He's going for his boat licence but considering postponing until he knows what name to put on the licence; he's thinking of changing his surname. Mark is horrified.
MARK: You're a Brennan. I mean, maybe not by blood but you're my brother.
TYLER: We'd still by brothers.
MARK: Ty, changing your surname is a huge deal.
TYLER: I'm just playing around with the idea, but bottom line is I'm not a Brennan.
Harold's Café
Toadie is giving Steph the third degree about Sam and Sonya. Steph tells him there were some feelings there but Sam moved to Israel before Sonya got out of rehab. Toadie worries they've been thinking about each other all this time.
TOADIE: Do you think that he tracked her down?
STEPH: There are easier ways to reconnect with someone than becoming their estranged husband's psychologist!
Toadie wonders if Sam had worked out that Sonya is his wife and fed him bad advice like delaying their reconciliation. He told him a lot of stuff that Sam could use against him. Steph assures Toadie that Sonya isn't going to act on any attraction because she still loves him.
Waterhole

Robinsons Motel
Steph says they would like to become a dispensary for medicinal cannabis for reducing the side effects of chemotherapy. Jack says it could discourage potential donors. Jack says the wellness centre must have been one of them. He points out that Steph and Amy's livelihood depends on the timely receipt of donations and grills him over how capital gains tax applies. Steph tries to stop Jack but Hamish says Jack is right to be concerned. He transfers $5,000 now from his phone (in about two seconds) to get the ball rolling.
Harold's Café
Sonya meets Sam, wanting to check in with him after last night. She thinks they can still be friends but Sam doesn't want to cause more trouble with Toadie. Sonya has to get back to the nursery and Sam says he thought she would end up working with plants.
SAM: It was that time we took a walk by the river and you could tell me the genus of all the wildflowers that were in bloom.
SONYA: Yes, actually that's when I got the bee sting on my ankle.
SAM: Yeah, I remember.
SONYA: And you offered to... pee on me!
SAM: No, I didn't actually say those words!
SONYA: No, you did!
SAM: No I didn't, I said I could offer an unorthodox method of pain relief!
They laugh as they reminisce. Sam says he had three months of physio after carrying her but he guesses she was worth it. He asks if he can walk her and Sonya says yes.

Mark says Tyler is the one who is hurting and tells Hamish he's thinking of changing his surname. Hamish says he had no idea but it makes sense as Tyler is his son.
MARK: He's been your son for about three weeks. I've been his brother for over 20 years.
HAMISH: We can both love Tyler without it becoming a competition.
Hamish goes to make another cuppa and Mark looks suspiciously at the compartment when Hamish stashed the charts.

Mark pushes past and Hamish pretends to fall and be knocked unconscious. Mark calls an ambulance while Hamish glances up at him.
Waterhole
Toadie apologises to Steph for landing her in it. He says he can't object to Sonya seeing Sam after what he's put her through but it doesn't make it any easier to accept.
