Jimmy scrapes food into the bin and takes water outside for Sheila and Amy to take away the taste of Gary's barbecue; it was a bit full on for a breakfast dish! Sheila warily asks if he's considering doing his own catering for the wedding but Gary says they haven't set a date yet; he could have it down pat by then.
GARY: I think I might use carrot oil next time. I wonder if that'll do the trick.
SHEILA: It couldn't be any worse than what we just ate. Oh, sorry love!
GARY: It's fine, just a little setback, that's all.
AMY: Yeah... sometimes the best lessons come from your biggest mistakes.
SHEILA: Yeah, well he's going to learn heaps then isn't he?!
Gary says it's a good thing Xanthe skipped breakfast to go for a walk. She hasn't been herself since the breakup with Ben but Sheila thinks she will be OK.
Jack and Bishop Green walk towards St. Patrick's Cathedral. The bishop tells Jack they can make terrible mistakes when straying from God's chosen path for them but Jack truly believes being there for his son is God's chosen path for him now. He thought he could be a father and a priest until he held Gabe in his arms. There are also some teachings he doesn't agree with, thinking of a friend in particular. Bishop Green wants him to do his rounds today and make sure it's really what he wants.
Shane is puzzling over his lawnmower designs. Dipi comes out of the café and offers him something to eat but he's heading home. Dipi tells Mishti how quiet Shane has been since he promised to sell the mower. Mishti reminds her that she doesn't want paying back but Dipi doesn't want to have that conversation again. She says Shane's going to keep feeling useless until he starts to believe in himself. Aaron comes along for their run but Mishti is miles away.
AARON: We'll go for a silent run if you want. You can think through whatever's going on in there.
MISHTI: You can run in silence?!

Gary sees Mark out and tells him he was pretty hard on Xanthe. Mark says he's just trying to keep Xanthe safe. Gary admits there is something fishy going on but he doesn't know why Xanthe is bending over backwards to defend Finn. Mark tells him that people are concerned about Finn's influence over Xanthe and Gary worries that there is more to it.
Jack looks at photos of Paige and Gabriel on his phone. Amy arrives to give him a lift and asks how it went. Jack says it went better than expected. He's relieved and excited but also daunted and sad. Amy tells him he'll still be helping people, just without the collar. Jack hopes whoever replaces him keeps sees the value in his projects. He asks Amy if she wants to join him on his rounds but Amy has a lot to do and doesn't want Jimmy spending too much time with Leo!

Aaron says it's his most lucrative one. Mishti asks what if he won the lotto and could do anything he liked. Aaron says he would work on his marketing business. Mishti has an idea. How would he feel about free massages for a month?
Jack tells David what he's done. David says sometimes the things you're most afraid of doing can be better than you ever imagined. Things are good with Tom. He asks Jack if he's thought about what he's going to do now but Jack is too busy tying up his loose ends for the next few weeks; he owes it to the parish.

Mark has apparently told Gary about Finn's aneurysm as he is discussing it with Sheila. Sheila knew Xanthe was upset about betraying a secret. She wonders what else she's been keeping quiet about. Xanthe announces she's going to the library but Gary and Sheila want to know what's going on between her and Finn.
XANTHE: He's my teacher and a friend, that's it.
SHEILA: Teachers are not supposed to be friends with their students.
XANTHE: Oh, well that's very hypocritical of you. You let me see Elly and Susan.
Sheila demands to know what's been going on and Gary mentions Finn being responsible for Nell and Susan getting sick. Xanthe claims Elly has turned everyone against him and he had nothing to do with it. Gary grounds Xanthe and asks her to give him her phone.

Mishti, Dipi and Kirsha are showing Aaron the solar powered mower and Aaron's impressed. Dipi says Shane has a drawer full of intentions if this takes off. Aaron says the mower needs a name.
MISHTI: The No Push Mower?
DIPI: The Great No Push Mower?
AARON: Uh... you guys really do need my help!
Aaron says it needs a name that gives it a personality as well as explaining what it does. Dipi comes up with the Roamer. Mishti says it rolls along by itself and so they come up with Roly. Aaron says the mower also needs a makeover and a logo. Dipi is confident Shane will be open to any changes that help sell it. Aaron wants to see what the mower can do but Dipi thinks they need more space to show it off.
Jack is buying flowers as a parishioner has passed away. He runs into Leo and Jimmy and tells Jimmy he's not sure how much longer he'll be coaching the dodgeball team for as he's leaving the church.
JIMMY: Does this mean you don't believe in God any more?
JACK: No, of course I still do.
JIMMY: It's just Mum's been a lot happier ever since she started going to church again and it's not going to be the same without you there.
Jack says he will still be there and Jimmy says he can sit with them. He goes to buy a juice and Leo says he thought Jack was quitting to be a full time dad. Jack says it's going to take time to tie- off his commitments.
Xanthe is working when Elly comes in. She tells Elly she's been grounded because she wouldn't dump Finn in it. Elly wishes she had done more to protect Elly from Finn. Xanthe accuses her of being biased but Elly says her history with Finn means she can see who he really is. Xanthe says she's not going to betray Finn despite Elly's pleading.
ELLY: Can't you see he's manipulating you? He did the same thing to me. He told me he loved me. He told me he would leave his wife and I believed it until I realised it's all lies. Finn will say and do whatever it takes to get what he wants.
XANTHE: Well that's your experience, not mine.
Kirsha is controlling the mower but it doesn't appear to be mowing anything. Dipi says it's designed to be used every day so it's trimming the grass consistently. Kirsha says it's better for the grass as the clippings become mulch. Dipi tells Kirsha to show Aaron how far the mower can go but it stops responding and ends up in the lake!
Xanthe is on her phone so Jimmy goes to check on the order while Amy and Jack talk about Jack's leaving the church. They haven't discussed timeframes yet. Jimmy says he thought Xanthe's phone was confiscated and Xanthe says this one is an emergency backup. Jimmy asks if she's using it to text the guy that likes her. Xanthe says everyone has let him down and Jimmy says he's lucky to have a friend like her. Xanthe asks Jimmy not to tell anyone.
The mower has been fetched out of the lake and is making a weird noise. Kirsha has gone off as she's embarrassed. Shane arrives and says they shouldn't have had it near the water. Mishti explains they were asking Aaron for advice about getting it on the market. Dipi thinks it will be as good as new once it's dried out.
Jack and Bishop Green are walking through the park with the cathedral looming in the background. The bishop is sorry he can't persuade Jack to change his mind. Jack offers to stick around and help his replacement settle in.
BISHOP GREEN: There won't be a new priest. Now that you're going, that church will shut down!
Jack looks troubled.
