Kate being mistaken for Jade.
Sophie finding out that Callum and Rani are a couple!
Previously on Neighbours
Summer accepting that she is single again.
Susan being diagnosed with MS.
Susan having an MS episode.
Number 28
Karl finds out when Summer comes home about the problems they've had at work and that Susan told her to go home so she could sort it out... so guess here he is off to after picking up his keys!
He departs and Tash and Chris come over to console Sum now she's officially back to singledom. They persuade her to come to Charlie's, despite Red Cotton playing there.
Erinsborough News
Karl arrives to check on Susan just as she confirms to the Printer he's got everything for the run. She isn't exactly impressed to see him and covers up having another shaking episode when she locks the office up for the night.
Number 32
Tash is beautifying Summer while Chris/Aidan wait on patiently. She remarks too that out of the teen trio, Chris is the only one in a relationship and that Aidan is a good catch for him!
Charlie's veranda
Tash jokes at Andrew's hair when they spot him coming and insults him to his face when he does come over! After thanking them for coming, he leaves to go talk to Red Cotton who has just arrived. Summer confirms to Aidan who the lead singer of the band is and agrees (simultaneously with Chris) that he's hot!
Griffin comes over to make himself known to Tash (he's to see her regarding food/drinks) and she tells him to see her at the bar when he's ready, before saying goodbye to the others as her shift is about to start.
Susan's house
Susan gets the shakes again as she makes herself a cuppa and the cup smashes to the floor when she tries to lift it. Realising she needs help, she calls the hospital to see if Karl is working.
Charlie's
Griffin comes up to get a drink from Tash and they make polite small talk before he asks her out for drinks! She doesn't realise he means with just her (she wanted to include the others) but when he indicates it's just with her, Tash clams up and can't get away from him quick enough but does say she will let him know later.
Aidan quizzes her over what happened (he thinks Griffin was hassling her) and she explains why she turned him down (she's not in the right headspace for guy dramas).
(Later)
Andrew thanks Tash for keeping the band watered/fed just as Griffin comes over to see if she will go on a date with him. Tash turns him down, citing she has a boyfriend, and puts him onto Summer instead after squaring it that its all cool between Summer/Andrew and adds in that Sum thinks he's hot! "There's not reason she can't move on with you," she tells him.
Charlie's
Commercial break later and Red Cotton take to the stage and strut their stuff.
Tash remarks to Sum when she takes a pause while collecting glasses that the lead singer keeps looking at her but Sum thinks its just part of being the lead singer's role to look at the crowd!
TASH: Not in the way he's looking at you!
Sum still isn't buying it but after a bit more staring she seems to be warming to him, so Tash tells her to stop thinking of him (Sum admits she isn't sure how she feels about him) and to just enjoy it!
Griffin continues the staring and again after more words of wisdom from Tash, Sum seems to be totally warming to Griffin!
Hospital
Susan is surprised when it's Rhys that calls her name (Karl isn't working) and she is reluctant for him to be treating her since he knows her personally but after explaining that she'd have to wait until tomorrow then before seeing someone else, and that he will be totally professional with her, she enters the room.
Susan explains her symptoms to Rhys and asks if he can check her meds. Before he gets to that, he brings to her attention that now she's living by herself she needs to get the house geared up in case she has an attack. Susan isn't impressed and reminds him that she isn't an invalid.
RHYS: Susan at some stage in the future your symptoms may get worse. I'm just trying to make sure you're prepared.
Susan isn't at all impressed at how Rhys is treating her and goes to leave but he stops her and shows Susan a picture of his mother when she was 30 (fit and healthy) and she is a bit puzzled about what its got to do with her. He then shows her another picture, one taken recently (wheelchair bound).
RHYS: There's nothing she can do about her condition.
SUSAN: I had no idea.
RHYS: You came here because you knew you needed help. Don't leave without it.
Charlie's
Red Cotton finish their set and as Griffin is towelling down, Tash remarks to Summer that she should offer to be his towel!
SUMMER: Tash!
TASH: (re-thinking) Yes, you're right, too skanky!
She urges Sum to talk to Griffin but she chickens out and decides to go to the bathroom instead. Chris quizzes Tash since he saw earlier that Griffin was into her but she replies that everyone flirts with the barmaid and it's Sum who needs the boost. She then negotiates with Chris and Aidan to go dancing at some place in St. Kilda and that Griffin can take care of Summer!
Susan's house
Susan shows Rhys her place has been (slightly) adapted after he drives her home from the hospital (he was just finishing apparently). He also adds she has to ask when she needs help... and just at that Karl arrives! Karl is puzzled as to why Rhys is there but neither says the reason and she gets both to leave so she can go to bed.
Outside in the corridor, Karl tries to quiz Rhys if Susan is alright but much to his frustration, replies that he should ask Susan as it isn't his place to say!
Back inside the flat, Susan puts Rhys' business card into her purse.
Charlie's
Summer compliments Griffin on their gig when he comes up to the bar for another drink. They formally introduce each other before making small talk as Andrew reports back to the other members of Red Cotton the great feedback the punters gave the gig. The other band members invite Andrew out for a post-gig drink, which he agrees to go on once he's finished doing something on his lappy... and spots Summer's Facebook post about her change in relationship status, looking quite cut up about it too!.
Meanwhile at the bar, Griffin invites Summer out too for drinks but she turns him down as she has to suck up to her boss at work. Griffin compliments her on her work (he's read some of her stuff online) and talks her into going out on a date with him as Andrew watches on from the other side of the bar sick as a pig!
(Later)
Final commercial break later, Andrew comes over to tell Griffin they are about to head out for drinks. He asks for Andrew to give him a minute, and when he leaves, gets Summer's number from her. She then kisses him on the cheek before pausing for a minute (while they look at each other) before kissing again, but this time a pash... witnessed of course by Andrew from the other side of the bar!
Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Sum telling Tash about the kiss.
- Tash queering Sum if she's as over Andrew as she thought she was.
- Andrew chatting to Chris about the kiss.
- Paul commenting on Lyn's new employee.
- Lucas refusing to get to know Vanessa more, letting her stay in the house is as far as he'll go!
- Vanessa suffering from morning sickness.
- Lucas warning Vanessa to stay away from Sonya.
