- Karl tries to advise Mal not to make the same mistakes he did
- Karl confronts Jade about it; Susan sees them together acting strangely
- Sonya bans Callum from the internet for not delivering his papers
- Summer complains about feeling stressed because of losing the footage
- Summer confesses to Chris that she cheated
It's late and Summer is up making a hot chocolate. She has flashbacks of cheating for her English exam and thinks of Chris telling her to come clean.
Its morning and things are still tense between Karl and Mal. When Karl leaves to shower, Susan questions Mal on the tension, thinking it's something about her and Karl.
Karl comes around to thank Jade and apologise for taking things out on her. He offers to buy her a fresh coffee - no hard feelings.
Cal is trying to guess the broadband password: Toadfish. Squid. Sonya. My dad sucks.
TOADIE: I thought of using that one too but I thought it was too easy to guess.
Cal calls it child cruelty.
Jade is hammering out a new fitness plan for Karl but he's not keen on four sessions a week.
KARL: I assume I'll be getting a bit of a discount.
JADE: Now why would you make an assumption like that?
KARL: You don't give concessions for neighbours?
JADE: No! My terms are very strict, you know that. Plus, if I give you a discount, you won't work as hard.
KARL: How do you figure that?
JADE: Because I know you'll never skip a session if it's costing you money.
Susan comes in and sees them chatting happily and is disturbed. She's even more disturbed when she sees Jade playfully punching Karl when they talk about whether he can handle boxing.
Later, Karl has gone and has been replaced by Sonya. Susan is still spying on them and can't help but go over as she's leaving. She small talks about the book club and invites Jade to join but Jade doesn't read. Susan subtly hints that Jade can bring a male if she's not into girlfriends and gossip, but she doesn't read so book club really isn't her thing.
Susan grills Mal on what he thinks of Jade, which freaks him out considering their relations. But then Susan mentions Jade and Karl...and Mal almost bursts out laughing. Susan is getting all worked up while saying that she shouldn't because Karl is entitled to do what he wants. But she's all worked up anyway.
Chris knows that the exam cheating secret will keep eating at Summer but she still can't bring herself to say anything. Andrew tries to tell her that she'll forget about the exams once she's in Uni but she isn't even sure if she'll make it into Uni. Chris looks at her worriedly.
Everyone's hanging out here today. Cal sneaks in with his laptop and pretends to talk to random strangers because he's not supposed to be in a bar on his own. Lucas calls him over but when Callum tells him why he can't get on the internet, Lucas refuses to help him and tells him to go home.
Summer and Andrew are sucking face. He tells her that he's proud of her and good luck for her final exam. He's about to leave and she finally owns up to cheating on the first exam. Andrew is gobsmacked. When he recovers, he comes up with a simple Andrew solution: don't say anything. He tries to say that he's at fault because he deleted her footage and she looks like she's thinking about it.
There's some annoying knocking but nobody wants to get it. It's Callum who's after some Wi- Fi. Callum tries to make a convincing case that Toadie sent him over but Rhys isn't buying it and tells him to leave. Dane, however, promises to handle it. And immediately gives the password out on the promise of a great game.
Cal's setting up the game for Dane but he thinks it's too much setting up for a computer game. The gig is up though because Rhys called Toad and he drags Cal back home. Dane and Toadie have a short discussion about the classics: Frogger and Galaga.
Susan is disturbed to hear Karl is training with Jade. When he leaves, we get some awesome flashbacks.
Flashback one: When Susan finds out that Karl cheated with Sarah.
SUSAN: I trusted you! I believed everything you ever said to me!
She turns to leave but Karl desperately grabs her arm so she turns back and gives him a great big slap!
KARL: There is nothing going on, I swear it.
SUSAN: Then why do I have this feeling.
Flashback three: When Susan finds out that Izzy is pregnant.
SUSAN: You are pathetic! You walk out of our marriage after thirty years because you want to be free! And within minutes, you're telling me you're going to be a daddy again!
SUSAN: Shut up!
Off in a daze. Susan drops the bowl she's holding.
Susan goes to knock but stops herself when she hears Jade training with Karl. She opens the door and sneaks in but doesn't realise that Rhys is sitting on the couch.
RHYS: Please, come in. Let me guess: you want Wi- Fi too?
Karl is surprised to see Susan there and Rhys is amused at Susan's claim that she came bursting into the house to see Dane. She says that her wardrobe door is not working so she was wondering if Dane could take a look at it. Not now...maybe in the morning. She makes an exit and Jade looks amused.
Susan's sitting and staring into space but she pretends to be gathering her things to go out to the library. When she's gone, Karl quickly asks Mal if he knows what's going on with Susan. Mal does, as a matter of fact.
MAL: Mum thinks you're the one having an affair with Jade.
Karl is a little happy that Susan is jealous.
