Number 26 Back Yard
Kyle is sweeping away the leaves and other debris from the storm, while Chris is blankly staring into space. Kyle assumes that Chris's date was a bust, but Chris says he and Hudson hit it off. He asks Kyle how the movie night went, Kyle says it was fine until he was left alone with Kate during the blackout. He convinced Kate that to tell Mason that she slept with Brennan and not him. Kyle says he hopes that Mason will be able to move on once he knows. Chris says they should all be honest and leave him out of this.
Brad arrives home with the post, not happy about having to look for work and feeling bad about not being able to contribute to the family. Terese tells him not to worry. Brad receives Don's bill in the post. He thinks it's terrible that he's paying for Don to do a job that he's able to do for free. Brad thinks that Josh is wasting his time on the middle distance swimming, he's a sprinter. Terese tells him there's nothing they can do but support Josh.
While having breakfast Callum asks Walter what Sonya was like as a baby, and they tease Sonya about it. Walter says she and Jade were good kids, which was why he wanted to adopt them. Callum's surprised that he hadn't heard about this. Walter says there was a paperwork mix up and then it was too late. Callum thinks it would have changed her whole life, she may not even have had him, but Sonya says things have worked out for the best.
Toadie and Sonya go to the kitchen. Sonya says she realises how important family is, and wishes she stayed in touch with Aunt Robyn. Last time she saw her, Sonya was in a bad way. Toadie convinces her to call Robyn.
Callum is throwing pebbles into the lake when Bailey approaches nervously. Callum gives him some pebbles to throw too. Callum notices a group of girls behind them and tells Bailey that Josie is staring at him.
BAILEY: Yeah she's had it in for me since you stapled her sleeve to the desk and blamed me.
CALLUM: What? No, not nerdy Josie, hot Josie, from Maths
BAILEY: Oh she's probably looking at you.
CALLUM: Yeah? (He strokes his hair back while looking at her) No... nah, I don't think she's into funny guys.
BAILEY: I'm funny
CALLUM: No. I'm the funny one.
Josie and her friends come over and asks what they're up to, inviting them to join them at Harold's. Bailey knocks her back. As the girls walk away, Callum calls him an idiot for knocking her back. Callum runs after Josie and tells her that he has to do something for his mum, which means Bailey is free to go with them. He pushes Bailey to join them and they head to Harold's.
Josie is talking to the group, while Bailey looks bored. She tells him that she knows how to play chess, well checkers, but she wants to learn and hopes he could teach her. She tells him it'll be fine as she's way smarter than she looks. Just then Rani enters, and Bailey catches her eye. Josie runs up to speak to Rani, asking for advice on how to get Bailey to like her, assuming he's into ‘nerdy stuff.' Rani says he likes Science, reading, and really liked the eclipse a few weeks ago. Rani gets nervous and leaves. Josie comments that she didn't even buy anything! Josie sits back down with Bailey and her friends.
Callum is sitting on a bench outside when Rani walks past. He invites her to sit down with him. She tells him that Bailey was with hot Josie, and wonders if Callum knew she liked him. Callum says it's probably nothing. He suggests they go to the movies to block it out from her mind, Rani says thanks but she needs to go.
Callum slams the door as he enters. Callum tells Toadie that Bailey got a date with Josie, and then leaves to go to his room, while Toadie is baffled by why this is bad news. Sonya comes out and tells Toadie that she spoke to Robyn on the phone. It was good to reconnect with her, but she said some odd things about Walter, he's been lying to them.
Sonya is rocking Nell backwards and forwards in her pram when Walter comes up to them. Sonya tells him that she spoke to Robyn, her mum's sister, and she said something strange about him. She said he had a drinking problem. Walter says he used to have a taste for it, but that was ages ago. Sonya says he brought a bottle of wine to Sheila's bite club, and she saw him drinking a glass. He says he only did it to be polite, but promises he's not drinking anymore. Sonya says that he also didn't try for custody of her and Jade. Walter admits he didn't, he wanted to but he didn't have a shot. He says that's what spurred him on to quit drinking.
SONYA: Why didn't you just tell me you were an alcoholic when I told you about my problems?
WALTER: Look I'm sorry I didn't open up to you but sometimes I just tell people what they want to hear, call that a flaw, but I just like people to be happy. I hope you don't think any of the less of me.
Sonya: No of course not, I'm just glad we can chat about it.
Chris introduces himself to Brad, and sits down with him at a table. He knows he used to be Josh's swim coach, and wants to ask him about that. He's been talking to a swimmer recently and he wanted Brad's advice. Chris tells him that the swimmer's been doing well, but an up and comer in the same event was convinced to change events by the coach to get him out of the way. Brad says that dodgy coaches will sometimes do this. Chris says his friend's name is Hudson Walsh, Josh's training partner, and Josh is the one being screwed over. Brad asks Chris more about it.
Josh is watching a film of his laps at home when Brad enters. He asks how the middle distance is going. Josh says he knows it's been hard for Brad, but he's still his dad and Don's a good guy, just give him a chance. Brad thinks that Don isn't giving him the best shot at being a champion, but says he's willing to give Don a chance.
Callum and Toadie approach Bailey who's on his own. Josie's gone to netball practice (though I'm sure I heard nipple practice.) Bailey says that Josie isn't his type, and the next time he tries to play cupid, don't. Bailey storms off. Toadie realises that Callum encouraged Bailey to get together with Josie to keep him from being with Rani. Toadie tells Callum if Bailey and Rani really like each other, and the only thing keeping them apart is him, maybe it's time to step aside.
Josie joins Bailey outside, she faked an injury to get out of practice early as she wanted to hang out with him. Bailey gets a text from Callum asking to meet at the rotunda. Bailey leaves Josie who looks disappointed.
Callum sends Rani a text, telling her to meet at the rotunda.
Rotunda beside Lassiters Lake
Bailey gets to the rotunda and finds a script for ‘To Agra with Love' with a post- it note on it. Rani arrives and they say they're waiting for Callum. They realise Callum's set them up, and read the note which says ‘Guess this is the way it's meant to be signed Cupid.' Rani says the play that they've got is the original version, where Rani ends up with Raj. Happy they can be together, they kiss.
Callum sits alone, looking at his watch. He takes out a flyer for ‘To Agra With Love' from his bag, and puts it in the bin. Toadie comes over and hugs him.
Number 22 Back Yard
Brad sits down for a beer with Don, saying he wanted a chance to get to know him. He asks Don about Hudson, and if it works in Hudson's favour now that Josh has changed events. Don says it isn't about that. He wants what's in Josh's best interest, Brad does too. They toast to Josh.
Number 26 Back Yard
Brad thanks Chris for the heads up about Don. He hasn't said anything to Josh yet, and he doesn't want to cause trouble for Chris and Hudson. Don does a good job of seeming ‘on the level' but Brad doesn't trust him for a second. Brad says Josh would never forgive him if he fought Don without any proof. Brad will be watching Don like a hawk, if he does anything to hurt Josh, he'll be sorry.
Number 30 (Night Time)

Walter is ordering a drink at the bar, when a man, Gary, walks in and recognises him, hugging Walter and calling him Dave. Gary invites ‘Dave' for a bite to eat. Walter suggests they go out into town.
Sonya promises to help Walter through his addiction. He's family.
