Previously on Neighbours

- Robbo surprised to see Lucas arrive for a card game.
- Lou denying that he's into Sheila.
- Bailey fessing up to impersonating Sheila and being told to clean it up.
- Robbo showing Mason what he has on his phone.
- Paul/Mason discussing how to handle Robbo.
Road outside Grease Monkeys
Mason runs into Robbo just as he exits Grease Monkeys. Robbo informs Mason he has two days to pay him what's due as he plans on spending it after the court case is finished (and gloats too that his lawyer reckons he will get off with it) and leaves the threat in the air that when he gets bored through not having money to spend he likes to post things online...
Hospital
Sonya and Sheila are visiting Vanessa when Lucas finally arrives - Vanessa is annoyed that she couldn't get hold of him. Lucas avoids telling where he really was, instead saying he got held up at work and he isn't pleased to hear that she plans on discharging herself early. Due to the visitors, they can't really discuss it fully and instead he leaves to go get teas for everyone. Sensing that something is up, Sonya follows Lucas out of the room but is bluntly told to leave him alone!
Number 32 (next day)
Over breakfast, Lou admits to Bailey that he's not keen on heading round to #26 to tell Sheila that he doesn't share the same feelings for her that she has for him remarking that you'd think he'd be used to doing that by now! Bailey quickly says that he thinks Lou doesn't need to as Sheila is sworn off men after what happened with Walter when he was away. Lou is more than happy not to have that conversation as he plans on taking his grandson's advice and not saying anything.
Lassiters hotel
Mason comes looking for Paul to beg him for a loan to pay Robbo off. Paul pulls him aside to let him in on what he has planned for Robbo (he's hired an associate who is going to follow Robbo waiting until he slips up before they then pounce). "You're not getting it," Mason cries as Robbo is smart and that they have 2 days to act before Amber's life is over. That seems to get movement out of Paul who will have a word with his guy but again refuses to lend Mason the money and gives him a pep talk based on his past experiences. Mason doesn't like Paul's plan and plans on getting the money somehow.
Charlie's
Paul is after an update on Robbo but there is nothing new to tell partially as Marty can't get a foot in to the card games. He suggests using one of the regulars Marty has seen visiting the PirateNet studios and to use that as his way in but that it needs to happen quickly!
PAUL: I don't care what you have to do or what it takes but I want Robert Slade gone. Is that understood?
MARTY: Loud and clear.
Lassiters Complex
Imogen spots Amber leaving the store and tentatively approaches her on the pretext of giving her a heads up about their English assignment. As they keep talking, the pair of them bond over wanting bad karma for Robbo and ultimately end up (figuratively speaking) kissing and making up. Imogen seems very relieved to have her friend back again.
Eden University
Georgia is setting the display up when Robbo comes calling. She recognises him and refuses to let him help her set up but he grabs the flyers and refuses to hand them back, informing her that he will drop one off "to all the right people."
Lassiters Complex
Toadie and Sonya aren't please to see Robbo handing out flyers especially to them. Robbo thinks he has a legitimate right to be there and when he makes a comment about Toadie's photo, Toad tells him that he's just there to intimidate his wife and has 10 seconds to leave. The 10 seconds come and Robbo has made no attempt to leave voluntarily so Toadie picks him up by the lapels to encourage him to leave!
TOADIE: I swear if you know what's good for you, you will stay away from us.
ROBBO: Is that a threat huh?
TOADIE: Yes, it's a threat.
Robbo decides to leave but not before giving him one of his subtle warnings, for Toadie to beware as he's "shaking in his boots."
Number 30
Sonya and Toadie arrive home and she isn't too pleased at him having a go at Robbo as it might convince the court that he's right. Georgia arrives home after being unable to contact Toadie to warn him and to say that it was Robbo who took the flyers, giving her no choice but to let him leave with them. "I knew he was going to cause trouble," she says before apologising for that fact. Sonya reassures her that it's okay and that she should get back to organising the display and she leaves to do just that.
"It's like Troy all over again," Sonya remarks to Toadie and he's at a loss over what to do now and admits that he doesn't know if he can last the 2 days until the court case begins.
TOADIE: It's like I can't even keep you safe. It doesn't matter what I do, whenever we turn around there he is.
She reassures him that she is safe and that he's just full of talk but the looks on both their faces show they are worried.
Harold's Store
Amber does her best to cheer up Mason when she observes he's rather despondent. She then sees that Robbo has sent Mason a text and he downplays the significance of it and instead suggests that they plan a party for next week to celebrate not seeing Robbo for a long time! This has her sold and he reads the message when Amber goes back to work - The link goes live in 48 hours.
Road outside Grease Monkeys
Robbo spots Imogen leaving Grease Monkeys and tries to tempt her into doing something with him but she knows who he is and doesn't want anything to do with him. That isn't stopping Robbo though and he continues to harass her and its Josh who steps in to rescue his sister. Robbo now goads him with how bad Amber wanted him and as Josh goes to stand up to him, its Imogen who pulls her brother away, saying that he's not worth it.
JOSH: You're going to get what's coming to you.
ROBBO: (cocky) We'll see!
"Call me," is Robbo's parting words and Josh tells his sister that he's going to "mess that guy up," and is told "not to be stupid," by his sister.
Hospital
Lucas arrives to find Vanessa packing as he is planning on discharging herself as she said last night. He orders her back to bed adding that he will sort the money out. "How?" she asks but is only told that she has to leave it to him as she needs to concentrate on getting better.
Garage
Lucas is working away on a car when Marty drops by. He says that he recognises Lucas and mentions Robbo's card games and is after a way into one via Lucas. "Good luck with that," is all Lucas says on the subject forcing Marty to walk away.
Lassiters Complex
Sonya runs into Lucas and apologises for what she said last night at the hospital adding that they missed him at the GA meeting. She tries to get him to open up to her about his money woes but he makes it clear that he'd rather deal with it himself. Sonya then admits she's seriously considering lying in court to protect her family, to show him that it's not just him that has things to deal with.
Charlie's
Lou is in chatting with Sheila about his trip to see Mai Ling. He remarks on the similarities between them - her helping in her community in Cambodia/Sheila in Erinsborough. She is a bit bemused and asks if he's spoken to Bailey (he has) however because Bailey didn't have the same conversation with each of them, they aren't seeing things the way they should despite inadvertently agreeing a 'peace treaty' with each other!
Robbo spots Lucas having a quiet beer and goes over to tell him about a card game tomorrow night at 7.30. Lucas makes it clear he isn't interested but Robbo thinks he will be there.
Number 32
Mason is getting very desperate for cash and is trying to get some from Chris. He refuses to without knowing what it's for, so Mason is a bit economical with the truth, saying it's to protect Amber. "From what?" Chris asks but before he can reply, an angry Josh arrives to tell Mason to "keep his creepy mate away from my sister." Mason is perplexed over what Josh is saying and Chris pipes up to ask if that is why he's after cash. "No," is his instinctive reply but Chris doesn't believe him and eventually Mason admits that Robbo is blackmailing him and that is why he needs the cash. He asks for them both to promise him not to tell anyone before he will say anything. After a tentative nod/look, Mason tells them,
MASON: Amber's in trouble.
Final commercial break later and Mason has obviously filled Josh/Chris in fully and both think that Amber should know. "I can't tell her, she'll be humiliated," Mason pleads but both agree that she's going to find out eventually anyway! Mason doesn't think so if he can get the money. "Are you really that stupid?!" Josh asks as he thinks Robbo won't delete the file after Mason hands over the cash.
MASON: I don't have another choice, I have to believe that.
Chris thinks they should go to the police, or at least tell Matt but Mason thinks that will just result in him wanting to throttle Robbo! "Yes, good point," concedes Chris.
Mason asks either that they help him or leave and both agree to help.
