Number 22
Terese is looking for aspirin. Josh arrives for breakfast, and Brad asks him how is gig went last night. Terese notes it must have gone well as he stayed out pretty late.

BRAD: Did you get lucky?
TERESE: Brad! I meant you must have gone out to celebrate.

Josh just says it took longer to pack up than expected. Josh apologises for having to borrow the car, but he has to take Amber to an appointment at the hospital (to get the amnio test results that I'm sure she got in last Friday's episode, the continuity person seems to be on holiday for this episode.) Terese apologises for not being able to come too but she has a meeting. Josh says if she gives him a call after the meeting, he can tell her the results. Brad and Terese ask for Josh to drop them off on the way. Josh gives Amber a call to let her know what is happening.

Terese whispers to Brad that she hopes the test results are positive. Brad doesn't want to even go there. (Having seen last Friday's episode when we first heard the results, I can assure you Brad, they are okay.)

The Waterhole
Nate, Sheila and a bunch of extras are sitting waiting impatiently for Terese to turn up, and Nate thinks its bad form for Terese to call an early morning meeting and not turn up on time. Naomi arrives and joyfully gives out a set of her business cards, asking Sheila to share them around. Terese arrives, apologising for being late, she woke up with a splitting headache and her son had to borrow the car. Sheila offers to get her a coffee, and takes Naomi aside to whisper about Terese. Sheila thinks Terese is hungover and genuinely thinks she has a problem. Naomi reminds her mum that Terese is her boss, and if she brings it up and she's wrong then it won't end well.

Men's Shed
Brad arrives to find Tyler sleeping on the sofa, just as Karl arrives behind him. Brad tells Tyler that he can't sleep here, but Karl says it is alright, having brought Tyler breakfast.

Brad tells Karl that 'ever since John Brant almost burnt the place down with a lit cigarette, no one is allowed to stay.' (Who the heck is John Brant?) Karl says he's aware of that incident (How, he wasn't on the show?) Karl says Tyler can't stay at home, and he can't stay at his place after the Ben situation. Brad says if they bend the rules for Tyler, before they know it there will be another John Brant situation (What situation? He never existed!) Karl says he'll talk to Tyler after work to sort something out.

Harold's
Susan is taking a selfie with cupcakes, and Paige joins her in the picture. Susan says it is for the 'Love of my Local' competition that the Star is running. They want people to upload selfies of why they love living in the area and there is a $2000 prize for your school.

Paige goes into the kitchen and spots the paintings that Lauren, Amber and Imogen painted.

LAUREN: It was a really fun afternoon.
PAIGE: Well that's impossible, because I wasn't there.
LAUREN: Well how could you be when you spend all your time with Brennan?
PAIGE: Haha, good point.

Paige says she isn't scared about anyone slashing her boxing bags now she's with Mark. Lauren has to go to the hospital now, she's praying for good news. Paige wishes there was more they could do. Lauren has been thinking about selling artwork in the store and using it towards the cost of the baby. Paige suggests putting up some of Amber's photos, raising awareness of her web store and getting her some more sales. Paige says she'll get some canvas after her shift. As Lauren heads to the hospital, Paige tells her to think positive, it might be some good news.

The Waterhole
Terese tells everyone that staff are taking advantage of the 'staff meals' system and ordering the most expensive meals and pouring them limitless drinks. Nate asks if the new rule also applies to management and wine? Terese says any wine she takes is for business meetings, and what might be perceived as management privilege is actually work. Terese leaves. One of the extras, Courtney, says if anyone gets the privilege of entertaining, it's Terese. Sheila asks the staff to show some respect and tells them all to open up the bar.

Erinsborough Hospital
Karl tells Josh, Amber and Lauren that the baby does have CDH but it is a mild form (tell us something we don't know Karl!) They've also ruled out Down Syndrome and heart defects. Amber, Josh and Lauren are relieved by the news. Karl says when the baby is born, once she's stabilised, they can operate to close the diaphragmatic hernia. Lauren picks up on Karl saying 'she.' Karl apologises for revealing the sex of the baby, but Josh and Amber are excited they're having a girl.

Harold's
Amber and Josh discuss baby names. Amber wants Mia or Angelina. Amber defends the name choice to Josh, as Angelina Jolie is a great role model. Sue arrives, and Josh looks awkward as she passes. He thinks they should go to buy some baby stuff but realises he used the $50 he had to pay for petrol. Amber says it is alright and goes to pay for their drinks. Amber says she'll go for a walk rather than to the shops with Josh, but tells him she'll see him later. A disappointed Josh leaves, as Naomi arrives into the shop.

Naomi asks Amber if she can leave her business cards here. Amber says she'll ask her mum when she gets back. Sue picks up the card and reads it aloud.

SUE: Actually working for business instead of relying on your partner's rich and powerful contacts, that's very good to see.

Naomi says that he has nothing to do with it. Sue tells Naomi to keep looking for work and someday somebody might actually give her a job. Naomi leaves.

Number 32 Back Yard
Paige and Lauren are preparing the canvas when Amber returns. Paige hugs Amber and says it's such good news. Amber knows the baby isn't out of the woods but she's got a good chance. They tell Amber what they're doing, she offers to help after she's spoken to her forum friend.

The Waterhole
Terese hugs Josh tightly.

TERESE: I can't tell you how relieved I am.
JOSH: You don't have to, the broken neck says everything.

Josh is on the 'Everything Mums & Bubs' forum. He reads a message from Amber saying 'Test results back! All good! Having a girl!' Josh starts typing a reply.

Number 32 Back Yard
Amber watches Paige and Lauren squabbling over the canvas when she gets a response to her forum post: 'Baby's Dad happy?' Amber responds: 'Took me out for cake to celebrate. Pretty nice. I had to pay, how hopeless is he?'

The Waterhole
Josh looks disappointed to read the message. At the bar, Sheila hands Terese a coffee while behind her back, Courtney mimes drinking so Sheila can see. Sheila asks Terese for a quiet word, walking a few steps to the left to have it. Sheila tells Terese she's concerned about her drinking. Terese tells her she has some nerve, and tells her to keep her opinions to herself.

The Garage
Karl asks Tyler how 'Operation Receivership' is going. Tyler is preparing for unemployment. Karl thinks whoever buys the place might take him on, but Tyler is doubtful with his history. They start talking about Tyler's living situation. Tyler says it's okay if Karl needs to kick him out of the Men's Shed. Karl asks about Tyler's dad, as he assumes that is the reason he doesn't want to move back home. Tyler nervously tidies things away, but Karl says he is here if he wants to talk and he can be trusted (just like he was earlier with the 'sex of the baby' secret.) Karl assures Tyler he won't say anything to Tyler's brothers. Tyler says his dad used to beat him up.

The Waterhole
Sheila and Naomi chat about Terese.

SHEILA: At least with me mentioning it, she might do something about it.
NAOMI: Yeah, or she could hate your guts and make you pay for it forever. I'm joking, I'm sorry, that's not fair, it was very brave of you to bring it up. I guess sometimes you shouldn't mind your own business. Speaking of business, I need to find some, bye mum.
SHEILA: Bye

Naomi passes Josh who is reading Sue Parker's card. Naomi wonders if he has one of her cards, she's been leaving them everywhere, and wonders if 'The Heat' need any promotion. Josh says they don't, but he could use advice. Josh tells her that a woman came up to him after the gig and offered to pay him money to spend the night with her. Josh says he couldn't go through with it though, but now that Amber thinks he is useless with money, maybe he should give this woman a call. Naomi asks him if he did do it, could he live with himself?

JOSH: It was Sue Parker.
NAOMI (gasp): Sue Parker, how hideous for you. But how totally glorious for me!

Naomi gives Josh some money.

NAOMI: It's not a lot, but at least you didn't have to compromise yourself to earn it.
JOSH: What did I do?
NAOMI: Joshy, you just gave me the most precious gift of them all. Information.

The Garage
Tyler tells Karl that his dad was gutted when Mark left home to join the force; that his golden child didn't want to follow in his footsteps. It made him bitter and twisted, and Tyler was only 13 at the time. Tyler's mum was in Adelaide at the time with his sister and he didn't want to leave his mates, plus Aaron was still at home. Then Aaron and his dad had a big blow up and Aaron left, which is when his dad started laying into him. By then he was only 15 and was too small to fight back. He didn't tell anyone because he thought he could handle it. Tyler used to notice the signs of when his dad was getting into one of his moods and he would disappear to a mate's place. He never told his brothers, and assures Karl he doesn't want them to know. He doesn't want to live in that house. Karl says there is another option.

Number 28
Susan is surprised that Karl has asked Tyler to live with them again. Karl and Tyler explain that he doesn't get along with his father and that Brad wants him to leave the Men's shed. Tyler apologises for what happened with Ben and it won't happen again, and he'll only be staying temporarily until his dad moves back to Port Lincoln. Tyler also promises to do his best to keep the house clean. Susan says it's alright. As Tyler leaves to get his stuff, Susan asks Karl what is really going on here. Karl says he can't betray Tyler's confidence, but he'll keep a close eye on him.

Number 22
Terese returns home to find Brad working at home, organising the school concert. Brad writes down a note about Josh and Amber's baby, placing it in a jar full of notes. Terese says Piper will love that. Terese says she's had a bad day but luckily she can work at home for the rest of the day. Brad offers her a glass of wine, but she says she's trying to cut down, she's trying to get healthy. Brad says a colleague has just finished 'Dry July', where people sponsor you to give up alcohol for a month, and his colleague felt fantastic afterwards. He suggests they do it, they could call it 'Alcohol-free August.' The money they raise could go to CDH Australia. Terese considers it.

The Waterhole
Naomi sees Sue on the phone and sits down at her table. Naomi says she's ran into a good friend of hers, Josh Willis. Naomi indicates she knows she tried to pay for a night with Josh, and says there are members of the council and general public who won't be as liberal minded as she is. Sue says she isn't able to give Naomi the job, it has to be decided upon by a committee. Naomi says she doesn't want it handed to her, she wants a chance to be considered for the job on her own merits, like she should have been to begin with.

(Later)
Nate asks for Naomi's opinion about a menu. After she's answered his question, she goes over to Sue. Sue says she's spoken to the others councillors and they have agreed to consider her application on one condition. If she can do something bigger and better on a budget then she won't only be in the running, she'll be top of their list. Naomi says it'll be too easy.

Number 32 Back Yard
Paige tells Mark on the phone that Lauren and Amber have gone to get some food for a celebratory lunch, but she will definitely see him later. When she hangs up the phone she hears a noise inside the house. She shouts out, thinking Lauren or Amber has forgotten something, heading to the door, nervously calling out to them.

Unmissable Drama
- Paige looks around suspiciously.
- Sonya tells Toadie she suspects something has happened between Kyle and Amy.
- Daniel sees Caspar kissing Imogen.
- Mark gets a phone call from Paige while she's telling someone to leave now!
- The police arrive at Paige's house.
