In Sophie's room, Noah is giving her some guitar tutoring. Kate knocks on the door and says she's just heading to work. She leaves and Noah stares longingly after her, ignoring Sophie's question about when his next gig is. When he eventually goes come out of his daze, he explains that he has nothing lined up yet. Sophie tells him there's loads of good venues in Erinsborough and goes back to her strumming.
Sophie is trying to talk Kate into making Harolds a venue. Jade overhears and thinks it could be a good idea, but Kate tells her not to encourage Sophie, who has moved on to thinking they could open the door and have speakers outside. Kate explains even if she wanted live music at Harolds, Lyn would never agree and they don't have a license. She know why Sophie is doing this.
KATE: Cos you think Noah's a really great teacher and you wanna help him out, but you don't have to take it this far.
Chris is taking the mick out of Andrew's car. Sophie appears and asks who she can contact about organising a gig for Noah. Andrew says he won't be able to help – none of the clubs will have him. She thanks them anyway.
Callum has overheard Sophie asking for a venue and he thinks he could talk Toadie into letting Sophie have the Mens Shed. She thinks that's awesome and it'll be great for tonight. Callum doesn'thtink Sophie can get it organised for tonight, but she said Callum just needs to sort the venue, she'll find the people.
Sophie is using Facebook to try and round up some people and Callum comes in saying that Toadie said yes. Callum wonders if Kate agreed to supervise and Sophie said she did.
Noah orders a muffin and Kate doesn't know how he could eat before a gig. “What gig?” He asks.
Callum wants to know how many people Sophie has got together. Five is the response, and two of them are Cal and herself.
Kate explains that Sophie has organised a gig for Noah and they'll be loads of people. Noah wonders if she'll be there, and she says she will be.
Callum tells her to refresh the page. Still five. Sophie wants to cancel it, but Callum says she's got to give it time – not everyone sits at their computers all day. Sophie isn't going to let Noah play at a gig with no audience. Callum thinks she should wait longer.
Toadie has come to speak to Sonya. Sonya says he meeting went well and she has lot sof signatures on he rpetition against the shopping centre. She wants Toadie to sign.
TOADIE: I can't sign that petition, I'm too close the project.
SONYA: What do you mean?
TOADIE: I'm the lawyer representing the developers.
Sonya wants Toadie to back out of it, but he explains he's not his own boss anymore and he has to do it. He also tells her that plenty of areas have shopping centres and it doesn't mean the smaller business suffer – people like local knowledge and good customer service. Toadie says it's not the end of her nursery, but it could be the end of his job if he doesn't take it.
Noah calls in to see Sophie and thank her for organising the gig. He gives her a present and heads off to organise his playlist. Sophie looks scared.
Chris shouts Andrew a drink – because it's pay day. Sophie comes in trying to persuade them both to go to Noah's gig. Andrew doesn't want to go, but Sophie begs him, and to bring all his friends because family is meant to help out family. Andrew agrees.
In her room, Sophie is trying on many outfits. Kate hurries her up, or else they'll be late.
Toadie looks stressed and unhappy. Sonya walks in and Toadie is going to head back to work. Sonya tells him that the development is everything she is against, but he took the job for her and for the garden – so she supports him. They hug.
Toadie tells Peter Noonan that he's in, fully and completely. Peter says he's getting a bit tired of the whining. He tells him to get on with it. Toadie skulks off into his office and Peter picks up his phone, telling the person on the other end that “Rebecchi is sorted”.
Noah is tuning his guitar and Andrew and Chris arrive. Andrew's had a brainwave – to get the car he wants he's going to buy rubbish old cars and do them up…well Chris is going to do them up. Chris wants to know what percentage cut he'd get of the profits. Andrew says 30%. Chris refuses and thinks 60% is fairer – as he'd be doing the actual work. Andrew strikes a deal at 50- 50.
Sophie goes over to Noah and apologises for the turn out (there's about 15 of them there), Noah looks at Kate and says it doesn't matter – it's all about the quality.
Noah plays. Jade tells Kate this isn't what she thought Kate meant when she said a gig – she feels like she's babysitting.
Noah finishes and they clap. He invites Sophie to do the song they practised earlier today. She gets up on stage and she plays along with Noah. Jade looks at them and tells Kate to look properly at Sophie – she's definitely got the hots for Noah. And, yep, from the look on Kate's face she sees it too.
Noah and Sophie finish and everyone claps (it sounds like a lot of clapping for a handful of people). Kate can't believe she didn't see it, but perhaps it's just a crush. Jade thinks it's not a crush, Sophie has completely fallen for him. Kate doesn't know what to do – she can't embarrass Sophie like she did over the Zeke situation.
