Ramsay Street
Steph is about to call Dan, but then jumps as Callum sneaks up on her. She snaps at him, but then tells him that he needs to tell them where he's going when he goes out.

Steph turns to her phone again, but then Lyn comes over and tells her not to do it.

Lyn walks Steph to No.26 trying to talk her out of calling Dan. Toadie comes over and says he doesn't think it's a good idea either, but it's Steph's decision.

LYN: Sweetheart, I know you're very sorry for Dan. It's just, he's not the only one in this mess, is he?!
STEPH: You think I know don't that, mum? I'm reminded of it every day! Every single day.
LYN: Which is why we all decided to keep this secret for so long. Because if it gets out, people will get hurt. You tell Dan, it could be out there. Are you willing to take that risk.
STEPH:(sighs) I need to lie down.

No.26
Steph is lying down on the sofa, flashbacks to recent events running through her dreams - the news about Dan, Libby, Lucas... Suddenly she wakes with a jump. She tells Lyn and Toadie that she's thought about it, and she wants to call Dan.

STEPH: Dan might run straight to Libby and Lucas, but I just feel it's the right thing to do. He's got a right to know. And I just hate all this lying.

Toadie simmers with concealed exasperation but he just says:

TOADIE: It's your call. It's always been your call.
STEPH:(hugging him) Thanks.
LYN: If you think it's the right thing to do, sweetheart.

She picks up the phone, but Dan's number goes through to voicemail.

STEPH: Hi Dan, it's Steph. I know you're in hospital, but I need you to call me, please. It's really urgent.

She hangs up. Lyn and Toadie exchange looks.

Outside the Coffee Shop
Donna and Zeke still aren't speaking. But Zeke comes over and apologises for having a go at her - he was just freaking out at the station falling apart. They hug, and Kate offers to make him a coffee.

When Zeke has gone, Donna looks thoughtful.

KATE: You OK?
DONNA: No.
KATE: Why, what's wrong?
DONNA: Ringo loves me. Rebecca made Paul apologise to me...it was a grunt apology, but still, quite impressive for him. Business is good, uni's great, best friend's fantastic, and now Zeke's just apologised too. My life is officially...good.

Ramsay Street
Kate and Donna see Zeke and Ringo and Donna tells them that she's freaking out because everything's so good!

DONNA: My life is too perfect. This is the part in the movies where everything starts going wrong. The girl's got everything going for her...perfect life, perfect job, perfect boyfriend, and then one day...bam! Really bad things start to happen and her life is destroyed.

Ringo is looking through his mail and stops at one, but he doesn't say anything.

Ringo, Zeke, Kate and Donna are hanging out. Ringo is reading the letter at the counter and shows it to Zeke - he's won on the Green Card lottery. He doesn't know if he wants to go now - he applied when he was in Sydney. Zeke assures him that Donna would move to the USA in a flash, but Ringo doesn't want to tell her - Donna has got her life all mapped out.

Ramsay Street
Lyn tells Summer, Chris and Lucas that she will go biking with them. Libby, Steph and Toadie wave them off. As they are talking, Steph gets a text message from Dan - "Don't call me again". Libby suggests that they all go biking with the rest, but Steph is clearly dumbstruck by Dan's text.

No.22
Ringo, Zeke, Donna and Kate are preparing lunch. Donna looks in the fridge for mustard.

DONNA: OK, we got French, or American.
ZEKE: American. Nothing like the good ol' U S of A!

Donna picks up on the undercurrent and asks Ringo what's going on. He confesses about the Green Card. Donna is really excited for him, but Ringo says he doesn't want to stuff things up for them. Donna says that's a Green Card is an amazing opportunity.

Outside No.22
Ringo and Donna are sitting on the wall. He can't imagine going to the USA, but Donna says they can go and do anything they want - and if it doesn't work out, they can come back. He is more sceptical, saying Donna is a risk- taker, but she says she can only take risks because she knows Ringo is there for her.

RINGO: So what do we do?
DONNA: We go to New York!
RINGO: New York!

Toadie invites Callum to come bike- riding with them and he goes off to invite Sophie too.

Steph's phone rings and she and Toadie jump, but it's just Lucas.

When Libby is out of the room, Steph tries to ring Dan again. Toadie and Lyn try to to roll their eyes.

No.28
Donna and Ringo tell Zeke and Kate that they're going to America. They are very excited.

ZEKE: Hey, can I come and visit you guys and mooch off you for months on end?!
DONNA: Yes!

Donna explains that they're going to live in New York - she'll ask Elle to help Donna to get a sponsor so that she can work there. Ringo and Zeke start friendly punching each other a little too hard(!) while Kate calls Declan.

The Bush
Sophie, Callum, Lyn, Lucas, Toadie, Steph and Libby are off- road biking. Except Steph has decided it might not be a good idea in her condition, so she is staying behind.

LYN: Lucas! For heaven's sake, you didn't tell me it was an obstacle course!

Steph tells Toadie quietly that she doesn't know what to do about Dan. Libby comes over and offers to keep Steph company. Lucas is on the phone to Dan.

When Lucas gets off the phone, he comes over and speaks to Steph.

LUCAS: He needs some space. He's asked me to tell you to stop calling him.

Libby looks at Steph in confusion. When Lucas has ridden off, Libby continues to look at her.

STEPH: I was just worried.
LIBBY: Of course.
STEPH: About Dan, about you. I say how upset you were when you found out and I felt terrible that I knew and I didn't tell you and...I wanted to make sure that everything was alright.
LIBBY: Lucas said everything was.
STEPH: I know, but you know guys. Break a leg and call it a scratch.
LIBBY: Dan's accident was a bit more serious.
STEPH: I know. I just mean...I just wanted to make sure that Lucas was telling us everything. That you knew everything.
LIBBY: I'm a big girl. I don't always fall apart.
STEPH: I just hate seeing you upset.
LIBBY: You're the best, do you know that?

They hug.

(Later)

Steph and Libby are chatting amicably when the bikers get back. Callum is still being a bit frosty with Toadie.

Steph tells Toadie quietly about the conversation she had with Libby. She berates herself for lying again.

Elle has told Donna that there's no way that she can get Donna a sponsor - you have to have irreplaceable skills. She can only stay for 3 months as a visitor. But she tells Ringo that he still has to go, but he doesn't want to without her.

Garden of No.28
Donna is talking to Kate about the New York thing. She's feeling guilty that Ringo won't go without her. Zeke comes out.

ZEKE: So, anyway, I was online.
DONNA: You spend half your life online.
ZEKE: OK, so you don't want to know what I found out about moving to America
DONNA: What?
ZEKE: There still might be a way you can do this.

DONNA: Ringo, you're an old- fashioned guy, and I'm a new- fashioned girl, which is why we're so great together.
RINGO: OK...
DONNA: Will you marry me?
RINGO: We're already engaged!
DONNA: I know that. You can't take a girlfriend to America on a Green Card, but you can take your wife.
ZEKE: Yeah it's true.
KATE: You can still go.
DONNA: Both of us. If you marry me, really, really soon.
RINGO: No. You're right, I am old fashioned, and this isn't right.
DONNA: (disappointed) But Ringo, this solves everything...
RINGO: No. If you do something, you do it right. (pause) That's why I believe that it's my job to propose to you, and not the other way round. Donna, will you marry me, like, really soon?
DONNA: Take me to America.

They all laugh and Donna and Ringo embrace.

ZEKE: Now you just have to tell your Dad.
DONNA: What?
ZEKE: Nick. you have to tell him.

Donna looks worried.

- Kate asks Libby if she can postpone her teaching placement
