Lucas revealing he bought Sophie the guitar.
Lucas telling Michelle that his dad's inheritance is a distraction.
Lucas complaining to Kate that all Michelle talks about is his dad's money.
Tash complaining that her dad is selfish for sending her away.
Tash telling Jade she'll go in next door's pool if she wants to.
Tash slipping in the pool.
Michael arrives home to find Tash being carted into an ambulance with a mask on her face, unconscious. He jumps in with her as Jade and the gang watch them leave.
Michael waits for news on Tash as Jade, Chris, Summer and Andrew arrive. Mike demands to know how it happened, and has a go at Jade for not protecting the kids. Jade defends herself: she told Tash to leave, but she refused.
Cut to later when cute nurse Aidan says that Tash is okay, but hit her head and needs watching. He comments that Jade doing CPR made a difference. In the side room Tash wakes up, shocked, and Michael tells her to relax and lay back. Tash says she was at Toadie's then complains that her dad was out all night and not home...because, you know, it's always someone else's fault.
Michael apologises, but Summer, Andrew and Chris come in to save the day. Mike kisses his daughter on the head and leaves the room to let the gang see her.
Lucas is looking into a car engine, carefully balancing a laptop as he works. Michelle creeps up on him and puts her arms around his waist, making him jump out of his skin. He quickly closes the laptop and puts the bonnet down. Michelle annoying chats away, telling him about this dream she had about him on a raft in a river, and wonders what it might mean perhaps they need to connect more? He doesn't call and text back when she gets in contact, and so she's come to the garage to just sit and watch him, so they can be together.
She takes his hand and kisses it in a bunny boiler way.
LUCAS: Do you know what? I haven't had brekkie yet...why don't we go and have something together?
LUCAS: But then you HAVE to leave.
Michelle chats about cinnamon pancakes on the way out before putting up her umbrella and hitting Lucas in the face.
Sophie practises the guitar in the garage when Kate comes in, offering pancakes to her little sister. Sophie doesn't want anything, and she doesn't really want to talk to Kate, because she needs to practice. Kate's frustrated at her sister's petulance. Welcome to the teenage years.
Michelle is talking at Lucas again about her dreams. He pretends to listen. She then wants to know when they're going to the Yarra Valley for a nice lunch and winery trip, and she's free next weekend! Lucas really isn't; work is hectic. Michelle thinks he should take ten days or two weeks and go on holiday together somewhere. She's been saving so they can do something decent perhaps somewhere in Queensland? Daydream Island?
She doesn't stop, and Lucas looks like he wants to kill himself.
Aidan tells Michael that Tash has the all- clear, and he's visibly relieved. Jade comes in and Michael apologises for shouting at her earlier, and thanks her for doing CPR. Jade comments that dramatic situations are a bit of a habit for Tash.
Michael zones out as Jade talks, and has a memory of being in water, rushing over him, as if someone's drowning. Jade puts a comforting hand on Mike's arm (cute!).
Summer and Michael have bought Tash home and he says he'll go call the school to let them know she won't be there for a couple of days. Summer tucks her friend into bed, and kisses her on the forehead before leaving. Tash tells her dad she has the noise of rushing water in her ears which is annoying her. He has another memory flashback of the rushing water with some faint voices.
Kate tells Andrew how Sophie's developed the teenage one- word answer attitude at the moment, and music has become her life; she's driving her crazy. Andrew suggests that Kate gets involved with Sophie's interests without getting in her face. Kate wishes Andrew a happy birthday on his way out.
Chris arrives, hung over, wearing large dark glasses. Lucas falls about laughing, until Chris tells him what happened with Tash. But no time for that Michelle and her large umbrella are back, ready to throw herself at Lucas again. She dropped by the travel agents and apparently Fiji is amazing, secluded and romantic. She hands Lucas the brochures before marching out again.
Lucas tells Chris that Michelle is doing his head in, and he's dropping hints which she isn't getting. Chris tells him to be blunt. Lucas quickly yells for Michelle to come back, and she skips in again to hear Lucas say he doesn't want to go to Fiji. Or anywhere. Ever. They don't know each other that well, and he doesn't really want to, either.
Michelle's face crumples and she balls her eyes out whilst Lucas tries to find words of comfort.
LUCAS: Oh, you're not going to do that...(she cries)...oh, you are. Okay, come here, it's alright. Come on, it's alright. Oh, you've got quite a tight grip...
Michelle clings onto Lucas for all she's worth.
Tash is in bed, dreaming about drowning but not in the pool. She wakes up and calls for her dad. Michael comes into her room, but Tash says she just had a dream where she was drowning. He gets up onto her bed and she tells him she heard churning, pounding water, but she didn't see anything else. She couldn't breathe and she was going right under.
She comments that it must be all the water in her ears, and Mike agrees. He leaves her room, disturbed.
In the garage Noah turns up because Kate called and asked him to give her guitar lessons. Sophie knows nothing about it, but Kate arrives minutes later and Sophie thanks her for the effort. They get playing!
Jade is working out when Lucas comments on her efforts that morning to save Tash; he heard about it. He uses it as a segway to what he wants to say...
LUCAS: Have you seen Michelle today?
JADE: Nope. Why, is there a problem?
LUCAS: I think she might a bit, um, unhinged.
JADE: Huh! You reckon?!
LUCAS: She thinks we're, like, this full on couple.
JADE: Tell her you're not.
LUCAS: I tried.
JADE: Oh, let me guess...she cracked it?
LUCAS: She snotted all over my jacket.
Jade says that Lucas should tell her again and Michelle will eventually get the message. Lucas thinks that if Jade kicks her out of the house then they'll just be able to drift apart...
Jade admits that whilst Michelle is annoying, she needs the rent from three people, so Lucas offers to pay Michelle's part until Jade finds someone! That's desperate...
JADE: You're such a wimp!
LUCAS: If she was normal, this wouldn't be a problem. I'm getting major bunny boiler vibes.
JADE: So how do you think she's going to take being evicted?
LUCAS: Better than being dumped.
But Jade refuses, so tells Lucas to grow a pair and do it.
LUCAS: Fine. But if she does go psycho, it won't be me stuck in a share house with her.
Michelle answers the door to Lucas and throws her arms around him immediately. She says she'll back off, they don't have to have a holiday now. They can wait until a special occasion, like her birthday, or their anniversary...!
Lucas tells Michelle that since his dad died he's been all over the place, and he hasn't grieved yet. She insists she can help him through it, but he doesn't think it's fair on her, and so he has to end it. He thinks she's great, though it's just bad timing.
Lucas manages to pull his hands away from hers, and leaves the house quietly. Michelle grips her fists in rage.
Outside, Lucas tells Jade he's broken up with Michelle.
Michelle listens to their conversations, and hears them commenting that there was no crying, hitting or screaming! She marches over to her disgusting shiny rainbow dolphin ornament and smashes it onto the floor.
I think this is what we call an uh- oh' moment.
