Imogen congratulates a thrilled Josh, then asks about Daniel. Josh shrugs.
Daniel starts stacking chairs, then throws some across the room.
Sheila, Nate and Toadie are watching the video - entitled Cranky Granny - of Sheila's rant on GrooveView. She's worried about losing the defamation case, but Toadie says the guy doesn't really have a case. Nate says that Sheila was just defending him, and Sheila says that it doesn't show the customer's homophobic remarks. Toadie says it would be good if they could find the uploader. Meanwhile, Sheila should be nice.
TOADIE: Happy granny, not cranky granny. Got it?
Naomi and Paul are discussing Daniel and Amber. Paul has got a legal document drawn up which will protect Daniel's interests if they split up. Naomi tells him it's tactless, but he says it's the logical thing to do.
No 32 - outside
Paige is swimming because that means she's in her bikini. Amber tells her that Daniel didn't come home until late. Paige tells her he's probably fine. He turns up, and Paige leaves. Daniel tells Amber they can make it work.
Brad says that Josh was upbeat about the news, and Terese points out that it's a big commitment. Josh gets a text from Amber saying she wants him to meet her and Daniel. Josh asks Brad what it was like when he and Beth had Ned. He says it was difficult, especially after the divorce. Awkward. Josh goes off to call Doug and Pam, while Terese and Brad talk about becoming grandparents.
TERESE: I'm gonna share a grandchild with Lauren. It's not exactly what I had in mind.
Brad says he'll go and talk to Lauren and Terese says she wants to be there.
Daniel tells Karl he expected the baby was going to be his, but he's going to find a way to make it work. Karl is impressed. Paul arrives and tells Daniel to feel free to tell Karl to back off. Daniel explains that Karl is trying to help, and Paul says he is too. Daniel knows what his advice will be: walk away and don't get involved. Paul hands him the legal documents, and Daniel throws them in the bin.
Sheila is shouting at a supplier, and Nate reminds her she's supposed to be nice. She gets to practice on Karl, who negotiates a discount! Sheila scowls.
Naomi tells Paul he should follow Karl's lead and listen to Daniel, rather than going with the legal document.
PAUL: You know I am no good at this touchy feely nonsense.
NAOMI: Yes you are. OK, what about all those letter you wrote your kids?
PAUL: But that was different. I thought I was dying.
NAOMI: There were amazing, OK? Pages of touchy feely nonsense.
She suggests that he give Daniel the letter he wrote.
Imogen tells Paige that she is trying to find out who uploaded the granny clip. Amber comes along and tells them they can stop talking about her (not that she's self- centred or anything). They says they're concerned about her. Amber says that she and Daniel are meeting with Josh. Paige says it's an unusual situation, but there's one guarantee.
PAIGE: We are gonna be the coolest aunties to little junior.
PAIGE: Yeah. I thought we'd give the little peanut a name.
The three of them agree they like the name. Personally, I think peanut is more original.
No 22 / No 32
Brad, Terese and Lauren are meeting to discuss the situation. Lauren thinks they should wait and see what happens, while Terese wants weekly meetings. Brad and Lauren don't think it's a good idea.
Josh says he'd like to be involved. Daniel says that's fair, but Amber should have the final say.
LAUREN: I'd prefer to let Amber take the lead for now.
TERESE: Wow! Amber taking the lead is what got us in this mess in the first place.
Amber says that Josh can come to medical appointments, and Daniel says he's fine with that. Josh tells Daniel he's being really good about it.
Brad says that everyone makes mistakes, and things get a bit heated as Lauren feels that Terese is blaming Amber.
BRAD: No- one's blaming anyone.
TERESE: Of course you aren't. Because then the two of you would have to admit that this is exactly what happened 20 years ago.
Lauren leaves as Terese tries to apologise.
Paul comes in and sees the envelope with the legal documents in the bin. He puts a letter to Daniel on the bar. Daniel picks it up and reads.
PAUL (voice- over): Dear Daniel, I may not be around much longer and there are things that I need to tell you that I'm not able to say out loud. You always see the best in people, even me. You have a big heart, filled with love and understanding, qualities that I admire more than I ever say. You're not just my nephew. I consider you a son. My heart was broken when I lost Kate and you helped fill that awful void. You've won my trust, respect and love. You deserve nothing but happiness and I hope you find it.
Imogen arrives and tells Sheila, Toadie and Nate that she's found the person who uploaded the video, and he's willing to upload the whole thing. Nate's doubtful if it's a good idea, but Imogen thinks people need to know and Sheila tells her to make the call.
Terese is busy cleaning. Brad tells her it's not going to fix things… He tells her she was harsh, and offers to go to see Lauren for her, but she says she will go.
Nate tells Sheila that she's a top news- story and a gay icon. She rushes off to put on more lipstick.
Daniel comes in and hugs Paul. He says that Paul's letter is exactly what he needed.
Paul tells Naomi that they are going out for lunch - he wants to thank her for that wonderful advice. She wants to know if she should send out the other letters, but he insists it was a one off. She tells him his kids would appreciate it.
NAOMI: They might come and see you more often… or, you know, ever.
He insists the letters should not be sent, and goes off to change. Naomi calls Tracy (the only PI in Erinsborough) and asks her to trace an address in Mount Merion. She's holding the letter to Amy Williams.
Lauren is drawing when Terese arrives. She apologises to Lauren, saying she was stressed and anxious. Lauren says she understands, and admits that she has been relying on Brad a lot recently.
LAUREN: It's not fair on Brad and it's not fair on you and I want you to know it's going to stop.
TERESE: He told me what happened when I was in Canada. And I'm really glad that you realise that it was inappropriate.
LAUREN: I didn't mean to sleep over, it just happened.
LAUREN: That's not what he told you, is it?
TERESE: No. No. It's not.
