Erinsborough High
Imogen speaks to Susan, claiming she'd like to report a teacher for inappropriate behaviour.

Cut to Susan quizzing Gem and Bailey alternately, to explain why they were seen holding hands. Gem says that's crazy, and denies it - and they each lie about where they had lunch. Susan asks Bailey if Gem's ever been physical with him in any way, and he denies it - as does Gem, insisting she hasn't encouraged his crush on her. As Susan continues to probe, Bailey feels uncomfortable and asks if they can end the conversation. Susan decides procedure must be followed; she wants Gem to stop tutoring Bailey immediately, and has to talk to Lauren and Matt about the allegations.

Lauren is reading a book about recurring dreams, which she puts in her bag when Matt comes in. He's concerned that she's going into work so early, as she was up half the night - and he asks her if anything's on her mind. Lauren makes excuses but insists she'll be fine.

Harold's Store
Lauren tells Sonya that she's still having dreams about dancing with Brad, and that she's been reading up on techniques to make the dreams go away. Sonya thinks she should perhaps tell Matt, but Lauren doesn't look pleased at that idea. Sonya tells her that if she really doesn't have feelings for Brad, she should stop beating herself up. Lauren smiles.

Toadie and Callum come in with Nell, and join Sonya at a table. Toadie is excited that Callum has been picked to go to China on the exchange, but Cal's in a bad mood. He explains he's worried about his Valiant Sword, a virtual trinket from Dragon Prophesies, which Josie has borrowed and not given back. Now she's ignoring his texts and calls.

TOADIE: So this is a Josie thing!
CALLUM: No! That sword cost me 50,000 cubits, which is a lot in Draconia.

Sonya suggests that Cal should go round and talk to Josie, but he claims she's not worth it.

Erinsborough High Radio
The teens are setting up the radio station in preparation for the school dance. Imogen is telling Amber about having seen Gem and Bailey holding hands, but Amber thinks it's hilarious and that Imogen must be mistaken. Josh arrives and Amber turns cold - Imogen leaves them to it. Amber quickly lays into Josh, telling him he's so self- obsessed he's embarrassing.

JOSH: Embarrassing would be you dressing up in a meter maid outfit.

Unsurprisingly, this doesn't quell Amber's ire. But Josh insists he wants to make things better, and suggests he take her to the dance. But he doesn't sell it well enough, and Amber stomps off, saying he'll have to try a lot harder if he wants to win her round.

Erinsborough High
Bailey and Gem talk in the classroom, revealing they both lied to Susan. Bailey explains it was Imogen who saw them at the lake, as Amber has texted him about it.

BAILEY: Susan said you couldn't tutor me anymore. I'll never get to see you.
GEM: No, we'll sort something out. Don't worry - I'll handle it.
BAILEY: I just - I'm sorry I got you into trouble.
GEM: No, it's not your fault. Imogen's like the rest of the girls - she's just jealous.

As he leaves to go home, Gem tells Bailey to be careful, then emerges from the classroom herself. She sees Kate pinning things to the noticeboard outside Susan's office, and waits until she's gone, before ducking inside. In the office, she heads straight for the filing cabinet and retrieves Imogen's file - quickly reading up on Susan's involvement in Imogen's eating disorder. But as she's leaving, Kate bursts in with some papers, and wonders what Gem's doing in there. Gem claims she was leaving some reports for Susan, but as she leaves, Kate looks suspicious.

Lassiter's Lake
Lauren is emptying the bin when she sees Brad and Terese on a bench, being romantic - and interrupts their intimate moment by making a lot of noise with the bin. Mildly embarrassed, Terese explains she and Brad were having some time to themselves, as they've been so busy of late - Lauren says she and Matt are also 'like ships in the night' sometimes. Terese thinks the four of them should go and see a band sometime soon, and have a dance! But Lauren informs them that Matt doesn't dance, and that it wouldn't be a good idea.

Once Brad and Terese have kissed each other goodbye and left, Lauren gets a call from Matt - he asks if she's spoken to Susan today...

Lassiter's Complex
Brad meets up with Josh, who is moaning about Amber calling him self- obsessed. Brad tells Josh he can be self- centred sometimes, and that he needs to show Amber he cares about her, and make her feel really special.

Meanwhile, Callum fills Toadie (and Nell) in on the latest news on his Valiant Sword. Josie has given it back, but Cal doesn't look happy.

TOADIE: Isn't that what you wanted?
CALLUM: No, 'cause she's just dumped it in my armoury. No phone call, no email, no scroll message - nothing. She's unbelievable.

Toadie quickly gathers that it's not the virtual sword Cal cares about, but the fact that Josie isn't talking to him.

TOADIE: You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach? You know, like something's missing? That's how I feel about your mum when she's not around.
CALLUM: Dad, can you not gross me out?

Toadie says there's nothing to be ashamed of in having feelings for someone. He adds that Josie's keeping her distance because she likes him and she's hurting, and advises Cal to call her and tell her he misses her. But Cal thinks it's too late - he's already blown his chances with Josie by constantly trying to flirt with Imogen in front of her.

Harold's Store
Susan has been telling Lauren about the allegations regarding Gem and Bailey, when Amber comes in. Susan asks her if she'd consider being the official photographer for the school dance after her wedding photo success, and Amber jumps at the opportunity.

Susan briefly chats to Kate at a table, just as Gem is coming through the door. They're talking about the dance, but Gem assumes they're talking about her - and asks Susan if that's the case as she's about to leave. Susan insists no- one's talking about Gem. She says she's asked the person who made the allegation to keep it to themselves, and that Gem needs to keep a level head and stay professional, as it's the only way she'll get through this.

Lassiter's Complex
Imogen's putting up posters outside when Gem confronts her, accusing her of spreading lies.

IMOGEN: I know what I saw, and I know it's wrong.
GEM: Hey. You don't know me, or what I'm capable of. If you don't back off, you're about to find out.
IMOGEN: Threats. Classy.
GEM (mimics): Classy! Like your eating disorder?
IMOGEN: ...
GEM: Yeah, Imogen. I know your little secret. You want me to tell the entire school? Didn't think so. So you'd better behave from now on. Unless you want me to start telling tales.

Imogen looks distraught as Gem walks away.

Ramsay Street
Amber arrives home to find Josh waiting in the driveway, looking rather dashing in his dance suit. He says he's hired a limo and a stylist, and bought her a 'pamper package', in preparation for the school dance - telling her he wants her to feel special. Amber says she'll think about going to the dance with him, and keeps walking. Realising there's no other way around it, Josh finally says he's sorry - he was wrong, and he's self- obsessed.

AMBER: Sorry, what was that?
JOSH: I'm self- obsessed.
AMBER: Hmm. Well, in that case I will definitely come with you.
JOSH: Awesome.
AMBER: On one condition. Cancel the limo, and all that stuff.
JOSH: Why? I want to spoil you.
AMBER: You don't need to buy me back. I just needed to know that I was important to you.

Amber adds that she's the official dance photographer, and Josh is pleased for her. They kiss.

Harold's Store
Matt and Lauren are quizzing Bailey about Gem, telling him that if a teacher was being inappropriate with him, he could tell them. But Bailey swears that nothing's happened, and they seem to believe him - deciding that whoever saw them together probably got the wrong idea, and that Bailey just has a crush. They agree to keep an eye on him, though; and Matt suggests Lauren go home for some sleep while he minds the store, as she has to work again later at the dance. She agrees.

Imogen orders half a dozen cupcakes from Margie, and Sonya overhears - but when she makes an innocuous comment, Imogen responds harshly and insists the cakes are for a committee meeting. She runs out of the store, and Sonya follows, apologising.

Lassiter's Complex
Imogen apologises to Sonya for being an idiot, saying she's having a really bad day. She suddenly gets tearful.

IMOGEN: Everything's falling apart. I'm trying to do the right thing, and now I'm being threatened.
SONYA: Threatened how?
IMOGEN: Someone found out this thing about me. Something I really don't want anyone to know. Now she says she's going to tell people, and I know she will, and I don't know what to do.
SONYA: It's okay, it's okay. I mean - I know what you're going through.
IMOGEN: You do?
SONYA: Yeah. I know what it's like to have a secret. It's like a - well, it's like this dark cloud - it just follows you around everywhere. And sometimes it's so high above your head, that you can forget about it. But it just never disappears. It only - well, it only disappears the day it stops being a secret.
IMOGEN: I have this problem.
SONYA: You don't have to tell me anything, sweetheart.
IMOGEN: No, I want to. I have an eating disorder.
SONYA: That was a really brave thing for you to admit. I'm very proud of you.

Sonya hugs Imogen.

SONYA: You know, this is how you get rid of the cloud. That's how you get your power back from the other person. You tell people your secret.

Erinsborough High School
Kate is presiding over a student council meeting, where Amber is discussing her ideas for the photography at the dance. Gem is also in attendance. Imogen arrives with Sonya behind her, who explains she's here for moral support. Gem watches worriedly as Imogen tells her fellow pupils that she has something she needs to get out in the open: she has bulimia. Gem gives her an evil stare.

Ramsay Street
Lauren sees Brad getting out of his car and looks sad and worried, before continuing into the house.

No 32
Lauren lies on the sofa for a nap, and the dream begins again. She and Brad are dancing as before - only this time there's the sound of a baby crying. Lauren looks over to see a pram shrouded in shadow. She wakes up gasping.

- Josie's upset when she sees Cal dancing with Imogen - but later Cal and Josie kiss
- Susan lays into Karl for electioneering with her students
