- Sonya runs for Mayor with #Imyou
- Tim Collins is furious with Sonya about the footage of him and Courtney
- Piper removes the footage, but it's too late because it's "out there" with Aaron's name on it
- Courtney points out the damage Piper has done, and Tyler tells Piper never to talk to him again
- Paige tells Mark she's sick of him treating her as a child, at the same time as she behaves like a child
- Mark sergeant tells him to take some leave
Mark is busy cleaning. Aaron arrives home, and Mark says he's on leave. Aaron says it might be good to have time to think.
MARK: Right now, I could do anything to avoid thinking, OK?
Aaron suggests a boys' night out with Kyle. Mark's not keen.
AARON: Come on, what is the worst that could happen?
Mark wakes up and snuggles up to the person next to him, only to find it is Kyle! Aaron is asleep on the floor. Mark discovers he's lost his phone. Lou bursts in with some coffee.
LOU: Good morning sunshines. Time to sober up!
Sonya gets a call from the mother of one of Nell's friends, cancelling a "play date". She says it's probably because Tim's been spreading rumours and the mums don't trust her. Toadie tells her not to let it get at her.
SONYA: It's hard when it involves Nell.
Toadie tells her that when the community sees her at the interview with Tim, they'll realise thay can trust her.
Lassiter's car park
Tyler and Courtney are unloading some boxes from Tim's car. Tyler suggests a romantic trip up the coast and they kiss. Tim wanders up and tells them they are supposed to be helping... Tyler offers to service his car at mates' rates.
TIM: Do I really look like some who deals in mates' rates?
Tim tells them he wants the posters up before Sonya arrives.
Lou tells Mark he flew in from Brisbane to talk about what happened between him and Paige. (What, as opposed to coming to the wedding?) He explains that the lads were too far gone when he found them at Off Air, and they decided to come to the Motel to raid the mini- bar. How odd - the last owner left it stocked, or Paul & co have already refilled it? Kyle and Aaron suddenly remember that Mark was going round saying he was from the neatness police, and he realises he's lost his badge.
MARK: If I don't find my badge, my leave could turn into something more permanent.
No 32 garden
Imogen arrives to find her "favourite sister" (Paige, although it must be a close run thing - I don't like either of them). Paige tells Imogen she feels sorry for Mark because his sergeant made him take leave.
IMOGEN: You still care about him.
PAIGE: I shouldn't. After what he did to me.
Imogen tells her to focus on something else.
Karl has arrived with Mark's phone, which he'd left at the bar. Karl says that Mark had talked to him about getting a better work / life balance, because his life was his job. Then he wanted to make a declaration about Paige but Karl stopped him. Karl says he went off, saying he was on a mission. Mark panics, hoping he didn't call Paige and make a fool of himself. He goes off with Lou, who assures him that Paige is not rostered on at Harold's.
Mark is horrified to see that Paige is serving, and wants to leave. Lou goes into the kitchen, and explains to Paige that he wanted to see how Mark was.
PAIGE: You come in here for breakfast like you're best buddies. After what he did to me.
LOU: Sweetheart, I'm trying to help.
Paige rudely tells him she's working. Meanwhile, Daniel and Imogen tell Mark that he sent a lot of drunken messages. Lou comes over and tells him he's charged his phone...
Tim is handing out posters, and nearby, so is Toadie. Karl asks him where Sonya is, and Toadie says she's dropping Nell off so people can't say she's a bad mother. Karl is concerned. Tim approaches Tyler and comments that he could put a lot of work his way if he became Mayor. Tyler is pleased. Then Tim hands Tyler some questions he wants him to ask Sonya: about abandonning Callum, and her addiction. Tyler looks uncomfortable.
Mark's calls were to NinjaSuze (obvs). She had turned her phone off because she had just heard background noise, but she offers to play him her voicemail. He tells her that he obviously meant to call Paige, and that he'd said he regrets choosing his work over her.
SUSAN: Wow. How do you feel now, hearing yourself say that?
MARK: Well it's true. I miss her, and I still want to be with her.
SUSAN: Well then you need to tell Paige that.
MARK: It's too late, Susan. She's too angry, and I don't blame her.
Susan tells him he has to convince her that she still cares. He suddenly remembers where his badge is, and he rushes off.
Tim comments that Sonya obviously doesn't care about her constituents as she hasn't turned up for the meeting. Toadie says there is still time. Sonya dashes in, saying she was looking after her daughter. Tim asks where she is. Sonya says she's at daycare, so Tim points out actually Sonya isn't looking after her.
SONYA: I didn't think it was appropriate for her to be here today.
TIM: From what I've heard, it's not really appropriate that YOU'RE here today.
He asks her about Erin, and she explains that she was a friend. Tim puts it to her that she's been an addict too.
TIM: So you must be kinda happy that the media hasn't exploited that #Imyou hasn't been rephrased #Imanexjunkie
Tim suggests they open up the floor for questions.
Tim is kissing babies when Toadie comes up to him. Tim comments that he hopes Toadie enjoyed the Q&A session.
TOADIE: It's all about your ego, isn't it? You just don't care who you hurt in the process.
Courtney asks Tyler why Tim kept staring at him. Tyler says maybe it's because he's attractive. He drops the paper with the questions. She reads it, and is angry with him. He tells her that Tim offered him a bribe, and tries to justify himself by saying he didn't go through with it.
COURTNEY: I thought you were the polar opposite to my dad. Maybe you're not so different after all.
Daniel comes in to see Imogen, who is excited about a trial she is doing. They kiss, and Paige looks sad. Lou comes in and apologises for spending so much time with Mark. He says that Mark isn't happy. Paige says it doesn't matter what he thinks.
PAIGE: I'm glad it's over.
She says it gives her time to do... whatever she has to do. She admits she feels lost. Lou makes a suggestion.
Harold's - outside
Paige makes a phonecall, saying she'll see someone tomorrow. Mark arrives, and tells her he threw his badge in the lake because of her. He admits putting his work before their relationship. He asks her for a second chance. She says she never meant to propose, but then she realised that she wanted to be with him. But now after what's happened, she thinks they are too different.
PAIGE: You want kids, and... I don't. Not yet.
MARK: I can wait. I don't care.
PAIGE: I'm not going to stop you living your life.
MARK: You won't.
PAIGE: I need to move on with mine.
She tells him she's already enrolled on an arts degree at Uni, and she wants to focus on that. She takes off her ring. Then they hug.
PAIGE: You will always mean the world me but we are not meant to be together. Right now, at least.
Karl catches up with Tim, who asks if he enjoyed the interviews.
KARL: What you did in there was against the spirit of community.
TIM: Maybe, but it was within the spirit of politics, and I think it was one round I won.
KARL: You know, cockiness is not an attractive quality. It'll cost you votes.
Tim says that everyone he's spoken to has promised to support him, but Karl says he has to win over the silent majority as well. Tim gets to his car, and #I'M SCUM is scrawled on the windscreen in lipstick. Sonya is walking past, and Tim immediately accuses her of doing it.
- A picture of Tim's car appears on- line. Paul says Tim deserves it, but Amy says people think it's Sonya
- Mark tells Sonya that Tim wants her arrested
- Daniel says he can't get involved
- Lauren and Paul are furious with Terese regarding the new hotel block
- Daniel expects Paul to understand
