Previously on Neighbours
- Dimato presenting Tyler with a shopping list of cars he wants.
- Paul suggesting to Nick that perhaps they could find another site for the cancer centre.
- Nick informing Georgia that he doesn't answer to her.
- Georgia gossiping to Naomi about Nick doing things off the system.
- Nick confirming that he's got things planned when Naomi gives him the heads up that Georgia is almost onto him.
There is an update to the credits – Chris has been removed from the pool scene has been replaced in it by Tyler.
Imogen arrives for her check up with Nick and Georgia tells her which room to go wait in.
Georgia has spotted some celebrity (Janine Morgan) arriving for a procedure but the nursing supervisor (Carol) warns her to keep quiet due to confidentiality. “I wouldn't dream of it,” Georgia replies.
Nick arrives and brings a peace offering of coffee (and an apology) for Georgia. She rejects his coffee but at least she doesn't throw this one over his nether regions!
The bar is rather busy with people seeking coffee due to Harold's being closed and Sheila remarks to Mark that she thinks it will be a couple of weeks before Lauren is fit to re- open the store.
Tyler is in looking for a coffee too and Mark comments that he's still wearing yesterday's clothes and has a go at him for partying all- night on a weekday and that he should be working at the garage. Tyler replies that word is out about Danni so people have been cancelling putting their cars there, so there is no work for him to do.
Nick has found someone else for Georgia's coffee – Imogen as he gives her a check- up about her asthma. As they chat afterwards, he gives her some advice on how to deal with the grief at #32 and in turn, she suggests he approaches the celebrity who is in for the procedure about funding his cancer centre.
Naomi is severely stressed when she literally runs into Mark while cutting through the complex heading towards Harold's. He bemoans the fact they never seem to see each other lately what with their work and suggests dinner but she's got a better idea – using the room she had for the festival since nobody has asked for the key back!
Naomi suggests calling a temporary halt to discussing things with Paul as he is starting to feel extremely nauseous during his chemo session.
Outside in the reception, Susan/Naomi are surprised to see each other and Naomi has to lie (unlike Susan who is there for an MS check- up) about why she is at the hospital.
Tyler is concerned about Paige when he spots her running past the garage so suggests she comes with him for a bike ride to help clear her head.
Nick comes in to check on how Paul is doing and hears that Paul has now decided to back the building being used for the cancer centre rather than it being sold to the developer and thinks with some of lobbying, the council will approve too.
NICK: You're a smart man Mayor Robertson.
PAUL: No, I'm a sick man Dr Petrides.
NICK: I don't know how to thank you.
PAUL: Well you could start by giving me the best treatment possible.
Nick leaves the room to take a call, it would appear Georgia has put in a complaint about him.
Number 32 (backyard)
Despite Tyler commenting that the bike ride is usually enough to clear someone's head, Paige is taking out her remaining frustration on a punch bag – she's frustrated at not being able to help anyone following Matt's death. She comments to him on the comparison of how the Turners are dealing with it (facing it) compared to how her adoptive family would (being sent away for a change of scenery).
PAIGE: I just have no idea where I fit into it.
TYLER: Maybe you just have to be there for them.
PAIGE: I don't even know if they want me around.
TYLER: Why wouldn't they?!
PAIGE: Matt… Matt took a really long time to accept me and maybe they don't need reminding of that.
TYLER: If something bad like that happened to me, I'd want Mark around.
TYLER: He's family. I think the Turners will feel the same way about you.
Paige still isn't sure about that, so Tyler has another idea on how to clear her mind – he picks her up and carries her to the pool but ends up in the water too after she pulled him in while falling.
Georgia and Susan are chatting about the emails Karl is sending them from London and Susan confirms that he will be back before the birth of their latest grandchild (due in around 3 weeks' time).
Nick comes looking for a file from Georgia and the pair are extremely cool towards each other. They briefly discuss the meeting they've both to attend later on too.
“What was that about?” Susan asks after Nick heads to see the patient he was after the file for.
GEORGIA: Looks like someone's finally getting their comeuppance!
Paul is back from his treatment and assures Naomi that he is fine but that doesn't last long before he's sprinting to the bathroom.
Sheila convinces Mark to go for the more expensive champagne since her daughter is somewhat a high- maintenance person when he comes in to buy a bottle.
Tyler must wish he can avoid running into his brother as he gets another lecture from him about skiving work despite Tyler again saying there isn't much to do. “Save the lecture,” Tyler pleads adding that he's not a kid anymore but is told to stop acting like one by Mark.
Someone seems to be taking an avid interest in Tyler today – Dimato's Michelle as she witnessed this scene as well as watching him previously convincing Paige to go for the bike ride.
Commercial break later and Tyler has seen Michelle and wants to know what she's doing. She informs him that Dimato is happy with the work done so far and that his debt (to him) is now cleared and hands him a bonus for the job done (an envelope full of $100 notes).
MICHELLE: Mr Dimato thinks you're an asset worth holding onto.
MICHELLE: Tyler, you're smart. So, what do you say, are you up for more work?
Penthouse suite/Naomi's hotel room
Naomi settles Paul onto the sofa but before she can leave to meet Mark, he's running to the bathroom again. Downstairs in her hotel room, Mark is getting the room ready by lighting the candles and making sure the champers is on ice. He then texts her to see if she's on her way. Naomi texts back that she's still working and isn't going to make their rendezvous which immediately sours Mark's face when he reads said text.
Paul comes out of the bathroom and asks Naomi get housekeeping up but she goes off to clear the mess up and to sort out some fresh clothes for him.
Georgia gives Carol her side of the story – the protocol at Erinsborough Hospital is everyone needs to log in the patient if they are using a treatment room so nursing staff can know what beds are available. “Quite right,” Carol replies before asking Nick why he didn't do that. Nick cites that the patient he's treating wants total privacy and got it approved by a member of the hospital board.
CAROL: Who did you speak with?
CAROL: Unfortunately Gary doesn't speak for the entire board.
Nick then apologises for his misunderstanding of the rules and while Carol takes a call, Georgia wants to know why he just didn't say that to her earlier.
GEORGIA: I know you're up to something.
Carol finishes her call then tells Georgia that they need to speak alone as some patient has put in a complaint about her! Georgia is totally flamer gasped at the news as Nick exits with room complete with a smile on his face! Carol explains that it's the celebrity Janine Morgan who has complained and is apparently furious!
Final commercial break later, Georgia is trying to say she'd never do what she's been accused of (making a comment online) and goes to show Carol her phone to prove her innocence… except it shows her commenting on said celebrity! “I didn't write this,” Georgia pleads but its falling on deaf ears with Carol.
GEORGIA: I didn't do this Carol, I swear.
CAROL: I want to believe you Georgia. I'm afraid I have no choice but to suspend you while we investigate it further.
- Georgia fearful about her career unless she clears her name.
- Sheila commenting that Naomi's job with Paul is too important.
- Danni asking for a big favour.
- Lauren delivering her eulogy to Matt.
- Mark informing Dimato he's not welcome at the wake.
