Hospital - Karl's office
David says he has the right to check records, but Amy points out he doesn't work there, and says she's calling security. He asks her to call Karl instead.
Amy says she knew Leo was dodgy (which David denies) but she thought David was better. He insists he's not a thief. Karl arrives to see what's going on. David tells him he's looking for his father.

Brad and Lauren are practising the Paso Doble (according to the subtitles). It's going well until Lauren treads on Brad's foot. Ned suggests they stick to the waltz.
LAUREN: I really thought I was going to nail it that time.
BRAD: Well, maybe if you nailed your feet to mine, it might work!
Ned comments that he's no good at dancing, so Elly says he's good at other things... like tattooing. She says she's still waiting for hers. Ned says he's doing one of his own at the moment. Brad and Lauren are just about to practice again when Mark turns up to says that Jacka has been released. Brad's not impressed. Mark says he pleaded guilty and his mother's dying, so apparently that means it's OK for him to stay with her. Mark tells Ned to be vigilant, and Ned tells them about Regan. Mark tells him to get Regan to make a statement, because this could get Jacka's bail revoked.
MARK: Meanwhile, anyone connected to Ned needs to watch out for Jacka.
They all look worried.
Steph says she regrets going to see Jacka. Toadie says that Jacka would have got out anyway. Steph says she knew it would cause problems with Mark. Sonya says he'll get over it. Steph goes to skype her boy™. Toadie says that's why he's doubtful about the surrogacy.
TOADIE: I love Steph - you know that - but you have to admit, she makes a lot of questionable choices.
SONYA: Well, she struggles from time to time - so do I, but I have a rock that I can cling onto - and Mark is her rock.
TOADIE: Potential rock.
SONYA: Well they.... Just... love each other, OK?
David explains that he doesn't know who his father is, just that he became a doctor. His mother married his step- father when he and Leo were very young.
DAVID: How can I move on with my life if I don't understand my past?
Ned admits he's made some bad decisions...
BRAD: Did it have to be *his* wife. This is the guy that killed Josh, and now he's after my other son.
Lauren optimistically suggests they may be overreacting and Jacka may actually want to be with his mum. Ned says he has to go to work, adding that he's safest in public. He tells Elly she should stay away from him.
Ben and Angus promise to protect Elly from Jacka. Susan tells them to call the police instead. Angus comments that Elly is "amazing" and could be a model. Ben said that Elly would never notice him.
To Ned's horror, Regan turns up. He asks if it's true that Jacka's mum is ill. She says it is...
REGAN: But trust me, he hates his mum.
Ned tells her to make a statement to the police so that Jacka will be put back inside. She refuses, then she asks him to keep her safe. Ned frowns.
Amy and Aaron are discussing David and Leo and decide they're both as bad as each other.
AARON: Here's to the Tanaka brothers. May we resist their dodgy charms.
AMY: Mmmm... and their long hair.
AARON: And those eyes...
Karl tells David he's found his mother's file from the mid- 80s.
DAVID: But you can't give it to me.
KARL: I'm not about to start revealing confidential information.
I'm not sure about that word "start", Karl. Anyway, they go into Karl's office. He says he knows what it's like to look for a lost father, and David helped save Angelina's life so...
KARL: I feel like I owe you one.
Karl's found an email from security asking alerting staff to a teenager with dark hair whose pregnant girlfriend was in the hospital. His name was Bradley. David said he'd never thought of him as a trouble- maker.
Steph tells Mark she had no idea that Regan was seeing someone they knew, and she regrets getting involved. However, Jacka came to visit her when she was in prison, so she felt like she owed him. Mark tells her to be careful, and leaves for work. Steph tells Toadie she's worried that she's not enough for Mark, as he's been tense ever since Charlie left.
Regan tells Ned that they were good together. He says they were - until he found out she was married. She says she wanted to leave Jacka, but she was scared of him. Ned says that Jacka is after blood, so she says they should stick together. She tells him they should start a new life up north.
REGAN: We could be good. You know it.
Sonya asks Mark about a security patrol in Ramsay Street. He says it won't happen until it's too late they can prove Jacka is a threat. Sonya says that Steph regrets what she did. Mark says he's not angry: he's worried.
MARK: With her losing Charlie, and that snake freak doing what he did...it's really destabilised her emotionally.
SONYA: Well, that's hardly surprising.
MARK: No, I understand. But her going to see Jacka, it's... it's a sign that she's regressing into old behaviour.
SONYA: Kind of like she's falling off the wagon.
MARK: Yeah, a lot like that. And what's more, I think she's convinced herself that I'm going to leave her now Charlie's gone.
He says he has no intention of leaving her, but it feels like she's pushing him away.
Leo acts surprised that David would break into a computer to find their father. David says he's going to carry on looking. Leo says that in future, he'll do the dodgy work because he's better at it.
DAVID: You don't care about our father at all?
LEO: The only person I care about in this world is you.
David has told Amy, who says she knows all about father issues. Leo comes over to the table to see if things are sorted and Aaron suggests the four of them go out to celebrate. David isn't keen. Leo asks Amy what she thinks, and she leaves it to David, who reluctantly agrees.
AARON: Perfect! Here's to an awesome foursome.
Angus is taking pictures of Elly doing yoga for her "Insta". Ben comes out of his room, and asks Angus if he's coming to practise with the band. Angus says he's cooking dinner. Yeah, sure he is. Ben laughs. Lauren arrives to give Elly a message from Ned: he's going away for a few days. She's annoyed that Ned didn't tell her himself. Lauren says that Ned is a good guy but makes not- so- good decisions under pressure.
ELLY: You'd know about that.
ELLY: Sorry... Sorry. Completely uncalled for.
Lauren accepts her apology and tells her she can call round any time. Elly gets her jacket. Angus insists on accompanying her.
Ned is with Regan in a car. Angus meanwhile is suggesting that Ned is a loser. Elly tells him it's none of his business.
ANGUS: Would a man who's in a happy relationship be going away with another woman?
No 24 - bedroom
Steph tells Mark that she misses Charlie so much. He says he does too, and they hug.
No 30 - bedroom
Toadie and Sonya are tossing and turning, then Toadie says they should talk. Sonya tells Toadie she wants him to give it some thought.
TOADIE: When you first brought up this surrogacy idea, you gave me the impression - falsely as it turns out - that you actually respected my right to say no. And now you're punishing me for it.
She admits she is, but she feels it's the right thing to do and he's stopping her. He says it could all blow up, but she points out it could bring joy and a new being into the world.
SONYA: You have the right to say no.
SONYA: OK, what?
TOADIE: When you look at it from a... purely altruistic point of view, it... really is a beautiful thing. And yes I am scared. I'm scared of absolutely everything that could go wrong with this, of course I am. But if you just focus on the positives... what we're actually talking about is giving our two best friends a baby.
She's thrilled, and they kiss.
