Erinsborough Hospital Exterior
Aidan meets Tash outside. She asks him what it means if someone collapses and has convulsions. Aidan feigns ignorance of this and tries to go back to work, alerting Tash to his suspicious behaviour. She realises he knows about Andrew. Aidan says he can't say one way or another about Andrew, but says the symptoms she describes sounds like epilepsy, which could mean that this person, whoever it is, isn't getting it treated properly. Aidan returns to work.
Kyle leaves his bedroom to answer the front door. It's Sonya, who's come to invite Kyle to dinner. When he refuses, she assumes it's to get a good night rest before Jade gets back tomorrow. Sonya lets him off for tonight, but just as she's about to leave, she remembers she wants to borrow the vegetarian cookbook she gave to Jade as a present. Sonya comes in to hunt around for it, so Kyle unconvincingly says that Jade has taken it to LA with her.
KYLE: She spotted it on the shelf and said it reminded her of you.
SONYA: A cook book reminded her of me?
KYLE: A vego cook book, because you're a vego. (Kyle says guiltily)
SONYA: (Sonya's suspicious look turns to a smile) That's really sweet!
Sonya leaves. Kyle sighs with relief as Jade leaves the bedroom, making fun of Kyle's lying skills. Kyle says that if Sonya knows she's back, she'll want a piece of her too, and he wants her to himself. He spins Jade around and kisses her.
In Kyle's bedroom, Jade sits on the bed while a shirtless Kyle joins her. Sonya calls Jade, to find out if she's bringing the cookbook home with her. Jade says she is, and pretends she's at the airport. Kyle puts on a dodgy American accent, and calls for Jade's boarding pass as she's holding up the line. Jade says bye to Sonya, and laughs about Kyle's terrible accent. He then play feeds her ice cream.
Tash tells Andrew that she's spoken to Aidan and she knows Andrew has epilepsy. Tash lectures him as he needs to get help. Aidan might not be allowed to tell anyone, but there's nothing stopping her.
Karl pops by to see how Sophie's doing. Paul says she's fine and encourages Karl to leave. Karl asks how Andrew is doing and how he is coping with running the bar.
PAUL: I hand that boy a gift and he treats it like everything else in life. It's just a complete waste of my time and money.
KARL: There's a lot of stress in running a bar.
PAUL: Andrew wouldn't know stress if it asked him out for dinner.
KARL: He has been through quite a bit in the last few weeks, Paul
PAUL: He is not the one learning to walk again. He has got no idea how lucky he is.
Karl asks if Andrew has spoken to him about anything, Paul wonders why Karl is so interested in Andrew. Paul says that Andrew came out of the crash with only a few scratches and a bruised ego, and he's sure Andrew will be fine.
Paul asks Tash how the setup for tonight is going.
TASH: Fine. (Pause) It's a trivia night!
PAUL: It doesn't mean your attitude has to be trivial Natasha
Paul asks Andrew where he's been and lectures him on why he wasn't able to reach him earlier. While Tash overhears, Paul tells Andrew off for not putting up posters about the trivia night, but Andrew says the advertising was done through social media sites. Paul points out how empty the place is, and continues to berate Andrew, telling Andrew he looks like he just rolled out of bed. He assumes that Andrew had been out partying all night, which Andrew denies. He reminds Andrew that if he has one more stuff up, then that's it. Andrew says to wait until tonight, people will come.
Aidan rushes to Andrew to explain, he didn't tell Tash, she only found out because she saw him having a fit. Aidan and Tash are worried about him.
Tash encourages Chris to come tonight, Chris doesn't think he will. He made the effort to try and fix things with Andrew and he threw it back in his face. Tash asks him to come for her.
Aidan reminds Andrew that he promised he would go to the hospital if he had another fit. Aidan pleads with Andrew to get help, otherwise people will find out, including Paul.
Chris says it's not like Tash to defend Andrew. Tash gets back to work.
Bossy is chewing on the ice cream carton, while Jade and Kyle lie on their bed. Kyle wants to hear about Jade's trip to LA, but she doesn't want to talk about it. He asks her if she had a good time, but she evades the question by saying they should go on a walk.
Jade and Kyle leave their house, taking Bossy for a walk, looking around to make sure no one will see that Jade is back. They see Paul heading for his car, so Jade hides behind Kyle's truck. Paul walks over and checks that Kyle is free tomorrow to fit out the house for Sophie. As Paul leaves, Kyle encourages Jade to head back inside so they can talk about LA, but she wants to go for a walk, and says they'll have plenty of time to catch up.
Karl asks Aidan if he's spoken to Andrew lately. Karl says Andrew isn't dealing with the epilepsy issue, he hasn't told his dad. Aidan says Andrew won't talk to him about it, he gets angry every time Aidan mentions it but Andrew's worried if Paul finds out he'll take away the bar. Aidan tells Karl that Andrew had a fit today, and he thinks he can manage it himself and is refusing to tell anyone. He says that they both know Andrew can't manage it himself, but until Andrew sees it there's not much more they can do.
Karl brings around some exercises for Sophie. He asks if Andrew has spoken to him about the accident, and suggests that if he hasn't talked to him about it then he must be still processing what's happened. Paul tells Karl to mind his own business, so Karl leaves.
Jade and Kyle come back from their walk with Bossy. Kyle asks if Jade isn't enjoying LA. Jade says it's amazing, she loves everything about it, and she doesn't want him to think that she's not missing him, or that he's missing out. Kyle says he doesn't care about LA, but he wants to hear about her. He likes to feel a part of it. They decide to get some more ice cream and she'll tell him all about her trip. Just as Jade asserts that she knew no one would see them, Sonya bursts in, like a mad cartoon character, having seen Jade returning.
Sonya, Jade and Kyle have ice cream. Jade says she got back earlier, but they wanted some time alone together. Sonya understands, and insists they come around to hers tomorrow. Sonya leaves, ecstatic about keeping Jade's return a secret until tomorrow. Kyle throws his and Jade's ice cream away. He doesn't want to talk about LA, he wants to make the most of their time together, so he pounces on Jade and kisses her.
Karl pleads with Andrew to tell Paul about his condition, but Andrew tells Karl that he's too busy to talk. Then Tash starts asking Andrew why he hasn't told Paul. Andrew tells her that Paul would not let him manage the bar if he has epilepsy. Paul will take this away from him if he finds out. He begs Tash not to tell him.
Paul berates Andrew again, this time about the location of the stage, it's a health and safety hazard as it's blocking an exit. Paul tells him to move it and continues to be mean and spiteful to Andrew. Tash comes over and takes responsibility for the stage. Paul accepts this and leaves, while Andrew and Tash share a look.
