We were fooling around and there was a slight incident with the roof!
MARK: Doesn't Brandon have a car of his own?
LEO (feigning annoyance): You used my dad's car?
CHLOE: It's so much more fun in a super hot car. Especially when it's not yours. The buzz is amaze.
MARK: OK, yep, I think I've heard enough!
Paul returns, having forgotten his keys, and asks what's going on.
The Handywoman
Jimmy arrives, furious, and tells Amy he was right about his dad. He's leaving for New York and yet still acts like he wants to hang out with him. He tells Amy this is all her fault for making him hang out with Liam.
Number 24
Chloe thanks Mark for not saying anything to Paul. Mark tells her she's lucky Leo didn't fire her! Chloe apologises for dragging him into this and Mark says he was just worried about her.
MARK: That's what you get for not doing your own washing.
CHLOE: Lesson learned!
Mark leaves for a run as Fay returns. Fay wants to know if Chloe is going to stop carrying on with Leo; every lie she tells makes the situation more complicated.
FAY: I know Leo's cute, but is he worth all of this?
CHLOE: I mean, you've see the dimples, right?!
Fay tells Chloe she keeps saying she's going to change... now's the time to do it.
Penthouse Suite
Aaron arrives and tells David about Mark's misunderstanding about Chloe and Paul.
AARON: Can you imagine my sister being your new step mum?!
Aaron asks if he's spoken to Leo but David couldn't get any more out of him. Aaron assures him Leo will talk if he wants to. They go to get ready for the beach.
Number 28
Amy and Elly enter and Amy says if it's true she will never forgive Liam. Elly tells Amy there's something she has to know and tells her about the offer from New York. He needs time to think about it.
AMY: He has to think about abandoning his son? The answer should just be no. I need to talk to Liam.
ELLY: Amy, there's more to the story.
AMY: No, I don't want to hear another word from you, OK? It's obvious you're on his side.
Amy storms out.
Lassiters office
Chloe finds Leo and tells him Mark doesn't suspect a thing.
LEO: Paul hasn't said anything either He's probably just happy to avoid your brother.
CHLOE: Yeah, those two really aren't fans, are they?
LEO: Yeah, there's a long history of animosity there!
Leo asks Chloe if what she said about Brandon was true and Chloe tells him they almost hooked up. Leo wonders if Brandon is giving them a hard time because he's jealous but Chloe doesn't think so. Besides, she's enjoying herself too much with Leo. Leo tells her they have to be more discrete... as they sit there kissing with the office door wide open!
Flametree Restaurant
Amy confronts Liam about New York and tells him he's broken Jimmy's heart. Liam says he's turned it down; Jimmy must have misheard. He makes things worse by saying he never would have gone without Jimmy! Amy is furious.
AMY: There's so many secrets. You manipulate my friends and you think that you can take Jimmy away.
LIAM: Please, Amy...
AMY: No! No! It's too much. I can't handle it any more. Pack your bags and get out! Don't come near us again!
