Sonya tells Emilia that she and Toadie are trying for a baby
Rhys tells Toadie that his sperm count is low so conception will be unlikely
Tash finds out about Michael and Emilia
Lucas sees Michael and Emilia kissing and calls Michael asking to speak to him.
Michael arrives at the Garage and finds it locked up. He enters through the back door and finds Lucas inside. Lucas tells Michael he saw him kissing Emilia.
LUCAS: Do you know what makes it worse. That it was you
MICHAEL: I didn't know what to say.
LUCAS: You could have been honest. It was easier to spit on two years of friendship like it was nothing
MICHAEL: I love her!
Lucas grabs Michael by the collar and pushes him back onto a car
LUCAS: Do you think that makes it better! We're supposed to be mates, I trusted you!
Chris enters and pulls the two of them apart. Lucas asks Michael to stay away from him. Michael leaves. Chris asks Lucas if he's okay, Lucas orders Chris to leave.
Tash comes home from the beach and sees Emilia setting up the table for a meal. Tash thinks it's weird that Michael and Emilia are going to have a meal together, as usually it's just Michael and Tash together. Tash asks if Emilia stayed over last night, Emilia did and says she probably should have asked first.
EMILIA: You do know, I'm never going to take him away from you. Yeah?
Sonya is worrying about Toadie taking his fertility sample in to the doctor, asking him to make sure he keeps it at the right temperature and doesn't drop it etc. Karl comes over to speak to them about this, reminding them the sample has to be in at the doctor's in under 2 hours. Just as Toadie's about to get going, he gets a phone call telling him has to drop a file into work. He and Sonya argue about making sure to get the sample into the doctors on time (completely oblivious to Karl, offering to help, but Karl is unable to get a word in.) Karl walks off discretely after getting a phone call, while Toadie gets in the car to go to work.
Emilia feels bad about Lucas, Michael is relieved he was in the firing line and not Emilia.
Chris returns to visit Lucas, telling Lucas he's worried about him.
Tash overhears Michael and Emilia talking about Tash getting used to the two of them being together. Tash looks at photos of her with her dad. Michael tells Emilia not to speak to Lucas as it'll make things worse.
Chris says if Lucas is staying at work, then he'll stay too. Lucas says that's fine.
Michael feels guilty about all the people they've hurt Lucas, Tash, Helena.
EMILIA: At least we're being honest with each other about how we feel. We're not pretending that these feelings aren't important. Maybe we should have done that from the start. Anyway, the main difference is that we've got each other. We're not running away from that.
Simmons and Colbert Law Firm
Toadie leaves the file with Charlotte, but she asks him to stay as she needs someone to go through it with her. She asks if Toadie has somewhere more important to be he says not if she needs to talk it through (well this makes no sense he could have easily said he was busy)
Lucas yells at Chris about there being no oil filters, Chris tells him that the delivery is coming later. They both decide to get a coffee, but Chris is annoyed by Lucas taking his anger out on him.
Lucas and Chris arrive, Chris offers to buy Lucas a drink but he just gives off a bad attitude. Lucas sees Tash and goes over to her.
LUCAS: You must all be having a good laugh, you, your dad, your auntie
TASH: Lucas, it's not like that
LUCAS: Your family's sick, you know that. Your precious aunt is a two- faced tramp. Your dad is even worse. Not happy unless he's stealing somebody else's woman. First Rebecca, then Emilia. Once wasn't good enough for him?
TASH: Don't you dare talk about my dad like that
LUCAS: Truth hurts
CHRIS: Hey, Lucas...
TASH: Don't come in here and badmouth my family
LUCAS: You're gutless scum, the pair of you
TASH: And you're a pathetic bitter old man, who's upset because he didn't get the girl. They belong together Lucas, get over it!
Lucas storms off
Tash arrives and tells Michael and Emilia that Lucas yelled at her for what they did. Tash tells them that she realised that Michael and Emilia belong together, and she wants them to be happy. Tash says at first she found it weird, but now she realises they're a family. Tash says she's got their backs, whatever Lucas does next. Michael and Emilia hug Tash against her will.
Rhys and Aidan enter, while Rhys orders, Aidan sits with Chris and asks if everything is alright. Chris tells Aidan that Lucas found out about Michael and Emilia and he's taking it out on everyone near him. Aidan tells him to give Lucas space
AIDAN: You're not his dad
CHRIS: He needs someone looking out for him
AIDAN: Fine, but just don't let him use you as a punching bag. Find a different way for him to get it off his chest, or just stay out of his way.
Simmons and Colbert Law Firm
Toadie turns the heating up, while he discusses a case with Charlotte. Charlotte wants to go through all the details for the case. Toadie calls Sonya and tells her Code Red.'
Toadie and Sonya go through more details of the case, while Sonya arrives.
SONYA: I'm sorry to interrupt. Jarrod is needed, it's an urgent family matter
CHARLOTTE: You could have rung
SONYA: Oh no, it's an emergency
TOADIE: What happened?
SONYA: No everyone's fine. No they're not. Callum's... Callum, he fell out of a tree
As Toadie and Sonya prepare to run off, Charlotte decides to join them, offering to give support while their sons in hospital. Toadie and Sonya admit Callum isn't in hospital. Toadie says he should be at the hospital to deliver a sample. Charlotte understands and lets them go
CHARLOTTE: I reserve naming rights for that child. Think about it.
Sonya and Toadie run into the hospital to hand in the sample, when Karl tells them off for leaving their car parked in the Emergency Bay. Karl takes the sample from them.
TOADIE: But I need to sign for it.
KARL: No you don't, I'm a doctor I can sign on your behalf
TOADIE and SONYA: What?
TOADIE: Why didn't you say that before?
KARL: Because you two were too busy arguing. Now I'll put this into the lab, go and shift the car!
TOADIE: It's okay, it's all going to be okay
SONYA: Yes the sample made it
TOADIE: Let's never speak of this again.
Chris and Lucas start arguing about work. Chris gives Lucas two choices either get off his back or talk to him about it. Lucas says Chris couldn't possibly tell him anything that he needs to know, Chris offers to listen but Lucas leaves.
Lucas walks in, finding Emilia in the living room. Emilia apologises. Lucas asks Emilia if she loves Michael, she says she does. He asks how long it's been going on, and if she was with Michael while they were together. Emilia says no, but Lucas can tell she's lying. She admits they kissed once while she was with Lucas.
EMILIA: Michael and I, we have a connection
LUCAS: What are you saying, that you wanted him the whole time you were with me?
EMILIA: Michael's and my history, it goes back years, long before I knew you
LUCAS: So what, your sister dies and you get over it by hooking up with her husband. That's sick!
EMILIA: I love him Lucas, I always have!
Michael and Tash arrive, Lucas heads towards the door.
LUCAS: Tash was right about one thing. You two do belong together, you're just as pathetic as each other.
Aidan comes to visit Chris and make sure he's okay. Chris tells him what happened with Lucas and that he's been away for ages. Chris tries calling Lucas
Lucas is sitting with an empty beer glass, asking the barman for another when his phone ring. He turns it off.
Chris worries about Lucas, especially if he's on his bike like this, and tells Aidan he has to find him. Aidan offers to drive Chris while they search for Lucas.
Lucas leaves Charlie's and gets on his bike, passing Rhys. Chris arrives and tells Lucas that he shouldn't be on his bike, he can tell Lucas has been drinking. He asks Lucas for the keys, or he'll call the cops. As Lucas refuses, Chris steals Lucas's keys and runs away.
Tomorrow on Neighbours
Chris tells Lucas how the last person he knew that took off on a bike like that, killed someone.
Lucas chats to a girl, Vanessa, at Charlies
