While the titles themselves have not changed, the vocals have as today sees the first finalist in the Neighbours Remixed competition.
Previously on Neighbours
- Angie returning and accusing Sonya of taking drugs.
- Sonya ordering Angie out of the house.
- Someone breaking into #32.
- Bailey trying to warn Mason about Robbo.
- Mason warning Robbo that Matt won't be happy to find out that he's in town.
- Mason spotting Amber/Robbo pashing.
Mason and Bailey discuss him spotting Amber with Robbo and how they are going to deal with it. They then think she has returned but its Lauren who is on a break from work. Moments later, Amber does turn up and lies to her mum about how her tutoring session went. Lauren leaves the kitchen and Mason confronts his sister over what he saw. Amber apologies and explains that Robbo wanted until he had somewhere to live before they told people. He tries to warn his sister off about Robbo but Lauren's return curtails the chat.
Angie is back and makes a sincere apology to Sonya when Toadie takes her bags to her room. Sonya explains that it helped clear the air for her too. With the air cleared, they now start talking weddings and Angie isn't pleased to hear that it appears a) Sonya is wearing a second hand dress and b) that Toadie has seen the dress but shuts up (for now!) when Sonya says they are having a superstition free day!
Lauren can sense the strained atmosphere with her kids but they are sticking to the story of Amber taking off with Mason's phone and she leaves them too it when she heads off back to work.
With the coast clear, Mason tells his sister that Robbo was the one behind the robbery that he got sent down for. As they tell the story she finds out that Bailey was involved in it too (he came to get his brother in Lauren's car) but they kept his role in it quiet from both her and Lauren. She is upset to find out about being kept in the dark and Bailey says that is because their dad bent the rules. They then add that Robbo hid the money from the robbery in Lauren's car and why he's back now to collect his share of it. Amber confirms she gave Robbo their address and Bailey is now 100% sure it was Robbo who broke in (the credits for that episode confirm this too). She is unimpressed at their suggestions that he's only here for the money and not her, telling them that he loves her.
Lauren confirms that she is still up for babysitting Nell after the wedding when Sonya enters the store.
Sonya then meets up with Susan and confirms that yes, Angie is back in town and they've sorted things out. She also talks to her about something that came up in her chat with Angie (about not having a mum) and how it's got her thinking.
Amber comes in and subtly asks her mum if people can change (talking about Mason) and she replies that yes, people can make fresh starts.
Sonya rejects Lucas' offer of walking her down the aisle (another thing Angie isn't pleased to discover!) despite Angie trying to get her to accept it.
Lauren drops by to chat to Sonya about Nell but when Angie starts putting her tuppenceworth in, she beats a hasty retreat along with Lucas, promising to come back later.
Karl arrives and Susan tells him about her chat with Sonya and wants to do something that shows to her that she can think of them as being family took. Thankfully Susan vetoes him adding it into his song and she thinks instead about the something old, something blue tradition.
KARL: As long as we're not raiding the blue box!
What Susan gives Sonya is a beautiful pearl necklace that belonged to her mother. After the exchange of hugs, Karl too volunteers to walk her down the aisle, and like Lucas she politely rejects his offer.
Seconds after sending a text to Amber, Robbo receives an unwanted visitor – Mason ‘strongly urging' him to stay away from his family! He also confronts him about the robbery and asks if he went with Amber just so he could keep an eye on his share of the money. His reply of “I'm just having a bit of fun with your sister,” doesn't go down well with Mason as you can imagine! Robbo agrees to leave if he gets his share of the money but adds in also that he could always dob his dad in for covering up Bailey's role. Mason reiterates that he has a plan to get him his money.
Mason returns home and tells Bailey about his meeting with Robbo and he isn't going to leave until he gets his share of the money and that he is planning on dobbing Matt in for keeping quiet about Bailey's role in the burglary. Bailey replies that he will help in getting the money together and they both wonder if Amber's gone to see Robbo to confirm the story.
Robbo confirms to Amber that yes he was involved but denies setting Mason up. Amber is not impressed or amused at what he's done, especially since he claims to have done it for ‘them'. She wants to know why he didn't turn himself in and he's got to think about it before replying that he “was afraid” especially as he would have been sent to jail (given his prior criminal record). Robbo denies being the one who broke into #32 and sees what has happened as ‘an epiphany moment'.
ROBBO: I need you to believe in me. Think you can do that?
She nods yes and as he pulls her in for a hug, you can clearly see the relief in his face.
Sonya decides to celebrate her last night as a single woman having a meal with her beautiful son Callum. This then leads her onto interrogating, sorry asking Cal if he's going to hook up with Rani at the wedding. Cal is aghast she's asking questions like that but eventually opens up to say he would like it to happen.
Sonya than receives her third offer of walking her down the aisle from Cal and while the others failed, this time she gets very emotional and accepts his offer although I think Cal would rather she thanked him in private given she rushed to hug/kiss him!
Robbo turns up to meet Mason, surprised to hear from him so soon. He has an idea on how Mason can pay him back – he's seen some places that they can rob beginning with Lassiters and that they can do the job during the wedding reception tomorrow!
ROBBO: Are you in or out?
MASON: You'll leave town once you get the cash?
ROBBO: I'll be gone.
MASON: Alright I'm in.
Sonya arrives home to hear the bad news that Connor can't manage tomorrow because he has the measles. Sonya suggests Lucas after ruling out his initial thought (Cal) and seconds later she is after a bridesmaid too because Jade is snow- bound in Seattle!
