Number 22
Arron and Mark are getting ready to go visit Tyler in prison when Piper arrives asking if she can stay (in Tyler's room) for a while. Tearfully she explains that it was Terese who called the police and Mark consents to her staying. While Paige goes to see her sister, Aaron asks if its right that they let Piper stay but Mark explains that he can't kick her out onto the street.

Harold's café
Susan is chairing the final meeting of the hospital fundraising committee and before the meeting closes, Izzy praises her for her sterling fundraising leadership. In turn, Susan sincerely thanks Izzy for the $20m donation which will allow them to start the development phase of the project. Karl proposes a change in the name too - to the Kennedy Research and Training Wing, partially so it's a legacy to all his kids. Izzy approves of the name change, so Susan wraps up the meeting.

When they are alone, Karl calls Susan "the consummate professional" for how she stayed calm and handled things.

SUSAN: I think it's called taking the high road!

Number 24
Paige tells her sister that she's messaged Terese to let her know where she is. She also tries to get Piper to see things from her mum's perspective - she was desperate because she didn't want to lose her daughter. "Well that's happened anyway," Piper points out. Paige wants to know what their plan was, and all Piper can explain it as them simply "being together."

PAIGE: Until you were caught, which honestly was more likely.

Piper takes the hump at that and stomps off to Tyler's room.

Harold's café
Since he is off to see Izzy anyway (to tie up the paperwork at Clive's request). Karl volunteers to ask what her long-term plans are since Susan is curious to know.

Ben is happy surprised to see that his grandparents aren't fighting anymore, and Susan apologises to him for involving him in their quarrelling.

Meanwhile, before she too heads off, Xanthe goes over to talk to Terese. Terese is in a bit of a mess over how things are with Piper and for involving Xanthe in it too, but the lass has an idea and asks Terese to leave it with her.

Number 24
Xanthe arrives to see Piper and tearfully the lass apologises to her friend for blaming her since it was Terese's fault. Piper though is shocked to hear that Xanthe was on Terese's side and that it was her suggestion to keep the truth secret. "She's never understood," Piper whines and Xanthe does the "you won't always feel like this," speech.

PIPER: I don't know Xanthe. Right now, I feel like I'll never be able to forgive her.

Warrinor Prison
The brothers have brought Tyler up to speed about their new housemate and he suggests that they let her stay, joking that he won't be needing his room anytime soon! Tyler tells his brothers that Banks is coming out of solitary tomorrow and vetoes Mark talking to Toadie to get a transfer as he could end up anywhere. Both try to tell Tyler that it's not safe but despite their words, he doesn't want a transfer, the friends he's so far made will help protect him.

Number 28
Despite what Tyler said, Aaron wants Ben's help to get in contact with Adrian to try and talk to him. "Are we really doing this?" Mark asks after Ben somewhat reluctantly hands over Adrian's business card.

AARON: Mark, it's the only chance we've got to protect Tyler.

Lassiters hotel
Izzy tells Holly that it appears Karl and Susan are now back on track as they make their way along the corridor to their hotel room. When they enter, Xanthe is still servicing the room and Izzy goes mental because the lass has a red folder in her hand (Xanthe has it there because she is cleaning the table) and literally orders Xanthe out of the room, declaring it clean enough. A bemused Xanthe apologises before exiting the room.

Number 24
Mark returns home briefly to get his phone charger. While he's there, Paige wants to talk to him, but he's got other things on his mind and quickly reassurance that he isn't brushing her off, they will talk when he gets back.

Somewhere
Aaron meets up with Adrian and tries to explain why Tyler didn't do the job - they think if Banks knows the reason why Tyler didn't do the job, it will take the heat off him and instead show that he is loyal.

Mark joins them and pleads for Banks to be called off, but Adrian can't do anything.

MARK: What do we have to do to keep Tyler safe?
AARON: Come on, surely there's something we can do?
MARK: As long as it's above board.

Eventually Adrian has something in mind - they've to finish off the job Tyler couldn't do! No deal says Mark, but Aaron says deal and they've got until tomorrow to get the car ready.

MARK: What were you thinking?!
AARON: Do I need to spell it out to you?
MARK: Getting caught up in their games is not going to help Tyler!
AARON: If we sit back here and do nothing, he's going to get hurt in there.

Mark points out that having bent enough rules, he knows it won't work. The brothers argue over whether to do the job or not and Mark pleads with his younger brother that there is always another solution and for Aaron to trust him.

The Waterhole
Gary, Terese and Paige sit waiting for Piper to join them, but it looks like the lass isn't ready to forgive her mum just yet. Paige tries to reassure Terese that Piper will come around, but things are just a tad too raw just now.

TERESE: She'll hate me for the next twenty years.

Gary, backed up by Paige, reassures Terese that they will work through it and rebuild the relationship. "And in the meantime, maybe we can think about all the arguments that we won't be having around the table when she refuses to join us," Paige jokes with them! That comment doesn't end in laughs, rather in tears from Terese and Gary pulls her in for a reassuring hug.

Harold's café
Aaron lets Ben know that he made a deal with Adrian - finishing the job Tyler was meant to do, which explains the vehicle parked outside the garage that Ben was curious about. Ben can't believe Mark is going along with it and Aaron replies he isn't because he thinks it's too dangerous. Regardless of what Ben tries to say to Aaron, he is determined to do what it takes to save his little brother.

Lassiters hotel
Karl is shocked to see a $17,000 receipt and Izzy denies that she is spoiling Holly, she's simply buying her a few treats! Holly makes herself scarce to allow Izzy and Karl to talk - she quickly says that the lawyers have the paperwork and hasn't heard back from them since. With that settled, Karl goes to leave but Izzy wants to sit and chat and goes to get them some drinks.

Number 28
"Izzy's definitely up to something," Xanthe tells Susan as they sit in the backyard of #28. Susan is trying really hard to give Izzy the benefit of the doubt but Xanthe doesn't want to see her get hurt, hence why she is there! "I promise you, I've got my wits about me," Susan reassures her with but does thank Xanthe for looking out for her.

XANTHE: Well I love you guys, you know that. I don't want Izzy or anyone coming in trying to wreck your family.
SUSAN: She won't do that.
XANTHE: Well I know that she's definitely up to something and from what I've heard about Izzy, do you really think it's going to be good?

Warrinor prison
Its Ben's turn to now go and visit Tyler and he gets straight to the point - he has to talk to Toadie about a transfer. Tyler still isn't changing his mind, so Ben tells him what Aaron is about to do and pleads for Tyler to put in the request, there simply is no other way.

Harold's café
Paige is happy surprised to see Jack and Gabe in the café when she comes in to get a cake to help cheer Terese up and explains to him why the cake is needed. "I'm just a horrible person," Paige describes herself as after the day she has had, and the fact Mark appears to not want a bar of her. Jack tries to reassure her that she isn't a horrible person, but she feels she is, she cheated on Mark. Jack acknowledges that they've hurt other people but adds the fact she's sitting worrying about others means that she does care for them.

Lassiters hotel
Izzy is unsure about setting boundaries for the teenage Holly (the lass wanted to have dinner with Yashvi) and Karl is relieved that this will be the last time he has teenage woes. She is feeling somewhat melancholy at having no more kids and Karl comments that he never pictured her with a brood of kids! "Who wouldn't want to clone her a million times over," she remarks, and Karl's response is whoever is picking up the shopping tab!

Given the look on Izzy's face, he quickly makes it clear that he is joking and adds that their daughter is amazing. That is good, because apparently that is what Izzy wanted to talk to Karl about.

IZZY: Karl, I don't think that I'm ready to shut the door on that part of my life. I want to have another baby... and I want you to be the father.

Unmissable drama
