- The Yarn bombers identity being revealed.
- Daniel teaching Imogen to knit.
- Imogen confirming Naomis suspicion that she loves Daniel.
- Terese trying to gain some insight from Matt on Brad/Lauren.
- Terese ordering Lauren to leave her house.
Brad/Lauren meet in the middle of the street and discuss how things are going (not) with their respective partners. Lauren comments that Matt is too busy to give her a lift to work, so Brad volunteers to walk with her until Terese spots him and offers him only a lift.
Naomi gives Imogen the run down on her options coming clean to Amber (doesn't want to go there!), avoid the happy couple (shes hide forever from them) or white ant the relationship and become a social pariah like me.
IMOGEN: Please tell me theres an option four?
NAOMI: Suck it up?
She does through offer an option 4 aversion therapy like what her mum used but eventually tells Imogen that shes all out of options and shes on her own.
Lauren eventually arrives for work and confirms to Bailey that the insurance company is going to be picking up the tab for the repairs when she spots him looking at the damage. When he pushes her on why the repairs werent done pre- tornado, she admits that its hard to push Terese for an answer just now.
BAILEY: I realise you guys are going through stuff but Gramps could have died okay. If she didnt authorise the maintenance like she said, you cannot let her get away with that.
I hate the women I've become, Terese admits after unloaded onto Susan what she saw this morning and is told to stop letting her imagination get away with her! How do I do that? she admits especially since Lauren lives across the road and asks Susan how she dealt with the women that have chased Karl.
SUSAN: As I said, with Sarah and Izzy it certainly wasnt all one- sided.
TERESE: Yes, but it started the same? You know you're neighbours, one minute you're thinking you're having friendly conversations and the next lines are being crossed.
SUSAN: I suppose.
TERESE: And you, you know, the wife you're blind to it. You think you've got all these friends and everything's wonderful and then its too late.
Susan tries to say that it might not be the same for her and Terese admits that she doesn't know what to think right now.
Meanwhile, Sheila comes off the phone having arranged to cook a meal for Alan and Naomi demands she sets the table for 3 in case he is a psychopath! After Sheila moves away, Paul warns Naomi off sabotaging the date but then is attention is drawn to another issue Lauren has sent him a text message re the cooling system at Harold's. He is puzzled about this and heads over to where Terese (and Susan) are sitting and tells her to deal with it.
The yarn bombers arrive to drop off their supplies and discuss what is being bombed that night although Amber warns them that her dad will be on duty!
You've got it bad, Imogen comments to Amber when Daniel leaves to hit the first target and she replies that when he looks at her, its like they are the only two people in the world. I never thought Id find anyone like that, Amber then adds causing Imogen to feel like crap even further. Suddenly remembering who she is talking to, Amber and quickly stops but then on hearing Daniels signal, rushes out to join him bombing something.
Naomi is dolling her mum up and taking the opportunity to quiz her at the same time about Alan but isn't too pleased at the small amount of info that her mum knows about him (that hes retired and doesn't know his marital status). She isn't happy at all at her mum dating Alan but Sheila informs her that she is going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
SHEILA: I would like your support but if I don't get it, it won't kill me. I am giving this my best shot.
Daniel/Imogen caper in the garage with the yarn as Amber bombs the phone booth across the road but all 3 suddenly hide when the spot a police car pull into the garage forecourt its Matt checking the garage.
Imogens heart is thumping as she/Daniel stand very close (but out of Matts view) and once he departs, Daniels tells her about his thumping heart but for an entirely different reason to Imogen!
Terese explains to Lauren why she is there when Lauren seemed surprised to see her in the store. Lauren explains why she is pushing for an answer about the cooling system adding that she isn't after compensation (which Terese seemed to think she was after) and is aghast at Terese wanting to get the lawyers involved when she explained what she was really after was a proper explanation and apology.
The tension in the store then rises when Brad enters looking for a snack after his workout but seeing the pair of them there he wants instead to talk about earlier.
BRAD: It was awkward and it shouldnt have been.
TERESE: (to Brad) You don't have to explain. (To Lauren) An apology from the lawyers is the best I can do.
She then walks out of the store, telling Brad she will see him later.
A nervous Sheila answers the door to Alan and is immediately put at ease by him. She then does the intros to Naomi (and issues a warning after a comment) before showing Alan into the kitchen to open the wine he's brought.
Susan promises she isn't checking up on Terese after calling round when she spotted the car in the driveway. Terese tells her about what happened at Harold's when Brad appeared and Susan asks where her insecurity is coming from since she trusts Brad.
SUSAN: Is it Lauren? Is it Lauren you don't trust?
TERESE: She left Ramsay Street pregnant with his baby. I mean she was clearly thinking of him I mean she drew that sketch.
SUSAN: That was just a young girls drawing.
TERESE: Susan she hid it from Matt for 20 years!
SUSAN: Lauren loves Matt, they've built a life together.
TERESE: It doesn't mean she doesn't find herself looking across the road at the man who broke her heart, wondering how things may have been different?
SUSAN: Alright, there's obviously a lot going on but you need to stop looking for answers and concentrate on what you do know, which is that you have a beautiful family who love you and need you.
When was the last time you all sat down and had dinner together? Susan asks and that gets Terese thinking.
The yarn bombers are onto a new target the complex although Amber is worried that if they get caught, Daniel could lose his job (hes more than happy at that prospect!) and he tells her to relax as its making them look suss! He tries to tell her that nobody is looking at them, but someone is Imogen with jealous eyes as they pash and so much so, she abandons the bombing and walks off.
Naomi still isn't warming to Sheilas date but it could be more the topic of conversation (re- enactment of 50s movies). Alan suggests they go see an Alfred Hitchcock film at a drive through and Sheila is more than happy to go with him next week. When Sheila heads off to get her jacket (as Alan fancies a stroll to let aid his digestion), Alan goes to think Naomi for her company and he kisses her (quickly) full on, on the lips rather than on the cheek. He doesn't seem to think hes done wrong but Naomi does from the facial expression.
Naomi is telling Josh about the kiss as he cleans the gym up and he tells her to stop freaking out, it was probably just an accident. Shes still not happy and adds that she doesn't want her mum dating a weirdo! Well tell her what happened, is Joshs reply but she is against that in case Sheila thinks she is making it up because she is already against the relationship. Joshs next plan of action is diversion tactics but a text from his mum summoning him to a family meal at The Waterhole throws that plan in doubt. She tells him to go because,
NAOMI: I need to look after my mum, you need to look after yours too.
Shes just not used to hanging out with us, is Ambers take on why Imogen suddenly bailed on them when Daniel raised it. Maybe I'm the problem? he asks and is told that perhaps Imogen just needs to get to know him better.
Lassiters hotel foyer
Lauren decides to approach Paul direct rather than get the lawyers involved as Terese wanted. Hes a bit perplexed over it so she fills him in about a week before the storm, she told Terese that the cooling system was playing up but since the costs were going to be high shed need his approval. Paul replies that he never saw any figures, which now puzzles her as Terese said that shed emailed him but hadnt got back to her. Lauren then adds that if the work had been done they may have found the structural damage earlier and that shed rather not get the lawyers involved, suggesting that Paul goes to visit Lou and apologise to him.
LAUREN: No you won't?
PAUL: Well no, I never received an email from Terese, so if anybody should apologise, it should be her.
Lauren is gobsmacked at hearing that one as Paul announces her time is up and he departs.
Lauren has told Bailey what Paul said and he wants her to confront Terese about it. He also volunteers to close the store up so she can talk it over with Matt who is in the bar.
Lauren marches confidently into the bar and asks Matt if the seat beside him is taken! He tries to get rid of her but shes not going and wants them to just ignore everyone else for the next hour at least but then Brad/Terese walk into the bar to meet their kids.
After checking on what the kids have been up to, Terese then suggests everyone switches off their mobiles but first shes got to sort out an issue Paul has texted her about.
Angrily, Terese goes up to where Lauren/Matt are sitting to have it confirmed if Lauren talked to Paul (she did) then shows her the proof that she did send Paul an email. Lauren looks at the phone while Terese spouts off and notices that Terese sent it to the wrong Paul she sent it to Paul Robins at Lassiters Dubai!
MATT: Looks like you're the one that owes the apology Terese.
Terese just glowers at Lauren as she grabs her phone and stomps back to her family.
Final commercial break later and the kids are trying to reassure their mum that it was a simple mistake but shes annoyed at making the silly mistake in the first place. Well get past this, Brad adds but Terese wants them to call a halt to their night, so Brad volunteers to pay the bill and hell meet the rest at the car.
With Matt away to the toilet, Lauren goes over to talk to Brad to explain why she wanted to get to the bottom of things and didn't mean to make things worse. They've barely started speaking when a very annoyed Terese returns to the bar (she forgot her jacket) and Brad explains that they were just talking.
TERESE: I believe you (to Brad) but you (Lauren) I'm not so sure about!
LAUREN: Excuse me?!
TERESE: I've wanted to believe that theres nothing going on here
BRAD: (interrupting) Hun
TERESE: No, no but I can't ignore all the things that have happened.
LAUREN: Adelaide was a mistake.
TERESE: I'm not talking about Adelaide.
(Matt re- enters the bar and sees what is going on)
TERESE: I'm talking about your whole behaviour. Now go back to the moment you left Ramsay Street 20 years ago.
LAUREN: You know everything to know about Paige.
TERESE: I am talking about you! Oh oh, you couldn't wait to get your hands on Brad in that hotel bedroom could you? All this time you wanted to make a move on him. You loved him then and you still love him now!
Having said her bit, Terese stomps out the bar with the kids following her.
- Terese realising how naive shes been.
- Daniel teasing Imogen that shes got the hots for someone.
We then get a further teaser saying One night will change everything before the credits begin.
