- Shane accuses Karl of dying for things to go pear shaped since he took over the liveability committee
- Ben tells Yashvi this is the second time he's been taken advantage of by someone he cared about; he can't go back to hanging out with her
- Shane tells Yashvi they've organised a job for her with Amy at the yard; Yashvi protests that it's right next to the garage
- Sheila tells Amy that Hamish is way out of her league and she doubts he's interested anyway
- Sheila asks Hamish what happened to his phone; Hamish snatches it and tells Sheila he has one phone for business and one for personal matters
- Hamish kisses Sheila
Sheila is flustered after the kiss. She tells Hamish she needs him to sign the papers and hurries off.
SHEILA: I've got, um... a thing... at the place! I've got to go!
The Handy Woman
Shane walks Yashvi to work to make sure she gets there. Jack is opening up the yard and tells Yashvi they have a big to- do list. Yashvi stares at Ben across the fence and tells Jack that things are a bit tense between them at the moment. Jack says he'll probably be working at the garage all through the holidays but Yashvi says things will be sweet if he just focuses on his cars.
Karl checks on Amy's foot and Sheila sings Shane's praises for getting all the kids involved in the most liveable suburb. Karl hopes he's not taking credit for the giant durian. Karl leaves and Amy asks Sheila how things went with Hamish last night. Sheila tells Amy that Hamish kissed her and she bolted. Amy tells her she deserves to have some fun.
The Handy Woman
Yashvi and Ben are still sharing awkward looks over the fence. Yashvi asks Jack if there's any chance of a job away from the yard but he can't help her. Yashvi thinks they need to beef up the security at the yard; she could build a brick wall! Ben takes the bait and asks if she's never heard of Berlin. Jack asks what's going on between them and Yashvi tells him that Ben had a crush on her and she humiliated him... twice.
YASHVI: Boys just have so many feelings!
Jack tells Yashvi that she can go and do an inventory for Amy at the motel.
Shane gets off the phone and complains to Mishti about how slow Roly's manufacturer is. He doesn't get paid until they start selling but he wants to start pulling his own weight. Amy arrives and asks Mishti's forgiveness for trying to matchmake. She also has a TV station sending a news crew out to cover the wellness centre and asks Mishti if she will help. Shane asks if they'd be interested in two scoops for the price of one; something newsworthy can be arranged!
Louise arrives on the boat. Hamish is short with her and apologises. He's on edge because somebody found Russell's phone. They kiss and Louise tells Hamish it's been tough in Port Lincoln on her own. Sometimes she's tempted to tell someone the secret to get it out of her head. Hamish promises they'll soon be far away and never have to think about it again.
In the store room Yashvi tells Jack she just seems to make everyone's life hard everywhere, as she pulls Mrs. Mangel's portrait out from behind some drawers!
YASHVI: I wouldn't expect you to understand. I mean I can't imagine you getting into any trouble. Well, I mean aside from being a priest while having a baby!
Jack tells Yashvi about a time he and Simone borrowed a barman's ute without asking. Yashvi finds Steph's jacket and tells Jack they've dated the same number of people. They're late bloomers. By the time they figure it out the world will be ready for their awesomeness.
Number 26 / The Marina
Sheila picks up her phone and nervously makes a call. On the boat, Hamish answers Sheila's call and she apologises for how she left things last night. She was really surprised by the kiss but it wasn't unwanted. Hamish is cool with her because Louise is listening and tells her he's in the middle of something very important.
Karl is unimpressed that Amy has ignored his advice to stay off her foot. She's busy getting everything sorted for the news crew and mentions Shane has convinced them to shoot footage of Roly to show off the area as an "innovation hub".
KARL: Oh come on, that's the most shameless self- promotion I've ever heard of.
BEN: More shameless than you and tropical seeds?
Amy takes a call from Jack, and Karl asks Ben if there have been any more uncomfortable Yashvi sightings. Ben tells him she's working away from the yard. Karl says keeping that girl busy is probably the best way to keep her out of trouble.
Yashi is falling asleep doing the inventory and tries to wake herself up by talking like a sports commentator. A man (Dale) arrives looking for Amy and drops off a donation of what looks to be about a thousand dollars in cash.
Hamish tells Louise that Tyler is going for his boat license test. Louise says she had hers weeks ago and is ready to go. Hamish says they will never get to Indonesia without Tyler. They need a mechanic on board in case the engine fails. He's a good kid, although Russell didn't treat him as such. Louise finds the paperwork for the wellness centre donation and says she can't afford that but Hamish says he hasn't signed it yet. Louise is sick of their long distance relationship. Hamish suggests he could manage things faster if she weren't here. He gets a text from Tyler needing help preparing for his test. Louise thinks Hamish doesn't want to be around her.
LOUISE: That night. I can't undo what was done but I only did it because I thought you loved me.
Hamish tells Louise he does love her and soon they'll have all the time in the world. Louise leaves and Hamish says he'll call her.
Karl is dropping Ben off at the yard. Shane is walking down the street with Roly, and Karl has accuses him of using the campaign to line his own pockets; he's morally obliged to resign! Shane accuses Karl of being hypocritical. Amy pulls up in the ute to check Jack is coping. She's a bit surprised he left Yashvi alone at the motel.
JACK: Ah well, she was actually a better counter than me. No, she's a good asset to the team. I've enjoyed her. She's a bit of fun.
AMY: Are you saying I'm not fun?
Yashvi takes a selfie with the cash. Jimmy arrives and Yashvi asks him to take a better picture so she can post it. She tells Jimmy that a donor left it for the centre. She's going to hand it over after she's had a bit of fun.
Outside the Community Centre
Shane is being filmed and photographed as the interviewer Jennifer asks him about Roly. Amy suggests they go to look at the wellness centre but Shane wants to show off one more feature of the mower. Unfortunately Roly goes out of control (accompanied by comical electronic noises) and crashes its way into the community centre. Screaming children can be heard!
Hamish brings Sheila some flowers to apologise for being odd on the phone. He claims to be confused about his feelings and Sheila says likewise. Hamish is concerned that she mentioned it to Amy and suggests they keep it to themselves for the moment as his main focus has to be Tyler. Sheila asks him if he's signed Amy's papers yet. Hamish claims it slipped his mind and suggests Sheila swing by the boat to jog his memory. Sheila says it sounds like a date.
Yashvi has fallen asleep and is woken by her phone. She is impressed by the responses to her picture but then realises the money has disappeared! Jack returns and asks if she's lost something. He tells her she's welcome to take off for the day but Yashvi says she's got some stuff to finish off. Jack leaves to get them some lunch and Yashvi searches frantically for the cash.
- Susan tells Elly it worries her that Mark needs constant reminding to make her a priority.
- Shane tells Toadie it really was sabotage; he should have seen how much Karl was enjoying himself earlier.
- Dipi says someone has left Yashvi with a pile of cash and Jack says he'll go and check it out.
- Mark says they should check out the wishing tree and Elly pointedly tells Paige it's always interesting to see what people wish for.
