Paul is taking "Dog" for a walk, followed by Naomi. She offers to clear up after Dog, and Terese comes along and asks if that's in her job description.
NAOMI: I'm an assistant. I assist.
TERESE: You always find people to do your dirty work, don't you Paul?
PAUL: Hey, I'm resourceful.
TERESE: It wasn't a compliment.
She asks Naomi about Sharon, and Naomi tells her that Sharon was on her way to see Lauren to pay her respects. Terese runs off, saying Lauren doesn't need that.
No 32 garden
Sharon tells Lauren what a lovely, genuine man Matt was, and Lauren asks her what she wants. Sharon wants to confess what happened, and Lauren explains that Matt told her and they made their peace. Sharon is just about to continue, when Terese runs in. She claims that Sheila needs her help - urgently - and Lauren says she has a few things to do. Sharon has something else to say:
SHARON: All marriages have problems in the end. Don't blame yourself.
LAUREN: I don't.
Terese drags her off before she can say any more.
Naomi is helping Paul with some paperwork, and then helps him loosen his tie. Sheila watches with a frown.
Nate comments to Tyler that it might be worth listening to Mark about Dimato, given that he had crashed Matt's funeral. Tyler says that Mark has a go at him even when he does the right thing. He tells Nate that Mark was always the "golden child" and the rest of them were never up to scratch with their father.
Terese tells Sharon that Lauren's good memory of Matt is what is getting her through. Sharon says that she knew about the first time...
TERESE: Telling her that he kissed you is a completely different story.
SHARON: A truthful one.
TERESE: Just let it go, OK?
Sharon admits it might be a kindness. Brad comes in and she checks him out. Terese suggests she go and see her family, which she agrees to do.
Waterhole - outside
Nate and Tyler have their pool cues and are pretending to be ninjas as Michelle looks on. Mark comes out of the station, as Nate and Tyler play-fight with the cues. Nate breaks a glass. Mark walks up and lays into Tyler. Nate says it was an accident, but Mark tells Tyler to grow up. Michelle is still watching.
Paul comes out, making a call, followed by Naomi. She in turn is followed by Sheila, who asks if she's made up with Mark. Naomi says they're not fighting and not to interfere. Sharon comes along, saying that Kyle is out, but she wants to cook him breakfast. She has arranged to stay over at No 26.
Michelle asks Tyler if he's OK, after she saw him and Mark earlier. He says he's fine.
MICHELLE: Still, no-one deserves to be humiliated by their own family.
Mark tells Lauren he'll keep an eye on the house while she's away. He says he's hoping to make a major arrest tonight, which she assumes is Dimato.
LAUREN: Don't let him win.
MARK: I'll get him.
LAUREN: No, that's not what I mean. I mean...I don't want you turning this into some vendetta like you did with Montague.
She reminds him that Matt had a choice, and so does he.
Michelle gives Tyler a list of cars and asks if he could get them.
Lauren has the urn from the crematorium. Brad and Terese arrive to take her to the airport. Lauren thanks Terese for dealing with Sharon. Terese says she hopes Sharon hadn't upset her. Lauren says it was hard.
LAUREN: But it would have been tougher if Matt had betrayed me.
Lauren says she doesn't know if she's going to cope and Terese assures her she will, as she has to for the family.
Waterhole - outside
The Cannings are having breakfast, paid for by Sharon. Naomi has to leave to meet Paul, to Sheila's dismay.
SHEILA: If she kept running off to meet Brenna, potential son-in-law of my dreams, I could see some sense in it but she hardly sees him anymore.
SHARON: You should give her a talking to.
SHEILA: Don't you think I've tried?
KYLE: Why don't you try NOT interfering, Gran?
Georgia says Naomi's got a good job, but Sheila says that anything involving Paul is not good.
The police have arranged three cars as bait for Dimato's gang. Mark is sure that it will work, since he's had some tips from an informant (Matt).
Tyler takes a call about a car then looks at a holiday brochure for Bali. Michelle arrives, and he says he's in.
Naomi has brought a cooked breakfast for Paul. She persuades him to rename Dog as B2, which he agrees. He thanks her for her help, saying it's above and beyond professional.
PAUL: I feel safe when you're around. I feel I can trust you and that's not something I've said about very many people.
NAOMI: Wow. Look out, I might think you're a human being if you're not careful.
She notices that Paul doesn't look well, then he's sick down her dress.
Waterhole - outside
Sharon persuades Sheila that she should speak to Paul, so she leaves to do so. Terese comes along, and when she finds out that Sharon is staying a while, she asks if she'd like to go on a cruise.
SHARON: Wow. You really don't want Lauren finding out about Matt and me, do you?
Sharon asks if it's because Lauren and Brad have history... Then she says she'll miss out on time with her family. Terese offers her some spending money. Sharon agrees.
Naomi and Paul are in dressing gowns. Paul says he's sent Naomi's dress to be dry-cleaned and it should be back very soon. The intercom bleeps, which they are very impressed about. However, it's not the dry-cleaning: it's Sheila.
SHEILA: What exactly is going on here?
A car park
Michelle drops Tyler off and he has some gadget which unlocks the door of a Porsche (I think). He starts the engine.
There's beeping, as the display shows that one of the "bait" cars has been taken.
MARK: All right, let's go!
A car park
Tyler drives off.
- Mark says he'll do whatever it takes
- The police arrive and Tyler and Dimato run away
- Toadie says that Georgia is going to need all the help she can get
- Karl says it's crossing the line
