Number 26
Kyle wants to talk to a very reluctant Jade about what happened with Sonya. Kyle reminds Jade that he had no idea that Sonya didn't know about her ex. Jade responds by telling him that she told him in confidence and he shouldn't have told anyone. Kyle says he didn't know it was a secret and if he had he wouldn't have said anything. Kyle apologises for talking to Sonya, but tells Jade that she isn't being fair. Jade isn't ready to forgive Kyle and doesn't want to go to the Australia day picnic the next day either.

Harold's
Tash can see Chris is miserable and tells him he should have said yes to Aidan. Chris suddenly wants to leave but Tash protests that Andrew and Summer havn't arrived yet. Chris says he will see them at the tennis tomorrow and hurries out the door. As Chris leaves Tash spots Aidan and understands why Chris suddenly wanted to go. Tash goes over to talk to Aidan and finds out that he is going to the lake for a barbecue tomorrow. She says that she will be there too and might see him. Tash watches Aidan go with a mischievous look on her face.

Number 26
It is the next morning and Sonya tells Jade that it was good to see her and Kyle the day before. Sonya asks where Kyle is and Jade says she doesn't know. Sonya looks at Jade sympathetically.

The Lake
Lucas is setting up for the picnic when Kyle arrives. Lucas has some nice chairs for Emilia and a special picnic to try and make amends for the last few weeks. He says that you have to do what it takes to make the relationship last. Kyle looks thoughtful.

Number 26
Sonya wants to know if Jade and Kyle are alright and Jade tries to claim they are fine.

The Lake
Kyle wants to know if a few chops would do the trick and Lucas asks him what he has done. Kyle says he hasn't done anything and Lucas says he must have done something. Kyle admits he repeated something personal that Jade had told him, but he didn't know it was a secret. Lucas asks Kyle if he has had a girlfriend before. Lucas tells him that women are complicated and he has to keep things simple and keep the vault shut.

Number 26
Sonya tells Jade that she and Toadie are trying to have a baby for real this time, Toadie didn't know they were trying before. Sonya says that she wanted to tell Jade because she is her sister.

JADE: You know sister's don't have to share everything Son.

Sonya can sense something is wrong with Jade.

The Lake
Lucas is explaining how the vault works to Kyle and says it goes both ways. Jade can't reveal Kyle's secrets either. Kyle looks like he might have an idea.

Lassiters complex
Tash is sitting on a wall waiting for Chris, when she sees him she gives him and big hug and wishes him a happy Australia day. Tash is surprised to see that Chris has been to the garage and reminds him that they are going out. Chris wants to give it a miss but Tash tells him that it is a public holiday and he doesn't have to work. Chris explains that the car is really important to his Dad and he doesn't feel like going to the city. Tash tells him that they are not going to the city anymore, making out that Summer changed her mind about the tennis. Tash talks Chris into going to the barbecue and drags him off to find him some clothes to wear, despite Chris claiming that his overalls bring out his eyes.

The Lake
Tash and Chris arrive at the party and join Andrew and Summer. Andrew asks where they have been and Chris tells him that Tash made him change three times. They all work out why Tash insisted they go to the barbecue when they see Aidan. Chris is not impressed at being set up and tries to leave but Tash won't let him. Aidan comes over to say hello and Tash suggests he joins them, which he happily agrees to. Chris looks a bit awkward.

Number 26
Kyle comes in and finds Jade sitting on the couch by herself. He sits down and starts telling her a secret of his own about watching Honga's mum vacuuming without any clothes on. Kyle then tells her that he was mucking about in a raft with Zeke and caused an accident, after which Zeke went missing. For two months Kyle thought he had killed Zeke. Jade wants to know why Kyle is telling her all of this. Kyle wants it to go in their couple's vault but Jade isn't impressed. Kyle says that they all have issues but he doesn't take his out on her, like she does to him.

The Lake
Tash, Summer, Andrew, Aidan and Chris are looking at the picnic that Lucas put together for Emilia. Chris and Andrew don't want to touch it, but Tash is sure it will be fine. Tash comments that Lucas is practically family because he is dating her aunt and won't mind. Summer agrees that Tash has a point, Aidan is pretty hungry and Andrew thinks that Lucas is a generous guy so they all help themselves. Tash then suggests that Aidan and Chris go to get some hot food as well, giving them some alone time.

Summer tells Tash not to push it so much as Chris has already said no to Aidan. Tash says she just wants to give them a nudge in the right direction.

Aidan and Chris don't really know what to say to each other so Tash sends Chris an encouraging look. The boys start talking about tennis.

Lucas is leading Emilia down the steps with her eyes closed, to take her to her surprise picnic. Lucas was expecting them to have the park to themselves and is shocked to see so many people. Lucas is not impressed to find Tash in his chair and eating his food. Tash tells him that Andrew, Summer and Chris have been eating it too. Struggling to keep a straight face Emilia tells him that what he did was sweet and they go to get some drinks.

In the background Kyle arrives, then decides to leave again.

Number 26
Jade is sitting alone meditating, but she is struggling to concentrate. Eventually she gives up.

Later Jade is sitting on the couch when Kyle comes out and says he is going to Honga's.

JADE: You're right, I do take things out on you and you're right, it's not fair.
KYLE: You finished?
JADE: This is all really new to me, it's not easy.

Kyle points out that it's not easy for him either. Jade says that she hasn't had a boyfriend since the one who abused her and she is so used to looking after herself. She isn't used to having to worry about someone else. She isn't making excuses it is just hard, even with Sonya. Kyle understands and just asks her not to take it out on him, he can't take much more. Jade promises she will try not to and she will keep what he said about Honga's mum in the vault. They kiss having made up.

Number 30
Jade tells Sonya that everything will work out with Toadie and not to stress. Sonya is worried that they have been trying to make a baby for a while and nothing is happening. Sonya starts telling Jade all about her fertility diary and how she is planning for a spring baby. Jade looks overwhelmed by all the details.

SONYA: So that's too much information?
JADE: No no no, I asked for it, about it. I asked about it.

Lassiters
Lucas and Emilia are sitting at a table away from the party because Emilia isn't feeling very well. She says that she is fine and the picnic was lovely. She says it was the best Australia day ever except for when she became an Australian citizen when she was eight years old. She also got to meet Jimmy Barnes one Australia day and spent another Australia day watching the sunrise over Uluru. Lucas suggests they head home but Emilia wants to go to the barbecue. She thinks it will be fun, if Tash hasn't eaten them out of house and home.

Charlie's
Aidan is teaching Chris to play pool while Andrew tries to distract him. Chris manages to sink the ball and Tash comments that he and Aidan make a great team. Andrew playfully tells Summer off for not distracting Chris enough, despite Sum claiming she was willing the ball not to go in. Andrew says that this is the point where Chris normally chokes so Aidan encourages him. Aidan is standing behind Chris telling him to give the ball a gentle little kiss when Chris accidentally pokes him in the face. Andrew and Summer go to see if Aidan is okay and poor Chris looks mortified.

Later Aidan has an icepack on his face and is telling Chris to stop apologising.

CHRIS: At least we won right?
TASH: Actually Andrew's claiming the win because you guys defaulted.
AIDAN: Okay you can say it now.
CHRIS: Sorry.

Aidan is interested in the barman and says he will be coming back more often. As they start to flirt, Tash drags Chris away. Tash reassures Chris that he didn't mean to hit Aidan and so it wasn't his fault. Tash wants Chris to admit he likes Aidan but Chris doesn't want to ruin things with his Dad. Tash isn't buying it and thinks Chris is scared.

TASH: This has nothing to do with your Dad! You can't hide behind this stuff anymore, not with me. Time to man up Pappas, or you might miss your chance.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Sonya is planning a romantic meeting with Toadie, but she screams when someone else walks in on her.
- Tash asking Chris if he wants to go out with Aidan and trying to persuade him to ask Aidan out.
- Erin telling Rhys that she is on her last warning at work.
- Rhys sabotaging Erin again.
