Number 32
Lauren tries to get Matt's version of what he said to Amber but he explains that what he said he'd have said to the boys too. She then reminds him about what Bailey did with Rani and that Mason's done some questionable things too! "It doesn't feel the same," he then comes up with and denies that he is being sexist. Matt seems surprised that she hasn't sided with him and doesn't seem too thrilled when Lauren reminds him of the promise that the kids shouldn't keep secrets and asks that he tries to see things from Amber's perspective.

Thinking that they're back on track, Lauren asks that he behaves at dinner and Matt then brings it up that he asked Amber to cancel it, so Lauren's response is that the roast is off and she's going back to work!

Penthouse suite
"Dad thinks I'm a bad person," Amber tells Daniel and he reassures that her dad won't think that, he's just in shock but promises to be there for her.

Number 24
Paige resumes her sketching of 'Grandma Witch' after a terse phone call to her brother over why she hasn't come clean.

The Waterhole
Terese enquires how Kathy is getting on with the shop opening and is told its on track thanks to Naomi and Paige. With the mentioning of Paige, Terese warns Kathy that she hasn't always found her trustworthy and from the nod that Kathy gives, it looks like they are on the same wavelength. Terese mentions about her stay in Lassiters and how everything was paid cash and she saw no ID. Kathy asks for her opinion on Paige's friendship with Lauren and Terese replies that they seem to like each other a lot. Terese then asks for Kathy's opinions on Paige and she replies that in the beginning she was enthusiastic but admits that now she can't put her finger on it.

Harold's
Kathy is now seeking out what Bailey knows about Paige and his reply is that he thinks she's cool and that she comes from Tassie! Lauren sends her son home (he's clearing up at the store) and quizzes her mum regarding the questions about Paige.

KATHY: I don't know, just a niggling feeling. Can we trust her?
LAUREN: Why, what has she done?
KATHY: Nothing. Terese has got her concerns about her as well.
LAUREN: Terese was wrong.
KATHY: Not just about the finance's. There's something about Paige that doesn't add up.
LAUREN: Whatever you're going to say just stop okay. I've been down that track and I was wrong.
KATHY: What does that mean?

Lauren then tells her mum about accusing Paige of stealing when in reality it turns out she was protecting Bailey. "She was being a real friend," Lauren also adds, which then raises suspicions with her mum but her attitude is that they should be looking after themselves.

Paige then re-enters the store but this time making her arrival prominent since they didn't hear her entering the last time thus was able to hear the whole of the conversation that just took place!

The Waterhole
Brad finishes talking to Paul/Lucy about Daniel and Lucy seems to think that Paul is on the road to recover because he's thinking about his nephew. Paul admits he's going to miss his sister (she's obviously off again) but she confesses that she is nervous about going back too.

Harold's Store
Paige told Lauren to go home as she'll lock up, so the knives come out when Kathy comes to the counter to settle up her bill. Kathy wants to know how much she heard, enough, so then tells it to her straight - she thinks Paige is too involved with Lauren especially over the hunt for Lily.

PAIGE: I like you both, I just want you to sort it out.
KATHY: And I want to believe that, I really do.
PAIGE: But?
KATHY: But I'm hearing other things and I find that worrying.
PAIGE: From Terese?
KATHY: Not just about your finances. Look, you work here and yet you want to get involved in my homewares expansion?
PAIGE: I want to learn from you. Most people would find that very flattering.
KATHY: And is that all there is? I know you don't have a happy family life and I'm really sorry about that but I just get this feeling that you're overstepping the mark and I think you're trying to make up for something that is lagging in your own life. What I'm saying is I think you are too close and I don't think it's good for you.

Kathy's ringing phones stops the conversation but when she goes to answer the phone (it was on the table she was sitting at), Paige goes into her open bag and removes the bottle containing the heart meds Kathy is taking.

The Waterhole
As they finish their meal, Terese suggests to Josh that he approach Kyle for work since he enjoyed covering while he was in Thailand but Josh explains that it was working with Doug that was the appeal and Brad interjects to add that he doesn't think Kyle can afford to take anyone one either.

Meanwhile, Matt is sounding out Toadie/Mark over what he did with Amber and if he played it badly. "Definitely," the boys agree and suggest that he could have been a bit less judgemental and more constructive. Matt replies that Lauren said the same to him too. They then discuss how they'd have played things (if they were in the same situation) and Matt seems the only one to think that he'd have split first rather than cheat and Toadie interjects that surely given how hung up Amber was, surely her happiness comes before anything else? That comment has Matt thinking!

Number 24
When Mark doesn't get stick for admitting he played darts from Paige, he can sense she needs to unload.

PAIGE: My impulsiveness has got the better of me yet again.
MARK: Right...
PAIGE: I do this things, these stupid, stupid things that I regret almost immediately and sometimes I can undo them and sometimes I can't.

Mark asks the obvious question, what did she do and surely "it can't be that bad...or can it?" Without replying, she then debates whether she should go home or not.

MARK: Look, you're a strange one and you're a bit of a slob but I love having you around.

From the smile Paige has on her face, she really appreciated what Mark said but when he goes into his room, she pulls out Kathy's meds and the self-doubt is back again.

Penthouse suite
Daniel mentions to Amber that it's getting late and asks instead to stay the night. He then leads her from the balcony where they've been standing through towards the bedrooms.

The Waterhole
Paul has pulled in a favour and got Ricco out of Lucy's life by an opportunity being created for him in Dubai.

LUCY: That is so manipulative and so sweet and lovely.
PAUL: Yes well as far as problems go, Ricco's small fry.

After seeing how well Paul is getting on with Lucy, Toadie comments to Matt that he's looking better and wonders if they should invite him to play darts. "Your idea, you go!" Matt tells him and tentatively he approaches Paul. Paul appreciates very much the gesture but turns him down.

Kathy enters the bar and decides to bend Matt's ear about Paige while they are both at the bar ordering drinks.

KATHY: It isn't just me is it? Lauren seems so overly attached.
MATT: Maybe but it's never a good idea to come between Lauren and her friends.
KATHY: But Paige, there's something not right with her.
MATT: My advice, before you say anything else to Lauren, make sure you've got facts to back it up.

Number 24 (next day)
Kathy calls round to talk to Paige but Mark informs her that she's out at the shops, and lets her into the house to wait when he said he was on the way out.

Alone in the house, Kathy immediately starts looking for information and begins with Paige's red bag. Looking inside, she finds a photo of a young Paige indicating she went to a school in Adelaide but before she can search more, she hears someone approaching the door so is forced to quickly halt.

Paige is very much surprised at the visitor and Kathy apologises for what happened the previous night. Still somewhat surprised, Amber accepts the apology and takes Kathy up on her offer to have her accompany her to check out a supplier so they can chat in the car. "Don't forget your bag," Kathy reminds her as they leave the house.

Penthouse suite
Daniel is surprised to see Paul up and about as he (and Lucy) enter the suite as he is eating brekkie with Amber. They decide to given Paul/Lucy space and Lucy admits that she wishes she was in love like the pair of them are.

PAUL: And you will.
LUCY: Hey, maybe it will happen for both of us?

Number 32
Amber nervously enters the kitchen and gets the wrath of Lauren for staying away all night without talking to them (she did text to say where she was before switching off her phone).

AMBER: Okay, that's fair.
MATT: But we all make mistakes and kids don't always keep their parents in the loop and sometimes parents can be overly judgemental of their kids. The most important thing for me is that you're happy and if Daniel does that for you then I'm on board.

The pair then hug each other and Amber apologises for letting him down. Matt decides to take his daughter out for coffee and cake but refuses Bailey's plea to get a warrant to intercept his space camp application to remove the photo!

Penthouse suite
Paul sincerely thanks his sister for her visit than asks if she really wants to leave. Lucy admits that she too is feeling much better and agrees to stick around for a few more days to aid her recovery. She heads off to contact her PA regarding changing her travel plans as Karl arrives for a session with Paul. Paul reports back on his progress to the task Karl set him and add that he now realises he's got more friends than he thought plus has convinced Lucy to stick around for a bit too.

PAUL: That's got to be pretty good hasn't it?!

Road outside Grease Monkeys
As they pull into a space outside Grease Monkeys to get coffee, Kathy is trying to get information out from Paige about her life in Tasmania but she's not revealing anything incriminating. Paige heads in to get the coffee and Kathy heads straight for the bag and the sketchbook which has the drawings of everyone and doesn't look too pleased at the one of herself being portrayed as 'Grandma Witch'.

(Later)

Final commercial break later and Paige returns with Kathy's coffee and immediately spots that she's holding her sketchbook.

PAIGE: What's going on?
KATHY: It's you! You're her.

Paige wrestles her sketchbook back as Kathy demands to know why Paige has kept quiet and she repeatedly replies "I wanted to" as Kathy says each person's name. Once Kathy stops saying the names, she then makes it clear why she kept quiet.

PAIGE: I needed to get to know you to find out why you did it.
KATHY: I need to get to Lauren.
PAIGE: You told my mother I had died and gave me away.

As she said that last sentence, Kathy has been getting more agitated and she says that she needs her pills. Paige then confesses that she has them and goes into her bag to retrieve them and apologises continually when Kathy asks why she took them.

Despite being in pain, Kathy starts the car up and drives off just as Toadie is crossing the road having been into Grease Monkey's for a coffee... and she can't help but run into him. The car hits Toadie and his coffee ends up over the windscreen while he falls to the ground.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Paige calling for an ambulance.
- Toadie being wheeled into the hospital.
- Georgia updating Sonya on Toadie's condition.
- Toadie lying on a hospital bet with a collar on.
- Matt finding Kathy's meds in Paige's bag then telling Karl about them.
- Lauren confused!
- Karl confused over the name on Paige's Medicare card.
- Karl informing Matt that Paige is discharging herself.
- Matt wanting the answer to a question from Paige.
