- Tyler being beaten up.
- Karl buying into Off Air and annoyed at Susan ‘taking over'.
- Brad giving his son advice on how to get a better job than the one he's been offered.
- Josh ignoring his dad and signing on the dotted line.
“Are you insane?!” Imogen asks her brother on hearing about his new job and no matter how hard she talks to him about it, his mind isn't for changing. Josh initially denies doing it for Amber, it's simply him wanting to earn money but eventually adds it will show him in a good light as he'll be able to support the baby financially.
IMOGEN: And there it is. You're trying to buy her love.
JOSH: No I'm not.
IMOGEN: Good because you could buy her the most expensive stroller in the world and it wouldn't make her love Daniel any less.
JOSH: I know that.
IMOGEN: Just so we're clear!
Tyler denies he's in pain when Paige visits however its more than evident he is but is fearful of what might happen if they can't repay the cash which is being picked up later that evening. Unfortunately they are miles away from the $6k but Paige has an idea, to promote half price car washes for the 2014 Dingoes squad, in an attempt to find out who has a broken keyring.
“Sometimes I dream about wringing his neck,” Susan tells Nate after its clear that Karl is still off with her and doesn't show any signs of letting up.
Kyle is taking a quick break because he is knackered and Josh suggests it's because he deficient in nutrients so tries to make Kyle his first customer but as soon as he goes to open his sample box, Kyle quickly does a runner.
Sheila isn't too chuffed to hear that Susan has now added ‘barman' to her impressive list of talents and plans on getting one over her neighbour by holding a bingo night in aid of charity at the bar.
SHEILA: Let's see Miss Hoity- Toity compete with that!
Amber is getting more practice in by babysitting Nell and reports to Josh that it's all going well. He tells her about the non- sale to Kyle and she gives him some advice on how to become a salesman by using visualisation techniques.
While trying to wash cars, Imogen is unloading on Paige what Josh has done before disappearing because Paige is “setting feminism back a thousand years!”
Despite it initially looking like a dumb plan, they get a break when Glen from Lassiters arrives and hands over a broken keyring. Paige questions how he broke it and he casually replies that he must have dropped it. Tyler gets the broken bit out of his pocket and it's a perfect fit to the remainder of the keyring.
Susan finishes off the books and hands them over to Karl before adding that she's going home too. However before she leaves, Sheila has arrived to check out “the competition” and suggests to her that she's not cut out to be a barmaid. Susan is somewhat surprised at the accusation and much to Karl's annoyance, decides to get behind the bar and serve!
The duo decide to confront Glen but he denies being a thief… well a 100 percent thief as he admits to taking some of the money to buy a Helen Daniels painting of the Bungle Bungles from Jayden for his mum who isn't well. They tell him to take it back and get a refund but he's not sure if that will be possible.
Josh tries his sales pitch on Karl after engaging him in conversation about the Tour de France.
Sheila isn't amused to discover that Off Air are hosting a charity bingo event that night. After denying that he was the one who told Susan, Nate says that it's probably been planned for ages as it's something you can't organise in a couple of hours.
NATE: Great minds think alike.
SHEILA: Do not compare who I am and what I do to that second grade pretender!
NATE: Hey Sheila!
SHEILA: I am going on the record right here, right now and saying Susan Kennedy may have started this but Sheila Canning will end it.
NATE: You really want to go head- to- head with Susan again? It didn't play out so well last time did it… for either of you or your cakes!
SHEILA: I've learnt from my past mistakes!
Josh comes in to thank Amber for her visualisation advice as he's made two sales and she's pleased to hear it until he says what the visualisation was (the baby). He explains that there's nothing more important in his life than the baby and securing their future. Amber can tell that but admits that it's weird talking about the fact there's a tiny human growing inside her.
Tyler interrupts Jayden working out on the punching bag to demand their $6k back but is told it's too late as he's already spent it and they should really take it up with Glen.
TYLER: We need that money.
JAYDEN: And I've already told you it's already gone.
As they set up for the bingo, Karl invites Susan to be the bingo caller if she's planning on sticking around. “Thank you darling,” she replies and gives Karl a quick kiss.
Sheila (and Nate) come rushing into the bar and she accuses Susan of stealing her idea. This is news to Susan and Karl replies that it's been planned for ages by Daniel as they needed a permit and offers to show it to them so that there's no doubt in their minds. Quickly backtracking, Sheila now accuses them of stealing their customers and Susan's reply is “if you can't stand the heat…” Nate suggests they leave but Sheila plans on sticking around to “check out the action.” Susan is happy with that, getting in a “you might even learn something,” comment!
Sheila can't help but make sarcastic comments as Susan calls out the numbers. Eventually Susan has had enough and calls on Sheila to come up and get whatever it is off her chest so the random silent extras can get back to playing bingo. When she makes no sign of going up (and she's now all on her own as Nate does a runner to meet Tyler) Karl politely asks her to leave and the extras give her a sarcastic round of applause as she eventually does that.
Josh is given Jayden the hard sell (telling him he needs to bulk up) when Imogen interrupts him to chastise her brother for using body image as the selling point. “I'm just doing whatever I've got to do to make the sale,” Josh tells her and thinks Jayden can handle what he's said to him.
Despite their best efforts, the duo are still $4500 dollars short and to quote Tyler, they're “screwed.” They also plan on not turning up to the garage… that is until Sheila wonders why Tyler is still at the bar and isn't meeting Nate who is at the garage waiting for him. That's set the panic off in the duo!
Nate lets himself into the garage via the side door and tells Tyler to stop messing around (since there doesn't appear to be any sign of him in the garage). Nate's phone starts ringing – it's Tyler calling but before he can speak, someone punches him!
- Paige/Tyler finding Nate.
- Tyler reassuring Paige they won't need to keep lying for much longer.
- Mark coming round to talk to Paige after hearing the Tyler/Paige conversation.
- Paige confessing to Mark she wants him
