Previously on Neighbours
- Sonya sussing that Jade likes Kyle.
- Jade stating that she is going to ignore her feelings for him.
- Tash intent on having the nose job.
- Michael frustrated at being unable to parent Tash.
- Sonya getting teary after news comes through that she isn't pregnant.
Jade enters the house as Sonya is on the phone resigning from her job although she'll work out 2 weeks notice. She is a rather happy bunny when she comes off the phone because everything is going full steam ahead with the nursery – plus she wants to avoid talking about the pregnancy false alarm to Jade but is happy to talk about her instead because Jade doesn't look too great. It looks like Sonya has passed on her bug to her sister and urges her to get home pronto, even if she doesn't want to, but a call from the school (Callum's got the bug too) necessitates she leaves as Sonya has to go pick Cal up.
Jade enters her home and collapses onto a sofa to find she isn't the only one ill – Kyle is down with it too and is being driven demented by Nurse Michelle! Michelle goes to offer them magazines (cars or sports) and inadvertently blurts out that Lucas has cash to burn but then quickly realises she needs to shut up.
Kate spots Tash's pamphlets on cosmetic surgery when she goes to get her order and tells her that she doesn't need it – there is nothing wrong with her. “Nothing that can't be fixed,” is Tash's verdict and it doesn't matter how much Kate tries to say she doesn't need it, Tash is going ahead as soon as she is 18 and has the cash.

Michael is going through some of the things he has stored under the house (and looking at the photo of himself, Mrs Williams and Tash) when Kate arrives to talk to him about Tash and her plans for a nose job. He doesn't think she will go through with it, it's just a ploy by her to get a rise out of him, and admits to Kate after she tries to talk to him about it, that he's at his wit end with Tash.
MICHAEL: I've tried being tough, understanding. I've always been there to pick up the pieces. Tash needs to be responsible for her own actions it's the only way she's going to learn.
Sonya has managed to get Callum home and he's embarrassed at throwing up over his shoes! Cal begins to feel unwell again, so Sonya ends her call to the council, to go and mother him.
Thankfully we don't see Cal throw his guts up and Sonya decides to put a movie on for him to watch. She spots that he seems cold, so throws a blanket over him before he half sits up and invites her to sit on the sofa, which she does, before he then places his head on her leg and she begins stroking his hair.
SONYA: Is that better?
CALLUM: Thanks mum.
Aww and Sonya seems half- shocked/half- pleased at what he just called her.
Kate returns after her chat with Michael and sits down at Tash's table to talk to her. She begins by telling her that she is a smart girl but this isn't smart and tries to tell Tash that the women in the magazine she was looking at (and trying to work out who'd had a nose job or not) are airbrushed so you can't actually tell what is real them or not. That doesn't seem to work so Kate asks her what this is really about and she either can't or won't reply so Kate urges her to talk to her dad instead. “He doesn't care,” is Tash's verdict but Kate thinks that if she really opens up and talks to him, he will listen.
KATE: You really need to talk to him.
Michael plucks up the courage to enter the store but just as he does, Kate exits and confirms that Tash has already left.

Tash has a box of things she is planning on selling and goes into the underneath of the house to see what else there is.
Michael places his order with Kate.

Tash looks through her stuff from under the house but there is nothing decent to add to her sell box so she decides to add some of Michael's – his albums.
“I think I'm dying,” is Kyle's verdict on how he feels then decides to re- evaluate and states that what he has “is worse than dying!” He also has the shivers so decides to lie on the same sofa as Jade to get extra body heat from her even though she is aghast at what he is doing. “Aww that's so sweet,” Michelle comments when she comes back with some drinks for them from the kitchen but all it does is have Jade run for the bathroom!
After her bathroom visit, Jade retreats to her bed but is soon joined by Kyle – he's had enough of Michelle! They do battle over who is hogging the bed/cover but upon hearing Michelle's voice, act as though they are sound asleep to get rid of her! “Than you god,” Kyle whispers when Michelle leaves and even Jade as a smile on her face!
Sonya is going through her box with Callum's things from when he was a baby (and a more recent photo of Callum/Toadie) when Toadie arrives home from work.
Toadie finally makes it inside (he was on a call when his car pulled up) and immediately checks to see how Callum is – he is feeling better and decides to go and have a shower and asks his mum to make him some soup. “Mum,” Toadie repeats to Sonya when Cal leaves and she tries to underplay the significance of it but really both are totally thrilled. She admits that Cal calling her mum, has given her the push to be able to be his mum again… then admits to Toadie that she'd like to have a baby with him or at least talk about them having one.
TOADIE: Are you serious? Is this what you want?
SONYA: It's what I want.
Both are thrilled to be talking off the same hymn sheet and negotiate with each other to have a child in 2- 3 years.
Bric- a- brac shop
Tash arrives with the stuff to sell but the only things she manages to flog are some CDs (for a $1 each) but gets $175 for Michael's albums.
Cosied up together in Jade's bed, Kyle tells Jade about how his mum used to sing Neil Diamond songs to him when he was ill as a child and jokingly asks if he'd like him to do that now after she mentioned that her mum died when she was young. “I really don't,” is her polite reply and listens intently as he tells her more stories from his childhood. When she does the same, she finds her listener sound asleep!
Chris literally runs into Michael as he exits the door then inadvertently drops Tash in it when he mentions if Michael is selling any more albums can he get first shout as his mum collects them. This is news to Michael and he rushes off as we head into the final commercial break.

Michael is going through his record collection to see what is missing when Tash arrives and nonchalantly tries to talk to him about what to cook for supper but he's more interested in wanting to know what records she sold. She is a bit confused as she thought it was records he wasn't interested in but Michael is absolutely livid at her selling them.
TASH: But you never play them.
MICHAEL: WHAT RECORDS DID YOU SELL?
TASH: I don't know, some old surfing stuff.
MICHAEL: What about The Badloves album?
TASH: I don't know.
MICHAEL: DID YOU SELL THE ALBUM OR NOT?
TASH: Okay fine, I sold it. What is the big deal if you love it that much you can just get
MICHAEL: (interrupting) NO I CAN'T.
TASH: Then I don't know, take the money that I got for them, I
MICHAEL: (interrupting) This isn't about the money.
TASH: Then why do you keep going on
MICHAEL: (interrupting) YOU'VE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE NATASHA.
TASH: OH MY GOD DAD, YOU NEVER EVEN THINK.
MICHAEL: (really shouting and irate) THAT ALBUM WAS THE LAST THING YOUR MOTHER EVER GAVE ME.
Tash looks really shocked and she tries to reach out to him but instead he sadly asks that he hopes she got a good price for it before walking off.
