Hospital
Kyle is sitting in a corridor, staring blankly into space. He is joined by an equally stunned Georgia. She tells him that [Rhys] had a massive blood clot which stopped the blood flow to his lungs. Kyle wonders how he's going to tell Elaine. Georgia offers to do it, but Kyle says it should come from someone who knew Rhys. He realises he also needs to tell Vanessa. He sighs heavily and leaves.

Lassiters
Matt is interviewing Vanessa outside the hotel. She tells him how Sonya got a phone call and went round the side of the hotel because of the bad reception, before returning to say there'd been a robbery. Matt asks if she saw anything, but she says she didn't. While she is talking, Kyle approaches them and asks if he can talk to Vanessa. Matt says he's finished and leaves.

By Lassiters lake
Over some music, Kyle and Vanessa sit on a bench, and he talks to her.

Charlie's
Kyle tells Sheila that Vanessa went into shock - he didn't know what to say. Andrew comes over with their drinks and offers his condolences. Sheila asks about Priya. Andrew says she's had surgery, and Kyle says there were complications. Mason overhears and asks about Sonya. Kyle says there's no change. Paul saunters in, and makes a comment to Andrew about the staff having a break. Sheila tells him that people show their grief in different ways. Andrew apologises to Sheila and goes over to Paul, who tells him that he shouldn't let the staff slack off, even if it is quiet. Andrew points out that Sheila lives with Rhys. Paul says he is dealing with the collateral damage, but Andrew says he should go and see Priya. Paul looks pensive.

Hospital - Sonya's room
Karl comes in and is surprised to find Susan sitting with Sonya. She tells him that she persuaded Toadie to go home to be with Callum. Susan asks how Sonya is doing, and without a thought for patient confidentiality, Karl says she's doing well, apart from the swelling on her brain. Karl tells Sonya she needs lots of rest.

Hospital - reception area
Meanwhile, Paul arrives in the reception area and looks into Priya's room where Rani is sitting, holding her mother's hand. Ajay walks up behind him and asks why he's there. Paul says he wants to know how she is. Ajay says she's just out of surgery and it's family only. Paul wants to know if she's going to be OK, but Ajay tells him to respect Priya's wishes to have nothing more to do with her. Ajay goes into her room, leaving an upset looking Paul outside.

Elsewhere, Susan is commiserating with Karl over Rhys's death. She tells him to go home as he must be exhausted. He says he has to stay, adding that Priya is in a bad way. Her brain was deprived of oxygen for a long time. She asks if Ajay knows. Karl says no - they're still running tests.

KARL: There's a possibility she won't wake up.

Susan looks at him horrified, and he nods in confirmation.

No 32
Mason runs into the kitchen and stuffs some clothes (presumably the ones from the robbery) into the bin. Amber calls out to him, and he swiftly picks up the balaclava he dropped and sticks it behind a cushion. She wants to know if he's seen Robbo, and he asks why he would have. She thinks he's acting weird, but he says it's been full on. She's worried about Robbo. Mason says she's better off without him. She is upset, then Mason says Robbo has left.

MASON: Gone, out of town, away, gone.

She tells him that Robbo was trying to turn his life around and buying the van was the first step. Mason says it was stolen. He says he'll prove it, and pushes her out...

Somewhere
Amber sees the van, and tells Mason that Robbo is still around, but Mason shows her the keys in the ignition. She picks up a photo of her and Robbo that he'd left and tells Mason that Robbo loved her. He finds QLD licence plates in the back and says it proves Robbo stole the van up north: Robbo taught him always to change the plates. Amber is upset and marches off.

Charlie's
Chris, Kyle and Sheila are sitting at a table.

CHRIS: We were eating breakfast just this morning.
SHEILA: I cooked him scrambled eggs and bacon. He gave me a hard time about making him fat.

She sniffles. At the bar, Tash comments that she can't believe Paul wants them to do stock- taking. Andrew says it's so he (Paul) doesn't have to think about Priya. Tash points out that other people have feelings even if Paul doesn't. Andrew says Paul just doesn't know how to express feelings.

TASH: Normally I'd overlook that, but someone is dead, and Priya and Sonya could die too.

She adds they shouldn't have to pretend everything's normal for Paul's sake.

Kyle suggests to Chris that they should go home. Tash comes over and tells Sheila to go home as well, which she does.

No 32
Mason picks up the balaclava from behind the cushion and gets the other stuff from the bin. Matt walks in, and Mason tries to look casual. He tells his dad he's taking out the rubbish, but his dad calls him back to talk about the wedding. Mason explains he was taking glasses to the kitchen at the time of the explosion. Then Matt asks about the attempted robbery. Mason asks what happened, and Matt says some idiots tried to rob reception.

MATT: I thought you would have heard about it.
MASON: No. Why would I have heard about it?
MATT: You were just in the area, that's all.
MASON: Are you saying that because I was in the area, you think I did it?

Matt says he doesn't think that at all, because he knows Mason's been trying. After all, he's even taking out the rubbish! He again offers to help, but Mason jumps back out of the way. Matt looks puzzled.

Hospital - reception area
Vanessa tells Lucas that she can't stop thinking about his [Rhys's] mum. They were really close. Lucas suggests that Vanessa could go and see her, but Vanessa's not sure. As Vanessa leaves, Georgia is walking by, and Lucas asks her how Sonya is. Georgia says she's not responding to stimuli. The longer it goes on, the more chance of complications. Mason arrives with a bunch of flowers for Sonya, and Georgia promises to take it in. He asks when Sonya will wake up, and Georgia says they don't know.

Hospital - Priya's room
Rani is sitting by Priya's bed and Susan comes in, and offers to stay with Priya while Rani gets some fresh air or something to eat. Rani says she can't leave. Rani asks if she's going to be OK.

RANI: She looks OK. I mean, she's breathing.
SUSAN: I wish I could say, sweetheart.
RANI: She has to wake up. She *has* to.

Susan strokes Rani's hair, as the ventilator continues to hiss.

No 32
Amber is looking at the photo of her and Robbo. Matt comes in. She says she's been thinking about what happened.

AMBER: Losing someone you love must be the worst feeling in the world.

As she says it, she looks at the picture of Robbo. Matt says they need a special family dinner to cheer themselves up, and he puts her on potato peeling duty.

Hospital - reception area
Vanessa arrives back from seeing Elaine, and Lucas says that Patrick has put on 100g. She tells him that Elaine was shattered, but she's being very brave. She had offered to help Elaine with the funeral, if he doesn't mind. He says that Rhys was a part of her life, so it's only right she should help. She says that he has been incredible though everything, and she loves him. She apologises for not telling him before, and she couldn't have picked a worse time. He says they've got an amazing child and each other, and they kiss and hug.

Hospital - Karl's office
Karl shows Ajay and Rani into his office. He tells them that the news about Priya isn't good: she suffered cerebral hypoxia. Rani asks what that is. Karl says it means the brain is starved of oxygen, and she isn't going to wake up. Ajay is distraught.

RANI: She's lying in that room. She's breathing; she's fine.
KARL: The machine is breathing for her. The brain is not functioning.

Ajay tells Karl there must be more tests, but Karl says they've done two which confirm the damage is irreversible. Rani won't believe it, and says Karl is lying, but Ajay tells her that Karl is right.

Hospital - Priya's room
Rani sits by Priya's bedside. She apologises to Priya for the way she's behaved over the last few months.

RANI: I love you, and I am going to miss you so, so much.

She gets up and hugs her father. Then he sits down. He tells her how much she means to him, begs her to wake up, says he doesn't want her to go, and he'll take care of Rani.

AJAY: Goodbye my beautiful Pri.

He and Rani hug.

Hospital - Sonya's room
Interspersed with images of the countryside, a church and flowers, Sonya is lying in her hospital bed.

Five days later
Hospital - Sonya's room
Sonya is still lying in bed as Georgia comes in with more flowers. There's a change in the monitor beeping, and she goes over and shines a light in Sonya's eyes. Karl comes in and Georgia tells him she thinks Sonya is awake. He tells Sonya she's been unconscious for five days. Sonya asks about the pain, and he says she fractured her skull when she fell.

SONYA: Where was I?
KARL: At the reception. But luckily you were outside the marquee.
SONYA: Reception?
GEORGIA: Yeah, at the wedding.
SONYA: What wedding?

Georgia and Karl are incredulous.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Toadie visits Sonya. Lou tells Mason that Sonya can't remember her wedding day. Mason wants to know if it's the whole day. Sonya remembers something.
- Eddie Lawson turns up at Charlie's not knowing about Rhys. Kyle goes to meet him
- Scotty asks Georgia to elope. Chris tells Kyle they have to tell Georgia about Scotty. Kyle goes to tell Georgia something.
