Aaron is pouring some cereal when Tyler and Courtney emerge from one of the bedrooms. Courtney takes the opportunity to ask Aaron where Nate's got to (she works with him); Aaron explains he's travelling overseas, and that it's a long story.

Daniel and Imogen emerge from another bedroom, and announce they've decided to give their relationship another go. And then to make matters worse, Lauren and Brad emerge from a third bedroom!

IMOGEN: Dad...!
BRAD: Lauren and I - we're back together.

Imogen looks horrified, as the titles roll.

Afterwards, we rejoin Brad and Imogen, who are having a coffee together. Imogen's annoyed that Brad didn't tell them he's rekindled things with Lauren; he explains that it's only just happened.

No 32
Paige is having a Parallel Conversation with Lauren in the back yard. Paige seems noticeably more pleased than Imogen that Lauren and Brad are back together, but asks if it will last this time.

No 24
Imogen points out to Brad that his first attempt at living with Lauren didn't work out. Brad says it was too soon, but now they feel the time is right.

No 32
Lauren tells Paige that she's asked Brad to move back in with them. Paige is thrilled.

No 24
Imogen points out to Brad how hard this will be for Terese, and says he needs to tell her as soon as possible so she doesn't find out from elsewhere. Brad promises that he will.

Harold's Café
Piper is sitting alone, when Tyler and Courtney come in. She overhears Courtney thanking Tyler for lending her his shirt, and discussing what a pigsty his room is - immediately implying they've spent the night together. Piper grabs her bags and leaves immediately.

COURTNEY: I'm pretty sure your little school friend has a crush on you.
TYLER: Yeah. Obviously.

No 26
Kyle's bedroom. Amy is still in bed, waking up, while Kyle is already dressed. He says he didn't want to disturb her as she looked so peaceful.

AMY: What about work?
KYLE: I'm sure your boss won't mind if you're late.
AMY: He is so nice. But I have to do something to work off the hours.
KYLE: I can think of a few things...

They start getting frisky, but Bossy leaps up on the bed. Amy tells her to get down!

KYLE: Just leave her. We'll keep to your side.

But Amy isn't comfortable TITTNL while Bossy is sitting on the bed watching!

KYLE: She doesn't know what we're doing!
AMY: That's beside the point! You need to put her outside.

But when Kyle doesn't immediately comply, Amy storms off in a huff. Kyle groans in frustration, and Bossy starts licking his face!

No 22
Josh is looking for flights to Brisbane, to go and visit Amber and Matilda. He explains to Imogen that he and Amber have had a long chat on the phone to clear the air, and she's keen for him to visit.

There's a knock at the door; it's Brad. He's come round to speak to Terese about his getting back together with Lauren, so Josh and Imogen leave them to it. Terese comes in and takes a seat, as Brad suggests; Brad then announces he's moving back in with Lauren.

Terese is initially frosty, saying Lauren denied that they were getting back together just a few days ago - but Brad explains they've only just decided.

TERESE: Well, I can't keep up. You know, I hope you're damn sure about it this time. Because I don't want the kids mucked around again.

Brad nods, but then his phone rings. It's his mum, Pam - with news that his dad Doug has set the kitchen on fire, as a result of his Alzheimer's...

Erinsborough High School
Tyler turns up outside school to talk to Piper. He says he didn't intend to upset her by seeing Courtney. Piper tries to deny that she was upset, and says she has to get to class.

PIPER: Actually, you know, it's a good thing that we can't be together. Now that I've seen the sort of chicks that you're into, it wouldn't have worked out.

Tyler looks upset as Piper storms off inside.

No 32
In the yard, Lauren is cleaning the pool while Brad tells her about Doug having nearly burned the house down. Brad says that Pam can't look after Doug anymore, and that she wants to put him in a home; they've already tried getting a nurse in, but he kept accusing her of stealing things.

Lauren's surprised Doug has deteriorated so quickly since he last visited; Brad says the doctor thinks his recent pneumonia won't have helped.

BRAD: You know, I can't imagine what Mum must be feeling - watching the person she loves slowly forget who she is. And the thought of losing him... I know she must be scared, because I'm scared. I wouldn't know what to do without my dad.
LAUREN: Why don't you get Doug to come and stay with us? You could spend some time with him, give your mum a break...

Brad says he can't ask that of Lauren, as they've only just got back together. But Lauren says No 32 is now Brad's home too, and says of course Doug is welcome.

The Waterhole
Aaron teases Tyler about Piper stalking him last night. Tyler admits he feels bad for Piper seeing him hook up with Courtney.

Meanwhile, Amy moans to Steph about Bossy getting in the way of her and Kyle TITTNL, by sitting and staring at them! Steph says Amy needs to insist to Kyle that Bossy go outside when they're getting amorous. Steph has an idea...

Kyle walks into the bedroom to see Amy lying there in some silky lingerie! She says it's her apology for walking out on him this morning.

KYLE: Maybe we should argue more often!

They start getting frisky again, but sure enough, Bossy appears at the end of the bed, staring them out! Amy tells Kyle to put her outside, more assertively this time, and it does the trick! They carry on where they left off on the bed - except that now Bossy is scratching at the door, trying to get back in! Eventually Kyle can't take it, and has to go and tend to Bossy!

AMY: Seriously?!

Kyle argues that Bossy needs special attention, as she's just had major surgery.

AMY: I need special attention!!

Kyle promises it won't be forever, but dashes out to make sure Bossy's okay. Amy looks fed up.

No 22
Lauren is in the kitchen with Terese, who says she appreciated the heads-up about her and Brad resuming their relationship. For her part, Lauren thanks Terese for being so tolerant of it.

It transpires that a family meeting has been called, comprising Lauren, Brad, Paige, Imogen, Josh and Terese, to discuss Doug's visit. Brad explains Doug is flying in today, and that he'll be staying at No 32 with him and Lauren.

Josh thinks it would be a better idea for Doug to stay at No 22, since at least he's familiar with this house - plus there are more of them around to watch out for him. Brad says it wouldn't be fair on Terese - but she replies that Doug's always welcome, and says she agrees with Josh that he should stay somewhere familiar.

BRAD: And what is so familiar about living in a house with Paul Robinson?
LAUREN: You know, maybe they're right?
BRAD: I thought you wanted him to stay with us.
LAUREN: Yeah, of course I do. But if it's gonna be better for Doug, then it might be worth considering.

But Brad announces to everyone that Doug is his father, and therefore that he'll be staying at No 32. Terese looks concerned.

The Waterhole
Aaron is dog-sitting Bossy, in order to give Kyle and Amy some alone-time! Steph makes a fuss over Bossy, but then promptly tells Aaron he needs to take her outside, as they have a no-dogs policy. Aaron begs Steph to let her stay until he's finished his beer, so Steph agrees.

Meanwhile, Tyler is sulking at the bar, while Courtney serves.

COURTNEY: So what's the story with you and this girl... Pippa.
TYLER: Piper. And there's no story. She was into me, then turns out it's nothing.
COURTNEY: So now she's sulking 'cause you found someone older and way hotter to hang out with?
TYLER: Something like that.
COURTNEY: Look - I date men, not boys. So what's it gonna be? Me, or Pippa?
TYLER: Piper!
COURTNEY: Whatever.

Tyler insists there's nothing going on with him and Piper.

COURTNEY: Are you coming?
TYLER: Where?
COURTNEY: To the cool room. I might need some... warming up.

Tyler briefly hesitates, then goes to follow her.

Ramsay Street
Brad's going to pick Doug up from the airport. Lauren suggests the kids could join them at No 32 for dinner later when he arrives, and Terese thinks that would be a good idea. She also reminds Brad that someone needs to fill Piper in on the situation - both Doug's arrival and Lauren and Brad getting back together - since she won't be happy to be left out of the loop.

Brad promises to call Piper en route to the airport, and drives off.

TERESE: It's gonna be tough, looking after Doug.
LAUREN: Yeah, well, he's deteriorated a lot since his last visit. Pam says he's wandering more and he's become argumentative.
TERESE: Yeah, well, look - Alzheimer's is one thing. But Doug can cause quite a stir if he doesn't approve of something.
LAUREN: ...
TERESE: Look, if it all gets too much, I'll give you a hand. Just let me know.
LAUREN: Thanks, Terese.

But Lauren looks worried.

Lassiter's Lake
Daniel and Imogen are walking through the park. She's getting 'mega-stressed' about her family situation, including Doug's condition, and is worried it will be too much for Daniel to handle.

IMOGEN: So if you wanted to end things now I wouldn't blame you.
DANIEL: How do you do that? Speak without even taking a breath?
IMOGEN: Daniel, I'm serious. Maybe we shouldn't get back together. I don't want you to end up hating me.
DANIEL: Maybe. Or maybe you need to accept the fact that I could never hate you. Imogen, I love you. You and all of your crazy family dramas!
IMOGEN: I love you too.

They hug.

Lassiter's Complex
Aaron turns up outside Harold's with Bossy, to find Piper glumly sipping on a milkshake. She realises she has three missed calls from Brad, and says that whatever he wants to tell her, she doesn't want to know!

AARON: It could be important.
PIPER: ...
AARON: Hey, what do I know? I'm babysitting a dog.

Aaron laments the end of his dancing career, his lack of a job and the fact he now has no boyfriend, since Nate's up and left. He also admits Tyler told him about Piper storming off when she saw him hooking up with Courtney.

AARON: He can be a bit of an idiot sometimes.
PIPER: Sometimes?
AARON: Alright, he's an idiot all the time.

He offers to talk about it, but Piper says she's cool with it. She does admit, though, that things are a bit of a mess at present - and says she'd normally vent about it on her vlog, but that she's still banned from doing it.

AARON: I could do your vlog for you!

Aaron seems scarily keen to be the new face of Pipe Up, claiming he's a fast learner. He manages to persuade Piper to give him a go, by doing his worst TV host impersonation.

No 32
Lauren is in the house, when she notices the sketch she did of Matt, still hanging on the wall. Looking sad, she stares at it for a while, then carefully takes it down from the wall. Paige comes in.

PAIGE: Oh, Mum. What are you doing?
LAUREN: I was just gonna put this in the spare room.
PAIGE: Are you sure you wanna do that?
LAUREN (tearful): Yeah. Matt was my life, you know. He will always, always belong in our home. But... I think it's time to move on. I meant what I said earlier about your father and wanting to make it work. And the only way that's gonna happen is if I try and put the past behind us, and make a fresh start.

Paige hugs an upset Lauren.

No 30
Amy turns up to see Steph, who's exhausted.

STEPH: Somehow Courtney took an hour to do the stock take in the cool room, and left me to man the floor on my own!
AMY: An hour?!
STEPH: Yes, don't even ask!

Amy says she's here to thank Steph for the advice she gave her about Kyle and Bossy. Amy reveals that she told a white lie to Kyle - namely, that Aaron practically begged her to let him babysit Bossy!

As Steph goes to make a cuppa, Amy glances out of the window.

AMY: Hey, I didn't know your mum was coming over for another visit?
STEPH: She isn't.
AMY: She's just pulled up.
STEPH: What? That is so typical of my mum. She always turns up unannounced.
AMY: Who's that kid with her?

Steph has joined Amy at the window, and gasps. We don't see what they see, because Lyn and her companion are Not In This Episode. But Steph tells us all we need to know...

STEPH: That's Charlie.
