Erinsborough High School
Toadie is walking Callum to class, but is worried about his son. Callum doesn't want to talk about it.
Harold's Store
Jade wants Sonya to eat something, but Sonya's worried about Callum; she doesn't want him getting caught in the middle.
Erinsborough High School
Libby welcomes Callum back to school and admits to Toadie that lots of the parents and kids know what happened. Toad wants to pick Callum up after school, but Callum insists he can walk home. Toadie hugs his son goodbye, much to the amusement of some other kids who are watching. He mournfully walks off to class.
Kyle and Kate are having lunch - and a laugh. They chat away as Mark and Lucas come in. Mark has his jealous face on, and Lucas approaches the chatty friends. He wonders why Kyle is shouting Kate brekkie when he owes him two meals already. Kyle promises that Lucas will get his meals - when he has the budget for it. He offers to walk Kate back to work, and they walk past Mark on the way out.
KATE: Mark.
KYLE: Brenno.
MARK: Canning.
And it's awkward.
Mark is on the phone to his boss; there have been complaints of more mooning since Kyle accidentally mooned him a few weeks before! Mark brands Kyle an idiot, and wonders how well Lucas knows him. Lucas says that Kyle works at the car yard, and went to school with Kate. He worked at Charlie's, too. Mark is annoyed that Kyle is just 'hanging around'.
Erinsborough High School
Callum and horrid boy Dean are chatting in the classroom. Callum is boasting that he was on life support, and has an enormous scar from the accident. Dean makes fun of him because his 'daddy' walked him to school. Libby tells Dean to sit down before launching into a lecture on how life throws us unexpected issues to deal with, and how we shouldn't pressure people to talk about things before they're ready.
Subtle, Lib. She goes on to say that school should be supportive, friendly and safe, but Dean just sneers and Callum looks sad.
Harold's Store
Libby and Susan grab some lunch together, and Susan is wearing a top that is utterly the wrong shape and completely the wrong colours for her. It looks terrible. She wonders how Callum is settling back into school, and Lib tells her that she told the kids to empathise with him - after all, we all respond best when we show respect and understanding.
Susan wonders about her daughter's new outlook on life and points out how much Libby hated it when it was Michael's approach to school life last year. Good call, Susan. But Hypocrite Libby's not listening and says she wants to enjoy her lunch.
Across the store Callum is boasting to his friends about how much blood he needed - only the hospital didn't have enough so he had to get it donated. The friends are not interested, but spotting Lib across the store Dean puts his arm around Cal, then they all leave, with Callum left behind. Libby is thrilled that her new approach seems to be working. Oh, kill me now.
Erinsborough High School
Back at school Dean teases Callum about being babied by the teachers. Callum points out that he didn't ask for it, and Dean goes on to ask whether or not he cried when he found out about his mum.
DEAN: I mean, how dumb are you? You didn't even know your own mum.
CALLUM: Shut up!
Callum pushes Dean, so Dean grabs him by the shirt before Callum pushes him into the locker. Libby walks by and tries to stop the fighting, but Michael has to step in before it ends. He orders them to "that classroom" - which was unnecessary as there's only one anyway.
Cut to moments later where Callum is telling Michael he didn't want special treatment. Libby explains that she was trying to get the kids to be sensitive, but Callum retorts that she might as well have said his name - it was obvious she was talking about him. Michael reminds Callum that the school has a zero- tolerance policy on violence.
Callum says he wants the punishment, before almost bursting into tears, but says he's fine. He wants the same punishment as Dean. Michael asks Callum to go outside, and Libby insists that she can sort it out. Michael tells her that her plan didn't work, and talking it through further won't do any good - Callum's obviously reached his limit and his parents should be called.
Police Station
Toadie is waiting to see a client, and switches off his phone. Mark sends him on through.
Kate comes in, as Mark called her. He tells her that Garland Cole (involved with Lucas' illegal race- fixing) has got 18 months after having his case heard this morning. Kate wonders why Mark didn't tell her over the phone and called her in. He makes up some excuse about it impacting her and Soph, so she leaves.

Harold's Store
Kate has told Jade what happened and Jade points out that Mark is clearly not over her. Kate says that Mark is jealous whenever he sees her with Kyle.
At that moment, Lucas and Kyle come into the store.
LUCAS: Who's jealous?
JADE: Your mate. Mark!
LUCAS: Brennan?!
JADE: Yeah!
LUCAS: Of who?!
KATE: Jade... Na- hah.
JADE: Kyle!!
KYLE: (casually wandering over) Yeah, thought so.
KATE: Really?
JADE: Yeah.
LUCAS: What?!
JADE: Brennan thinks Kate and Kyle are hooking up.
KATE: Jade!
KYLE: That's fair enough. You know, why wouldn't we? Kate's hot. I'm hot.
Lucas says that Mark was also grilling him about Kyle earlier, and when Kate tells him that Mark called her to the police station to tell her about Garland, Lucas reveals that Mark only phoned him!
JADE: Jealous.
LUCAS: Looks like it.
KYLE: If you wanna work that angle I'm happy to help out.
Kate doesn't want to start playing games, despite Jade's encouragement.
Erinsborough High School
Libby has tried calling Toadie but he's not answering. Michael instructs her to call the second contact on the list. Callum stares at them then says he gets it - he'll leave the room so they can talk about him. He winces as he gets to his feet.
Once outside, Michael tells Libby that she has a duty of care to Callum, and instructs her to make the call. Libby calls Sonya.
Cut to later when Sonya walks in with Jade as support. Libby welcomes her and apologises for calling. But just then Toadie marches in, and demands to know why Sonya is there. Libby explains the situation, so Toadie marches into the classroom and tells Sonya not to bother.
Wow, how quickly Toadie forgot all the lies and manipulation and hurt that he caused not less than a year ago.
Harold's Store
Kate's phone bleeps and admits to Jade she wanted it to be Mark. It's not.
Lucas is teasing Mark about calling Kate in for a face- to- face conversation about Garland - it was a lame excuse! Lucas asks Mark if he wants to get back with Kate; Mark doesn't answer. Lucas tells him to make up his mind.
Harold's Store
Kate wonders if she should call Mark to explain the whole Kyle thing, but Jade tells her it's a bad idea - Mark has to work for it this time. Kate reluctantly agrees. But she thinks she should do something! Jade tells her to stop trying.
Lucas tells Mark to pull out the big guns - flowers, chocolates. Kate will have Jade in her ear, so Kate will make him work for it! He reminds Mark that if he doesn't make the effort, someone else will - and points to a strategically placed Kyle, flexing his biceps at the bar.
Harold's Store
Libby comes in and tells Susan and Lucas about the Callum, Dean, Sonya and Toadie debacle. Susan feels sorry for Toadie - she's taking his side! Libby thinks Toadie needs someone to talk to - and looks right at Lucas. Lucas says that he can't make Toad talk...
...but he's at the bar with Callum and Toadie and about to say something to Toad when Mark walks in.
MARK: That's the last time I listen to you, Fitzgerald.
Callum wants to know if Mark has arrested anyone today, but Toadie takes him away to play pool.
LUCAS: What?!
MARK: You're great idea backfired.
LUCAS: What idea?
MARK: The flowers.
LUCAS: What, Kate didn't like 'em?
MARK: I didn't get to give them to her. I bought these potted daffofil things and now my whole apartment's covered in gnats.
LUCAS: Gnats?
MARK: Compost gnats. They're everywhere. Now my whole place has to be fumigated.
Lucas falls about laughing.
MARK: It's not funny.
LUCAS: Yeah, it is!
MARK: (serious) They bite. I can't go home for a week. They get into everything. And I mean - everything.
LUCAS: Uh... OH. Oh. Ew.
Mark explains that he'll have to book a room at a hotel whilst his place is sorted, and tells Lucas he owes him dinner for this. Lucas has an idea - and looks over at Toadie, whilst Callum is asking his dad if Mark can play pool with them.
Number 30
Toadie helps Mark with his cases as he moves in for a week. He says it'll be nice to have another man in the house - this used to be the House of Trouser.
Mark looks around the house - and the mess. Toadie apologises for it, but Mark's clearly disturbed by the lack of order. And when Toadie leaves the room, Mark takes a deep, calming breath.
